The location was great - a ten minute walk from the train station and the hotel sent very clear directions the day before we arrived. This is the best boutique hotel we have stayed in. The whole vibe of the hotel was relaxed, welcoming and so stylish. Our room was fairly small, but perfectly designed and very comfortable. The staff at the hotel were wonderful and they did everything to make us feel welcome from the sweets on arrival, bath salts, complimentary drinks in the reception and also in the fridge in our room. The breakfast each day was a wonderful tray of food - we stayed three nights and the breakfast was different each day. We also enjoyed the complimentary noodles served from 8pm every evening. This was our fourth stop on our month long visit to Japan and it was definitely our favourite - if we could give it a 6 star rating we would. Highly recommended.

Das Hotel ist der Wahnsinn. Wir haben uns vom ersten Moment an wohl gefühlt. Dort stimmt jedes Detail. Die Angestellten sind so wahnsinnig nett. Unser Zimmer war super schön und es gab so viele kleine tolle Details (Kaffee umsonst rund um die Uhr, tolles Frühstück , jeden Abend eine leckere Suppe umsonst). Eine absolute Empfehlung. 10/5 Sternen 😁

Our stay at Hotel Kanazawa Zoushi was among our favourites in Japan. I have never experienced this kind of service in hospitality before. When we arrived we were given detailed explanations about the hotel, the surroundings as well as the facilities. Furthermore, we were welcomed with a sweet treat - dango. My wife said it was the best dango she had on the whole trip. Our room was comfortable and included everything you'd expect from a Japanese hotel. I loved the classical design of the room, including the wooden paper sliding windows. On top of all of this, the hotel offered free Udon for dinner which we made use of during our first night in Kanazawa (out of two nights). If it wasn't for our stay at this hotel, Kanazawa might not have ended up being our favourite city destination on our trip. Thank you to the staff for making it unforgettable.

We stayed in the Fuji suite because I wanted more room to spread out a little and the layout was great. The beds are upstairs with the everything else downstairs - plus you have to access stairs to get to the suite. That was not an issue for us but if you have an issue with stairs it should be noted. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the location ideal. We walked everywhere…except one day we called a cab because it was dumping rain. I liked having the coffee bar available in the lobby because we like a cup of coffee early in the morning and sometimes that is hard to find! We didn’t include the breakfast because we aren’t big breakfast eaters.

We loved our suite, but it was a little dusty as there are a lot of beams in the ceiling that needed to be cleaned better. They likely are hard to access, but a thorough cleaning should be done more frequently. I also got charged for a room key/card that I didn’t turn in upon check out. I think I left it in the room - as it never turned up in my personal luggage. It wasn’t an actual key which I could understand - but those generic cards that many hotels use. I always get 2 keys because you need one to power the room and with 2 of us if we wanted to leave separately with a key you would have no power in the room for the person staying in the room.

Das Hotel ist sehr gut gelegen. Das Zimmer war sehr schön gestaltet und ausgestattet sowie sauber. Das Personal war sehr freundlich. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker, es gab freie Getränke im Zimmer und in der Lobby und abends gratis eine sehr leckere Udon-Nudelsuppe.

Gorgeous appointed boutique style hotel, with outstanding customer service and amenities. We loved the complimentary items in the bathrooms, minibar and lobby refreshments. Very thoughtful! We also used the bath salts given on arrival :)

Our aircon was not very effective. The staff were very kind to help lower it to the coolest setting, but unfortunately it just isn’t very strong cooling. The room is without power before arriving, so on arrival it was so hot and stuffy and took many hours to make the room tolerable. Even after a full day of cooling, the room temperature was still warm and stuffy.

Una struttura davvero bellissima e curata nei dettagli, camera molto grande e accogliente. Il personale è estremamente gentile e fornisce gradite attenzioni a partire dal dolce benvenuto che viene riservato agli ospiti, ai sali da bagno offerti all’arrivo e alla camera dotata di molti comfort, incluso l’accesso a bibite gratuite. Colazione asiatica molto interessante. Posizione strategica tra la stazione e i vari luoghi da visitare. Ci siamo sentiti accolti e coccolati. Molto consigliato.

הצוות אומנם לא יודע אנגלית כל כך טוב אך היו נחמדים. המקלחת ממש גדולה ומרווחת, מאוד נהנתי ממנה. הייתה לנו גם ארוחת ערב במלון שהם מגישים חינם למי שרוצה, היא הייתה טעימה. הם נתנו בחינם שתיה במיני בר ובלאונג' למטה במלון, כלום לא עלה אקסטרה כסף.

אולי רק להוסיף כיסא או שרפרף בכניסה לחדרים כי צריך להוריד או לשים נעליים כשיוצאים ונכנסים מהחדר ופחות נוח בעמידה בחלק מהנעליים, מעבר לכך הכל היה ממש טוב, תמשיכו כך.

