Lovely, relaxing hotel. We especially enjoyed the nightly live music with complimentary beer and wine. The signature fragrance throughout the hotel was wonderful, and the staff were very friendly. Bed was comfortable.

The room was quite small. The person on the far side of the bed had to turn sideways to get by, and there really needs to be a better place for luggage.

È stato uno dei migliori hotel che abbia mai visto... Partiamo dalla colazione, ottima e varia accompagnata da una musicista che suonava il piano. Le stanze sono super pulite e il letto comodissimo. Mio figlio ha dormito con noi nel letto ed era talmente spazioso e comodo che non l' abbiamo sentito! Peccato non aver provato i free drink, il bar era davvero molto fornito ma tornavamo molto tardi... La musica di sottofondo è sempre piacevole e c'è anche un'area dove poter ascoltare dei dischi con le cuffie. Lo staff è gentile e ci hanno anche aiutato con la consegna bagagli presso l' hotel di Tokyo. È in una posizione strategica sia per i mezzi sia per una passeggiata la sera... è stato bellissimo alloggiare qui, Sicuramente se dovessi consigliare un hotel a Kyoto non esisterei a consigliare questo.

L' aria condizionata nei corridoi è davvero molto forte 😅

Exceptionnel, placement idéal à l'hyper centre et pourtant très calme, chambre confortable, litterie très confortable et spatieuse, personnel toujours exemplaire, lockers de valise très pratiques, et surtout des prestations de l'hôtel incroyables : lounge super avec boissons ou snacks de choix inclus 1 par soir par personne, et où des musiciens viennent jouer tous les matins et tous les soirs, ainsi qu'un onsen non-mixte spatieux et impeccable qui accepte sans réserve les tattoos, et enfin le MEILLEUR petit-déjeuner que nous avons fait au Japon (de LOIN) avec énormément de choix et de qualité ce qui est très très rare, il vaut largement son prix. Parfait !

Comme souvent au Japon, la surface au sol dans la chambre pour disposer les valises est assez restreinte, notre chambre privilégieant d'avoir des lits avec une grande surface. À considérer si vous venez avec beaucoup de bagages. Mais sinon rien à redire, c'était parfait.

Degustar las bebidas de bienvenida mientras escuchas musica en directo del piano o la flauta travesera. Disfrutar del honsen prácticamente en solitario. Las camas eran cómodas y proporcionan toallas limpias todos los dias.

La habitación era un poco pequeña para desenvolverte bien con las maletas. Los jimbei o pijamas para los huéspedes, son feos, parece que los han triado desde un campo de concentración nazi.

Домик находится в красивейшем месте с видом на горы. Есть неотапливаемый бассейн, поэтому если на улице прохладно, то в бассейн не залезть. Все необходимое есть: полотенца, посуда и даже щетки и зубная паста. В гостиной есть огромный проектор. Есть вайфай. Самый огромны + это то, что можно заехать большой компанией и будет комфортно. В 10 минутах езды находится невероятный национальный парк. В 2х минутах ходьбы есть небольшой маркет, если что-то забыли, то можно прикупить.

Из минусов - мало места для хранения вещей

Otimo hotel, localização muito boa para fazer varias coisas andando ou acesso facil a metro/ônibus. É uma região com muitas lojas, foi onde mais gostei de fazer compras no Japão. O hotel foi otimo, quarto com tamanho ok, cama boa, roupa de cama extremamente gostosa. Tinham amenites de skin care na recepção junto com cafe livre. Tomamos o cafe da manha um dia e estava bom. Eles tambem fornecem 1 drink por pessoa gratuito diariamente. Comparado ao resto do Japão, foi barata a hospedagem, principalmente pelo que oferece.

Para mim foi tudo ótimo.

