The breakfast was lovely, the little pastries were cute and there was a good choice of yogurts/drinks. The staff were all friendly and really helpful. The bed was comfortable and the room was really clean.

In town for a gig at Halifax Piece Hall. The hotel is on the outskirts of town, literally just off the M62. The facilities were immaculately clean and stylish, with ample parking on site. A large pub / restaurant to the front of the hotel, is a big bonus.

It's a taxi into town (or bus) but to be fair, that suited us for jumping onto the motorway in the morning.

I was placed in a disabled room. The key didn’t work and I had to be let in by staff and housekeeping. The bacon in the bap in the morning was like shoe leather. Just a No from me!1

Unsafe and Unwelcoming Stayed with my well behaved 7 year old this weekend. Room was fine and spacious, bathroom facilities all good and clean and a comfy bed BUT we had an issue on the Saturday morning that ruined the stay. Despite us basically having just got up and not moved as so far as using the toilet (around 8am) we get a knock at the door from staff saying there has been a noise complaint. I didn’t think anything of it at the time and assumed it was the wrong room they had targetted things happen. The little one was a little upset as she had been sitting watching TV since getting up. We continued our morning, got ready and acted normally making no excess noise or indeed much noise at all only to receive another knock saying the chancer downstairs had once again complained. There was no noise made and it was clear at this point either the person below was trying to get a discounted rate or the staff were coming to the wrong room to deal with the complaint. We also recieved a phone call from what I assume was reception and missed this call. That means we had three contacts in the space of an hour despite literally not moving. My little one was very upset understandably as she had barely moved an inch and had three approaches for noise complaints that were untrue. This ruined what should have been a relaxing morning and she was hesitant to go in the shower, go to the toilet etc because of the way these unfounded complaints were handled and was walking around the hotel on tiptoes. This caused her unnecessary anxiety and as mentioned ruined our stay. As we were leaving a middle aged man in the entrance approached us to ask what room we were staying in. Why was a middle aged man wanted to know what rooms kids were staying in? This made us feel a tad unsafe also. Shan’t be returning and would not recommend Room - spacious and best was decent.

For the first time ever, the mattress has sunk in room 110, which made it uncomfortable. Think it is time for them to maybe replace it, as topper didn't help.

We didn’t have breakfast. It was not what we wanted. On arrival the receptionist changed my daughters room when booking we asked for 2 rooms near by ours was no 7 the other was 100 and something .She immediately skied if we would like it changed .Reception did give me mat for inside the bath when we asked .

There was no hot chocolate and not being a coffee or tea drinker I feel it was thought less.In fact the tea and coffee tray was very sparse.Biscuits not at all .

Claire on the reception desk was really friendly and welcoming. Made the children feel welcome as much as the adults. Room was a good size, really clean and well furnished. Nicer than I'd expected for the price we paid. Hotel was quiet in the evening and we all slept well. Mirror with good lighting, a chair and plug socket which can't be underrated when you have an event to get ready for!

Rooms aren't air conditioned which is something to bear in mind if booking during the summer, but fan was provided and worked well to keep us cool. Breakfast was quite basic but can't moan for the total price we paid.

Liked the room as there was no noise and we were able to get a good nights sleep over the three nights we stayed. Breakfast was good and the staff were friendly and professional and recommended a restaurant for us which turned out to be exceptional.

Bed was comfortable, breakfast pastries was okay.

Beds had bedbugs, killing bugs all night, room was hot, breakfast sandwich was tasteless.

Sandwiches for breakfast stood way too long making it slightly inedible yoghurt no variety on a plus the pastries was good but the coffee machine useless

The staff were friendly. The bed was comfortable.

It wasn't cleaned well. As soon as we opened the door to our room we were hit with a strong musky smell. The bathroom stunk of wee. It's like the bathroom floor hadn't been moped from months. The headboard had stains all over it. It was grim to be honest. Expecially considering the price we paid. Wouldn't recommend and I wouldn't stay again.

