Oakwood Hotel Oike Kyoto

Arrivati in hotel la struttura ci ha segnalato la possibilità di fare degli upgrade per disponibilità di alcune stanze libere. Abbiamo quindi preso una stanza un po più grande della nostra ad un buon prezzo! In generale segnaliamo che l’hotel è davvero bello, in un’ottima posizione (fuori dal “casino” ma attaccato a tutto!). Il letto e i cuscini sono tra i più comodi provati nel nostro viaggio in Giappone! Bagno molto bello e pulito! La lavasciuga in camera una chicca che è stata molto utile! Colazione buona e variegata!

Alcune stanze hanno le finestre opacizzate. Noi abbiamo riesco camera con vetri trasparenti.

(1) The staff was polite and the check-in and check-out processes were fast and efficient. (2) We didn't try the hotel's breakfast so I have no opinion on that. There is a mini-fridge, a Nespresso coffee machine and an electric kettle with complimentary coffee capsules and tea bags in the room. (3) The room was clean and spacious enough.

(1) The location is not great. The area is nice, with an interesting shopping area nearby, but far from the main central station and key attractions. (2) As in many other Japanese hotels, there was no closet, wardrobe or dresser in the room. Just two hooks on the wall with a few hangers. So you basically have to keep your clothes in your suitcase. Not very convenient if you are staying for more than one or two nights. (3) Laundry facilities are not very good. There is only one (old) washer and one (old) dryer; not up to a 4-star hotel standard.

Sehr gute Betten, sehr gute Lage, in der Nähe einer Bahnstation, die nach Nara und direkt zur Kyoto Station fährt. Frühstück japanisch und westlich. Personal sehr hilfsbereit (mit Ausnahme).

Frühstück könnte mit frischen Fruchtsäften und mehr Früchten ergänzt werden.

La camera più “spaziosa” trovata nel nostro viaggio in Giappone. L’hotel è a pochi passi dal “centro” di Kyoto, raggiungibile comodamente a piedi.

Hotel bem localizado, pudemos fazer o check-in um pouco antes sem custo extra. Quarto confortável, com banheiro amplo, e muito silencioso. Próximo ao hotel há uma avenida com acesso a ônibus e metrô, além de uma ótima padaria e a uma curta distância a pé do Nishiki Market. No lobby há ainda uma mesa onde é possível fazer pequenas refeições e também estão disponíveis agua, café e outras bebidas. O hotel tem lavanderia, mas apenas uma maquina de lavar e outra de secar. Tivemos que lavar roupa em uma lavanderia da região.

Para quem está com muitas malas, o quarto pode ser um pouco apertado. Mas não se compara a outros quartos minúsculos do Japão.

close to the kyoto station and to the other station 10-15 min walking. Staff is so sweet gave us an extra hour for checkout cleaned rooms daily pjs are provided such a wonderful experience.

Honestly not staying long enough at this hotel. This was the best hotel we stayed at during our japan trip!

４泊しましたが、朝食は毎回少しずつ変わっていて、飽きずに楽しめました。京都の有名なパン屋さんのパンが毎朝食べられたのがとくによかったです。宿泊者は外国人が多いためか、京都らしい日本食のメニューはあまりなかった点がやや残念でしたが。部屋の照明が明るく、デスクが十分な広さで仕事がはかどりました。

窓は磨りガラスで外の景色は見えず、窓が開けられないので外気との直接的な空気交換はできず、そのかわりシャワー室の24時間換気が稼働していてスイッチを切ることができず、という閉塞感がありました。

Des boissons sont disponibles mais uniquement à certaines heures : dommage, nous aurions aimé en profiter plus souvent Il est indiqué que des produits du quotidien sont accessibles : il faut tout de même passer par la réception et en demander, ce qui réduit l'autonomie car il fallait tout le temps demander à du personnel (exemple pour de la skin care). Étrangement, ils n'avaient pas de body towel / éponge pour le corps L'espace en chambre était un peu petit pour des baggages

Very conveniently located hotel, close to two subway (metro) stations and within walking distance (12-15 minutes) of Pintocho Alley with all its restaurants. Reasonably priced. Good AC (critical for Kyoto's summer heat). Good wifi.

Room was small, with no drawers or shelves to place items. Also no closet or wardrobe. I managed OK because I was alone and used the second bed as a shelf, but it could be a challenge for 2 people.

