Convenient to the highway for an overnight stay. Close to restaurants.

The mattress room 215 needs to be replaced. It has dips where people usually lie. It was too soft. It was not comfortable. The blackout curtains were mostly helpful, but at the top of the window, the colored uplights on the front of the building were shining into the room.

Top floor bar/restaurant excellent. Clean rooms. I can’t think of anything to complain about. This is my go to pit stop going too and from NY.

Absolutely beautiful location, clean and trendy hotel rooms and amenities were exactly what we needed when traveling. The rooms were spacious enough for our family of 5, and we loved the breakfast and dining areas were relaxing with mountain views :) We will be staying here every time we travel through VA!

Clean and quiet.

Everything was great but one thing that stood out the most was how quiet the rooms were. There is a heavy door to block out sounds from the hallway. There was a full parking lot and we didn't hear any outside sounds. Black out shades and having 12 checkout time was excellent.

Very minor but wish the breakfast went until 10 and not 9.

The outside facilities were nice. Fireplace, gym and parking.

The fact that we had to go to different floors to use the microwave was a hassle. The breakfast was not great.

I loved the location. The room was clean and quiet.

They only provided enough towels for 2 of us. There were 4 of us. We called down and they only gave us enough for one day. The cleaners didn’t come to our floor until we were coming back to get ready for dinner after 3:00. Our room wasn’t cleaned as a result.

It was perfect for an overnight stop. It was clean, staff friendly and breakfast was nice.

There was a barvin the hotel that left parking undesirable.

Breakfast was great, and our dinner at the Ridge Roof restaurant was delicious. My kids loved the pool. The hotel was very stylish, and the room was large and comfortable.

Service was a bit slow, and could have been friendlier. The front desk wasn’t always staffed.

Excellent room. Able to have a burger at the first floor bar and watch FIFA when it was raining outside. We usually eat out at hotels like this.

One end of the building was blocked off for a 5th floor restaurant elevator. It was a long walk outside from parking over there, in the rain.

Very good hotel for the price and location. Parking is a little tight. They have two restaurants on site, which I thought was rare for a hotel this size. Coffee is available 24 hours a day. Nice breakfast seating with outside seating. Front of hotel overlooks the Blue Ridge skyline. Room was very clean. Real eggs at breakfast, along with wheat toast (in addition to plan bagels and white toast). Good fruit selection and juices. Overall a good experience on our way from Atlanta to NY.

The location is great, the staff was exceptional, and the room and views of the mountains are amazing, I would stay there again definitely.

We stayed three nights at this hotel. The hotel is fairly new to the area and is very nice throughout. It has an indoor pool, a spacious outdoor patio with a fireplace, and plenty of social areas indoors to visit with family and friends. When you check in, they do not tell you that housekeeping is every other day. Well, it is “supposed” to be every other day. We never received it for the three nights we were there. We called twice to complain and the front desk offered to give us towels and other supplies. So we were going downstairs for towels, coffee packs, tissue, toilet paper, etc. Dirty towels piling up and trash cans filling up in the room. This is a management issue. The front desk clerk should not be the person running down the long hall to get towels and supplies for guests, while trying to check other guests in. Let’s move to the food. The Hyatt Place is usually known for their nice breakfast buffet. The layout was really nice, the room had a great feel to it and there were plenty of tables. Unfortunately, the eggs, sausage, and potatoes do not stay hot or even warm while on the buffet. We got to the buffet at 7:15am (they opened at 7) and the food was cold. Again, a management issue. The staff downstairs is really nice and trying to do the best they can. It’s a shame that many guests will not return to such a beautiful hotel due to the lack of operational oversight.

First of all the room was absolutely huge. It had two queen beds and a comfortable sitting area. I can’t praise enough the people who help set up the breakfast buffet. They were continually checking to make sure there was fresh coffee and food. There was only one thing that confused me and it was that they don’t clean your room or give you fresh linens unless you ask for them. I’ve seen that in other venues, but there’s usually a sign that indicates it. However, when we brought to the attention that we really did need fresh towels, they took care of it right away. We will return we like this place so much.

