Evening music on Saturday was fantastic, and it had a nice gym, the decor in the lobby area was very nice, but the rooms felt a bit dated.

One weight machine was broken, and the room was comfortable, but dusty and a bit dirty. Someone else’s hair clinged to wall of the shower, as if someone used a towel to dry it. There was some mold along the shower door floor. The stove area in the kitchenette was greasy and had bits of food remnants. Breakfast buffet seemed expensive and the food was just okay, we arrived around 10, but items like bowls and bagels were in low supply or not available. The overall buffet area was unappealing because it needed tidying and restocking. A bit of an ick factor when touching serving dishes, coffee urns, and utensils. The room was dark and poorly lit like they weren’t open for business, although nice music was playing.

We have stayed before, I am not sure if it was out of season, but the room wasnt as clean and nice as it was in the past.

Everything worked perfectly for me and my son. We arrived almost 2 and a half hours early and they let us check in! The room was very clean, had a fresh smell and was comfortable.

I thought the pillows were the only uncomfortable part, too hard and bulky. I prefer feather soft pillows. Tossed and turned a bit before i finally fell asleep after midnight.

Need to get on board with today's technology and get smart tvs. Also we experienced a lot of mechanical noise on the 7th floor.

The foyer was nice and stylish, the room was spacious, it was useful to have access to a washer and dryer in a useful location (opposite the gym on floor 2) Useful access to a computer

The staff didn't seem friendly from checking in. The kitchen didn't have bowls to use, and very minimal plates and cups. The bed was really uncomfortable. There wasn't a hairdryer in the room even though it advertised there was. The TV was advertised as a smart TV, but wasn't ( i was staying here as a stop gap while travelling with a friend who lived close by so was in my room a lot) Not much access to food in the hotel. Really disappointing stay considering it was a newly built hotel, it didn't seem to have the amenities it should have. The only reason I marked up was because someone on reception loaned me a charger as the rooms didn't have those sockets that have a C charger built in like most places do these days.

They canceled by reservation and when I called to ask why I was left on voicemail with no return phonecall or message/email back.

Convenient location on the grounds of the university and walking distance to downtown. Clean room and friendly staff. The lady who played the piano was excellent.

The bar was not open every night, would like the foyer bar open as well.

Love everything .

The hotel was super convenient to James Madison University, which is where we spent our day. They were also very accommodating and letting us keep our car in the parking garage for no additional fee while we attended orientation.

The bin my room was not working properly. The sound and picture were distorted. Some channels didn’t even show the show.

Service from the moment we walked in the door to check-in. The rates were affordable and not overly overpriced. We thoroughly enjoyed the close proximity to JMU campus for events. Fabulous and will return!

Beds could use some mattress toppers that create a more enjoyable sleep. Pillows were great!

The building was beautiful, location ideal for our event, the staff (and manager) went above and beyond to assist me and there was an amazing smell on the stairs going up to the second floor. I loved it.

The hotel was absolutely beautiful inside. As soon as we walked in someone was singing next to the bar and it was a nice touch to checking in. The hotel was very secure and safe. The room was amazing! The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was so nice. Staff were friendly and helpful. We left early so we skipped breakfast but im sure it was good based on the rest of our stay. They also had a couple of restaurants on site so you wouldn’t really have to leave if you didn’t want to! If we weren’t just passing through we would have stayed a few more days.

The room was so quiet you couldn’t even hear the air conditioning unit. To others I know that’s probably a great thing but I do prefer a little noise in the background.

The location can't be beat, and the building is upscale. Every employee we dealt with was friendly and helpful, and the rooms were clean.

The beds and pillows weren't very comfortable, and the bathroom had a barn style door, which literally nobody wants in a hotel room. In addition to hearing every neighbor open and close the door to their room, you can also hear every time they slide the bathroom door and fumble with the stupid metal hook that holds the bathroom doors closed. Also, they advertised a breakfast buffet at their restaurant, but didn't have one the morning we were there. We were forced to eat rubbery, microwaved egg sandwiches from their cafe.

The staff here went above and beyond. Someone in our group had a medical emergency in the lobby and they handled matters like pros. Made a difficult situation much easier to navigate and even helped find a diamond that had fallen out of a wedding ring during the medical emergency. I would definitely stay here again.

The location was great. Easy to walk to downtown and to explore James Madison campus if wanted.

We’ve been all around the world at hotels and this was truly EXCELLENT! The location is cute and safe - right near JMU so good college vibes. The hotel is chasm and airy and - it’s smells wonderful! The staff is eager to please. We had a bunch of stuff we needed to store and they handled it like a first-class majordomo. Highly reccommend!

Clean, comfortable and friendly staff. This is a great central location with convenient parking. Will definitely stay here again when we’re in town.
