New World Phu Quoc Resort

The upgraded villa was absolutely beautiful and completely changed our stay. The resort grounds were stunning, the breakfast buffet was great and we appreciated management ultimately resolving our original villa issue with a complimentary upgrade.

For the price, the overall experience was surprisingly underwhelming. Our original Garden Pool Villa had the bedroom and living/kitchen areas in separate buildings, requiring us to go outside and unlock another building just to move between them. During heavy rain and thunderstorms this was extremely impractical. This configuration had not been made clear to us when booking. After raising the issue more than once, management eventually moved us to a beautiful interconnected villa for the remaining three nights, which was a huge improvement. Dining options were also disappointing for a resort of this size and price. Dinner choices were very limited. We tried both the Italian and Indian restaurants and neither meal matched the standard we expected from a luxury resort. Accessing nearby restaurants was unnecessarily difficult despite several being visible just beyond the property. The spa was another disappointment. Hairstyling/updo was advertised on the menu, so I travelled across the large resort by buggy specifically to have my hair styled. On arrival I was told they no longer had a stylist or even styling tools and the service should have been removed from the menu. I left with wet, frizzy hair and wasted time during a short stay. The replacement villa was fantastic, but without that upgrade our experience would have been extremely disappointing considering the price we paid.

Very nice resort, friendly staff. At time we reached was too much crowded in lobby and we wait and complete our check in. But because we reach before check in time by 2 hours or less.they refuse to give us villa keys till check in time when we came back again we line in queue to receive our keys and as I said it was too much crowded so we wait again for long time and this is not accepted from 5 stars resort . Also there is limited halal food food.

Een fantastische ervaring! Dit was zonder twijfel de mooiste én beste villa die we tot nu toe hebben gehad, en bovendien de goedkoopste. Een ruime villa met drie slaapkamers, een privézwembad, een aparte living en keuken – echt geweldig. Ook het resort zelf is prachtig, met de handige buggyservice en vooral ontzettend vriendelijk, behulpzaam en gastvrij personeel. Tot nu toe is The New World Phu Quoc absoluut het mooiste resort waar we ooit zijn geweest!

Als ik dan toch één klein minpuntje moet noemen, zou het het waterpretpark voor de kinderen zijn. Op de foto’s leek het wat groter en uitgebreider dan het in werkelijkheid was, waardoor de glijbanen en attracties iets kleiner uitvielen dan verwacht.

The beach, the sea, the pools, the workers, the service, the aquapark.

It’s a very, very, very large complex. Sometimes you have to wait long (10-15 minutes) for a buggy. But the people do their extreme best to make you have a pleasant stay. Also at night it’s not lively, i think because the restaurants are very pricey (the food was very good though) and that the people rather go eat outside then complex.

- 3-Bedroom Villa: Clean, spacious, and features a fantastic private swimming pool. - The kids thoroughly enjoyed the water park, the 2 complimentary hours of bicycle riding, and the bowling alley. - Receiving complimentary tickets to the Kiss of the Sea show was a lovely addition to our stay. -The buggy shuttle service was remarkably fast and efficient whenever we requested a ride. -The food quality was very good, though expanding the menu would make it even better. - the hotel staff are very friendly

As Muslim guests, we would love to see more halal options adde or imported US or Australian beef for burgers and steaks.for in room dining

مشرف الاستقبال لتسجيل الدخول عنصري واضح عليه عدم قبول السياح العرب و المسلمين من طريقه كلامه و افعاله غاضب و منفعل بدون اي سبب مما جعل وقت الانتظار طويل للدخول مع العلم ان الحجز مؤكد و مدفوع بالكامل قبل الوصول و الفيلا المختاره من المشرف كانت سيئه في اسوء موقع في المنتجع اسفل الفلل بعيده جدا و كثيره الحشرات من سحالي و حلزونات و نمل داخل الفيلا و اصوات مزعجه خاصه في الليل و الاكل الحلال في بوفيه الافطار لا يوجد اهتمام للعرب و المسلمين في وجبات الافطار الحلال .

Amazing facilities, great beach access, lovely beach too, superb pools, great kids room, an awesome little water park, then a great indoor area for adults. The resort was modern, green, clean... so really good in that regard.

It is gigantic. You need, especially in the heat, to get buggys around, which can take time. It was very crowded whilst we were there, due to a large corporate event, which meant that breakfast felt like a melee, getting a pool lounger super tough... so it suffers due to its size. It is a giant machine of a resort. It is also a little away from the core of the island. You have this weird mock parisian ghost town on its doorstep, which is super strange and largely empty. Also "Sunset Town", which is also a manufactured tourist spot... so not much authenticity around it.

Oh my goodness, the resort is so lush and beautiful, well-manicured and clean. The staff is lovely and friendly, and as a black female solo traveler, I felt so welcome and safe. For a large resort, the management and the entire staff are doing a wonderful job in providing top-notch, quick, and reliable services. I ate at Bay Kitchen and Coco Beach restaurant during my stay here, and the meals were tasty, including the mouthwatering cocktails. Linh provided excellent support the day I went to tour Sunset Town; before leaving the resort, she guided me on how to navigate the town and how to get back to the resort - such a calm, jovial lady.

