My room flooded one night because of torrential rain and no refund was offered for that night. Very disappointing. My leather hold-all was damaged and I did not sleep all night because of my room was full of rain water.

This hostel is just amazing :-)! The room is clean ,beds comfy and the Aircon an absolute must have! The pool area is nice and you've got a beautiful view from the top! I didn't surf and spent quite a few hours on the terrace watching the world cup which was great ! Big thanks to Jasmin who was always there serving me ice cold beers in this humid heat !!! They do daily activities and stuff ,have a great bar and big common areas ,including a kitchen and free water!!! Highly recommended!!!

La cantidad de escaleras

La ubicación es un poco de dificil acceso por el tema de la tierra suelta o las escaleras, por lo que para personas con dificultades de movilidad no es tan adecuado.

Tal vez colocar algunos ventiladores, ya que el aire acondicionado se enciende por las noches únicamente y por el tema ecológico esta bien, sin embargo, a veces quieres descansar por la tarde y hace calor.

Tuve una experiencia increíble. Las actividades que organiza el hostal son muy entretenidas y las recomiendo mucho. Quiero agradecer a todo el staff por su amabilidad y, en especial, a Leo de security, que con su gran carisma siempre estuvo atento para ayudarnos y guiarnos en todo lo que necesitamos. ¡Muchas gracias!

As acomodações são novas, tem uma piscina e um terraço ótimos. Os funcionários são super atenciosos e promovem as melhores atividades de integração entre os hóspedes. Tem cortina nas camas, ar condicionado potente, banheiro próprio para o quarto e os baús para cada hóspede abaixo da cama. Contam com tomada própria “em cada cama” e o colchão era bom.

A limpeza do quarto e banheiro estavam excelentes, mas só era uma vez ao dia (o que está bem, mas não deixam um tapete ou sequer algo para a própria manutenção do chão do banheiro, então às vezes fica bem sujo de areia e molhado). A acessibilidade é nula, não possuem elevadores para acessar aos quartos (que vão até o quarto ou quinta andares), para chegar também é complicado: a primeira opção é subir escadas (com mala fica pesado) e a segunda é subir uma rampa bem inclinada de chão não asfaltado e meio arenoso). Isso significa que o melhor é pedir um Uber assim que chegar na cidade. Não está super perto da praia, mas tampouco é uma caminhada longa, em compensação tem muitos barzinhos por perto. Eles pedem um depósito de 500 pesos, mas no meu caso, esqueceram de devolver no meu checkout e estou tendo que resolver.

I had an amazing stay here and ended up extending my trip because I enjoyed it so much. Honestly, I wish I could have stayed even longer. The atmosphere was the perfect mix of social and relaxing. It was easy to meet great people and make new friends, while still having plenty of quiet spaces to unwind and recharge. One of my favorite parts was the rooftop area, which was a great place to relax and also get some work done on my laptop. It had a really comfortable vibe and made it easy to stay productive while still enjoying the atmosphere of the hostel. The staff were incredibly welcoming, friendly, and helpful throughout my entire stay. They really helped create such a positive and comfortable environment. I made some fantastic memories here and would absolutely recommend this hostel to anyone looking for a fun, comfortable, and genuinely welcoming place to stay.

Various common areas to hang out and/or work, comfortable beds and spacious rooms with AC, very helpful and kind staff, very clean overall, good location. Many events to socialize organized but the hostel, but no crazy party vibe.

We had some electricity issues during the time I was here which mainly affected the fridge in the kitchen, but that is not necessarily the hostel’s fault and they tried to fix it quickly once they knew about it.

We had an older lady, about 70 in our room. She made us feel very uncomfortable and seemed like she was on drugs, chewing and making all sorts of weird grunting sounds. Would be nice to just be put in a room with people under 30

Un Hostel increíble, la gente te hace sentir en un espacio cómodo, seguro y amigable. Tienen actividades para sentirte en compañía si estás solo. Las zonas comunes son geniales, la temperatura de la alberca es perfecta y la comida es sencilla pero con muy buen sabor.