The third twin bed is a sofa bed and not a regular a regular twin as advertised. Also, the ac didn’t cool the room well.

ottimo albergo, con rapporto qualità/prezzo superiore alla media: ci è stata assegnata la camera 1005, spaziosa, dotata di tutto il necessario per rendere il soggiorno confortevole: due ampie e luminose finestre, divanetto e tavolino, mobile scrivania con poltroncina, armadio e 2 letti queen comodissimi, frigobar, bollitore. Pulizia ineccepibile. Sono disponibili gratuitamente per gli ospiti dotazione di acqua, ghiaccio, caffè, tè, amenities nelle aree comuni. Bagno abbastanza ampio, ottima dotazione di asciugamani morbidi e accappatoi. La colazione è gustosissima e molto ricca di assortimento sia tradizionale giapponese sia occidentale. Abbiamo spedito il nostro bagaglio da Tokyo e all'arrivo in Hotel abbiamo trovato le valigie già nella nostra camera: gradevole attenzione per l'ospite

Solo qualche appunto sulla colazione, non particolarmente significativo e che non riduce la nostra ottima valutazione: - la qualità del caffè (in Giappone non è buono da nessuna parte, ma questo mi è sembrato proprio pessimo) - la poca cortesia di un addetto alla sala colazioni con il quale ho dovuto discutere per portare una tazza di latte, un bicchiere di succo e qualche croissant in camera a mia figlia che aveva un lieve malessere e non se la sentiva di scendere subito. Suggerirei a questo addetto di fare qualche inchino in meno e non costringere l'ospite ad alzare la voce per un piccolo vassoio da portare in camera! - a mio gusto avrei fatto volentieri a meno della graziosa suonatrice di piano o di flauto che "allietava" la colazione con una lagnosa, noiosissima e banale performance musicale dal vivo a colazione... Meglio tenerla per la sera, per conciliare il sonno.

La pulizia. La camera era polverosa..in doccia c’era la muffa e anche al “pubblic bath” la vasca era piena di muffa.

Het hotel is fijn gelegen nabij Nishiki market en OV. Hierdoor is het makkelijk om te reizen in Kyoto. Je loopt in 10/15 minuten naar de historische wijk Gion. Het ontbijt is werkelijk fantastisch! Enorm veel (gezonde) keuzes. De kamer is schoon, ruim en comfortabel. Het personeel is heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Je krijgt voor elke dag verblijf een muntje voor een gratis drankje in de lounge. Wijn, bier is daarmee vrij te tappen. De keuze voor alcoholvrije drankjes is wel beperkt.

Muy buena ubicación. El hotel está muy bien, las instalaciones están limpias y bien cuidadas. El desayuno es excelente y, además, incluye una bebida gratuita por cada día de estancia. En general, es una opción perfecta para pasar unos días en Kioto.

Il personale è davvero gentile e ci hanno anche regalato dei gettoni per il bar per ogni giorno del nostro soggiorno. Un hotel davvero elegante, accogliente e rilassante. Se dovessi tornare a Kyoto, prenoterei senza dubbio di nuovo qui.

Beautiful small boutique style hotel with Bach music theme. The rooms are very clean and nicely decorated. The shower is so good. It makes you relax after a long day of travel. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The hotel amenities are something a lot of other hotels can’t compare.

Heel goede locatie, dat vond ik zelf ook belangrijk. Ietwat kleine kamers, wel voorzien van alle comfort. In vergelijking met andere hote´s tijdens onze reis, was de kamer hier iets ruimer dan elders. Het private bath vond ik als vrouw heel ontspannend. Ik ging om 16u als het net opende en er was niemand. Maar heel fijn zen momentje. Verder ligt er superveel in de buurt. Conbini op amper 100m. Alles bij de hand. Kregen bij check in enkele munten voor drankje in de bar. Ze hielden ook onze bagage bij na check out. Echt lieve crew en tophotel. Niet twijfelen, doen.

