Had a great experience here! The ambiance, service, accommodations, and options were all wonderful! I definitely recommend especially for families. If you are traveling with friends or prefer a quieter space I would recommend Secrets side next door which was also beautiful! Only downside is it is hard to see sunset from Dreams side and all pools outside of the bar pool were too warm, it also was very hot this time of year so not sure if that’s a norm. Also don’t forget the hidden waterpark off sixth floor! This area was not as busy as the main pool area and had tons of options like yummy fish tacos and ice cream!

Save your money go elsewhere. I was very disappointed as I paid extra for the preferred suite . Food and service were lacking.

The resort is absolutely beautiful!! The food, bars, staff and cleanliness went well beyond my expectations!! The beach is rocky. You should wear swimming shoes to prevent injuring your feet. The waves can be rough at certain times. But the only reason I gave it an average review, and I want to stress only, is because the pools close early. If the pools were open later I would have given this resort the best reviews!! If you are not into pools then I would highly recommend this place!!!

I would not recommend this resort as a family vacation. There was ongoing construction with noise all afternoon in room areas. The beach was basically non-existant and not clean, food was sub par with our main and only options being the world cafe or sea side bar or hamburger stop without having to arrive early to hope for a table at either the japanese or italian specialty restaurants. The buffet servers never wore gloves, the furniture was dirty, repeat food over and over. We all got sick on our day back... After years of going to these resorts will never go back or recommend this one.

The staff was incredible and made the stay unforgettable. The rooms were clean and well appointed as was the rest of the resort. The layout was a little confusing but once we figured it out it was fine. The beach was very nice not very swimmable but wadeable if you want to swim at a beach catch a taxi over to sayulita for the day the beach was perfect there. We will definitely be back to the Bahia Mita property but may do the secrets side instead of the dreams side as we dont have kids.

I just came back from a wonderful week teaching yoga at Dreams Bahia Mita Surf & Spa ! It was a great privilege to teach yoga at this beautiful resort! The resort is very nice, the staff is friendly and very helpful . The resort is impeccable, very clean and well maintained. The rooms are beautiful and beds are very comfortable. Even if it is a big resort (Dreams and Secret are beside one each other), the service is awesome, they make sure to do everything to enhance your experience. There is a lot of pools, restaurant, bars and different lounge areas so it never feel too crowded. Therefore, the atmosphere is quite relax, so if you are looking for a more dynamic or party vibe, it may not be the place. The yoga location was just behind the beach under the trees, great location, protected from the sun and the sound of the waves was just perfect to accompany the yoga flow! ✨ Food and drinks were good, lots of choices and ingredients were very fresh. The beach is very nice and the waves are quite big, perfect for surfing 🏄🏼‍♀️! I was there with my daughters (13 and 17) and we had a great time, we really enjoyed our stay!!! 🧘🏻‍♀️✨😎

For being a newer resort we were suprised to find some areas still under construction and incomplete. We found the options at the spa to be limited and overpriced. The waterpark was ok and so were the swimming pools, but they weren't exceptional. The ocean and the beach area, although small, was very pretty. The evening entertainment was very plain. We didn't like the sales team that were trying to sell memberships. We liked the restaurants and the food was great. Our room was very spacious and we loved the connecting rooms for our kids staying next door.

We had a wonderful stay at this resort and would absolutely come back! The entire property was exceptionally clean—everywhere we went was spotless, from the rooms to the pools and common areas. The staff was amazing, always friendly, welcoming, and eager to help, which really made our trip even better. The food exceeded our expectations with plenty of variety, and we rarely had to wait for a table or our meals. The pools were also very clean and enjoyable, although the water was a little warmer than we personally prefer. The only area that fell a little short for us was the drinks. They were okay, but none of them stood out enough to make us want to order them again. Everything was served in the same cup, and they lacked the fun presentation and creativity we've experienced at other resorts. One of our favorite parts of the trip was the outdoor fiesta on our first night—it was such a fun event with great energy! We just wish there had been more evening entertainment like that throughout the rest of our stay, as the other nights felt a bit quiet. Overall, we had a beautiful room, a relaxing vacation, and a great experience. The cleanliness, incredible staff, and quality of the food made this a place we'd definitely return to. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Hotel was overrated for the experience, service was terrible and food poor, my room was dusty and the staff can be rude. I had to constantly ask where to go, no guideline on the first arriving day , they are More worry to get you on one of the “talks” and if you do not agree they move to the next. The service was not as the Mexico excellence we always get, to be a Dreams this is very poor quality. Elevators constant not working and make it more walk than necessary, buffet food it’s out for a long time no replacements, sorry but not coming back