Location is in the center of town . Near everything . All services you can find in the hostel like laundry and is very fast . The hostel is very clean and comfortable . They do many activities everyday . People working in the hostel are friendly .

Es un hostel muy cómodo, el personal luz y nico muy amables, siempre a disposición si necesitas algo. Si venís solo se hacen dinámicas para que conozcas gente, se hacen actividades en todo el día, así que hay mucho que hacer adentro. Las instalaciones muy cómodas, la piscina y toda el aérea común super limpio.

El personal son los únicos que salvan a este Viajero Sayulita. Muy buena atención por parte de todos los chicos y chicas del hostel

La ubicación. Está súper lejos, subiendo una cuesta larguísima y encima hay un perro que muerde en el camino. Las instalaciones. Los baños están fatal. No hay para colgar la ropa en un sitio donde de el sol. Las duchas muy mal también. Y encima tienes que estar subiendo y bajando escaleras continuamente para todo. Además durante mi semana en el hostel la electricidad ha estado sin funcionar correctamente más de la mitad de los días Precio carísimo en relación a la calidad Siento que Viajero ha descuidado mucho la marca en este Hostel de Sayulita

It's a typical top tier hostel. I was in a private room and it had all of what you would expect. I was told the dorms were confortable too. Breakfast was very good and a convenient option. The hostel has many on-site activities where you can meet people as well as a layout that favours sociability. I didn't do any of their off-sites but there are numerous, including surf daytrips, walks to sunset, pubcrawl etc.

I thought the drinks menu and their rooftop bar was just a little pricy, though all of the cocktails were delicious and generous.

Staff were friendly however my room stank of stale cigarette smoke and was generally not very clean. When I brought it up I was offered for it be cleaned but nothing else. You can’t clean out the smell of stale smoke with general housekeeping. I requested to shorten my stay and moved to another hotel. All my belongings smelt of stale smoke from it. I’ve stayed at 2 other Viajeros and found this one very disappointing.

Super fun place to stay. Easy way to meet people and have a enjoyable place to hang out with friends. Highly recommend if you're traveling single. Dorms were some of the nicest I have stayed in. AC could have been a little stronger but I still slept comfortably.

I liked how the hostel felt like its own world. A backpackers paradise in a way with daily happy hours, activities on property, and local excursions

Staff are trying but the actual facilities are rough (door to bedrooms that were unable to close/lock, bathroom floors soaked from the shower, weak AC in the evenings, and noisy).

Perfect place to stay in Sayulita. Very comfortable beds, super nice people, great yoga class and swimming pool. Close to everything but at the same time not in the center of loud parties. The parties at the hostel finish by 11pm so you can rest in silence if you’re not in a party mode.

The staff is amazing! Everyone at reception is very friendly and always willing to help🫶🏼 The bar staff and volunteers are also super cheerful and easygoing—they really make you feel welcome. It’s a great place for solo travelers since they organize activities where you can easily meet new people.

The location jajaaj . Not because it’s bad, but because the hostel is on a hill, and if you come back tired, the walk up can be a bit challenging

One of the best hostels I’ve stayed at. Super clean, the staff are so nice, and there are activities every evening. Also in a great location, close to bars and the main spots of Sayulita, but far enough away that you don’t hear the nightlife. Highly recommend!

It was all pretty new and the pool area was so stunning! Plus the rooftop bar had a gorgeous view, well worth the steep stairs up!

It would have been nice to have some more lounge type furniture and not all wooden benches but regardless still really great set up for socialising.

Everything, specially the staff. They are great and work to solve any inconvenience that might happen. I also love the hostels vibe

Nous avions une chambre avec 2 lits confortables. Eau chaude et coin cuisine avec frigo. Parfait pour notre séjour. Le ménage est fait régulièrement et le service est super! La piscine et le restaurant sont agréables

L'ambiance est festive ... Parfois un peu trop tard pendant la nuit. Penser à des bons bouchons pour la nuit. Pas très reposant si vous faites du surf tôt le matin...