한여름 8월 여행을 갔고, 호텔 그랜드 바흐는 말 그대로 에어컨을 최대 강력하게 모든 통로와 호텔 전체에 틀어놔서 긴팔을 입어야 할 정도였어요. 진짜 최고. 그리고 대욕장도 너무 좋았어요. 위치야 말할 것도 없이 쇼핑하기 너무 좋았고, 호텔에서 나와 왼쪽으로 조금만 내려가면 일본 마트가 있는데 여기서 사먹은 교토 복숭아는 제가 먹은 것중에 최고였어요. 거기에 도시락도 많고 괜히 비싼 음식보다 더 가성비 맛 으로 따지면 좋았다는 팁도 공유합니다. 짐을 맡기는 곳도 너무 좋고 편했고, 조식먹을 때 프룻을 불러 주시는 분이 계셨는데 특별했어요. 그리고 클래식이 계속 나오는 호텔인데, 그것 또한 여행의 피로를 풀어줬음. 조식도 너무 맛있었어요.

방이 다른 곳에 비해 작았다.

Posizione ottima, l'albergo è molto bello e c'è una sala dove stare in tranquillità. Ti offrono anche un gettone al giorno per ricevere una bevanda gratuita e c'è la possibilità di prendere un caffè quando si vuole nella reception. Il personale è molto gentile.

The room/bed was comfortable, staff was very accommodating, breakfast was good, and evening drinks was a very nice touch. The location was very convenient for transportation via train and bus to get around the city.

We advised before arriving that was our honeymoon and if the could please give us a room on high floor. Not only they did that as well they enusured to make is find in the room a little token with a message. The room was one of the best during our stay in Japan. the Public bath was very nice and the other amenities were very good. The hotel as well gave us as soon we arrived an certain amount of coins that we could use at the bar to get free drinks. The location is as well fantastic and we loved overall the full atmosfere.

From some floors the carpets on the hallway were starting to wear off. Based on the level of the place, I hope they will look to fix it.

Lo único bueno que puedo decir de este Hotel, es su ubicación que es excepcional en pleno centro de Kioto. El personal agradable y el desayuno correcto

Las habitaciones son extremadamente pequeñas, incluso para Japón. No hay ni siquiera un armario donde poder dejar la ropa. Las maletas no caben abiertas en el suelo. El baño tiene el tamaño del baño de un avión. Estuvimos tres días. Estábamos de ruta por Japón y llevábamos maletas de viaje . Fue realmente una estancia muy incómoda. No recomiendo para nada este Hotel. Un Hotel de cuatro estrellas no puede tener ese tamaño de habitaciones, no se corresponde con la categoría ni con el precio que pagamos por él.

Ottima posizione, in pieno centro, silenzioso e pulito. La colazione era basata soprattutto su cibi salati, ma offriva qualcosa anche per chi preferisce il dolce (qualche dolcetto, pane, burro, marmellata, yogurt, cereali, frutta, tè, latte, succhi). Graditissime le numerose amenities alla reception, così come il drink serale, offerto dalla struttura. Personale gentilissimo e disponibile.

La nostra camera era veramente troppo piccola, anche rispetto agli altri hotel giapponesi dove abbiamo soggiornato. A malapena ci si poteva muovere intorno al letto con i due trolley aperti. In bagno non era possibile poggiare nulla attorno al lavabo, ampia e comoda la doccia.

La onsen privata divisa per maschi e femmine, la posizione centralissima su Kyoto con ogni cosa raggiungibile a piedi e la camera molto elegante e comoda. Gentili anche ad offrire la possibilità di free drink al bar con dei gettoni e il caffè a qualsiasi ora gratuitamente. Non abbiamo provato la colazione perché un po' costosa rispetto alla media, li vicino sono disponibili vari posti internazionali dove farla da Starbucks a un posticino dove fanno le ciambelle a vista

Excellent location. Great local restaurants in nearby lanes away from main road. Delicious breakfast buffet, reception smelled amazing. Rooms comfortable.

King room was very tight. We ended up swapping to a twin which was much more comfortable. Staff we happy to assist. Although the live piano of a morning was lovely, it was too loud to fully enjoy breakfast time.

When the hotel booked a taxi for me, on my request, the taxi then charged me an extra 2000 yen then it had cost when I’d gone to the High Street and hailed a cab myself.

