GOOD 9 HOTEL - Cahaya Kota Puteri

Helpful staffs. Spacious room and bathroom. Walking distance to eatery places. Clean.

Noise from the nearby main roads. WiFi very bad. Towel stained.

Location and aircond.

Firstly, it took almost 30 minutes to settle just one customer during check-in. It was a Malay uncle wearing glasses, and he served poorly. We assume he might have been stressed due to work pressure because he didn’t smile and didn’t apologize for making us wait while attending to the previous customer. Or maybe, since he sees us as young and possibly unmarried, and because we are Malay, he might think we’re doing something wrong. Secondly, the room was so-so. There were a few stains on the bed sheets, which you can refer to in the photos. The management should come down to check the hotel. The walls also had stains. When we were lying down, our bodies started to itch everywhere. We’re not sure when the bed sheets and pillowcases were last changed. We stayed for two nights. On the second day, we asked them to clean our room, but they only took out the rubbish, changed the towels, topped up mineral water, and swept. The bed sheets and pillowcases were still the same as the previous day. The cleanliness was very poor. Thirdly, at check-out, a lady attended to us. Maybe we checked out a bit early, around 10:30 AM, but her facial expressions seemed double-edged. Overall, guys, think carefully before choosing to stay here.

Affordable price

The smell of the room..

No at all

1)Bedsheet dirty 2) staff no friendly and rude 3) air conditioners got weird smell

Toilet was clean and had a comfortable sleep.

The lights are burning, the room has an unpleasant smell, the bathroom floor is slimy. Overall it's really uncomfortable.

The bed sheets and pillow covers were stained.Room condition was really bad where the walls has stains everywhere. One particular one looked like someone splashed something nasty on the wall. The bath towel were also yellowish. Very disappointing stay. I highly doubt how it got a 9 rating on his platform !

Friendly staff. Confirmed with occupant before letting visitors to the premise.

Fixed parking should be alloted for occupant coz some occupant are not local.

Clean room, comfortable bed, spacious bathroom, aircond and television working well.

Quite small, need to request iron.

Near to movie theatre

Great value close to great restaurants. Would definitely stay again.

Had a peaceful stay. Room is spacious and bathroom clean.

The hotel is clean and well maintained

the toilet so beautiful. hahaha. i like it.

Location was pretty decent, not the most prime area but not too far from town. Pretty bright and lively, felt safe. Room was quite clean, condition is pretty good, seemed like newly renovated. Staff was amazing, greeted us and talked to us very politely. Even assisted to retrieve some money that we accidentally left under the mattress, very helpful.

Sound isolation is pretty bad as we could hear everything the opposite room was saying. One of the lifts was kinda shaky, felt unsafe.

Decent hotel

The receptionist quite arrogant. I was not aware about the deposit. So, when i suggested that maybe it will be helpful if it is stated in the apps and she was defensive and sounded arrogant. But it’s fine. Everything was above average🙌

The room is new and clean. Room and toilet are big.

Good

Nothing

Clean and new

Ironing done outside the room

Value for money. (Deluxe twin room not so spacious. The beds can’t merge. )

The room is spacious like the photo shown. Some good and bad, but for the price, it is worth it.

Not smart TV for the children and no freezer! The location abit far from the crowd and city, so we have to plan accordingly on the transport where u want to go. The soundproof was bad as we could hear outside vehicles' noise and voice from the next room.

Staff really nice and good. Easy to communicate with them if we have a problem.

Don't have enough privacy. Can hear next room.

Solid value for money. There are parking spaces right in front of the hotel with CCTV coverage so I felt safe leaving my care there.

Walls are a bit thin.

They have Coway water dispenser and that's great for a business traveller like me. The room is spacious enough. Wifi signal considered as good

The white pillow looks yellowish, maybe it's time to change a new one instead of just washing it.

Cleanliness.

The room smelled like cigarette. Maybe the last patron before us smoked inside the room.

Bed sheet have stain, floor is not clean when I checked in

Overall the hotel is nicely maintain, room looks clean as well. The only thing that bothered me is that my room did not come with a window. They should have indicated that in the description.

NO WINDOWS IN ROOM.

A cozy stay at Good 9 Hotel. Basic amenities, comfortable rooms, and friendly service. Good value for a simple accommodation option.

Clean room, good amenities, friendly staff, ample parking space, easy accessibility to city centre and value for money.

a week before, i went to same hotel they accept QR as mode of payment for deposit. this week, i have to argue with the front desk and urge them to accept QR as well. They insisted on cash but finally I managed to convince them. Who do business in cash nowadays

Awesome! Simple, clean, nearby lots of eating places... Will definitely stay there again!
