Bath on balcony too difficult to fill, everything else brilliant

Lo unico que rescatamos positivamente es la atencion del staff y el restaurante.

El baño de la habitación estaba en muy malas condiciones; la ducha y lavamanos llenos de sarro. El boton de la cadena del WC sucia tambien. Las sabanas de la cama estaban rotas, indigno! La terraza de la pieza en mal estado también. Lo peor sin duda, fue la falta de transparencia con nosotros, puesto que jamas se nos dio aviso que teniamos a menos de 20 m una construccion con ruido todo el dia y polvo. De haber sabido, no veniamos! Uno busca descanso y se encuentra con este tipo de sorpresas… En las areas comunes, las lamparas estan sucias y rotas, la piscina en mal estado y si uno nada dentro, llena de pelos y bichos. De verdad lo encontramos una falta de respeto.

The food was the best food I've ever had at a hotel. This exceeded our expectation the most and really elevated the entire exprerience. The chef came out to greet us and would make whatever we wanted - although we stuck to the menu because it was all amazing. The included breakfast was incredible and a lot of food and drinks for being included. The staff really got to know us and were awesome.

We got the room with a private pool but never used it. I wish we got the rooms on the second floor with a view.

La comida cara pero es espectacular. La limpieza si creo que deberían poner más atención por ejemplo teníamos alberca privada y estaba sucia desde que llegamos y no la limpiaron en toda la estancia. El servicio de algunos meseros es muy muy malo muy lento.

This property was safe and made us feel like our second home. If we needed anything at all they were most accommodating! In fact one night we stayed with friends out of town and they contacted us making sure we were ok which made us feel good! Everyone on the staff was amazing!

Elegantly designed property, amazing pool and beach access. Staff is very friendly and helpful. We had some of the best food we’ve ever tasted at the on site restaurant. Everything was fresh and delicious. We would highly recommend this resort to anyone planning a trip to Puerto Escondido.

Casona Sforza is amazing, don't hesitate to book! The hotel and rooms are absolutely gorgeous and the food is seriously top-notch. We looked forward to having all of our meals there during our stay.

only complaint was that there were a lot of folks on work calls in the shared spaces (some without headphones), which was off-putting since the shared spaces (bar) are really quite limited and we paid a lot to stay there and relax. the rooms are really spacious with desks so this feels like something the hotel could be more mindful of discouraging when you check in and they walk you through the hotel policies

Beautiful hotel remotely located and a great place to escape and unwind. The staff are extremely friendly and the restaurant just received a Michelin star so food impeccable. The route to get there is bumpy, literally, but worth the effort.

Magical, dreamy, incredible!! Luxurious rooms and such a well run resort. I can really see how it got Michelin Stars. The staff were incredibly friendly especially Margo, Roberto and Diana. They make you feel as if you are part of the family the minute you arrive. So attentive to your every need. The restaurant had some of the best food we had eaten in Mexico. A husband and wife run kitchen and locally sourced organic produce from their local farm. Absolutely superb! Our favorite was catch of the day and the steak. The architecture of this resort is so unique we just couldn’t stop taking pictures of it. Steps from the beach we enjoyed a private sunset dinner and horse riding! We hope to come back soon.

El hotel muy bonito y la gente muy amable, lejos de un servicio espectacular, me parece que los precios están muy elevados para lo que es, es muy caro y los servicios de taxis me parece que están fuera de órbita, el del aeropuerto no, pero los demás que requieras es muy caro, conviene rentar auto en el aeropuerto sin duda

Everything was absolutely amazing

I loved staying in the suite comfortable bed the brightness the hot tub a plus. The restaurant dishes were amazing. The staff amazing. This is definitely a place to relax and disconnect and enjoy your spouse or significant other.

The only thing I would suggest would be to add more Oaxacan food like mole, Chiles rellenos.

I loved the architecture, and the food was some of the best hotel food I have ever had. The staff were all very friendly.

You could not swim in the open water as it was too rough and there were quite a lot of big ants in my room when I got there.

ES RIDÍCULO que el Check in es hasta las 3:00 pm y el Check Out es a las 11:00 am !!!!! La gente del front desk muy payasos parece que te hacen el favor de atenderte y no te resuelven. Servicio bastante malo, comida bastante bien, todo, el hotel muy incómodo, hace mucho calor y no sirven los ventiladores o fallan, por lo que que cuesta te esperas algo Mucho Mejor, el hotel esta demasiado sencillo y la ubicación no es buena, la empresa que les da el servicio de Taxis unos rateros mas caro que en NY

Las habitaciones tienen muy mala calidad para los 700 dls por noche que cobran. Las camas de poca calidad, sábanas y toallas. Pero lo que más deja que desear es el aire acondicionado de la habitación. Excesivamente caro para la pobre experiencia en la habitación. Todo lo de más muy bien. Sobre todo el servicio en los alimentos, que son de gran calidad. El servicio de ángel y de temach es de primera.

Amazing service

Everything was perfect! The food in the restaurant is delicious at any time of the day! All the staff are super friendly and professional specially both waiters Fernando and Maria which were extra attentive and helpful during all of our stay! I highly recommend you stay at this beautiful hotel for a relaxing and pampering experience! Thank you again for the whole team

The location is excellent, and you have the beach in front almost completely by yourself (but no swimming due to the current). The room was superb; the bed was super comfy, and the view was stunning. The staff were great and always made sure we stayed hydrated by serving us water whenever we came down to the pool or bar. They also served us lunch by the beach, which was great. The food in the restaurants was really good, especially the ceviche. Great and fast wifi in the restaurant/pool area.

The restaurant menu was a bit small; we only stayed two days, so it was not an issue for us, but staying longer will definitely be repetitive. The pressure in the shower was not the strongest, and the wifi was weak in the room.

Super luxury, the drinks are spectacular , the Menu was super ! Bet is amazing , the rooms are super good , super welll decorated . The pool is splendid.

The property is quite stunning, the rooms are spacious and nice, and the coffee is really great! The common areas are very nice and with a lot of spaces, so it never feels crowded.

The prices are high compared to other similar hotels, the food is good but not everything is great (breakfast is quite meh), the drink menu could be improved.

The circular pool would be nice if it were clean.

Got sick day 2 from putrid water problems in the bathrooms, also the drains seem to be breaking and so you have that smell everywhere. We had to move to a properly run hotel up the coast and recover with daily doctor visits. The place doesn't seem to have anyone managing anymore, it might have been like a hotel once, but you're pretty much on your own there. It's also not spacious as it seems and the beach is barely usable. Head north.

Design, location, staff, only 11 rooms so makes it very relaxing

Food was good, but would have preferred more Mexican inspired options. About 3/4 of the menu were Italian or international dishes. Had some issues with the warm water, some minor nuisances with the design of the doors making them hard to open and close. Staff is super helpful, but only available 8am -10pm, which could be a problem. The beach, like many in the area, is too rough for swimming most of the time.
