We were pleasantly surprised with everything about this hotel. From the moment we walked in we were delighted with our choice to book here. The staff were amazing and the room was way bigger than I expected. It was also spotless and nicely decorated. The location was within walking distance of everything we needed. We greatly appreciated their hospitality and Sebastian was incredibly accommodating. We would certainly stay here again!

I loved everything about this hotel! The hotel was very quiet and clean, my room was big and well equipped with a safe, fridge, desk, tv, and an amazing air conditioning which kept the room very cool! The air conditioning was a save during our stay because it was very hot in rome, and our room stayed very cool and saved us from the outside heat! The staff of the hotel were very kind, available to assist and help at any time. The location is very good, near the termini train station(about 7 minute walk) , in a nice neighborhood! It felt very safe with lots of restaurans nearby. The distance from the colosseum is about 15 min walking so we really liked the location. A special thanks to Marco and Sebastian who were very kind and helpful! For me and my partner this was a great value for money - kind staff, good location, quiet , clean and with a very very good air conditioning which is not trivial in rome - what else could we ask for? Thank you!!

The location was excellent. It was really handy to walk a short distance from the train station. The room itself is clean and sufficient.

Well, the room is sufficient, there is very limited room to put your bags or any of your clothes. There’s a few hangers that’s it. It would be great to have a shelf for personal items as the bathroom had no space with no counter space for personal items.

Hard to find the place, very small sign hide and unnoticeable. It’s like Sophie hotel is attached to Diana hotel( big sign easy to find) . I know that it’s nothing about the hotel , but we park our car for a while and someone smash our window car and breaking in . Just to be aware

The staff were fantastic , Sebastian for communication and always being on hand to answer my queries before I arrived, Omar for assisting when we checked in an filled us with his knowledge of Rome, and marco on helping us check out with cases etc. the hotel is super cute in a great position in Rome, and was spotless and clean.

The location was great, a stones throw from Termni train station. The welcome when we first arrived from Sebastian was exceptional, water on arrival, went through everything, showed areas on the city map. The room was spotless, clean and the air conditioning was brilliant, just what you need after a long day in the intense heat. The bed was comfortable and very quiet room. Just perfect. The whole hotel and all the team Omar, Marco were great. Communicated via WhatsApp just a great personal touch. Cannot recommend here enough.

Sebastian was extremely kind and welcoming for my entire stay! The rooms were very nicely designed and the rooftop was outstanding. It was also super close to the train station. I'd definitely come back again.

Lovely little hotel just a short distance from the train station that was perfect for our evening arrival in Rome. The service was great and the rooftop is a treat. Special thanks to Sebastian who welcomed us with a smile and offered some wonderful local places to eat.

The hotel was easy to get to from the airport by taxi. Sebastian was in contact with us before check in to offer assistance and to see if we needed any exra accommodations. He was very friendly on check in and during our 1 night stay. He offered restaurant and sight seeing recommendations. As well was a great bar tender for the roof top terrace. 5 star for his friendliness and professionalism.

Sebastian was very helpful and we had a great stay, loved the easy location to train, close and central to all ten main attractions of Rome. The roof top terrace was great and a comfortable clean room.

The hotel offered a wonderful stay, with excellent cleanliness, well-functioning air conditioning during the 37°C days in Rome, and staff who genuinely made it clear that they were there to help. The hotel is safe, quiet, and within walking distance of Roma Termini station. Although the Termini area can feel a little unsafe at night, the hotel’s location and immediate surroundings are perfectly safe. Marco and Sebastian in particular were extremely helpful with everything I needed. They were friendly, kind, and always welcoming. If I visit Rome again, I would definitely stay here again

Great location, an easy walk to the train station and popular sights. We had been told that being near the train station isn’t the best area of town, but it honestly was fine, lots of nice restaurants and shops around. The hotel was clean and stylish, the rooftop terrace was lovely with a great view, with an affordable bar. The room was comfortable and clean. The staff was awesome and so attentive, we had great service from Marco and Sebastian! We would return again :)

Very close to Termini, which was ideal as my flight got in late on a Sunday night. Just a couple of minutes walk in a safe and well lit area. Lots of restaurants and bars close by. Staff were so incredibly helpful, with a warm welcome. Room was very comfortable with excellent aircon. Staff were really attentive and nothing was too much trouble. Even after a long flight they brought me a drink on the roof terrace late on a Sunday evening. Check out is early at 10am but Marco took care of my luggage until my friends arrived later that day. I stayed elsewhere in Rome for the rest of my visit but would definitely stay at Sophie Terrace again.

Thanks to the comfortable accommodation and very friendly staff, I had a wonderful holiday. The receptionist, in particular, was incredibly attentive, and thanks to their care, I had a highly satisfying stay without a single inconvenience.

Rooftop garden not as expected

Very close to the train station and the Metro which made it easy to get around Rome. The staff could not have been more helpful and really went that extra mile to recommend restaurants and other venues

The rooms are a bit small and the location was not fully ideal for our specific plans, but we still had a good stay! What truly made our experience great was the outstanding service. We liked everything. It is easy get breakfast from cafes close to the hotel. And we also had a picnic breakfast at the hotel roof top terrace.

La chambre est super agréable et confortable, avec 2 types de coussins différents ! C’est vraiment en plein centre de Rome mais on n’a pas été gêné par le bruit et surtout l’accueil était exceptionnel, avec de très bons conseils de visites et restaurants par WhatsApp.

The staff was really helpful. Sebastian helped us get settled in, and have us a lot of great recommendations for lunch/dinner. And the evening guy (I didn't catch his name) was very helpful too (helped with extra keys and set us up for spending time on the terrace)

Location - so close to Roma Termini but far enough that you didn’t know it. Good sized room and bathroom. Good selection of restaurants within walking distance. We walked to everything we wanted to see.

Excellent location for sight seeing and airport transfers. Service was exceptional with the wattsapp system. Beautiful views of the city while you relax after a day of tourism.

The curtain over the deal was constantly in the way of the coffee station and working area. Should be in the window frame.

A tale of two things. The room itself was comfortable and well air-conditioned, and the staff were genuinely some of the warmest and most attentive we encountered in Rome – sincere, helpful, and clearly proud of what they do.

Unfortunately the acoustics let everything down. From 5am, a group of local girls staying across different rooms were shouting and stomping through the corridors – loud enough that other guests began angrily confronting them in the hallway. Every sound carried as if there were no walls at all. What should have been a restful first night in Rome turned into something else entirely. For a city hotel, soundproofing between rooms and corridors should be a basic expectation. Would return for the staff alone, but would request a quieter room far from the corridor.

The hotel is in an excellent location near Termini. The terrace has a nice view of the city and access to the bar at the neighbouring hotel.

Not all guests are offered the breakfast box and it's unclear how the staff decide who 'deserves' it.
