Convenient location. Quiet and comfortable room with a lovely coffee and tea selection. Wonderful front desk staff.
Nothing
I loved the bed and bathroom
I didn't like how the plugs weren't working at first but that got sorted and im glad that it did because I have severe sleep apnea and the staff were really onto it and nice.
No parking available even no paid parking available so had to park up the road.
Clean and modern with fun art

Quiet comfortable room with walking distance to Queensgate.
Cleaning
The hotel was beautiful and the room comfortable but too hot at night. For some reason the air conditioning temperature would not reduce. Thank you to the lovely staff.

Beautiful and well priced. Staff were very accommodating.
Breakfast options were limited around 9am, so would probably suggest going earlier.
This was one of the best accommodations I have ever stayed. The price was reasonable. The service was excellent. Staff were very professional. The place was spic and span.
Having to do a U turn outside the front entrance to go back to the roundabout that takes you to the road leading to the carpark. Paying an extra $20.00 more than the 1st night to stay another night.
Right in the heart of Lower Hutt, many good restaurants within walking distance, and super market and the Mall is only several minutes drive away
Clean, comfortable and warm
Love the breakfast and the location to go for a walk around town
The weather could of been better
Excellent rooms
I'm not a fan of milk in those little punnets
Breakfast was great - pancakes could do with some cream.
Nothing of concern
It was close to where we needed to be in Lower Hutt
Very noisy people next door- we were in a room that had a shared main door so every time the people in the other room went in and out the door banged loudly. The breakfast in the cafe adjoining the hotel was terrible. Hard for a buffet to be so bad. There is no tap and pay- need a card to swipe which is annoying as I always use my phone to pay. Just lots of little things that become annoying for what you would expect to be more of a premium hotel
facilities were great, room was great
The full length mirror is blocked by the bed and in a weird part of the room that i was in.
Clean comfortable beds
The cooked breakfast was terrible, would go To a cafe in future
Very comfortable beds & pillows. Good kitchen facilities. Shower was hot with good pressure
The coffee from the barista in the restaurant was very weak
Easy access, lovely staff. Cleaning tidy. At dinner time the food was lovely
Only give you one access key. The young lady serving us at breakfast carried my coffee over holding the top of the cup in one hand and an empty saucer in the other. I prefer people didn't have their fingers on the part of the cup where I'm going to put my mouth.
Quiet, great facilities
Parking - Very limited

The dinner at the restaurant was fabulous
Great location for visiting the Lower Hutt area, staff were lovely and the bed was comfy. There’s a laundry facility for guests to use which makes things so easy for longer stays. Chromecast in the TVs was great for lounging around and watching films in the evening.
I got breakfast and probably shouldn’t have. It was both basic and really average quality/standards of preparation. Worth noting though that there was a whole gluten free cereal section on a different table which I’m sure is great for coeliac folks. There was only dairy milk out for the coffee and cereals but the staff were so lovely about giving me oat milk everyday. Given the location, some may find it a little noisy on the weekends with obnoxious cars.
Very clean and spacious The Decor The variety of “in room” tea options Friendly and helpful staff
Just a lovely place to stay
Location and staff, the room is wonderful.
Really nice place have stayed a few times now, the people are excellent, rooms comfortable and well appointed. Riverview is pleasant on a good day. The off site gym at strength nation is far superior to any hotel gym, its clean well appointed and near by
Carpark is pretty tight to get in and out of and quite limited if youre travelling with a vehicle it can be a little limiting. Its a pretty noise area so that can be a bit rough, but its expected in the city so hard for them to avoid. The biggest downfall is the breakfast is pretty terrible, there are plenty of nice cafes in Petone so visit one of them because youll be let down by the on-site restaurant (although dinner there is really nice, not sure why the quality is so vastly different between meals).

No Sky available.
Room was luxurious
Old blanket on bed which looked unclean
Handy walking to everywhere and with off road parking. We especially liked the night light in the toilet.
Very clean, comfortable beds, great location, easy check in
Nothing, everything was excellent!
Loved staying at the Sebel beautiful room great stuff and location was great for walking everywhere
quiet room, soft pillows, comfortable bed
Very comfortable and staff were very professional
Clean and comfortable
Good location and facilities
Bit expensive
It was generally clean and comfortable. It is close to shops and food.
There is very limited parking so not very convenient if you have a car. The location is not very nice to walk around.
New, clean, staff very helpful
breakfast - we had continental - great. lots of options available loved the spaciousness of the room, the bed was sooo comfortable
The shampoo holders were loose and it was very hard to get the shampoo etc out of the bottles
Close to convention venue comfortable room safe area to walk
All good
Decor was very classy and updated. Every little detail was provided. Clean and super comfortable. Loved the velvet furnishings and colour's.
Scheduling of cleaning the carpets in the hallway to be on a monday instead of at the beginning of the busy weekend? (Unless there was a spill?) Whole area was wet and humid. Better management of the front drop off area where drivers were parking and leaving the car and blocking access for pick ups and drop offs. Booked a suite for a river view but 1st floor looks striaght on to the back of a building with slight view of the river around the corner!
tidy n clean
nothing
Did not have breakfast. Limited full options
Perfect location
Room over the road however wasn’t too noisey. Would not include breakfast 0/10
Second time staying here and no complaints. Large room with a kitchenette, separate bedroom and king bed. Bathroom modern and very clean as well as everything else and all very well presented. Any staff encountered were pleasant and friendly. There is paid parking on site which was completely full but we fortunately managed to squeeze in. The hotel is close to the Queensgate Mall which is walkable to get to, taking about 5-7 minutes or so - handy if you don't have a car. We will definitely be back!
Friendly staff, great location and clean and tidy rooms.
Nothing
Great stay here. Lovely staff, very clean and great value for money.
The breakfast that came with our stay was good, but all the “hot food” was stone cold which was disappointing.
It was close to the Lower Hutt events centre. It was clean and modern. Staff were very helpful. Breakfast facilities were great.
Some of the parking spaces were tricky to fit into.
Modern and nice decor that felt like a high end property.
Nothing at all. It was great
We chose The Sebel Lower Hutt for our anniversary, a local staycation as we couldn't fly internationally for our anniversary date. We received true five star service throughout our stay, from check in to check out, everything was world class. We particularly appreciated the special treat in our room, the fun "towel art" and Sebel teddy bear, that really made us feel special.
No faults, it was perfect.
location was great, breakfast offered a wide range and catered for all of us
barista coffee - wasnt great
Friendly front desk staff and it’s kept clean
Breakfast was disappointing, it was more continental type breakfast. Also BEWARE of the Grazie Restaurant downstairs, we were surprised at checkout as they tried to charge us a $49 service charge ontop of our meal cost which we refused to pay this hidden cost, they stated that the “service charge is a mandatory component of our pricing structure and is applied consistently to all applicable bills. This charge contributes towards maintaining our service standards, supporting staffing costs, and ensuring a high-quality dining experience for all guests” ridiculous, these hidden cost just ruins the experience.
LOVED my Ceaser salad which I ate in restaurant. The staff were amazing. I have eaten in many restaurants both in NZ and overseas and my meal and service was a lot better than I`ve had elsewhere
That I could not have wine with a meal for room service
Location was perfect
Cost of parking
facilities were gret, clean and tidy all round, bed was comfy not your usual stiff hotel bed,
The full length mirror is right by the bed which isnt super convenient
Location
Staff handling the checkin
How clean and friendly staff were walking distance to mall and shops very handy location
No sky Wifi could not connect
Breakfast was pretty average, with boiled eggs the only egg option
Friendly helpful staff great room bed was comfoftable