מקום יפיפה, מעוצב בטוב טעם, מגישים מרק אודון נהדר בערב ויש שתיה חמה וקר למי שמעוניין במהלך היום. ממליצות מאד

The staff was fantastic - they have a system for helping you make restaurant reservations. I mentioned wanting a special restaurant because it was my birthday, and the next day they sent a bottle of sparkling wine to my room. The rooms are spotless and modern, and the lobby is cozy and welcoming. This was a very enjoyable stay. Bonus - it’s easy walking distance to the local market and lots of great restaurants.

Struttura piccola, molto curata, probabilmente la più bella in cui abbiamo soggiornato in tutto il nostro viaggio in Giappone! Posizione comoda, sia alla stazione che per visitare la città, (Nagamachi, Higashi Chaya, i giardini di Kenrokuen e Omicho Market sono tutti raggiungibili a piedi in breve tempo). Camera molto bella e ampia, in stile giapponese ma con ogni comfort, ampio anche l’ambiente bagno con stanza doccia/vasca. Staff molto gentile, disponibile e premuroso; accoglienza di livello, al nostro arrivo ci sono state offerte diverse bevande e un piccolo spuntino e alla partenza ci hanno omaggiato di un sacchettino di snack locali. Nell’incantevole zona comune era inoltre possibile consumare la sera, un delizioso yonaki udon (offerto) o la colazione giapponese (come extra). Fantastiche amenities in stanza quali i kimono da camera o i prodotti doccia dalle meravigliose profumazioni naturali. Ci tornerei assolutamente!

The location is excellent, on a quiet but convenient, picturesque street. We absolutely loved the room, and the amenities were a nice bonus. Great recently done room, which went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable.

Absolutely lovely staff, very attentive and welcoming. Loved the little extras like the free beverages, welcoming sweets and bath salts, nightly Udon noodles. Beds were very comfortable and catered for pillow choices, with good sized rooms. Close to seafood market and train station. Highly recommended.

Magnifique hôtel design et confortable bien placé proche du marché de Kanazawa. L’équipe est adorable, avec de nombreuses attentions pour les clients. Les chambres sont parfaitement équipées et décorées, avec des salles de bain intégrant douches et baignoires japonaises. Nous avons adoré notre séjour et notamment le petit bol de udon offert le soir.

Nous avons adoré l’hôtel Zoushi, à la fois moderne et à taille humaine. La décoration est très belle, les chambres hyper confortables avec douche et baignoire japonaise. Mais surtout le service est digne d’un 5 étoiles avec de nombreuses attentions proposées par une équipe adorable. C’est une des meilleures expériences d’hôtel que nous ayons vécues. Et c’est tellement plus authentique et marquant que de descendre dans un grand hôtel de chaîne.

Tout était parfait. Notre seul regret est de ne pas avoir pu y prendre le petit déjeuner car nous n’avions pas compris qu’il fallait réserver avant 18h la veille.

La struttura è curata nei minimi dettagli, molto accogliente e pulita. Si trova in una zona molto comoda per visitare la città, ma allo stesso tempo vicino alla stazione per potersi spostare. Lo staff è molto gentile, disponibile e parla bene inglese.

Hotel was Japanese-style ingericht, met veel natuurlijke materialen. Fraaie lobby die uitnodigt om contact met medereizigers te maken. Ruim aanbod van gratis drankjes in de lobby en op de kamer.

Beaucoup sont dithyrambique sur cet hôtel et honnêtement il est bien mais ne vaut pas le prix que nous avons mis, nous étions dans une 1 chambre au RDC donnant sur parking donc tres sombre, très humide (serviette constamment mouillé) Nous sommes arrivés à 21:37 pour profiter des nouilles gratuites 7min de retard uniquement et nous avons eu un refus Le personnel nous as recommandé le pire sushi de notre vie pour dîner à côté de l’hôtel. Bref je ne comprends pas cette note

The hotel was very well located. Easy to walk to from the station and to most sights. It was clean and the staff were very helpful. We enjoyed the breakfast and the little extra touches provided by the hotel. The family room was well designed and a great size.

The property is thoughtfully designed and well maintained. The rooms are spacious and there is a well equipped shower and bath tub area.

It is about a 5-10 minute walk from Kanazawa Station. As long as you are fine with the walk, the stay is perfect!

We enjoyed the stay. The staff was very friendly. There are a lot of freebies in this hotel, which of course is always appreciated (drinks in the fridge, coffees, soup in the evening). The room was clean and cozy.

I think the breakfast can be skipped. It wasn't bad, but you'll find better value options elsewhere. There's an onigiri shop just across the street ... I also have to admit I struggled with the light switches in the room, but maybe that was just me.

Abbiamo soggiornato al Kanazawa Zoushi durante il nostro viaggio di nozze e ci siamo trovati benissimo. Il personale è stato sempre gentilissimo, attento e disponibile per ogni richiesta. La camera era molto pulita, curata e ben fornita. Ci hanno accolto con un dolce di benvenuto, la sera offrivano udon preparati da loro e la colazione era interamente giapponese, perfetta per vivere un’esperienza autentica. Hanno anche notato che eravamo in luna di miele e ci hanno fatto trovare in camera una bottiglia di spumante con un biglietto di auguri e un piccolo disegno fatto da loro: un gesto davvero dolce. Un soggiorno accogliente, curato nei dettagli e assolutamente consigliato.