I mentioned it above they should put a placard in the room, saying if you want your room attended to you must ask us. Also, we did run out of Kleenex only a little thing but it’s something that I think could’ve been checked. We do leave a very substantial tip daily.

Perfect location and very clean

This must be our 12th time staying here. It’s our halfway mark on the way to see family in Buffalo. The hotel is beautiful and always reliable, with rooms that are extremely clean. We stayed at a Hyatt House in Ft Lauderdale in December, and their sofas were old and sagging, and other things showed wear. Not this one. The couch is still firm, maybe recently replaced? Beds are comfortable, we get the cold sleeping temperature we like, and the shower stall is wonderfully roomy. One extra is that we can Comcast to the TV, and watch our Netflix or Prime series. Breakfasts are rather weak; with food rather dull and often cold. Only one negative.

We had an emergency and this hotel made the emergency that was horrible feel not so bad. Thankyou for the beautiful hotel

We were traveling from Florida to Connecticut trailing our large boat. It was difficult to find a place that had parking for us. We had a few choices but the Hyatt Place ended up being the absolute best. There was plenty of room for several people trailing whatever. Well lit and we could see it from our room. The price on a Saturday night was extremely fair but it was post college season. Very comfortable beds and pillows. Very clean and the tavern upstairs was great. Staff very friendly and breakfast was great. We will definitely put this hotel on our list of favorites.

Stop on my way to Bristol. Spotless hotel, appears newer, comfortable rooms and a great stop because you have everything you could need very close by!

A wonderful experience in every way. New, clean, helpful staff. So many amenities which anticipated the needs and comforts for a traveller. I felt safe, cared for and welcomed to take advantage of all of the different spaces available outside of my room. Also a great value.

We have stayed at The Hyatt Place in Harrisonburg so many times on our way to and from Fla. We absolutely love it. We are always treated very well and we appreciate the wonderful breakfast! Thank you to all! Sheila , Rafael and our two wonderful pups ( Patriot & Winnie)

Do you think there could be more trash cans (or larger ones) placed in the rooms? Its not that we didnt like it, but we really like to leave the room as tidy as possible when we check out!!!!!!!!!

The hotel was great, had a good vibe. The pool area and gym were well taken care of.

I didn't like the fact I booked a mountain view room, and paid extra for that. And I ended up on the backside of the hotel facing another hotel. My room was above the fire pit outdoor area and it got load at night.

This is a seriously modern and well planned hotel. The best and attractive use is made of every space. They've thought of everything before you did. Modern cheerful design. Design worthy of a higher class hotel. Lovely restaurant on the top floor with very tempting food. Helpful and pleasant staff. I was ready to give it 5 stars until I had breakfast. Sad white bread or inauthentic bagel for bread. Toaster is on long term hiatus. Eggs cold. Potatoes over salted. Sausage under cooked. Only pastry is plain donut holes -- no sweetness whatsoever. Waffles soggy. However dishes and silverware elegant like the rest of the hotel.

Clean and welcoming. But my reservation was for a King size bed because thats what we have at home. The room given to us looked like a Queen size. I asked the reception staff and they said their beds have weird sizes. Smaller than the actual king size. I paid for a King.

Breakfast quality is poor Rooms were good Mountain view was true but also you will see shopping mall with Home Depot, Walmart and Lowes.

The hotel is in a convenient location with lots of stores and restaurants around. The atmosphere was nice. Rooms were clean and large. There is also a large area next to the hotel for walking pets.

We came here overnight before a JMU tour. We got two rooms. Didn’t even request adjacent bc it was so last minute but they did it for us without asking! Rooms were clean, very nice and perfect. My three teens each got their own bed (two queen room with sofa bed)! Breakfast included was great. We had a couple of cocktails on the rooftop bar before bed and it was so lovely. Our server, Jake, recommended an amazing cocktail! Definitely will be back!

The breakfast was terrible. All the hot food was cold. Eggs smelled like fish. Bagels were old. The room was extremely dirty, dirt was everywhere and everything was dusty. No toiletries were provided at all.