El servicio no es el mejor, los restaurantes son muy limitados, tienen horarios muy cortos, la ubicación de las habitaciones es terrible, solo había 1 ascensor para todos los huéspedes. Los anuncios que tienen en internet sobre habitaciones beach-front son falsas, igual los horarios de bar y restaurante.

A mis hijos les dio conjuntivitis infecciosa por el agua de las albercas, tuve que retirarme a pesar que teníamos pensado estar otro dia , muchísimo ruido fuera de la habitación, cero aislamiento de ruido en la puerta, la habitación tenía los muebles sucios y las cortinas de la habitación , la playa imposible de meterse ya que de un lado había erizos y del otro piedras asi qué no pudimos meter a los niños al mar )= , había dos grupos escolares con niños que nadie vigilaba o les llamaba la atención por su mal comportamiento , si por mi fuera pedía mi reembolso, ya que el hotel no cumplió con as espectaivas , sin embargo la gente tiene que comer y el personal no tiene la culpa

Staff were friendly, the food was fantastic, amenities were nice.

The junior suite doesn’t have a door to the bathroom. There is a partial wall with wood slats and then glass doors for the shower and the toilet. There was no privacy within the room. If someone was in the bathroom, you heard everything. Also the shower poured water out into the man bathroom area and into the toilet area. We had to use towels on the floor to sop up the mess. This was my only complaint the entire trip.

Loved absolutely everything from food to our room to the service. I’ve never had a better experience at any other resort.

The resort was very large which was difficult for more mobility impaired family members. I did see renting a mobility scooter was an option so we will keep that in mind for future visits

The friendly staff, variety of food, huge rooms, pools, & huge resort were all fantastic! Something for everyone in the family to eat. I loved hitting up the 24-hr Coco Cafe for my coffee everyday and my husband and kids had ice cream a couple times a day. Would definitely stay there again for the same price!

Not deal-breakers because I would definitely stay there again, but the only cons I can think of are: -Beds were just okay. Not the most comfortable and sunk in the middle. Covers too warm for climate. -The rooms seem to be well-soundproofed from neighbours, but the indoor hallways echo horribly through the door. I would get woken up hourly by loud guests talking and yelling passing our door. -Beach is a little rocky. It was still beautiful for walks and spotting sea creatures with my kids. Luckily, we are more pool-goers anyways.

I rarely post reviews, but want to ensure others see this to potentially prevent disappointment when spending a lot of money for a vacation. My Wife and I have stayed at Secrets previously and were very excited based on that experience, but were quickly let down. We were very disappointed in the layout and amount of wasted space. Our "suite" was not a suite, but simply two connecting rooms. The drinks at the bar were terrible and there was a different level of alcohol served for Dreams vs Secrets, which should not be the case at an all-inclusive resort. Unfortunate, but understandable, but the the English spoken by employees wasn't the best. Water Park amenities didn't open until 1100 daily. Yes, 1100. NYE we were "forced" to pay for a table that cost between $ 400-600 because "there the resort wouldn't guarantee seating and there was only one restaurant open on NYE and was adults only".

Honestly, the pictures don't do this property justice. VERY kid friendly with lots of shallow pools to splash around in; but also plenty of regular pools as well. We were there over Christmas and the property is so well laid-out that I had no idea there were anywhere close to as many people at the property as there were until the Christmas Eve celebration in the center space. I was shocked; it did not feel like there were anywhere close to that many people on property on any of our days.

