Hotel Arsenaal Delft

Pretty amazing conversion of a historical building, the ground floor from reception at one end to the breakfast buffet in the distance at the other end is absolutely staggering. The room was fine; well equipped with a view of the courtyard and the staff team excellent throughout. Really good location if you don't mind a short walk into the centre of the old town.

Beautiful ancient building, excellent location in the heart of the city center, just a short walk from all the main attractions and from TU Delft, cosy room with beautiful wooden ceiling. Excellent breakfast buffet, compact but with more than enough variety.

Unfortunately, due to some maintenance, water in the room was first not available at all, then not drinkable. However, the staff was extremely kind and supportive, and the discomfort was compensated with complimentary water bottles, beverages, sweets and treats.

Die Lage in der Innenstadt ist hervorragend. Der Umbau des alten Arsenals in ein modernes Hotel ist sehr gelungen. Das Superior Zimmer war schön, und die Atmosphäre speziell.

Das Frühstücksbüffett könnte etwas ausführlicher sein, besonders für Veganer.

The building is fantastic, an old warehouse type with beautiful exposed timber columns.

There is no restaurant and limited food options at the bar.

Non c'è un accesso diretto dal parcheggio interno alla struttura, bisogna trasportare i bagagli sul marciapiede esterno e non è molto agevole, poiché la strada in pietra non è regolare e ci sono furgoni di fornitori in sosta che rendono molto difficoltoso il passaggio con le valigie

Buitengewoon lawaaierig vanwege enkel glas in de kamer met direct er tegenover een groot studentenhuis. Ongelofelijke herrie tot diep in de nacht. Kamers moeten absoluut voorzien worden van voorzetramen met driedubbel glas. Dat kan want is op b.g.g. ook gerealiseerd. Veel onafgeruimde roomservice op de hotelgang. Kan echt niet! Troep stond er bij het inchecken in de middag en in de avond om 23 uur nog.

The hotel is beautiful and in a wonderful location. It’s close to the train station and in the heart of Delft. The rooms were comfortable and cleaned to a high standard. There were some lovely additional touches including a note from the staff welcoming me as their guest, high quality complimentary products and bath robes. What made my stay extra special was the staff. It is rare to experience customer service at this level. Friendly, knowledgeable and genuinely interested in their guests, their reason for visiting and their plans. They also have an incredible chef who delivered a beautiful array of dishes reflecting the history of the hotel on my first night. It was Michelin standard at an affordable price and the best meal I’ve had in a long time.

Love the whole vibe of the hotel, it’s simply a stunning building inside and out. Rooms are stylish and very clean, staff are amazing and breakfast provides us with everything we love to eat. Location is perfect and we like the fact it has a carpark (need to ensure you reserve a space & it is at extra cost but price is very similar to the closest carpark). Also lovely to have a bookcase full of games in the lounge/bar area making for an easy evening of entertainment.

Nothing we didn’t like - it is useful to know there is no restaurant in the hotel but they serve light snacks & with the hotel being right in the city centre there are so many great restaurants to choose from within a 5 a 10 min walking distance this should not be an issue

Wow, what a lovely boutique hotel in Delft!! Such a great location near to Central station in Delft. A historic building with wonderful ceiling beams and so tastefully designed. Rooms are luxurious and spacious, with a very comfortable bed. And there are nice seating areas all around the hotel to just sit and relax. High quality breakfasts in a lovely dining area with windows out to the canal. A lovely way to start the day. And all the staff are so friendly and helpful, and clearly proud to be working in such a wonderful hotel. Highly recommend and look forward to being back soon.

Wat een prachtig hotel! Het bevindt zich in een oud pand en de oude elementen zijn nog goed zichtbaar, waardoor het oude met het moderne wordt gecombineerd, heel mooi! Wij waren 's ochtends al in Delft en toen wij in het hotel aankwamen om onze koffers te droppen, bleek dat onze kamer al klaar was, dat was heel fijn! De ligging van het hotel is perfect, je loopt binnen enkele minuten naar het centrum of naar het station. De kamer was precies zoals afgebeeld op de foto en netjes en schoon. Bij het ontbijt was er veel keuze en alles wat wij gegeten hebben was goed op smaak. Mocht ik ooit weer naar Delft gaan, dan zou ik zeker naar dit hotel terugkeren!

Beautiful Modern hotel, spacious, clean with comfortable rooms

Breakfast, went down at 9.15, nothing left that we wanted, fruit, yoghurt, bacon, sausage, mushrooms all gone bar the scraps. There were about 20 fried eggs however! Asked for bacon and fruit and that was brought out eventually, just not what we were expecting for such a lovely large hotel.

The former arsenal has been beautifully restored/updated and the combination of contemporary design and original details (the brickwork, striking beams etc) works really well. The ground floor of the hotel was a relaxing and inviting space for drinks/snacks and there is also a large sheltered courtyard. Our bedroom was attractive and comfortable. All the staff were friendly and helpful. We ate in the bar area on our second night; the food (snacks and light dishes only) was good and reasonably priced. There was a varied breakfast buffet. The quiet location is very convenient for key sites/museums.

