部屋はまあまあ綺麗で朝食は美味しかった。

窓の外の景色は良くなかった。駅からは10分の登り坂でした。駐車場が少しわかりづらかった。

Breakfast was great, BG's Grill was Great.

I HATED the darkness of the room, it was awful, I would Never stay there again or recommend the hotel because of how dark the rooms were.

Wellness und Pool leider nur bis 20.00h geöffnet , bei vergleichbaren Hotels im gleichem Preissegment sind diese Einrichtungen bis 22.00h (Innenpool) geöffnet. Upgrade in ein Suite - Mega leider konnten wir nicht schlafen, da die Bodenlüftung einen defekten Lüfter hatte derlei ganze Nacht laut in Hochtouren gelaufen ist und nicht abstellbar war.

Extremely disappointing experience, especially considering the price and standard this hotel claims to offer. My room had a strong sewage smell and an unacceptable amount of dust. I had to change rooms twice due to cleanliness issues. The worst part was the service. The manager was dismissive and unpleasant, making me feel as though I could simply pay and leave if I wasn’t happy. Breakfast was also very poor, with an extremely limited selection. Overall, definitely not the level of cleanliness, service, or hospitality I expected. I would not recommend this hotel.

Nice spa area, room was clean and nicely decorated and breakfast was good, lots of choice.

للاسف سابقا كان فيه تكييف.. حالياً غير مكيف والجو كان حار.. حجزت باطلالة وللاسف كان فيه مباني امامي تحجب الرؤية والاطلاله خلف المباني.. الافطار محدود .. وعند صنع البيض طلبنا منه تغيير المقلاة والملعقة لانه يصنع بنفس المقلاة بيض بلحم الخنزير رفض.. والدخول والخروج من الفندق للشارع متعب.. السعر مقابل الحجز كان مرتفع ..

L accueil , le parking et le spa sur réservation étaient parfait

La chambre sous pente n était pas du tout confortable donc nous avons pu changer pour la 2 eme nuit . Ensuite nous étions en rdc avec terrasse avec une chambre plus confortable mais pas de chance nous étions voisin de chambre avec un américain qui a téléphoné en pleine nuit à 3 h du matin sous nos fenêtres et j ai du aller 2 fois lui dire qu il nous réveillait en plein sommeil 😡

Eigentlich schönes Hotel, aber viel zu teuer und durch die Preislage hatten wir deutlich höhere Erwartungen. Schönes Spa und gutes Frühstück.

Preis-Leistung: Für den sehr hohen Preis hatten wir durchweg viel höhere Erwartungen, wurden jedoch immer wieder enttäuscht. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis passt hier einfach nicht. Geruchsbelästigung: Im Zimmer sowie auf dem Flur hat es mehrmals stark nach Abwasser gestunken, was wirklich sehr unangenehm war. Check-in: Die Anreise verlief schleppend – wir mussten über 15 Minuten auf den Check-in warten. Frühstücksservice: Der Service beim Frühstück war wechselhaft; an manchen Tagen aufmerksam, an anderen Tagen eher mäßig.

From the time of arrival until our departure the service was excellent. The breakfast is excellent and it's hard to choose from the wide selection of the buffet. The restaurant service is impeccable, you have to try the tasting menu, it is so much more than the description. The Spa facilities are excellent, the rooms and beds are comfortable and there's really nothing that I could suggest to improve anything. What makes it exceptional and keeps us coming back (this was our 5th stay and the 3rd with our dogs) is the amazing staff, their warmth and friendliness towards us and our huskies, nothing is too much trouble. I'm always a bit sad to leave!

- no AC - room was not cleaned although asked 3 times - noise from some ventilation system near the windows - extremely low value for money

Amazing location, breakfast and hospitality. The free shuttle to and from the station was also a great help with our large suitcases.

Unexpectedly one of the best dining experiences we had in Grindelwald! My sister and I stopped by Bergwelt for lunch, and the food was absolutely amazing. Every dish was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. The service was excellent, and the overall experience exceeded our expectations. If you're visiting Grindelwald, I highly recommend trying this restaurant. It's definitely worth a visit and was one of the highlights of our trip.

Η θέα από το δωμάτιο ήταν πανέμορφη και μαγευτική και προτείνουμε το δωμάτιο με τον Edgar θέα. Το δωμάτιο ήταν όμορφο, μοντέρνο, μεγάλο.

Το πρωινό ήταν μέτριο. Το προσωπικό θα μπορούσε να ήταν πιο επικοινωνιακό.

Excellent location . Beautiful room with lots of added extras such as the free mini bar . Use of spa everyday was also great . Beds were comfortable .

The only issue was lack of air conditioning . They did have a cooling facility but this meant having the fan on all night which was noisy . I appreciate it was high summer season and we had exceptionally high temps this year

Great location and fantastic view from our corner room balcony. The weather was very hot , like much of Europe, which made the room stuffy at times. The air flow system and two doors on the balcony helped create a breeze. Food was excellent and overall look and feel of the hotel was moody and quirky, maybe a bit too dark in the rooms. Only small down sides which I would rate as 4.5 stars if I could. A couple of design choices. 1. In the room made it look tired. The small recessed seat by the door (opposite a wardrobe) was perfect for case storage, so the blue leather was peeling off. Same for the bench at the end of the bed (although not sure what had damaged the leather) 2. The spa has a large hot tub , but only has a strange uncomfortable seat one side, which only has bubbles in 2 specific places, the rest is just a nice warm pool for most people. Let’s not talk about the escape room style button to get the bubbles to start! A total lottery if or when it worked, but made it fun as each person tried a different technique!