The resort itself is incredible, and the staff is so kind and helpful. I found overall the food and environment, variety of restaurants very good. The pools were amazing and the service exceptional. There were many children, almost too many, and no "quiet" areas where the adults could go without being inundated with kid behaviour and loud horseplay. Highly recommend the Secrets side if you want a quiet experience

We had a great experience overall staying at this resort. It exceeded our expectations. We arrived very late due to flight issues, and the staff were incredibly helpful in getting us checked in quickly and making sure we had everything we needed, especially while traveling with a 1-year-old. The staff throughout the resort were very friendly and had a great attitude. The service overall was top-notch. The breakfast buffet was excellent, and we loved that there was a lady outside making fresh tortillas. The food selection and quality were great. The only feedback we would share is that if you are specifically looking for a beach vacation, the beach may not meet expectations. It is quite rocky, and the family area is much smaller compared to the adults-only side. It can feel a bit tight and limited, which may affect the overall experience. The beach area does not quite match the quality of the resort’s facilities, which otherwise are excellent. The pools, food, amenities, and even the gym were all fantastic. All the restaurants were amazing, especially El Patio, where we had an excellent dining experience and outstanding food. The Italian restaurant had the longest wait and slowest service, but the food was still good overall. In terms of activities, we really enjoyed Mexican Night, which was probably our favorite. Most of the other activities were located farther away and usually scheduled quite late, which was not ideal when traveling with a 1-year-old. It would be great if the resort offered more centrally located shows or entertainment. There was also no bar with live music or salsa dancing, which would have been a nice addition. Overall, we would definitely come back and would recommend this resort to our friends and family.

Definitely bring water shoes. The layout is very confusing at first, there is a pool on the 6th floor but nobody tells you, visit this pool. Food was excellent. If you’re staying on higher floors, most elevators do not go to floors 7 and 8- ask for clear directions- we dragged our suitcases to 4 elevators that didn’t go to our floors. Staff was polite, resort was clean, food was great. Lots of walking required but a great way to get in steps to counter any drinks/desserts!

This was my second stay at this resort and we returned because our first stay, which was for a wedding, was so fun and the food is great. I would recommend paying more for the ocean view rooms thought. This time, we opted for the tropical rooms to save money. Althought the rooms were just as spacious and clean, it smelled like open sewage 3 of the 4 nights we were there. I noticed during the day that we were near a pond that was full of green algae. When my boyfreind told customer service, we recieved $200 worth of coupons, but we couldn't use them because each coupon was worth about $10-$20 off a full spa service or romantic dinner, but you can only use them one at a time rather than togther; and the services are already really pricey so they weren't worth it.

Had an amazing experience celebrating my birthday with my family. There was something for everyone and the food and drinks were delicious and something to come back to:) Ismael at the lobby bar made amazing drinks and had the good vibes always! Ivan at the front lobby set us up for the rest of the trip with spa treatments and beach cabanas! On my birthday Mario and his partner I can’t remember her name took great care of us! Loved every minute of the trip!

0/10 would not recommend. I am a travel advisor and booked this property for 2 nights/ 2 rooms. One for the parents and one for the kids + nanny. From not replying to my emails prior to arrival, our bags being misplaced by the front desk, trying to sell us an upgraded room while my special needs kid cried on the floor of the lobby, to the bellman trying to get me to do a timeshare presentation offering me a free massage if I did, the rooms being insanely far from pools or beach, the water in the kids pools not heated (way colder then the ocean), pools not open until 11am (clearly no one here has kids?) , all the seating around kids pools are cabanas to rent. You need to be atleast 20-30ft away or on another story above the pool for a free lounger- I guess they don't care if your kids drown while you're running to them )0- few vegetarian options (we are all vegetarian and my special needs kiddo specifically) , unhelpful staff all around. What this property does do is give you an instragamable backdrop. So if you care about your social media presence- book it. If you care about anything else- book somewhere else.

We chose this resort based on reviews and pictures. Most of it is not true… there is a huge construction going on next door. Instead of quiet forest view you might get a construction war zone. We got upgraded but it took time and effort to get what we paid for. We paid for preferred room that only allows you access to adult side pools and bars. Be aware that with preferred level if you are staying on the dreams side you cannot get into the secrets restaurants for diner even adults only. You would have to pay extra… a lot of extra! Overall we enjoyed the day at the pool in the rented cabana and most of the restaurants. Like most people mention- it is a lot to walk from one side to another. We were not impressed with evening shows. Kids club was only for really little ones and teen longe was bare minimum. Pool tables for the most part. The best thing what we enjoyed was zip line tour as a family. It was nice as it was at the property (extra charge) Rooms were beautiful, modern and new and very spacious. Room service is a hit or miss. One day we waited 10 min another close to 2 hours and when ordered extra water in the evening it was over an hour. And we stayed during slow season. We stayed a week and had room service every day but never turn down service. Not sure if you have to request this or not but it was not a big deal for us. Lots of events going on from weddings to family outings and business meets. It can get loud at night.