Breakfast is nice. Waiters waitress are very helpful. Especially the staff at CoCo. And the lady senior staff at Zoya, forgot the name, but she has very good English and sincere hospitality. Patiently explaining the menu and puts up her recommendations. Also the lifeguards are really doing their professional job both in the water world and on the beach.

Without my friend at the pool Kiet we would not have had as good a time. He's the best!! If you come to New World make sure you go to water park and say hi to him - number 1

We went to the hotel’s waterpark as we were staying close by. The food tasted really good at Coco Beach House. By far the best food we’ve had the n two weeks. The service was equally good. Hiep helped order the food and picked some great dishes. And, my son had great fun with Thanh, one of the lifeguard at the waterpark! Great food. Great fun!

The experience was pretty amazing. From the service to the staff to the facilities, everything was phenomenal. For a family of 14 people, this trip was amazing. Special regards to Linh trang who helped us in more ways than I can count. Thank you everyone.

I stayed at New World Phu Quoc Resort for a few days and honestly it exceeded my expectations Villa rộng, sạch sẽ, private pool mình thấy đc vệ sinh kỹ và không gian khá yên tĩnh, waking up every morning with the tropical view was such a relaxing trip. Breakfast was delicious also Shout out to trainee Jeremy for being really supportive and pretty, alth she was only supporting us with information and recommendations, but she was really approachable, patient, and willing to answer all of our questions. Jeremy made us feel genuinely welcomed!

오션뷰 숙소의 최고 좋은 점은 조식당과 수영장, 해변 등 리조트의 모든 시설을 모두 걸어서 갈 수 있는 최적의 위치에 있다는 점이다. 아침해를 맞으며 해변을 걸을 수도, 자전거를 타러 가기, 슬슬 걸어서 3분이면 닿는 조식당, 뒷문으로 나가면 바로 나오는 수영장까지. 최고의 위치였다. 한 건물 안에 룸이 4개까지 있어서 대가족이 묵기에도 아주 좋은 조건. 해변도 깨끗하게 관리되어 있고, 무료 카약과 패들보트까지 재밌게 즐길 수 있었다. 미니 워터파크를 즐길 수 있었다. 생각보다 잘 만들어져 재밌었음. 해변에서는 아주 가끔이지만, 손톱만한 소라게도 잡을 수 있었고, 게도 있었다. 낮은 해변이 넓게 펼쳐져 있어서 아이들이 놀기에도 좋았다.

리조트 밖 식당도 변변찮은데, 리조트 내 식당도 선택의 폭이 너무 적다는 점. 조식메뉴가 거의 동일하고 퀄리티가 생각보다는 떨어진다는 점. 굳이 조식메뉴에 세계요리가 나올 필요가 있을까 싶었다. 그래도 메인풀 옆 lua는 정말 최고의 식당이었음. 모든 메뉴가 다 맛있음.

Choosing New World Phu Quoc for our vacation was absolutely the right decision. The scenery is beautiful, the service is excellent, and all the staff are friendly and welcoming. This was our family’s first trip to Phu Quoc, and also our first stay at New World Phu Quoc Resort. We had such a wonderful experience from the moment we arrived until the day we checked out. The resort is beautiful, the rooms are spacious, clean, and very comfortable. What truly made our stay special, however, was the outstanding hospitality from the staff. Everyone was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help. We would especially like to thank Nhật Hạ, who checked us in. She was so kind and thoughtful, recommending delicious local restaurants and introducing us to the best attractions around Phu Quoc. Since it was our first time visiting the island, her recommendations helped us make the most of our trip. A special thank you also goes to Trọng ,the lifeguard at the resort’s beach. He was so warm and helpful, taking the time to help our family capture beautiful photos together. He never hesitated to help us find the best angles and patiently took multiple pictures so we could have wonderful memories to bring home. We truly appreciate his kindness. Breakfast spread was superb. Location was tucked away from the main attractions, but it was facing the beach. There were a waterpark area and pool including a kids zone!

The rooms and food are good. The waterpark was fun as well.

Do not stay here if you have kids from America. They do not let you bring outside food. I would definitely not stay again

The stay here was amazing, the staff is really helpful, the services are top notch and reach u with in minutes. Really beautiful place, you will actually need 1 full day to explore the resort alone. Overall a wonderful experience and must try. I was assisted by sindy, she was amazing and really sweet. Over all love the experience would love to get back here.

Fabulous resort with everything you need in the one spot. Beautiful villas. Breakfast buffet was delicious with huge variety. Swimming pool and pool bar fantastic.

Food at Coco Beach Restaurant wasn't great. Seafood wasn't like shown in the photo's. Loved the location of the restaurant and outdoor seating area. Staff were great.

Chuc from Lua Grill was so friendly, accommodating and nothing was a problem. She looked after the kids and had a smile always. She was a stand-out of all the staff!

