Holiday Inn Express & Suites - Manitou Springs by IHG

There was no reservation in their system, and the hotel was over booked. Did not stay at this hotel, had to go back home.

The breakfast and pool area were nice. The room was spacious and clean.

For the price, they could have had much better toilet paper. It was very low grade. There was only one towel rack in the bathroom, no place to hang hand towels or wash clothes.

Breakfast was fantastic a great variety of hot and cold breakfast. The pancakes were excellent.

Basically had to drive everywhere on a Sunday, the breakfast bar was not maintained very well and lots of kids meant it didn’t feel safe to eat (for celiacs).

Check in was good. Efficient and friendly and informative of local services. I had booked a seat on the Cog Railway for next day so the Hotel is very close to the shuttle bus stop so that was a plus. The room was a good size and had everything I needed. The bathroom was clean and also a good size.Breakfast was good-plenty of options and the room was spacious and clean. I did not use the pool or the gym. Wifi reception was good

I was charged additional $6 . Luckily when i checked the credit card statement, i found out this. The hotel staff used my credit card details for the purchase done by someone else. I have to call the hotel to resolve the issue. The transaction was later adjusted but somehow i feel like the staff was really careless while doing the transaction.

Had to make an emergency reservation after another hotel completely botched our original. The front desk team member had everything ready for my arrival and made sure we had all we needed. Room was spacious! Perfectly clean! Extremely comfortable. First morning for breakfast and the hostess went out of her way to get a tray and everything in the breakfast area was fresh and delicious. This hotel is a model of excellence!!! Can’t wait to come back!

The bathroom wasn't clean, the AC was so noisy even though it was off , we changed a room twice because of that and the breakfast was so basic.

Our greeting by Chandler when we arrived, called me by my first name. She loves her job and it shows! Hotel clean and comfortable. We would return again for sure

We stayed during a quiet period in mid-Feb, this IHG is conveniently located between Manitou Springs village and the highway connecting Colo Springs to Denver. We had a lovely view of Pike's Peak from our west-facing room and a park/playground next door with public tennis courts and a stream behind the hotel. Covered parking and excellent breakfast with automated pancake machine, staff courteous and helpful. Several restaurants within a few minutes' drive on the main street and Garden of the Gods at your doorstep. Olympic Museum was fascinating, within 10-min. drive. Clean and comfortable, we would visit again!

Evening hours for restaurants vary, after 9pm only a few places may be open for dining, understandable for a village outside the city. No complaints.

The suite was excellent for our family; breakfast was outstanding; pool & hot tub were excellent.

Check in process took too long. The employee that checked us in was too talkative and sharing too much personal information and missing steps needed to be done for check in. She was friendly but seemed a bit distracted and unsure about questions we asked at check-in.

The staff was so friendly! I am a ocd clean freak walking into this hotel all I smelled was cleaners and disinfectant which put my mind at ease! It was so clean! As someone who cleans for a living I was impressed! The hot breakfast was very good! Will definitely stay here again.

Clean and I love that the property had a room that our family of five.

The only thing I could say I didn’t like was how bad the the chemicals in the pool were burning our eyes.

The entrance and bathroom smelled stronge like urine and a horrible other odor. Front desk came to room agreed but couldn't get me into another room. The bathtub wouldn't drain, only one out of family was able to shower and a part of bath tub broke under the handle. The next day, maintenance found something in the bath drain I was told that caused the odor. I was given 5000 IHG points for the trouble. Money back would have been more appropriate