I felt the cost was high for the amenities within the resort. The beach area is very less and with rocks and high tides we didnt enjoy as much beach area. The restaurants were ok

Our family stayed at Dreams Bahia Mita in Puerto Vallarta for a wedding, and it was absolutely wonderful from start to finish. The resort is stunning — modern, clean, and perfectly set against breathtaking ocean views that make every moment feel special. The staff truly stood out for their warmth and attentiveness; everyone we encountered went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and memorable. The food across the restaurants was consistently excellent, with plenty of delicious options for both adults and kids. Between the relaxing pools, the beautiful beach, and the variety of amenities, there was always something to enjoy. It was the perfect blend of luxury, fun, and genuine hospitality — we can’t wait to come back!

I would like to give a special shout out to Manuel and Daniel, our servers at El Patio Restaurant. They took such amazing care of us with tremendous warmth and attention to detail, which was greatly appreciated as we had a toddler and baby with us. They made the entire dinner feel extra special. Food here was delicious, we came back twice.

The resort is good but food and service at restaurants could be better. The pool area is amazing and staff is very friendly and attentive.

I absolutely love this resort. The overall atmosphere, drink and food are excellent. This was our second time staying here and we love watching for whales from the heated pools. Our room was small but comfortable. My adult kids even enjoyed the water park! The drink in the Preferred lounge were excellent and they even had Woodford and Bulleit! My only complaint was the complete lack of Hyatt membership benefits. My Explorists status did not get me any upgrades and I was asked to pay for an upgraded room If you are a Hyatt member the club certificate is worth using but no other benefits.

Room, Service, Food and Amenities were amazing. Armando puts on a great hibachi show and Luis makes the best spicy mezcalitas. Always a family favorite resort that just keeps getting better.

From the moment we arrived, the welcoming staff ensured a smooth check-in process and provided outstanding hospitality throughout the stay. The best lounge bartender award goes to Ishmael who made the best drinks always with a smile. The accommodations were modern and spacious. My room featured a private balcony where I could enjoy sunset views in a private plunge pool. A highlight of the resort is its culinary variety. A must try is the Asian restaurant, it is beyond delicious. Regardless of where you eat, the food was consistently fresh, flavourful, and beautifully presented. The staff made a point of accommodating dietary preferences, and service always came with a friendly smile. The resort's pools and wellness amenities are fabulous as well. Try the Sky Bar pool for the best views and cocktails! A shout out to Julio and Hector they made sure we always had tasty drinks and even brought us water to make sure we were hydrated! In summary, Dreams Bahia Mita Surf is the perfect destination for those seeking a blend of luxury, and relaxation. Highly recommended anyone looking to escape to paradise.

Just got back from our trip. It was an awesome stay. Food was solid. Beach was nice. Lots of pools and places to eat. Friendly, helpful staff. I was worried it was going to be too big, but no complaints really. It's easy to get the lay of the land, and it makes sense where things are located. Entertainment was good. Cool towns close by. I recommend going to Sayulita for a day. Would definately go back. The West Coast, is the Best Coast.

This was our second stay here and we hope to be back! The Explorer's Club staff was exceptional--Magaly, Claudia, Brisa, Kali, Violeta, Jenny--all amazing! Seeing them play with children at the pirate ship--they were engaged and seemed to genuinely enjoy caring for kids. The food was generally solid, with an outstanding breakfast buffet. Luisa always greeted us with a smile at the omelet station, and the crepe station gentleman was always so friendly and kind. Warning--use the free beach shoes at the beach--my husband got injured by a sea urchin when he did not. It would be nice to have child-sized life jackets at the aquatics center as well. The boogie boards were fun, but beware of rocks and sea-urchins. As globalists, we received excellent service and access to preferred lounge, but no upgrade was available for us.