Not much

The private rooms are amazing. Basically small apartments with comfy beds, daily housekeeping, kitchens, etc. The hostel itself is also great. There are many activities you can join if you want to, but there are many areas to just hang out and chill if you don't want to be social.

Las habitaciones y las instalaciones en general están super bien mantenidas y son muy cómodas. Hay muchas zonas para relajarse, conocer gente, estudiar o trabajar en la laptop, además de un montón de actividades diarias desde la mañana hasta la noche. Muy recomendable para estancias largas.

Le personnel et les animations du soir. Les chambres partagées sont bien conçues avec un casier pour chacun. Cet hôtel est super bien situé car légèrement en retrait pour la tranquillité mais tellement proche de tout à pied comme la plage.

Si je devais porter un jugement même si j’ai adoré mon séjour, ça serait les douches qui sont un peu en mauvaise état et l’eau est froide. Il faut attendre un moment avant que le chaud arrive. Cependant on est au Mexique donc il fait chaud tout le temps.

The location was great, I walked to the same cafe each morning for breakfast. All the events were fun and I really enjoyed everyone I met from all over the world there.

The storage locker was a little too narrow to reach most of my things, but there's not much you can change about that. It would've been nice to know that I could've brought my own lock to use on my storage. My first night I had a bunkmate who snored very loud the whole night and I had to keep punching the barrier between us to get him to stop, but that's a part of the bargain with staying at a hostel so I can't complain too much.

The staff was friendly, cost was fair, very clean, and enjoyed the programming. Went to two yoga classes right upstairs from my room.

It's important to know it's at the top of a hill, lots of walking required to get home. But it's close to the main part of town. Beds were clean but super duper firm and not very comfortable.

All the staff were soooo nice and friendly and helpful. Loved the pool and common areas.

The pool could have used a cleaning more often. It was impossible to get a drink during the day. Day bartender was lovely but WHY does it take 45 minute to get a cocktail when im the ONLY ONE ORDERING. It was actually disgraceful....I started bringing my own booze to the pool. It was actually infuriating.

I love the friendly inviting staff that welcome you in! Everyone is so helpful and informative. The hostel had a very fun vibe! Love the roof top patio/ bar because of the view! They have awesome pizza and great service as well. The brunch is also quite nice and refreshing! And I can’t forget about having the Luxury of the pool! There is always something going on so you never feel alone as well! I would stay again!

I just didn’t love the big hill you walk up 😂 but, hey gets you in shape! lol

SHOUTOUT to the staff at VIAJERO: Jasmine bartender @ the rooftop was awesome, Maleja & Diego @ the front desk were so helpful 100% Cleaning staff did a great job daily! The private room is PERFFECT for a solo traveler. Would return!

If they provided a bit more variety with their tours. More options for transport from the hotel, karts, tours, etc.

Nous avons loué une chambre privée pour 6. L’emplacement est idéal pour la plage et la ville et le personnel est tellement gentil. Ils essaient d’accommoder le plus possible (heure d’arrivée plus tôt, par exemple). Les lits comme tels étaient propres. La soirée trivia était bien animée et amusante. La salle de bain privée est bien. Les cours de yoga étaient vraiment bien; la prof était super. Attention les tapis sont vraiment sales.

L’eau de la piscine était verte. Inutilisable pendant 2 jours. Quand ils l’ont nettoyée, elle est rapidement redevenue sale. Nous ne sous sommes pas baignés. La sdb de la piscine sentait les excréments et les lavabos étaient dégeulasses. La chambre était sale: un papier mouchoir était laissé sur la table de chevet, la craque entre le lit et le mur était poussiéreuse avec des vieilles napkins et autres objets. Une coulisses brune qui partait du lit d’en haut. BEAUCOUP d’escaliers à monter et descendre (la cuisine est dans un autre 4e pavillon déconnecté du reste au 5e, puis le resto dans le 3e pavillon au 5e et le bar au 6e. Bref, un bon coup de ménage partout ferait du bien et compenserait pour le reste…