The location and availability of local transport, restaurants, shops and tourist sights.

Having booked a ‘Superior King’ room it was poor that, apart from climbing over the bed, you had to edge sideways between the bed end and TV cabinet, a gap of about 30cm, to get to the far side. The rest of the room was fine, but I would choose a different one with hind sight. Photos on net show other rooms with more space.

The staff were very friendly and helpful and spoke very good English. The overall vibe of the hotel is also very friendly, cozy and relaxed. The location is brilliant, right in the center of Kyoto, next to Nishiki Market, Teramachi and many other great spots, including two subway stations to take you to other nice spots or Kyoto station. The hotel is still tucked away in a side street so it's not facing the busy main street all the time. The room was cleaned nicely and, matching the hotels name, you could chose from a wide selection of classical music on the television. The shower was really fancy with many options. The lounge is clearly the highlight here and it's very modern, cozy and relaxing with books you can browse and records you can listen to with headphones. You can use your own headphones too if you don't want to use the ones provided by the hotel. You get a free drink (albeit a simple one, like beer, sake, or wine) or you can chose one of the fancier drinks from the bar, which will cost extra. You can leave your luggage in the reception area before check in and on the same day after check out. You lock it with a key, and an additional code, all by yourself, you don't need to ask the staff. For the room they provided an extra card for the air conditioner, so you wouldn't have to use the key card. I really liked that and hope other hotels will do the same (yes technically you could just put in any card from your wallet, but I liked that they thought about giving you an extra card right away). There is a sento or onsen area which I personally have not used. On a side note: the reception area smelled really good.

Albeit having been cleaned properly, the room radiates a certain "age". You can tell from the carpet, the curtains, the stains on the small table (which won't come off, I've tried), the smell to some extent (although it wasn't super bad, just somewhat stale), and mostly the air condition that I believe has seen its best days and worried me a little bit to be honest. It almost feels like someone took an old timey business hotel, added the fancy shower, the kimono headboard and the lounge, and turned it into a hotel aimed at travelers instead of salarymen. It's about you to decide whether it adds to the cozy vibe, or if it takes away from the fancy. The space between the bed and the window or wall is extremely narrow and the space for luggage is limited although I believe I already had one of the bigger rooms. As a single person with one moderately big suitcase it was just about fine, but with two people and/or suitcases I believe it would be quite a bit claustrophobic. In the lounge one out of three record players could not be used because the needle was missing.

Upon check-in, you are handed tokens to spend on the beer/wine dispenser which I thought was neat. They have a nice selection of Vinyl records to choose from. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We had accidentaly missed the deadline for the Luggage forwarding, and they had contacted another service immediantly and we were able to forward our luggage that same day. It even arrived at our hotel in Osaka before us! They were amazing and we were very grateful for them helping us. Breakfast is worth the $$ spent. Full buffet with all sorts of yummy food. Rooms are spacious and tidy. Water pressure in showers are excelllent. And the hotel itself is super close to a very busy shopping area, and only a few minutes away from the famous Nishiki Market. Overall, my partner and I had a wonderful stay :)

The washer/dryer machine had a lock system, which I thought was neat. Unfortunately after 2 hours of washing and drying our clothes, they were still very damp. You are better off walking to the nearest laundrymat and using the big industrial dryer.

Top Lage. Zu Fuß von der U-Bahn erreichbar. Sehr nah zu den Restaurants und Kneipen in der Potoncho Alley. Ginza gut erreichbar, auch zu Fuß, was bei den vollen Bussen in Kyoto wirklich günstig ist. Absolut Top!

Hôtel incroyable ! Super bien placé, literie confortable, calme tout en étant au cœur de l’action. De plus, consommation de vin/bière par jour est offerte en plus de l’accès au bain. De quoi finir en beauté des journées biens chargées à Kyoto. C’était un séjour parfait !

La chambre est petite, mais grâce à l’espace sous le lit pour pousser les valises en dessous c’est vivable. Oui les chambres au Japon sont petites, mais celle de base ici est vraiment très serrée.