Everything at this resort was complicated: the reservations to restaurants, no parent access to the kids club was weird, where you could sit to eat, no service at the pool, among many others. To top things off we had to cut our vacation short for an emergency bat home, talked to Expedia who said they would refund our nights if the hotel agreed too, which they did when we were still there in person. Fast forward two weeks later, they let us know that their front desk made a mistake and they won’t be refunding our 2k. Terrible customer service all around, won’t be staying there again.

Food is pretty good. Rooms are pretty nice. Doors to the rooms are SOOOOO thin. You can hear EVERYTHING going on outside!! Our room faced a large courtyard and there’s LOUD music going til 11:00pm at night. It sounds like the party/karaoke is literally in your room. If you like to go to bed before 11:00pm this is not the place for you.

Great resort for kids. Specifically the slides for the bigger kids, splash area for little kids and the awesome kids club! My kids begged to go and see Brisa, Claudia, Jenny, Kali, Violeta and Magaly every day!!

We just got back from 10 days at Dreams Bahia Mita and it was really wonderful! My kids and I enjoyed the Zipline tour with Abisai and Brisa. They were so patient and kind when my youngest got scared and wanted to ride with the instructor. And it was a nice break from the pools and sun, and we got to see some cool wildlife. The staff were really attentive and kind. It was about 50 min ride from the airport, but feels very safe an secure; we called it 'the compound'. Bring a lot more sunscreen than you think you need; it's over $20 USD for the cheapest bottle here.

Came as a guest for a wedding, and Dreams Bahía Mita did not disappoint. Great food options (restaurants and “to go” spots throughout the resort with fresh made to order snacks and great ready-made items also), pool and beach area was clean, service was prompt, kind and professional. Rooms were very comfy and luxurious. Loved all the free entertainment options (Edgar’s Jungle Trek around the property was awesome! (He did a fabulous job making it accessible for families and people of all ages, it was fun and informative)). Location was quiet compared to previous experiences in Puerto Vallarta. Looking forward to coming again soon. (Major plus for it trying to be environmentally conscious too).

This exceeded our expectations! Especially Wendy who made pool time so much more fun! Games, bracelet making, dancing, and even recognizing our daughter’s birthdays with cakes. We came over Thanksgiving week - it wasn’t crowded. The food was awesome, much better than we expected. This includes catering to picky kids. Stephanie served us twice (once Thanksgiving and once at El Patio). She took the time to have conversation with us and even introduced the chef at El Patio so we could share it was our favorite meal!! We would certainly come back!!

We went for a family destination wedding, and the wedding was wonderful on the huge deck of the presidential suite overlooking the ocean. It was a lovely resort, with many great restaurants, and pools. The layout of the resort was confusing, especially the elevator system. We enjoyed walking down the beach, and relaxing on the beach, but it wasn't really a swimming beach with the strong waves pounding onto shore and the rocks in the water and along the shore. It was interesting watching the surfers. One family member apparently saw whales out in bay and turtles heading from the shore out to the ocean, we were disappointed we missed these. It was great weather every day, by midday, we headed to the pools to cool down. The rooms were large with a beautiful marble bathroom, great mattress, and nice balcony. The rooms were clean, and staff were very friendly. Sometimes we had to ask for bottled water for the room fridge or face cloths/towels, but when we asked, whatever we requested was quickly brought to our room. We were close to the Water Park entrance, so we could sometimes heard children in the hallways, not really a big issue though. The staff were pleasant and helpful, from the beach to the restaurants/buffets/cafes. We were surprised to see our hallway being completely block off for some repairs, which meant taking an elevator to the floor above us, going to the end of the hall and then taking another elevator down to our floor. But I guess the needed to do the repairs. We don't usually stay at such a luxury resort, so it was a wonderful treat for us! Probably the most beautiful resort we will ever stay, thanks Dream and Secrets!

