It is above a railway station so the occasional train engine horn is heard late in the night or early in the morning. Also it is not very central if you wish to venture out on foot. Need a car to go anywhere nearby

I had a deeply disappointing experience at The Leela Gandhinagar, and it fell far below the standards expected from a luxury hotel. At around 5:00 a.m., water started leaking from the AC in my room, creating a serious safety hazard. The floor became wet, and I nearly slipped. Instead of being able to rest, I was asked to relocate immediately. Two male staff members came to my room in the middle of the night while I had to hurriedly pack all my belongings to shift to another room. As a solo female guest, this made me feel extremely uncomfortable and unsafe. Unfortunately, the inconvenience did not end there. The replacement room also had a maintenance issue. I had to call the front desk again, after which an electrician was sent. At 5:00 a.m., furniture was being moved around inside my room while repairs were being carried out. By then, any chance of getting proper sleep was gone, and the entire ordeal ruined my night and affected my entire day. The next morning, I spoke with the General Manager, Mr. Sood, and explained everything that had happened. I told him I would wait to see how the hotel handled the situation before forming my final opinion. However, there was no meaningful follow-up or effort to make up for such a distressing experience. To make matters worse, the Duty Manager, Ms. Anshika Pundir, spoke to me in a rude, dismissive, and unprofessional manner when I raised my concerns. Instead of showing empathy or taking ownership of the situation, I felt my concerns were brushed aside. A luxury hotel is judged not only by its facilities but also by how it handles unexpected situations. Sadly, this experience reflected poor maintenance, inadequate guest care, and a lack of professionalism. I sincerely hope the management reviews its safety protocols, staff training, and customer service standards so that no other guest has to go through a similar experience.

I really liked room cleanliness and hospitality during my stay. I met with Mr.Amar Kumar, Housekeeping Manager, who was very helpful throughout my stay. He assisted me a lot and also gave me a hotel tour, including showing me the storage areas. I appreciated his support and hospitality very much.

We were delighted to be allotted a beautifully appointed room with what felt like one of the best views in Gandhinagar. Waking up to the breathtaking cityscape and lush surroundings made our stay even more memorable. The room was spacious, impeccably maintained, and equipped with every comfort needed for a relaxing getaway. One of the highlights of our visit was spending time at the stunning infinity pool. It was an incredibly refreshing experience and one of the most enjoyable parts of our stay. The breakfast spread deserves special appreciation. It was lavish, thoughtfully curated, and offered an impressive variety of Indian and international delicacies. From freshly prepared live counters and authentic local specialties to an assortment of fresh fruits, pastries, juices, and gourmet options, every dish was delicious and beautifully presented. This was probably or favourite hotel on our trip to India. We received a warm and friendly welcome and first impressions of the lobby were grand, impressive and calming. Our room was well equipped and of a suitable standard of such a luxury hotel. We didn't have dinner but had some light snacks and drinks in the tea room which were very nice, and the surroundings and service were lovely. We really enjoyed the professional raas garba performance in the lobby and joined in too....as it's all part of Gujerati culture! Breakfast was the highlight of the stay with soothing live music, live cooking of all your favourite Gujerati dishes and usual international breakfast cuisines. The food was an absolute treat and so delicious, the service from all the staff was outstanding and showcased the best of Indian hospitality!

You genuinely made our stay more special. You were always helpful, attentive, and made sure everything was handled so nicely that we never had to worry about anything. Breakfast was also one of the highlights of our stay great variety, delicious food, and a perfect way to start the day. I wanted to give my wife surprise on our anniversary. But Bharat and Veena made us both surprise. The courteous way by her made more pleasant to us. Our evening was great by her smiling way and even greeted her like our daughter to reach heights in career.

Attentiveness of the staff at front desk. Attention to detail is missing. Documentation scanning is pathetic. Some international exposure should be given to staff. To much layers in bureaucracy. Managers only pop up when something goes wrong with gifts and lip service. It should show in how you handle the requests from guests in first place.