Great location, quiet area. Clean & everything you need. No extra to pay for parking like some hotels. Lovely light up dressing table with mirror & light.

Forgot toothpaste, reception had some essentials, however they had not been restocked so didn't have any. It did not impact our stay at all & we would stay again.

The bathroom needs a high concentration mould remover for the tiles/silicone and general nooks and crannies of the bathroom as that was the only let down.

Wir hatten ein Zimmer direkt zur Autobahn. Wer etwas empfindlich ist kann hier nicht schlafen. Nach viel Diskussion und dem Vorschlag in ein anderes Hotel zu ziehen wurde eines der ruhigeren Zimmer freigegeben ob wohl hier mehrere frei waren. Das Frühstück, wenn man es so nennen will ist unterirdisch. Es gibt ein warmgehaltenes Pappbrötchen mit etwas Schinken und Käse dem man angesehen hat das er schon ein paar Stunden in der Warmhalteablage bereitgehalten wird. Essen kann man dann auf dem Zimmer oder draussen. Wer möchte kann es auch irgendwie im Empfangsraum einnehmen.

The hotel was in an ideal position for me, near to my relatives and it was a good price also. The room was clean and comfortable and very quiet. The staff were very pleasant and helpful.

I ordered a breakfast sandwich, bacon, it was good but the last days one was quite poor. I also had a meal in the pub/restaurant next door, part of the same group I think, and it was poor. I had a pie which was supposed to be "steak and ale". It was a large pie but very little filling, 3 small pieces of steak and three quarters air. So I will never eat there again.

We enjoyed breakfast in a bag, it was a very nice touch.

The room was too hot. So we had the window open all night, unfortunately the hotel is located close to a motorway, so we had the noise of the traffic all night

Very friendly staff; great location for what we needed. Facilites were mostly clean but the carpet in the room probably needs replacing.

Dark rooms with not much light; carpet was grubby with age; the mattress had a large wire poking out of it which scratched my leg - I mentioned this to staff when I left who said they’d take a look at it.

Very surly & sharp member of staff at reception in the morning. I felt a little intimidated when I went down to try to get some breakfast slightly late. I wasn't aware of the need to pre-order. Seemed early to finish serving grab & go breakfast at 10am on a Sun. No real apology offered. Unsympathetic. She approached my mum at check out 11am. Mum still in her room & said she was waiting for me. Lady said sharply we don't have anyone else with that name staying here. A little uncalled for. Not sure what the lady's name was, all I know is that she is leaving next week. Her customer service was very poor.

Das Hotel liegt an einer mehrspurigen Straße, dadurch hatten wir in unserem Zimmer ( Richtung Straße) permanent Verkehrslärm.

The location of this hotel was excellent as it was away from the town centre and we were surrounded by beautiful views of the countryside. The hotel was next to a beautiful country pub which meant we did not need to go far at all to enjoy a delicious meal. The room was spacious and very clean. The breakfast was the perfect amount of food for the morning (a hot filled roll, fresh fruit, yoghurt and pastries). As the hotel shares the car park with the pub next door there is excellent parking facilities.

We only stayed one night and did not find anything that we did not like about this hotel.

Breakfast was okay, and the location was easy to find. Couldn't hear the M62, as we had the window in our room closed. The staff were pretty helpful, but I feel as though they could have been a bit more prompt in answering the buzzer.

The WiFi kept dropping in and out, and I had to keep signing in again, each morning, plus we couldn't get all the channels we were hoping for on the TV in our room. I think the room should have already had a fan in.

It's obviously been a premier lodge in the past but it now showing signs of ware that wouldn't be allowed should it still be a premier lodge. Bed very lumpy, carpets very worn etc.

Karen and the staff are so friendly. Karen will be very much missed when she retires. The pub next door us great and we really all enjoyed our food there.
