Este hostel está en una pequeña ciudad tranquila, la excursiones principales quedan a menos de una hora en coche, más o menos. El área de cocina, comedor y sala de descanso son muy chulas, cómodas para cocinar tus comidas.

La habitación compartida que nos tocó. Eran siete camas en una habitación pequeña, demasiadas para su tamaño. Eso hacía que se acumulara un olor humano que no era agradable, ni se podían abrir las maletas o mochilas a gusto dentro de la habitación.

Duchas espaciosas, habitaciones amplias, cocina y comedor grandes.

La lavadora no funcionaba bien y el personal no nos informó de ello a pesar de pedir ayuda durante los lavados. Nos tuvimos que llevar la ropa empapada (porque la secadora no funcionaba debido a que la lavadora no centrifugaba y la ropa quedo mojada completamente) y buscar una secadora en una lavandería para solucionarlo.

L'objectif est juste de gagner un maximum d'argent avec un prix exorbitant qui n'a aucune justification. Il y'a de la moisissure dans les douches y compris sur le pommeau de douche 😭 des traces suspectes sur les murs des toilettes, la peinture est écaillée. Ca donne une ambiance générale désagréable surtout pour plus de 200 euros la nuit 😡

Sąsiedztwo powala - zakład pogrzebowy :( Sam hostel, jak każdy obiekt w Szkocji, potrzebuje porządnego sprzątania. Czyste były łóżka i "na środku". Jedna z dwóch pralek nie pierze, pranie wychodzi tak samo brudne jak weszło, mało sztućców w jadalni. W pokoju stare i przegnite okno. Kratki wentylacyjne - dramat , do tego odpad niewiadomego pochodzenia w kącie prysznica ... jednak ohyda.

By far and away the best thing about this Hostel is the staff. They are dedicated and trustworthy. They helped me and my children so much throughout our stay and I am very grateful to them.

This is Hostel accommodation so I do know what to expect, but I do think that it was expensive considering it was a shared bathroom.

Justo como se describe, éramos 6 y estabamos juntos en la habitación. Bastante limpia. No utilizamos los espacios comunes de cocina, comedor y sala. Los baños bastante bien, los limpiaban varias veces al día.

Las literas un poco más cómodas.

The hostel is located in a practical spot to move around the island. The shared kitchen, dinim room and living room are ok.

Shared dorms are WAY too small for the number of beds they are packed with. We stayed in a 7 bed dorm and we hardly had space to move and organise our stuff in there (not to talk about the extremely poor ventilation). That room could have 4 dorms max before starting feeling like a refugee camp. Very low value for money.

- big common kitchen and fridges to store your food. - Bathrooms were clean, for an hostel - Was close to Broadford gas station and grocery shop. - Easy to find and with a free parking spot - The girl at the reception was really nice and helped me sort some things.

- Needs improvement in cleaning of the linens. No towels available: there are napkins in the toilets, but keep that in mind if you need to shower. - Awful toilet smell on the first floor. - I don't know why you can't open the window in the common kitchen. the smell was terrible at 8 pm, full of people cooking different foods without the possibility to air the room - bad soundproof - bad security. People didn't really close the rooms (they have a physical key to open/close the door), so everyone in the hostel could get inside. Also, there were only small lockers, where I could only store my laptop but not my backpack or my suitcase as they were too big. I gotta say that in other hostels I was able to do so with no problems.

Struttura carina e dotata di ottimi servizi, come un piano cottura e avere la possibilità di usufruire di lavatrice e asciugatrice.

Cucina ben fornita, ottima per prepararsi la cena. Ottimo punto di partenza per visitare Skye.

L'acqua fredda della nostra camera non funzionava, ma non è stato un problema.

Buona posizione vicino tutti i servizi principali, come farmacia e supermercato raggiungibili a piedi. Non esiste un centro cittadino, è una zona di passaggio chiaramente durante il viaggio. I servizi sono puliti, le docce soprattutto. Cucina comoda con tutto il necessario.

Stanze piccole per il numero di letti. Nella sala comune seppur ben organizzata non offre molto come intrattenimento, carente di giochi ad esempio.