If I could give this resort 10 stars out of 5 I gladly would. From the immaculate grounds and upkeep, to the fantastic food and drinks, all the way to the staff and everything in between we had an amazing time. We travelled to the Dreams sides as a family of 4 for a reasonably large partied destination wedding in November 2025. The grounds seem daunting at first as it is a very long property. Not particularly wide but that is okay. My mother also travelled with our larger group and had a mobility scooter and she was able to get around without concern. After the first day or two you learn the 'secret' elevators to get where you need to go instead of doing the long walk in a straight line. Personally for me my favourite part of the trip was the food. Breakfast usually started at the World Cafe Buffet, which has a massive selection that you will be able to mix and match every day of your trip and not eat the same food twice if you are so inclined. Most lunches I spent at the Tacoyotl taco bar. I made it my mission to eat my way through the entire menu. Some of the best tacos I've had in quite some time. Granted, the authentic taco choices in Canada are lacking to say the least but the point holds. For those who want to mix it up there are also a lot of lunch time sit down 'a la carte's' and fast food options if that is your style. For dinner it was quite refreshing as you could just walk into any of the a la carte restaurants without a reservation. Feel like Italian? Just walk in any time after 6PM. Japanese? Sure. Seafood? Yup. French? Well, hold up. You need to be staying at the Secrets side because that's the only child free restaurant (which is perfectly fine, I get it having kids myself)... Outside of that there is only one reservation you need to make to eat there and that is for the Teppanyaki experience inside the Japanese restaurant. There are two 10 person tables lining two 8 foot long grills where the chefs do their best to entertain and cook in front of you. Flipping food, lighting fires and making jokes. We were able to get in on our last day and is well worth the attempt. I recommend checking the Hotel App to book this, you won't regret it. In terms of the pools, once again, very impressed. There wasn't the plague of towels being set out early in the morning as 'reserves'. I don't know if the staff cleared out that stuff throughout the day or headed it off at the pass in the morning but there was ALWAYS prime loungers available at almost every pool. Speaking of towels they were all over. No towel booths that you needed a card to redeem. No mid-day towel shortages. Every 20-30 feet or so near the pools there were tables piled high with fresh towel, ready to go. When you are done with them just toss them in a large wooden bin next to the fresh towels. This was the first resort I've been to that was so liberal with their towels. Loved it. This kids really enjoyed the water park. Even though there was 'only' 3 large slides they didn't get sick of them. They'd go to one of the attached pools, swim and then be ready to go back on the slides again. The beach is reasonably small in terms of it's footprint and is extremely wavy. It's not particularly a lounging in the ocean style beach. Very rocky and dangerous. It is not recommended to leave unattended children there as a single wave could knock them over and cause serious damage. Sand castles and shell searching on the shore is perfectly fine for the kids. The entertainment was not as numerous as other resort but it made up for it in quality. The mariachi band on Friday night was just top notch in terms of quality. Just awesome musicianship. Another stand out for me was the 'Fire Show' on Sunday night. How they can be so precise with flames mere centimetres away from their faces was just crazy. I'm leaving the most praise though for the staff. They were the ones that made all the difference. The cleaning staff was always there to keep the rooms and grounds spic and span. The bartenders were always on point. From a simple beer to the most exotic mixed cocktails they were there knocking it out o the park. The servers that would come to your chair at the pool and get a drink from the bar for you. The chefs and cooks that were prompt and flavourful. The concierge and bag men. It goes on and on. Top notch service from the second you get there to the second you leave. I saw some old boomer berating a bartender because they didn't have Coors Light at the one bar in particular. Don't be that guy. They are human beings too and they are busting their butts to serve you. Be respectful. For us personally though we had a rough time. On the fourth day of our trip our 7 year old daughter had a serious medical emergency during a wedding reception. The staff had her brought to an air conditioned room within a few minutes. The on-site doctor was in the room within 5 minutes to tend to her with emergency care and an ambulance was there within 15 minutes to take her to the hospital in Puerto Vallarta. The hospital is another issue entirely but when we returned to the resort the head concierge and one of his subordinates was there to welcome us back. They asked how she was and told her how brave she had been. They didn't have to do this at all but it made her and us feel like a million bucks and that we were cared about. When we got back to the room we found that they had left a Teddy Bear for my daughter with a personal message. This will not forgotten and made our trip just perfect after a serious scare. 10 stars out of 5. Bahia Mita was just the absolute best.

