Not a big fan of the self check in.. I don't think I spoke to a staff member my whole stay. Needed fresh bath mats every day as the shower made a mess, but only towels were dropped off on my door. BYO towel to the onsen.

Reviewed Sep 12, 2026It’s in a very convenient location and has an extremely easy check out process. Breakfast is ok, it saves you from buying elsewhere but don’t expect something too extraordinary.
The elevators are packed and certain moments and it takes a while to go down. I couldn’t use the spa because I have tattoos but I understand that a cultural thing.

Reviewed Sep 4, 2026Es el típico hotel urbano asiático: habitaciones pequeñas, mucho movimiento y huéspedes llegando a distintas horas. Sin embargo, su gran punto fuerte es la ubicación. Está muy bien conectado, cerca de varias líneas y estaciones de metro y a poca distancia caminando de todo lo interesante de Shinjuku. Al mismo tiempo, está lo suficientemente alejado de las zonas más caóticas como para que, al volver al hotel, el ambiente sea mucho más tranquilo. La limpieza de la habitación se realiza cada tres días, aunque si lo solicitas pueden hacerla diariamente. El personal es amable, atento y siempre dispuesto a ayudar. En general, una muy buena opción si buscas una ubicación práctica para recorrer Tokio y estar cerca de la vida de Shinjuku, pero sin dormir en medio de todo el ruido y el caos.
Las habitaciones son bastante pequeñas, aunque era algo que ya sabía antes de reservar y que, en general, es bastante habitual en Tokio. Lo que sí me pareció especialmente pequeño fue el baño, sobre todo la tina. Resulta bastante incómoda por sus dimensiones y, en la práctica, es difícil imaginarla siendo utilizada realmente para tomar un baño.

Reviewed Aug 31, 2026As always, the APA hotel are a great choice for anywhere in Japan. It’s very reasonably priced luxury. Always very clean. Always very comfortable. Always a friendly staff. This location is in Shinjuku and close to everything you want to see in Shinjuku and kubukicho. Plus one of the BEST Ramon restaurants is very close as well as the cool 3-D cat billboard. This hotel is close to all the shopping you can handle and all of it is walkable. The onsen at this hotel is also fabulous and much needed after 40,000 steps each day! 😊 I’ve stayed her a few times and when I in Shinjuku this is the place. The metro station is very close and you can get a train to just about anywhere in Tokyo! Thanks APA for another great stay ! ❤️

The room wasn’t very clean. There was textured walls, almost like carpet on the walls that had many visible stains on them. It just gave the impression that it was dirty. Room was very small. Bed was hard.

Erwartungsgemäß sehr kleines, etwas in die Jahre gekommenes Zimmer in gewohnter APA Qualität und Ausstattung. Schöner kleiner Onsenbereich, sehr gepflegt. Guter Zimmerservice.
Die Matratze war etwas durchgelegen, wird allerdings vermutlich turnusmäßig ersetzt.

無いけど、強いて言うなら、お風呂が丸いからか、端からシャワーの水が出て外がビシャビシャになった。 連泊だったから、工夫すれば大丈夫にはなった。

Reviewed Aug 6, 2026I had messaged them few weeks ahead requesting an upgrade and a larger room. No one responded till two days before. We found the room only suited to one person and when requested an upgrade they said we can pay extra and need to check out and check back in twice creating more discomfort. We didn’t see larger rooms but hotel is mainly suited to business travellers or one person. My husband and I are retirees from Australia so are used to bit more room. I hit and bruised my arm as I was getting out of bed. We absolutely loved our stay in Osaka and Kyoto and absolutely loved Japan and their most courteous and helpful people. Next time we need to be careful with Tokyo hotel. Regardless we are grateful for the services at APA. Thank you

除了一位櫃臺小姐較不親切外， 其他餐廳與櫃臺服務人員都很棒。 CHECK IN的系統有BUG， 加上不親切的櫃臺小姐除了沒有好臉色， 在我操作系統時也不理我， 由於不大熟悉系統， 中間只要操作有個沒有填入就會刷新， 所有填入的資訊都會瞬間消失重來， 我地址大概重複填了五次， 是我四間飯店中最不好操作的系統， 主要是沒有人協助， 是直到第五次後，才有位親切的先生來幫忙， 但也不用了，我自己知道問題在哪了。

Reviewed Aug 5, 2026El hotel es muy funcional, muy bien comunicado, cerca de metro y del tren. Tiene muy buena relación calidad precio y tiene un Onsen que está muy bien.
Las habitaciones son un poco pequeñas, pero las camas son cómodas. Te hacen la habitación si lo pides.

El tamaño de la habitación era minúsculo. Nos alojamos en 3 sitios más y está fue la más pequeña . Cuando llegamos en el baño había pelos y un algodoncillo de los oídos en el suelo ….

前台有非常多位員工，至少5位以上。但是只有一位年輕男性員工被推出來負責英文溝通。都是使用電子入住機器協助辦理入住，就算有事先線上登錄一點取得QR CODE也沒有用，因為入住機器只會顯示找不到訂單，當下還需要重新填寫所有個人資訊，非常耗費時間。友人的booking訂單，現場被要求刷卡付費，8/4回國後booking連結的信用卡還被重複扣款。飯店的訂房系統非常糟糕，需要當成笑話來看待的一次入住體驗。

Chambre très très petite pour les doubles. Même pas la place de poser les valises, il faut les glisser sous le lit! Longue attente aux assenceurs surtout vers l'heure du checkout!

Reviewed Jul 25, 2026Hôtel très bien situé à côté d'une station de métro et d'un parc. Le quartier est très animé. Bien isolé, nous n'entendons pas les bruits extérieurs. Le personnel est très serviable.
La chambre est petite, pas de place pour ranger les affaires mais c'est courant à Tokyo. La salle de bain est minuscule mais propre. La salle de petit déjeuner n'est pas très accueillante, beaucoup de salé et peu de sucré mais c'est suffisant.

Reviewed Jul 23, 2026Proche de la gare et du métro de Shinjuku. Quartier plutôt calme. Grand hôtel avec l'équivalent de bains chauds avec hommes / femmes séparés. Des machines à laver et des sèches linge disponibles.
Chambres très petites mais suffisantes car on peut ranger les valises sous le lit.

Mi experiencia en este hotel no fue buena. Lo único que destacaría es su excelente ubicación y la amabilidad del personal, quienes siempre fueron atentos. Entiendo que es un hotel económico, pero tiene muchas deficiencias. Nunca encendían el aire acondicionado en los elevadores ni en los pasillos, por lo que las áreas comunes eran muy calurosas. La habitación era realmente muy pequeña. Reservamos una habitación para dos personas y la cama era matrimonial. De un lado estaba completamente pegada a la pared y del otro solo había un pasillo de aproximadamente 30 cm antes de llegar a un escritorio muy pequeño. El espacio para moverse era muy limitado. El baño también era pequeño, aunque sí contaba con tina. Las sábanas resultaban incómodas porque picaban y la habitación tenía un olor desagradable, como a pies. Además, únicamente proporcionan agua embotellada el primer día de la estancia. Si viajas solo y únicamente buscas un lugar bien ubicado para dormir, puede ser una opción aceptable. Pero si buscas comodidad, definitivamente no lo recomendaría y, en lo personal, no volvería a hospedarme aquí.