We loved everything!

Loved this resort! I booked this with Hilton points for my Birthday trip. I upgraded for 50 francs per night from standard room to cozy eiger view. Worth every penny! The view was breathtaking and i believe my pre note to hotel helped secure best view with some privacy and cooler than roof room. You cannot pay for weather but it was perfect so the lack of traditional AC was a non issue. Breakfast was a large delicious spread. Greatly appreciated the shuttle service to train. Loved the spa area being outside looking at eiger in warm water …. Amazing! The hotel is up a hill you can “cheat” by going up garage and taking elevator ome floor. But for mobility challenged might be an issue. Thanks for an amazing start to my Birthday trip!! And the celebration dessert 2X:-)

Reserved one of the larger (more expensive) rooms due to size of party (4). Shuttle service is fantastic. Room was extremely dark and hot … no AC for 1500$ usd per night. Seemed understaffed. Breakfast was great. Not sure how this is Michelin Key.

Design Hotel mitten in Grindelwald. Je nach Zimmer Kategorie und Lage (2Häuser) des Zimmers sehr außergewöhnlich. Gute Tiefgarage. Restaurant und Frühstück hervorragend. Der Wellnessbereich ist klein und fein, aber Zeit reduziert.

(Das Hotel ist scheinbar auf hochwertige, arabische und asiatische Gäste abgestimmt, deshalb ist der Preis leicht überzogen?)

Extraordinary happy with our stay, not only were there 0 issues but everything was perfect. Food at their restaurant we tried both phenomenal, the staff and particularly the restaurant manager Marcel was able to give great recommendations for our stay and looked after us so well. Sauna and stainless steel pool were better than expected. Bedrooms all have balconies overlooking the mountain range and can see it from the bed.

My only advise might be to lower the extra change of room service to the room seemed a bit high.

I don’t usually write reviews. This hotel was great in many ways….location..3 bedroom residence with amazing views. Service didn’t match that though particularly given the price. We were in the residences which we found out was newer and didn’t have air conditioning which would have been nice to know. The room weirdly only had one key which defeats the purpose of a family going to a 3 bedroom apartment. We kept having to leave the key at the front desk for another family member to pick it up or to have our room cleaned We were there 2 days and didn’t have our room cleaned despite leaving our key at the front desk. This place really could be great which is what we experienced at our next stop of Mont cervin in zermatt. For the very high price, this was disappointing.

Das Hotel an sich ist schön und das Personal weitgehend freundlich. Traumhaft ist der Spa und das die Mitarbeitenden dort sind eine Klasse für sich!

Wir bekamen ein „Upgrade“, aber das Zimmer war richtig dunkel, selbst bei strahlendem Wetter brauchte man Licht, es stank mach Zigarettenrauch aus der Lüftung.

The vents in the room was loud and uncomfortable through the night.

The room was unbearably hot and very dark, with no a/c and a ventilation system that only makes the room warmer. No breeze or air would come through the windows or door either, although we left them open. It was a very miserable 2 nights.

J'étais dans une corner room, haus Wald, la terrasse était spacieuse, excellement orientée Eiger et Wetterhorn, mais gachée par un bruit de fond , fort et permanent, du type air conditionné. L'hôtel est excellent, mais d'un prix plutôt élevé en comparaison d'autres hôtels 4*, aussi bien ou même mieux situés. L'avantage est de pouvoir réserver au dernier moment.

The location is perfect being in view of the majestic Alps, just off the Main Street so without noise but the convenience of shops and restaurants, and in very close proximity to the gondola to go up to First.

The location, views, amenities and staff were amazing.

It didn’t have AC and we were there in June in a heat wave and it was uncomfortable to sleep.

Overpriced wannabe hotel

We booked our room through a travel agent 9 months ahead- in September 2025 for June 2026. Our travel agent knew that a view was very important and right on our reservation it said “panoramic view” so I was happy about that. Not only did it not have a panoramic view, it was a view of a wall, and it was possibly the worst room in the hotel. It was on the first floor, but really felt like underground. The lighting in the room was so bad and the room was so dark that we really had a hard time seeing. Especially late at night or early in the morning -we were having to use the lights on our phones to look for things. Our travel agent tried to help and we had several conversations with the front desk to no avail. They kept blaming it all on her saying that she had booked the wrong kind of room. They didn’t know why it said “panoramic view” on it and that they couldn’t move us. This place is not cheap. I had booked another room on my own at a different location that had a view that I dearly wished I would have kept and saved money and not been treated the way I was treated. As a sidenote, the bathroom was also horrid. It had this huge sink and no room to put anything. I will say the only reason why I didn’t give it one star is because the breakfast was good and customer service. There was good. The customer service at the front desk was pompous and rude. Go elsewhere!