Amazing property, super friendly staff. All the food was delicious. The room is huge and super clean. I did the Adventure Course, WOW!

The worst experience in Mexico. The assigned concierge did not cancel a previously made spa appointment . The spa then charged us for the missed appointment. After several days of sharing the text thread that said the concierge would cancel they still would not cancel the charges. After two months of arguing with them and providing the text messages they still refuse to refund the charges. Upon check out our credit card was declined so we used a couple more and a friends who just checked out, still all declined. Finally he used a different machine and our friends credit card went thru. Upon returning back home one of our credit cards was charged so we paid double and we have been unable to recover the loss. Talk about getting screwed

We recently returned from a wonderful stay at Dreams Bahia Mita. As UVC members, we originally purchased our package with our children in mind, hoping to create lasting family travel memories. While our experiences at two previous Dreams resorts were not as positive, we’re glad we decided to give Bahia Mita a try—it met most of our expectations. The food and service were excellent, the water park was a fun bonus, and though the beach was small, it was very clean and enjoyable. The resort offered a variety of engaging activities, though the nightly entertainment could use some improvement.

Food was fantastic, large and full of endless pools, waiting staff and Zipline crews were very helpful and friendly But be ready to not be able to sit around the pools unless you pay extra, all the good spots for watching kids require reservation, Lots of entertainment and shows nightly, just once again if you want good seats at the dinner events prepare to pay more Big gym and large spa, surf was incredible little big for beginners but experienced surfers would love it Great splash park and lots of family pools and slides, but don't turn slides and park on until 11 am even though they say they are open at 8 Great pickle ball courts, kids zones and even a spot to drop off the little ones for the day

We had a wonderful week's holiday in this hotel resort, the two social conveners poolside, Wendy and Anna were exceptional. Friendly and always smiles on their faces. The crew of people that ran the zip line also made the experience very rewarding. They were very friendly and knowledgeable in their operation. Thank you very much to the zipline crew. Five stars for sure.

los pisos al rededor de las albercas son extremadamente resbalosos y peligrosos, la segmentación para dreams/secrets no es clara y pasas muchos disgustos siendo rechazado incluso en las areas "comunes" si dicen que todo el lado sur del hotel es dreams, el sports bar está en el lado sur y tampoco pueden entrar los niños. No es claro y pasas disgustos.

Huge property, so be prepared to walk a bit. Good food and a variety of pools to really relax. Service was excellent. Overall we loved it!

This is a wonderful all inclusive. The resort itself is beautiful and well maintained. The staff is so attentive and so kind, we felt so cared for. What stood out the most was the food! We have been to several all inclusive and this one by far had the best food. Sushi at Olio for lunch and Bordeaux for dinner were the standouts. But honestly everything was good. We were so surprised. We will definitely come here again. I loved that even though there were kids, it was predominantly a hotel geared toward adults. We loved it and highly recommend!

Second trip to this resort have stayed at both dreams and secrets. Love the separation of the kids from adults. Even during shared dinners. Children are very well behaved The 8th floor pool is the best pool. Service is outstanding. You can’t go wrong booking this resort

Great family vacation. We traveled with two kids (4 and 6) and they loved the kids club. Be aware that there is no food service at the pool. Facilities, rooms, entertainment and food were all great. Would recommend.

The views of the Pacific Ocean were amazing from the pools. The food was amazing, particularly the Italian and Mexican restaurants. The service was spectacular! Benco made sure we had beverages near the pool with excellent service. Enrique with the Entertainment Team was very friendly and had lots of great activities planned including yoga and volleyball on the beach.

Class Act. I look at my visit as an opportunity to practicar mi espanol cuando estoy en Mexico, pero everyone who works there speaks English, like it's their first language. Everyone is so friendly. This was comforting for my wife. Bahia Mita is beautiful and green.

Would not recommend this resort! I was very dissapointed in the taking of my Lysol. Who knows what else could have been taking from my room or others and they do not realize it.

