Dromroe Village University of Limerick

We booked an appartment with 2 bedrooms. Lots of space. Campus is beautiful. Rooms a little 'old' but well equipped (freezer, washing machine)...Missing some kitchen tools, teapot, hair dryer etc.

Perfect for parkrun.

amazing,

nothing

I was a former student of UL so it was great to get the opportunity to return (for work purposes) and experience the village.

The fact it was on the ground floor (but that is just personal - I like being on the first or second floors).

Friendly helpful staff. Warm reception area. No issues

Radiator in room was not working. Otherwise it was fine

Camera essenziale e pulita. Comoda la cucina in comune.

The location is lovely

There was a smell of vomit and there was cob webs and spiders everywhere in the room

The rooms were very comfortable and just right for my needs

There was not a great choice of places to eat with pizza place and shop on site closed.

Difficult to find reception to check in

Very clean and tidy for the whole apartment.

No air conditioner made us feeling quite hot at night in Summer

Quiet, clean, roomy. Perfect for exploring the University grounds. Bus service on campus to city, or a 4km walk.

Small en suite bathroom if you were a couple sharing

Loved the campus and the park. Lovely staff.

Room smelled bad at arrival, noisy neightbours talking loudly and blasting music at full volume very early in the morning and during late hours. Was a bit far from Limerick city center

Man konnte kostenlos parken.

I stayed in Drumroe while I attended a dance event in Co Limerick. It was reasonably priced; I requested an unplanned second night & they were able to facilitate same, again at a reasonable price. Rooms were comfortable & v clean. So also was the kitchen-dining room. Reception staff were friendly & helpful. I would love to stay again in the future.

The hallway of the apartment should have a dim light late at night, so people could see. There was a dim light in the kitchen that we were able to make for.

Stayed here with some team members for a rugby tournament. Great accommodation and facilities. Communal areas and kitchen facilities were great. Beautiful campus.

Staff weren’t very nice

Limerick's Best-Kept Secret Dromroe Village isn’t a 5-star hotel, and it doesn’t pretend to be. It's a fantastic, clean, university-style apartment that provides excellent value. We booked a space for four and got a large, comfortable two-bedroom apartment. Our apartment was spacious, with a dining table, loveseat, and TV. The kitchen was stocked with functional dishes and cookware. Had an under-the-counter fridge, freezer, and a slow but functional washer/dryer combo! We had the whole apartment, but if you rent a single room, you might share the common space. The mattresses were okay; ours was firm, but kids said theirs was great. Each bedroom door had a lock - useful if sharing with strangers. The water pressure was fantastic (use "boost" for back to back showers). The staff were friendly and helpful. The apartment was a bit stuffy initially, but once we opened the windows, it was fine. The university atmosphere was a highlight. My kids loved taking a climbing wall lesson on campus—a very reasonable extra cost. Tips No Window Screens: The windows can open wide but have no screens. Soundproofing: The doors are heavy. If you have little kids in a separate room, bring doorstops so you can hear them. The apartment met and exceeded our expectations. The price was reasonable and the amount of space was exceptional. If you’re looking for a clean, comfortable, and affordable place to stay, this is an excellent choice.

Alles was man braucht ist da.

Brilliant for location for campus event

Poor choice of eateries mainly due to event Clean supply of towels and dirty ones taken away would have been great as stay was for 4 nights

It was clean tidy and great for our stay.

It was nice to meet others staying in the flats, we were all there for the youth Atlantic cup with children competing.

Lovely surroundings Friendly service

It was very clean , staff was very helpfull

I couldn't fault this place

Il bagno era vecchio.

It was a nice private clean room. Access to a kitchen and to room. Staff were helpful.

The mattress was uncomfortable

Instalaciones cómodas y limpias y entorno muy agradable.

Mala relación calidad precio.

Everything was perfect, I was there for the Atlantic Youth Touch and found everything excellent.

Room was spacious and tea and coffee facilities in the shared kitchen. It was great for being close to the sports pitches and also for bus into Limerick.

I couldn’t get my phone to connect to the wifi. The campus Spar was closed over the weekend so had to walk to the one off campus.

I liked the cleanliness and quiet. The Nespresso machine in the communal kitchen was very welcome in the morning. It is a very good spot for walks.

I would have liked a small grocery shop close by.

Great location, fantastic leafy campus and great building design. Staff were so helpful

Not enough cups in apartment for large groups of guests, bins could be labelled so as to know which is recycling and what can go in each. Beds standard double, fine for students but not for a couple when one is well over 6 foot! 😁 No hot water on morning we were checking out

The kitchen was just beautiful. There was everything from normal coffee, pans, and all the dishes you would need to prepare an 8 meal course. Parking behind the dorms was free, and the internet was stable. And I gotta hand it to the staff. They were helpful