Struttura ben attrezzata per la cucina e bagni puliti comprese le docce. Spaziosa sia per le camere sia per gli spazi in comune.

It's a great location with a warm, inviting staff.

At the end of the day, it's a hostel - a shared bathroom and shared showers. It did not feel super clean. The exterior of the building looks like it was built in the 70s and hasn't been improved since then, but they have clearly made visible improvements to the inside with new flooring and furniture. The furniture was low-budget but looked decent. The bed isn't the comfiest but it was totally fine. The $450 for two nights was outrageous given that the facility is very old -- yet -- there were only three Booking.com rentals available at the time I was looking for the entire Isle of Skye so I was happy to get it.

Correct location

We have spent more than three weeks travelling around Scotland and have stayed in around 20 different accommodations during our trip, so we believe we have a good basis for comparison. We fully understand that the Isle of Skye is an expensive area and that you pay a premium for the location. We paid around £160 for this accommodation, and we have no problem paying that kind of price — we have stayed in places that cost considerably more. Our issue is that, in our opinion, the quality and facilities simply do not justify the price. The hostel feels very basic and austere, with little attention to comfort or detail. More importantly, it seems seriously under-dimensioned for the number of guests it accommodates: there was not enough parking, only two cooking areas and just three tables of four seats for the entire hostel, which we believe has at least 12 rooms. Our rooms (11 and 12) were also directly next to the main common area, with the bathroom located there as well, meaning that whenever you leave your room to use the bathroom, you are immediately exposed to the shared area and other guests, leaving very little privacy. We are more than happy to pay a premium for staying on Skye, but we expected the overall experience to reflect what we paid. Unfortunately, in this case, we felt the value for money was very poor. What makes this even more disappointing is that many of these issues could be improved relatively easily.

Negativ war, dass es so hellhörig war. Man hatte den Eindruck, dass keine Zimmertür vorhanden war. Sobald jemand den Wasserhahn im Nachbarzimmer aufdrehte dachte man ein Hubschrauber landet. Gegenüber war das Klo...

The family rooms were a little warm. Difficult to have open windows with the midges. Our double room was good. Friendly staff and fellow travellers.

What you can expect from a Backpacker Hostel, a bit noisy and not clean and cheap furniture but makes the job, great location in the entrance of Skye. Close to the home house of Drambuie!! As Skye is expensive, the hostel saved our ass!

Niets viel tegen, misschien wat extra tasjes en bestek in de keuken. Bij veel volk hadden we geen materiaal😉 Extra droogkast mag ook altijd, we waren met veel volk en geen tijd gehad om er gebruik van te maken.😉

Er waren heel duidelijke afspraken over het gezamenlijk gebruik van de faciliteiten en de kamer. Iedereen respecteerde deze richtlijnen wat het verblijf heel aangenaam maakte. Ook een prima ontbijtje voor een heel lage prijs. De bedden sliepen ook fantastisch én een zalige douche - beter dan in andere heel dure hotels op onze route. Ook een heel leuke omgeving!

* We didn’t have high expectations for a hostel, so we were pleasantly surprised by this place. * The 4-bed room was perfect for a short stay. * Clean bed linen was included in the price. * Well-equipped shared kitchen. * Clean shower facilities. * Plenty of toilets available. * Large parking area. * Very friendly staff.

* The bunk bed, with a single bed on top and a double bed below, has a ladder positioned directly above the head of the person sleeping on the lower bunk, which feels both uncomfortable and unsafe. * The value for money isn’t outstanding, although accommodation across the island is generally expensive.

Well presented, cute and fairly clean for a hostel. Quiet location with nice market square nearby, and quite accessible.

It's a hostel, and you can't legislate for people in your room who make bizarre sleep noises well into the night. The bed wasn't that comfy, and given the cost we had hoped for better.

It was first time for my girlfriend in a hostel, I have already spent nights in hostels so you will get 2 reviews. From my point of view it had everything, it was rather clean, the kitchen was sometimes dirty but it was due to other people and not the staff. A bit short maybe on the showers, only 4 for the whole hostel and 4 bathrooms. Kitchen was stocked. Parking was good. Location was great, stores and pumps nearby. Staff were friendly. From GFs point of view, we slept in room with 7 people which was too much for her, but there are accomodations with just 1 bed for the two. Bathrooms were cleaner than she thought it would be, and she liked having whole showerroom for herself.