Some parts of the hotel are beautiful, but others are definitely not. I’ve been to Los Cabos and Cancun many times and have stayed in several Dreams resorts before, but this was my first time in Puerto Vallarta. Unfortunately, the quality and standards here do not compare to those in Cancun or Los Cabos. The Secrets side of the resort was clearly much nicer than the Dreams side. Since I was traveling with a child, I wasn’t allowed in the Secrets area, which is understandable, but it was disappointing that all the entertainment, music, and fun activities were there. On the Dreams side, there was absolutely no entertainment — we could hear the music and laughter coming from the other side, but had nothing similar on ours. There were almost no activities for kids. My child doesn’t enjoy being stuck in the kids’ club and preferred to stay with us, but there was nothing to do besides the pool and slides. The area with the slides and water park was very dirty — the lounge chairs were filthy and covered with mold. The only clean seating areas were the cabanas you had to pay extra for. The hotel also lacked excursion options. The only ones offered were fishing, zip-lining, horseback riding, or golf — not much variety for families. Honestly, I couldn’t wait to get back home. This trip was more tiring than relaxing. The amount of walking required each day was exhausting — our room was extremely far from everything. To reach the buffet, pool, or beach, we had to take several elevators and stairs and still walk quite a distance. By the end of the trip, I came home more tired than when I left. This resort would be very difficult for someone with mobility issues or a handicap. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this hotel. It simply does not meet the quality or standards of other Dreams resorts I’ve experienced. I do not recommend it.

The rooms were luxurious and well-appointed, with stunning views and all the comforts we could have hoped for. The food and drink options throughout the resort were phenomenal, and there were plenty of activities for guests of all ages — from spa treatments to beachside lounging and everything in between. Choosing Dreams Bahia Mita for our wedding was the best decision we could have made. They didn’t just host our wedding — they helped us create memories that will last a lifetime. There was construction being done only feet away from our rooms front door at an adjacent condominium building. Understandable if construction would run during the day while we were at the different amenities but the hours were ridiculous. We would hear construction noise all night and stopping around 3am. Other than this everything was great.

I stayed at Dreams Bahia in Puerto Vallarta this past June for a friend’s wedding, and it was absolutely amazing! The staff went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly for the wedding group everyone was so accommodating, friendly, and attentive. From the check-in process to the wedding events, the service truly made the experience unforgettable.The resort itself is beautiful, with plenty of dining options, fun activities, and relaxing spaces. It was the perfect setting for a destination wedding and a getaway. The only thing to note is that June was very hot and humid, so definitely be prepared for the heat if you go around that time , lots of water and shade helped. Overall, I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Everything was well taken care of, and the memories made here will last a lifetime. Highly recommend this resort for weddings, celebrations, or just a vacation

El servicio del personal es malo, la playa es inaccesible, demasiadas rocas. Nos hicieron un cargo extra, por el desgaste de estar esperando nuestra habitación y lo tardado que fue el proceso de ingreso, no nos quedamos a aclarar lo del cargo extra, lo hicimos hasta el siguiente día, el reembolso tardo más de un mes en hacerse. El check in tardadisimo y después de la hora establecida.

The hotel has several areas that need improvement. The elevators near the restaurants do not have air conditioning, making them very hot and uncomfortable. Additionally, access to the breakfast area is limited to a single entrance without a ramp for strollers or wheelchairs, which is an accessibility issue. Overall, accessibility is poor for strollers or people with reduced mobility. During our stay, the buffet was closed for a private event, overcrowding the other restaurants and affecting the service. We were also surprised when the laundry service knocked on our door at 11 p.m., despite not having requested it. The wet floors are dangerous due to how slippery they are, both around the pool areas and in the bathroom floors of the rooms. Furthermore, the valet parking leaves vehicles outdoors, which is not ideal. In general, there are many aspects to improve in order to be considered a luxury hotel.

I enjoyed overall my stay the beach is beautiful, the food was OK , however the alcohol was watered down we didn’t even taste the alcohol. I got sick second day of my stay due to the tap water that was mixed in the alcohol even though I had bottled water everywhere they didn’t notify us there was tap water mixed in the alcohol. Also we found a bug on our pillow after cleaning crew serviced our room. We threw the pillow on the floor without reporting to front desk and the next day same pillow was placed back on top of our bed when the room was serviced again. I would rate cleanliness as overal hotel 5/10.