We had dinner at lua for my friend’s birthday. The staff chuc and team was very attentive and helped us prepare a birthday celebration. The experience is great and the food is great too :)

We had a wonderful 4 days stay at New World Phu Quoc Resort. This was not our first visit, and once again the resort exceeded our expectations. The villa was spacious, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. The beach was stunning, the pools were excellent, and the entire property was clean, well-designed, and perfect for a relaxing getaway. What impressed us most was the warmth and friendliness of the staff. From the reception team to the restaurant staff and housekeeping team, everyone was welcoming, professional, and always willing to help. The breakfast offered a great variety of choices, and the overall service quality truly reflected the resort’s five-star standard. The resort is also very family-friendly, with plenty of space to relax and enjoy quality time together. Every visit leaves us with wonderful memories, which is why we keep choosing New World Phu Quoc whenever we return to the island. Thank you to the entire team for another memorable stay. Wonderful food and five star service. Please visit this place when visiting the island. Worth the travel if you aren’t staying at the resort. If you are at the resort, you will be missing out if you don’t go. Very family friendly, our host Nguyen was awesome.

Absolutely excellent ambience with LUA grill and bar. Was served by Ms Nhu who speak very well and give good advice on food choices.

The price is excellent for the huge villa. The beach is very nice with soft sand and clean water. The service from staff was excellent as well.

A minor inconvenience is that there can be some unclean stuff in the private pool but I guess that's sort of expected given the size of the room and greenery.

I love the resort’s concept. My villa was beautiful. It had a jackfruit tree inside the garden, which my family amazed and excited. The pool was big and beautiful, rooms were clean. However, the bathroom has no door. It only had a curtain to cover, which made me not so comfortable as I shared the room with my brother and he had to go outside while I was taking a bath and so did I. However, the experience was great, hope to be back

We stayed in garden pool villa. The rooms were big, especially my kids loved the separated living room, and of cause a private pool. Though it is an extensive resort, it was convenient to go everywhere, due to buggy. I also enjoyed beautiful breakfast including vietnamese cuisine.

The information design was not enough. I couldn't find any signs or map markers for the showers available before check-in. Also, the show information, the gathering time and location were incorrect.

Les équipements avec bowling et billard, le parc aquatique, la piscine, le personnel avec les soins attentionnés de l’infirmière, les repas étaient bons, les différents restaurants.

Nous n’avons même pas le temps de finir nos assiettes le matin que les serveuses vous les prennent en plein milieu du petit déjeuner, ce qui rend le repas très stressant. Pas assez de serviette dans la chambre Cuisine inutile car pas de couverts, ni de quoi réchauffer. Beaucoup de bruits de lézards dans la nuit qui se faufilent dans la chambre. L’attente des buggys était longue, on ne savait jamais quand ils arrivaient. Les femmes de ménage qui sont entrés pendant qu’on dormait, sachant que nous avons des enfants dans les chambres qui dorment. C’est dangereux, on ne sait pas qui ils sont pour s’introduire dans la chambre de nos enfants pendant qu’ils dorment. On a trouvé un rat mort dans les parties communes, la piscine était pleine de guêpes mortes, la plage était dégueulasse donc impratiquable. Les zones fumeurs qui vous isolent de tout, pour finalement voir que certains clients fument partout. Les serviettes de piscine ne sont pas très propres, souvent tachées. C’était compliqué de se doucher le dernier jour dans les douches de la piscine qui étaient, en plus, mal indiquées.

We just stayed here and, while there were several highlights, this is definitely not a 5-star hotel in terms of experience and service. What We Enjoyed: our villa was very spacious, spotlessly clean, and having a personal pool was a fantastic touch. The room service was excellent, and we always appreciated coming back to a thoroughly cleaned room daily. Additionally, the buggy service was great—efficient and always reliable. Major Disruption & Poor Communication: The biggest issue during our stay was a massive private corporate event that took over the common outdoor area. There was absolutely no notification or mention of this to paying guests beforehand. For an entire day, tradesmen were setting up a stage, sitting around smoking, and throwing their cigarette butts directly into the grass—which became a massive safety hazard when my daughter nearly stepped on one. In the evening, the event hosted over 100+ people with a loud MC blaring over the microphone until 10 PM. Trying to get young kids to sleep at 8 PM with that level of noise right outside was impossible and incredibly frustrating. Other Areas for Improvement: Sterile Atmosphere: Despite the nice facilities, the overall vibe of the resort feels very sterile and lacks personality or "fun." While the staff are polite, they are quite shy and not overly friendly, making it feel unwelcoming for families. The Pool Towel Policy: Having a lifeguard track towels by constantly demanding room numbers is really annoying. Furthermore, a strict "one towel per person" rule is completely impractical for kids who frequently need replacements after towels get wet and dirty. Weak Wi-Fi: The Wi-Fi is ridiculously weak. A resort cannot claim 5-star status if it cannot sort out basic, reliable internet connectivit

Stopped by at the New World Phu Quoc Resort for a meal at Zoya - A Taste of Indo-Arabic Dining. The meal by Chef Prafull Aina was one of the best Indian meals we have had outside India. All dishes were amazing, what topped it all was the Kulfi.