Our stay at The Leela Gandhinagar was absolutely exceptional. The property is magnificent, maintaining the highest standards of luxury and offering every amenity you could possibly need. The views and overall ambiance of the hotel are spectacular, setting the perfect backdrop for a relaxing getaway. We especially enjoyed the huge pool, which was an absolute highlight for us. A very special mention must go to Ms. Nikita, who went above and beyond to make our stay extra special. We stayed at The Leela Gandhinagar with our family in March and it was an absolutely wonderful experience from start to finish. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel genuinely welcomed. The breakfast spread was generous and varied, with something to please every palate — our little one was particularly happy, which always makes things easier! Great service by Ms. Sayani Dey who received us during checkin. Although there was crazy rush and rooms were not ready, Ms. Dey took great care and ensured we were comfortable. She also ensured that the rooms were comfortable and as per our requirement - adjoining!! Thank you Ms. Dey for your warmth and hospitality which is Leela's USP! Thank you Ms. Sreeparna Manna for the smooth check-out process and your overall support and ensuring we were well taken care off throughout the stay. We recently had the pleasure of staying at The Leela Gandhinagar with our family — myself, my wife Farhana, and our two sons Daniyal and Khizar — and it turned out to be one of the most memorable hotel experiences we have ever had. From the very moment we entered the hotel, everything felt absolutely premium and welcoming. The check-in process was extremely smooth and professional, the reception area was stunningly beautiful, and the welcome drink was refreshing and delicious. Every staff member greeted us with warmth, positivity, and genuine hospitality. We were allotted a beautiful Horizontal View Room on the 6th floor, and the room truly exceeded our expectations in terms of comfort, cleanliness, luxury, and view. Every small detail reflected the class and standards of The Leela. The real highlight — the crown jewel of this property — is undoubtedly the breathtaking Infinity View Swimming Pool. Our children, Daniyal and Khizar, had an amazing time there and created memories they will cherish for a long time. The poolside staff was incredibly supportive, attentive, and caring throughout. The dinner as well as breakfast experience at the restaurant was equally wonderful. Every dish was delicious, fresh, and perfectly prepared. The restaurant staff worked tirelessly with smiling faces and ensured every guest felt special and comfortable. I would also especially like to appreciate the housekeeping, sweeper staff, and back-office staff of the hotel. Many times, guests only notice the front-end service, but the real strength of a luxury hotel lies in the hardworking people behind the scenes. The hotel was ok. Used the gym which was relatively small. Had a rough start with the hotel but then spoke with the manager Anshul Sharma, who tried his best to accommodate our request. Overall stay was good and staff was friendly. After the manager informed the staff, they were definitely attentive.

The rooms are relatively small compared to what I am used to. Had to get the room upgraded with a better view.

We attended Diya-Leela to celebrate anniversary. The Leela team made it special for us. Excellent hospitality and taste. They also provided complimentary cake for celebration . It was one of the most memorable experience for us.

To be honest, not worth a 5 star rating. Very nominal options, food repetitions for breakfast, pool dirty with bird poops all around, Room very poor. The bathroom basin had all open wires under neath it which was very risky. The room table was full of dirt underneath. The room furniture had dust deposit. Cushions smelling bad .Cleaning was not proper, wires were open. Pillow and mattress was not comfortable at all. Over all not a good stay. It was just that we were too busy with our schedules so did not bother the staff or else it would have been a tough time for them. Needs a lot of improvement to have 5 star stay. We have to again come down to Gandhinagar in June but now we prefer not to continue though our nearest hotel would have been The Leela Gandhinagar. Sorry, but disappointing stay. The room, cushions, un-covered wires, dust, pillow, food, Pool, the cooling effect, not enough space for luggage. Overall not to be rated as 5 star. As services were equivalent to 3 star. Went here for the staycation the hospitality is top notch, the staff is super polite, they have helped us to nevigate few things, Nikita and Yashika this both girls guided us really well although whole staff was very helpful the food was top notch too

Fantastic staff. Would like to point out Nikita who went beyond her job role and helped us through her phone to book a cab. I found this very satisfying, and additionally she did take time to talk.

Breakfast was a cavalcade of tastes and delights from your chef. It was lovely for him to come and introduce himself. I loved the mix of local, indian, fusion and western food. The stations were well signposted and laid out. The fresh fruit and drinks were so juicy. The waiters and waitresses were attentive and a particular mention to Somu.

i dont think i could improve on it as everything was so good. perhaps the coffee could have been better one day but i did arrive late so it was probably the bottom of teh pot.

A special thanks to our servers, Banti and Prabhakar, who were extremely polite, respectful, and attentive throughout our visit. Their warm hospitality and great service made our experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommend this place for both the food and the excellent service!