No privacy in room around bed, and other guests not showing equal respecr for shared spaces. Upper bunk beds dont have plug-in. Would be great if they added curtains for bed with a little light in each for extra privacy.

It was a place to spend the night, and nothing more.

The room was too small for four people, practically all space was taken by beds, no place fo luggage or personal belongings. The beds were uncomfortable and the bunk bed was not stable, moving with every body movement. The only service was that we got keys. Too big price for this.

Walkable to some restaurants

Overpriced. Electrical outlets did not work. Attached to a funeral home?

I have never been to a hostel that clean and well maintained before. Staff was great, really friendly and gave us tips for local bars and restaurants.

Price is incredible for a hostel. Room gets very hot and there was only one blanket.

This was one of the bigger disappointments of our trip. Considering the price, especially on Skye where accommodation is already very expensive, we expected a bit more service. At the very least, the beds should have been made — we had to put the bed linen on ourselves. That felt quite disappointing for the price paid. Other than that, everything was fine.

A good hostel with good amenities and a nice vibe. Lots of smaller rooms meaning less beds per room and generally a bit quieter. More privacy as you share a room with less people compared to many other hostels I've visited. The beds were clean and comfortable and I managed a good sleep on both nights of my stay Great showers although I was up very early to use them and had heard stories of no hot water or water pressure issues during high demand. Fortunately I didn't experience any of this. The kitchen and dining area's were adequate and the lounge was very comfortable and a nice place to hang out in the evenings. Overall it was a nice stay. Accommodation can be pretty scarce or very overpriced on Skye so this was budget friendly and ideal for the solo traveller.

A minor gripe but given the size and number of rooms/beds, I felt the dining area with only 3 small tables was not sufficiently adequate during meal times.

Fajny hostel, kiedy nie chce się przepłacać za spanie. Mieliśmy pokój 4-osobowy z jednym łóżkiem dwuosobowym i dwoma łózkami piętrowymi. Plus za umywalkę w pokoju. Fajna duża wspólna kuchnia i salon. 4 dostępne prysznice z ciepłą wodą.

The location is good, the staff super-friendly and the premises well organized and clean.

It is a hostel. So as long as you don‘t expect more than a hostel in insulation, noises and shared bathrooms you‘ll be fine.

The people working there are really nice and I like that they focused on recycling both of previous visitors food supplies and the trash. The place overall is quite nice and not too far to drive to popular hiking areas 30-60min. Also mostly liked the kind of people who stayed with this hostel.

It was quite noisy in the bedrooms, both the metalwired beds (which btw you can feel going to your skin as you lie) the sound of the sink both in your room and from the room next door, and when I say loud it's VERY loud. The bed sheets were washed but not clean, spots and you also have to make the bed yourself. Also not ideal with the angled ceiling. Lockers are very small and only for small personal objects like wallet and keys.

Ostello gestito da staff gentile. Atmosfera molto tranquilla, non il solito ostello con tanti giovani che si trovano in sala comune la sera: più un posto per visitatori di ogni età che cercano un posto sull'isola di Skye che non abbia prezzi folli! Sala cucina apprezzata e piccoli accorgimenti come tappi per le orecchie in omaggio.

Non è stato semplicissimo trovare il posto, seguite le indicazioni per Backpapers lodge, anche l'ostello è lì. Il primo set di lenzuola ricevute aveva problemi di pulizia, ma alla reception le hanno prontamente sostituite. Letto a castello cigolante, ci ha tenuto svegli la notte perché a ogni piccolo movimento sui letti cigolava abbondantemente.

L’une des auberges la moins cher de l’île de Skye. Plutôt bien placée, pas trop loin de Kyle of Lochalsh et des points touristiques de l’île, cette auberge était confortable (avec un coin salon super), pratique (avec une machine à laver et lave vaisselle) et propre.

Il n’y a pas grand chose à faire à Broadford.
