The tv location was a hazard. We understand the room was really narrow but still that was an unsafe location. The room cups and teaspoons were unclean, very dusty. The sofa looks and feels dirty as well. I was expecting hotel slippers but I guess that’s not common in NZ. For breakfast, the restaurant has very limited and simple food options and the same were served during our stay. The utensils were placed in the table without any cover so they are contaminated, and there was no alternative so we had to choose even dirty.

This has been my 3rd time staying with mercure , literally my fave place to stay at the beds are comfortable the views are always nice and especially the stuff so kind and helpful

The room was comfortable, the breakfast was tasty. There was a hairdryer.

No one came to make the bed, only cleared out the rubbish bins. There was 1 pair of slippers instead of 2.

There was a locked door between my room and the neighbouring room but there was a gap beneath which meant there was little to no soundproofing between our rooms and we could hear every word. Bathroom door was also sliding and so no soundproofing and limited privacy to the rest of the room. I dont think these feature are in every room, perhaps just in this room that was designed to be accessible

Breakfast very basic. Often running out of things. Hit and cold but wouldn’t recommend. Head up to K road for something amazing for the same price.

Soap, shampoo, conditioner containers empty and not refilled. Was offered free coffees to compensate at we checked out. Dust bunnies in all the corners. No views.

So worn down, little things like couch had massive stain on it, glasses weren’t washed properly, we asked for the room to be cleaned whilst we were out and the room was exactly like before, except they made a messy effort to tuck the sheets back and put back a few pillows, if your gonna stay here make sure it’s a last resort definitely not 4 stars

Staff were friendly and very helpful. Located right in Auckland City on Queen Street close to Aotea Square, Movie Theatre and within walking distance to Wharf and Shopping Malls (Westfield and Commercial Bay). Public transport nearby the hotel also if not wanting to walk. We ate at the Lonestar restaurant connected directly to hotel which was great. Also tried out Fat Pukus burger, tacos and cocktails (just around the corner from hotel) 2min walk - highly recommend! Hotel is beautiful, rooms were beautiful, comfy & clean.

Not many views from our room - but loved the balcony and comfort of room. Shower products didnt like (sorry). Smelt weird to me but it's personal preference so yeah.

The room was really nice. Especially the bathroom. Made the most of a small space. The location worked well for me as I had an event at the Cordis Hotel around the corner.

The gym was not available - under maintenance- and that should have been made clear when I booked. It’s important to me to have a gym on site even a small one. Whilst I was offered access to a gym at another hotel that was an 18 minute walk each way or an Uber ride (which I was offered) but that’s just not convenient. Be transparent about what facilities are not available.

Love the convenience of the neighbouring restaurant. Rooms were clean. Staff were very helpful especially with our parking. We parked in car park 2 where you need staff to bring you in and out of this parking lot. But never had an issue with having someone available.

Très bon emplacement en centre ville à côté du restaurant Lone Star qui est de qualité et qui sert aussi de salle de petit déjeuner (très bon!) à l’hôtel.
