Broadford Lodges Skye

Wir suchten auf die Schnelle eine Unterkunft in und um Skye, da unsere Fähre von den Äusseren Hebriden storniert wurde und wir über eine andere Linie aufs Festland gelangten. Der Kontakt mit den Vermietern war unkompliziert und alles hat gut geklappt. Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber und zweckmässig, ich mochte die Matratzen und die Tatsache, dass wir zwei Badezimmer zur Verfügung hatten. Wir würden sie wieder buchen.

Auf hohem Niveau gejammert: Equipment der Küche war knapp, bitte neue Messer...

Great location as a home base while experiencing Isle of Skye

The location was great, easy to check-in and it's a nice accomodation for a couple of nights.

Way too small for 6 people (which was our number) and the sofa bed was really uncomfortable. Needs a few hooks in the living room area to hang jackets/clothes.

Never received the check-in details on msg or email. The location is difficult to find. The given address doesn't lead to the exact location. property is actually a porta-cabin-type construction. Due to the summer and no air conditioning, it was furnace-hot inside. On top of that, only one fan was provided in the living room. We couldn't sleep in the rooms. Not recommended at all in summer, specially.

Location was great, close grocery stores and restaurants

Fridge and freezer not working greatest. Ensure extra garbage bags and toilet paper in units. Only one roll extra and one garbage container had no bags.

Clean and comfortable. Located in a quiet area. The atmosphere was fantastic. Just a 4 minute walk away from restaurant, whiskey distillery and a short drive (5minutes) to a petrol station and grocery store.

Maybe the sofa bed can be a bit more comfortable otherwise nothing bad to say.

La situation Géographique la petite ville de Broadford est parfaite pour naviguer vers tout les points d’intérêts de l’île. Vous y trouverez même une station service et une petite supérette.

En premier le prix qui est au final pas justifié au vue des prestations proposées nous avons réservé deux nuits est pensions être dans un Lodge premium. Nous nous sommes retrouvés sur un vulgaire parking en gravier où etait aligné 6 gros mobilhome. Nous avions pris vue montagne mais au final c’était plus vue sur broussaille. Très peux d’intimité car beaucoup de vis à vis avec les autres Lodge si vous ne prenait pas vue montagne vous aurait vue sur parking et les autres Lodge. Nous étions 6 donc deux ont dormi sur le canapé convertible autant dire que ce n’étais pas confortable (pas de matelas simple petit mousse)! Le Lodge étais salle des miettes dans le canapé, des bouteilles oubliées à côté des lits et la cuisine pas nettoyer, sans oublier qu’il n’y avait pas assez de fourchette pour 6 ! Encore une fois très déçu 😞 au vue du prix.

Nous étions un grand groupe et avions réservés 3 logements. Les logements étaient propres , les 2 salles de douche pratiques mais au niveau vaisselle et ustensiles : le minimum attendu. Proche des restaurants et supermarché

Les logements sont en fait des mobil homes améliorés sur un emplacements de style parking avec vis à vis direct sur les autres logements. Le visuel extérieur pourrait être amélioré et les poubelles pour le 1er logement. Les chambres sont très petites : un lit , une armoire et une table de nuit. Rien pour poser sa valise, pas une chaise ou un porte manteau mural et une seule table de nuit dans la chambre parentale (d'un autre côté la chambre est si petite qu'il serait difficile de rajouter quelque chose ...) Les moustiquaires sont à remplacer. En résumé, très cher au regard des prestations.

The lodge was conveniently located between the two areas we wanted to visit, which suited our plans very well. The room sizes were adequate, and since we were only staying for two nights, space was not a major concern. The two bathrooms were convenient, and enough towels were provided for our family of five.

There was a strong unpleasant urine odor coming from the sofa bed in the living room. It was significant enough that a child could not sleep on it. Due to our tight schedule, we did not have time to report or resolve the issue during our stay. We also arrived approximately 45 minutes early and requested early check-in, but this was not accommodated. We were asked to return at the designated check-in time as the cleaning staff was still preparing the property.

Beautiful quiet lodge at the outskirts of Broadford. Excellent for road tripping around Skye. Well stocked. Beautiful views, incredibly clean and clear instructions on the check-in, check-out and property. My family was very confortable.

The lodge is BEAUTIFUL and really allowed to live our little lodge dreams. Everything was spotless and the space was spacious while cozy at the same time. Cars could park right up at the porch of your lodge. It was very easy to check in by ourselves.

La cabaña está muy bien. Todo muy nuevo y moderno: electrodomésticos, baños, acabados, instalaciones. La ubicación es muy buena. La decoración está muy bien y actualizada.

El precio es muy alto, pero Skye es muy caro. Para otros precios que vi en la isla, creo que merece la pena. Poco malo tengo que decir.

Located at an quiet alley near the centre of Broadford, just a 10-minute walk to supermarkets and small shops. Free parking is available outside, and the house has fully equipped kitchen, two bathrooms.

The rent is a bit expensive, and the bedroom is very small.

Było czysto i wygodnie, było wszystko czego potrzeba. Idealnie czyste i wyposażone we wszystko, co potrzebne. Z pewnością wrócę tam na kolejny pobyt. Gorąco polecam!

Nice enough cabin in a central area for exploring Skye. Was clean and comfortable enough and served us perfectly well for our stay. Check in was easy, staff were friendly and responsive to any questions. We enjoyed our stay overall.