Beautiful hotel right by the canal & a ten minute walk into city centre. Close to supermarket & amenities. Room was beautiful. Soft sheets, thoughtful decorative touches, including Delft ceramics. Staff were incredibly helpful & kind & go out of way to make sure you have a nice stay. The room was so comfortable. The perfect place to stay in Delft!

Would have given ten stars but there weren’t a lot of breakfast options for vegetarians.

Very comfortable bed! Air conditioning worked well considering we were in a heatwave at the time (much appreciated especially to sleep in). For an old building facilities were very modern. Staff were very friendly and helpful with local information and discount vouchers. Breakfast was good. Location excellent close to train station and easy walk into old town.

Gorgeous rooms, decorated to a high standard. Great breakfast, with the option to sit outside and enjoy the good weather before heading to work. Great location for Delft train station and transport links as well.

Historic Building the Hotel is built within an old artillary warehouse - with original wooden beams and trusses and 20ft high bedroom ceilings. Right on the canal side in a quiet part of town. Our Canal view rooms had huge windows.

The hotel is in an amazing location! Minutes from the train station and right in the middle of Delft’s historical area. The room is just gorgeous! It is very roomy with the large beams exposed ! The bed was so comfy!

De ligging van het hotel is heel centraal en in een prachtig historisch pand. Bedden liggen heerlijk. Ontbijt was niet overdreven veel maar precies goed. We hebben een fijne tijd gehad.

Het hotel is best wel gehorig. We zijn 2 ochtenden vroeg wakker geworden door het heen en weer lopen van onze bovenburen.

De kamer aan het water, de ambiance. Het vriendelijke personeel. Het ontbijt.

Proximity to noisy student housing projects

The building, originally from the 17th century, has been beautifully renovated. The rooms are totally modern with hints of the past. The public rooms on the ground floor are more reflective of the building's history. Lots more original features! To me, the concept of the hotel is unique. A wonderful blend of history and modernity. So much for the property and the created environment. I loved it! What made our stay special was the impressive staff in all departments , with a special Thank You to Mattanja, I was impressed even before we arrived at the hotel.

המלון מעוצב מדהים, הצוות והמלון ברמה מאוד גבוהה! ארוחת הבוקר טרייה ואיכותית אך יכלה להכיל מגוון רחב יותר של דברים. לא ממש בלב הרחובות המרכזיים אבל בעיניי יש משהו נעים בלישון כמה רחובות משם- מספיק קרוב ללכת ברגל אבל להיות באזור רגוע בערב.

ארוחת הבוקר יכולה להיות יותר מגוונת, אבל הכול טרי ומביאים עוד כל הזמן. הבר מספק קפה קר שאין במכונות שיש בארוחת בוקר כשמבקשים (ללא עלות)

Everything! The room is well appointed and very stylish. Delicious breakfast in a convivial environment and the location can’t be beat. Paid parking right on site.

Fijn ontbijt. Niet bijzonder, wel heel lekker. Ontzettend leuk personeel (dank Kelly!) en een super bed. We hebben meteen de kussens en het dekbed zelf ook besteld ;-). Eten in de binnentuin is ook een aanrader.

Lovely welcome from excellent reception staff. I had a problem with my room, left it rather late in the evening to report but the response was instantaneous. All my things were moved to a lovely room (106) overlooking the canal at the back of the hotel which was perfect. The breakfast is outstanding, even when you don’t eat eggs or meat for breakfast the choice is excellent and the home-made bread is phenomenal. We had dinner as well and that was Michelin level. They had a brilliant chef in the kitchen when we were there.

There was a maintenance and cleaning issue with my first room but as previously mentioned reception was brilliant and resolved it immediately.

The hotel itself is beautiful, steeped in history and the location is amazing, but what makes Hotel Arsenaal stand out is the small acts of hospitality: the friendly staff, the welcome drinks, the fact you can reach reception through Whatsapp, the umbrellas at the exit, and the freshly baked bread at the breakfast buffet all stood out for me.

Hotel Arsenaal Delft is now one of my favorite hotels! The staff were so welcoming and pleasant in every single interaction. Parking was a breeze, there was a lovely personalized welcome note in my room, historic yet modern and clean rooms, lovely scent in the hotel entryway (they should consider selling it - I would have bough a room spray with that scent). Lovely restaurant/bar area over looking the canal. The room was very comfortable, great pillows and bedding. They had conditioner in the bathroom toiletries which is a rarity in Europe but much appreciated. After check-out and leaving the property, I realized I left a necklace and earnings behind. I called the hotel and they grabbed it for me and it was waiting at the front desk when I was able to get back there in about 20 mins. All in all, a truly lovely hotel with the best customer service. Don't miss this gem in the darling city of Delft. I can't wait to head back to Hotel Arsenaal Delft.

Wir hatten drei Übernachtungen im Hotel gebucht, an keinem Tag wurde das Zimmer gereinigt oder nachgeschaut ob was zum auffüllen oder ersetzen wäre.