Struttura moderna e silenziosa nonostante sia vicino ad una strada trafficata. Le camere sono molto belle ed i letti comodi. È ben collegata a stazioni della metro e pullman, e a piedi si possono benissimo raggiungere le zone più centrali. Lo staff è preparato e cordiale.

Frühstück sehr schlecht! Wir hatten es bei der Ankunft extra dazugebucht und waren nur einmal frühstücken. Extrem schlecht! Keine Auswahl, viele europäische Gäste denen es gleich ging. Um die Ecke ist nettes Lokal zum Frühstücken. Es fehlt an allem. Waschmaschine ist auch kaum brauchbar, da der Trockner nur 3,5 kg fasst und diese Menge nicht trocknet, dann hat man im Zimmer keine Möglichkeiten Wäsche zu trocknen.

Sauberkeit, tolle Lage, freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal, umfangreiches Frühstück, komfortables Bett, schöne Einrichtung.

Am Lichtschalter vom Badezimmer (in meinem Fall gegenüber vom Bett) war ein grünes Licht, welches in der Nacht das gesamte Zimmer beleuchtet hat. Für mich als lichtempfindlicher Mensch, war dies störend.

Everything was fine with the hotel but I wished there was more laundry machines.

Only one laundry machine for a building with more than 9 floors is kind of crazy.

We booked 2 Deluxe Rooms. Everything was excellent, very good breakfast, change the menu everyday Very clean, comfortable beds, nice bathroom with Tatami floor. All looked new. Japanese pyjamas provided. Very good suburb, quiet and close to many tourist attractions. Definitely recommended

Отличное расположение отеля, вокруг классный район и красивые старинные домики Киото. Чистый номер и приятные пижамы. Довольно просторно в номере, как для японского отеля.

Очень жаркие одеяла, как для летнего сезона. Нельзя открыть окно проветрить и запустить свежий воздух.

Tutto! Io e mio marito siamo rimasti entusiasti! Struttura davvero molto accogliente, con personale altrettanto gentile e disponibile a risolvere ogni situazione. La stanza era davvero molto bella, pulita, moderna e con tutto il necessario.

Se proprio devo trovare un appunto, per la quantità di persone che è in grado di accogliere la struttura e per i servizi che offre, una lavatrice e una asciugatrice sono un po’ poche. Potrebbe essere implementato questo servizio, ma ad ogni modo è da segnalare che è disponibile anche il servizio di lavanderia da parte dell’hotel.

Great place to stay in Kyoto, in a cosy neighbourhood, only few minutes walking from the center. We did almost everything by walk. Friendly staff, clean and high quality structure.

The room is quite tiny (18sqm) when you have two big bags and not a lot of space to store the clothes but it can be manageable

Buena ubicación, se podía ir caminando casi a todos los sitios. Calle tranquila y sin ruidos por la noche. Ideal para descansar. Habitación limpia y correcta (dentro de la media de Japón, que suelen ser pequeñas).

El personal no habla inglés en la recepción,ni otro idioma que no sea el suyo (al menos los que nos atendieron a nosotros). Son un poco secos y no muy resolutivos (supongo que es por no poder entenderse en ningún idioma). El desayuno se veía muy limitado y escaso. El aire acondicionado en la zona de lobby y desayuno estaba muy fuerte todos los días. La gente estronudando y con sudaderas y ellos seguían con las maquinas a toda pastilla.

Goed hotel, op een perfect locatie in Kyoto. De kamers zijn schoon, ze bieden gratis water de hele dag en tussen bepaalde tijden ook koffie, thee en frisdranken. Er is een laundry room, heel handig! Op loopafstand van de gezellige straten van Kyoto. We kunnen dit hotel zeker aanraden.

Posizione comoda in centro a Kyoto però in una vietta accogliente e tranquilla, perpendicolare al viale principale. Staff gentilissimo e disponibile, parla inglese e risponde a qualsiasi richiesta. Ho usufruito della lavatrice e asciugatrice che viene messa a disposizione dei clienti dell’hotel. Ottimo servizio. Camere pulite e spaziose rispetto alla media, bagno non in plastica. Doccia con vasca incorporata spaziosa e pulita. Struttura molto accogliente, arredamento moderno. Avevamo una doppia ma con i letti singoli che erano molto larghi. Ottimo hotel