Significantly overpriced in the spring and summer months for what it offers. You're essentially paying the premium for Skye during peak season and the cost reflects the central location and not the quality of the cabin itself. Had it been a third, or even half the price, it would have been more in line with the quality on offer and good value for money. The photographs make it look more appealing than it perhaps is in person. The view didn't quite meet expectations even for a mountain view cabin - the surrounding trees mean that you're looking more at greenery than open landscape. Still pleasant enough, but again, just not quite what we expected from the photos.

L'emplacement à l'entrée de l'île permet de faire des circuits en boucle pour visiter les points les plus importants de Skye. Le lieu est calme.

La taille des lits était limite et les chambres petites. Il s'agit de bungalows proches les uns des autres sans que cela n'occasionne de gêne. Le soir les bungalows sont entourés par les voitures. La vue promise est surfaite. En résumé c'est cher: on paie surtout le fait d'être sur l'île de Skye. Le bon rapport qualité/prix est à l'avantage du propriétaire qui rentabilise le terrain à l'arrière de l'auberge de jeunesse pour routards.

The property was very clean and well maintained. The fittings were all very new and health and safety compliant. It had all the facilities required for a short stay. It's ideal for a small family of 2 adults and 2 children. The bathroom/shower facilities were really good.

It was too small for 4 adults. It was also very hot and stuffy and we would have liked 2 fans, one for each bedroom. We were there in May and it felt hot, would be even hotter in proper summer. The toaster was very dirty and we couldn't use it. Also providing kitchen towels ( since everything else was there) would have been useful. The property is also very close to other similar dwellings, so there was little privacy if the blinds were not drawn. The location itself was a little difficult to find, and needs to be signposted clearly .

Great for our large group of 5 adults 1 toddler. Nice to have 2 bathrooms available. Nice to have a grocery store nearby.

A little far from things we wanted to see, but was fine with the rental vehicle.

You could use the tv.

Behind a hostel and funeral home on a parking lot sits 6 temporary containers (aka lodges). The beds should be thrown away. It was not very clean.

This property was quite close to the shops and yet set in a tranquil location .Closeness to Isle of skye landmarks was another advantage and we enjoyed our trip and journey to various landmarks.Stay was very comfortable and we had a fabulous time as family

Abbiamo trovato la struttura molto carina, ben attrezzata, pulita e perfetta per 5-6 ospiti. Parcheggio comodissimo accanto a casa.

There are 2 full bathrooms, the beds were very soft and comfortable, there was plenty of pillows, and coffee and tea was provided for us if we wanted it!

There was nothing that we didn't like 🙂

Lodge nuovo , molto pulito

The lodge is well furnished, comfortable and easy to reach. It is an optimal spot on Skye, walking distance to a great food stand (the market kitchen, where you can drink the best espresso in Scotland) and a pharmacy (very convenient). The lodge accommodated 6 people really well, and the two bathrooms were a life saver. There is self check-in, which is very good. The instructions were clear and we did no have any blockers. 100% recommended.

Not a big issue, but something worth noting, the front of the lodge has a big glass door and two windows. This makes the lodge really bright and light, but it also means that people will see inside. Please note, there are blinds, it's not the bedrooms and the lodge is not on the road, so it is not at all a problem.

Très bon logement, calme et très bien équipé surtout avec deux salles de bain sauf pour ce qui est des explications, l'adresse donnée dans le mail était a l'exact opposé du lieu et il est écrit vu sur mer, or ça ne l'est pas donc nous avons perdu 30min a chercher le logement en bord de mer alors qu'il était juste derrière l'auberge de jeunesse et pas après

un peu déçus de l emplacement , les photos sur booking montraient un endroit en pleine nature les lodges se trouvent à l arrière d un hôtel avec vue sur les poubelles de l hôtel ( pas très accueillant )

La difficoltà nel trovarlo in quanto non è localizzato bene su google maps. Calcolando il costo di quasi 500€ per una notte quantomeno avremmo gradito trovare il quinto letto fatto anche se divano letto. L’asciugacapelli si surriscaldava ogni tre minuti. Poco assortimento per la colazione

Extrêmement cher pour le faible niveau de confort. Canapé lit très petit et inconfortable ( trop rudimentaire pour 6.) Murs fins comme du papier. Sol et portent qui grincent. Emplacement de parking de la lodge occupé par les autres hôtes ou ceux de l'hostel. Loge Eagle avec vue sur le parking, pas du tout près de la nature.

Staff was helpful. Bungalows are small but well equipped. Great for a one night stay with 2 couples although one room had 2 twin beds but that is noted in the listing. Just something to be aware of.

Sofa bed for 6 is absolutely useless, it is extremely thin and uncomfortable. Ended up sleeping in the floor. Also twin bed is extremely narrow. You can hear the traffic all the time from the cabin, not a nice spot.

The water heater is small for the property size but you just wait a few minutes and should be ok.

It was disappointing that there was no view.

It was a great space for what looks a small lodge from the outside. It all seemed modern and new and in immaculate condition. The kitchen is new and has everything you need and to top it off The water pressure was good which made for a great shower in the morning. It was all round a nice relaxing place to stay and probably unmatched value for money. Oh and the place heated up very quickly which was great considering how cold it was outside?

Lugar distinto y muy tranquilo. Tenía todo lo necesario para disfrutar en grupo. Pequeña pero muy acogedora. Aún siendo así, disponían de un salón-cocina bastante bien equipado y hasta de 2 baños con ducha. No se podía pedir más.

Las camas eran algo blandas y el sillón cama mucho más aún… para 4 personas es ideal, para 5 está bien pero para 6 ya alguno sufre por dormir ahí. Del resto todo increíble.