The location was excellent, just down a pedestrian street away from major traffic - but close enough to walk to all of the major attractions and central bus/train station. The room was wonderful, modern, great private bathroom and bath. Comfortable bed - plus there were many free inclusions - free drinks in the bar fridge, free Japanese dinner and sweets in the evening. Coffee, tea, ice, juice available at all times. Breakfast was an optional extra. They also provided lovely bath salts for each of the nights booked. It was such a great place to spend the last two nights of my holiday.

Everything was great. The staff were available but not intrusive. The only minor thing - the convenience store was 15 walk:) but as they provided so many extras - it wasn't really a problem

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Kanazawa Zoushi and wouldn't hesitate to return. As a family of four, we were really impressed by how spacious the room was, which can be hard to find in Japan. Check-in was a fantastic experience and made our stay even more memorable. The hotel was spotlessly clean throughout, and the staff were exceptionally welcoming and helpful from the moment we arrived. We also really appreciated the complimentary drinks, which were a lovely extra touch. If you're looking for a beautiful, comfortable hotel with excellent service in Kanazawa, we highly recommend Hotel Kanazawa Zoushi. It was one of the highlights of our trip to Japan.

The best thing about this hotel was free drinks, coffee, and free Udon meal at night!!!! It is also one of the most aesthetic, art-level hotel. All the details were well-thought out. Also one of the staff was very warm and friendly, I really enjoyed our conversation. The location of the hotel was very good. Just a short walk from Oumi market, two convenience stores. One minute walk from the very good massage place (Elite Massage)! I wish I could stay longer.

Location and overall design

We have paid for a better room but received a room on a ground floor with a horrible view, with a lack of privacy, close to lifts and reception. It was not cozy at all. But overall, the hotel was nice, except our particular room.

The hotel was great, location was wonderful and it helps that Kanazawa was out favourite spot of our Japan trip. The hotel was so welcoming, the staff were so friendly and the little touches made everything 10/10. Breakfast was great, and as a vegetarian the team were very accommodating.

The hotel is very well located, 7 mn walk from the train station East exit. Quite close to a lot og places. It was my birthday during our stay and they made the day even more special by giving me a hand made card and sparkling wine. The team is very helpful and lovely. Would strongly recommend it.

Exceptional little boutique hotel in Kanazawa. The hotel is situated in a quiet historical street. Guests are greeted with traditional sweets upon arrival. The check-in process is effortless, bags are carried in the room while you are enjoying the little sweet treats. Our room was quite small, but actually everything fit in there surprisingly well. The bed was big and comfortable, there were nice pyjamas, cosmetics supplies, the room had a full bath and hotel provided bath foams etc to make the experience just as having a private little onsen. Breakfast was superb! Loved the almond jelly with ginger marmalade ... still think about it :). There is free coffee, juice, water station in the lobby of the hotel. Staff is very attentive and friendly. Highly recommend this hotel!

A bit hard to find at first.

Das Hotel lag ideal, in einer ruhigen, autofreien Zone. Zu Fuß war sowohl der Bahnhof als auch das Stadtzentrum gut erreichbar. Alle Sehenswürdigkeiten waren bequem zu Fuss erreichbar. Das Hotel selbst war sehr sauber, das Personal außerordentlich freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Frühstück war abwechslungsreich und liebevoll zubereitet, mit täglich leichten Variationen. Es gab eine große Getränkeauswahl und sogar Zusätze für das Bad.

Location was very convenient, just off a main intersection on a quiet street; about 15-20 min walk from Kanazawa station. We really enjoyed the intimate and cozy atmosphere especially the free ramen in the evening as well as free beverages in the main lobby/sitting area (the twig tea was delightful). We opted to do breakfast on our own (eat-in cafe with a proper cup of coffee steps away or Family Mart a short walk). Lots of local bus stops at the main intersection so easy to get around if you don't want to walk (board back, exit front; tap on/off with credit card since Suicca does not work in Kanazawa). Room was overall comfortable, clean, and had a very neat walk-in large shower room with multiple heat/cool settings. Also appreciated the free daily water bottles and restocked beverages in the mini fridge. Staff were very attentive and even gave us personally addressed snacks upon check-out. Would recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a quiet and boutique experience in the center of Kanazawa.

There was a second large mirror in the closet which was a bit odd and not convenient to use as there wasn't enough light in the bathroom area but we made it work. There were also only 2 hooks and only later realized the metal stand was for towels (which we had tucked out of the way to accommodate our luggage, have to be creative). No coin laundry in the hotel (several minute walk) but this was known upfront so we just planned laundry before/after this stay.
