Tivemos um Problema no checkin pois a pessoa não estava lá na mesa de recepção mas foi resolvido relativamente rápido. Tb não repunham o número de toalhas correto no quarto todos os dias.

This is the second time i experienced poor WiFi. Which I find annoying and frustrating. Travel for work and having online meetings this is a critical service. It’s like having accommodation without a bed.

I arrived 15 to 20 minutes before their check in time and they refused to let me in even though the room was ready. Seriously no one can predict exact time of arrival and they are not flexible at all

Too high levels of noise from other guests. Cut my stay short and they refused a refund until I threatened with bad publicity did they issue a credit. They also refused to refund the damage deposit.

A localização é excelente, fica a 400 metros da praça Nelson Mandela. O check-in foi muito rápido, o quarto é enorme, bem decorado, boa iluminação geral e iluminação indireta. Um lugar em que você se sente muito seguro.

The place is beautiful.

The room service was really bad, ordered room service 30 minutes when we got there around 16h00 only received our food around 19h00. There was only 1 glass to drink. There was no pots and pans to cook.

キッチンがあるのに何故か鍋がなかった... ドライヤーもなかった。 部屋、というか建物内は間接照明で昼でも暗め。

The staff was kind, welcoming and very friendly. The place is beautiful and the restaurant played good music. The rooms are spacious and the place is quiet. Could easily access the staff through WhatsApp. The water was always hot and the WiFi was always working.

The room had very few cutlery. We were two with my partner but the room only had one fork, one spoon and one unsharp knife. The towels and sheets were not changed. The bedroom could use a mirror and the bathroom wasn’t clean enough

Não disponibilizaram toalhas (apenas uma para um casal), solicitamos a outra e não tinham para fornecer..2 dias com uma toalha de banho apenas. Água do chuveiro morna para fria (chegamos a esquentar água na chaleira para o banho). Uma pena pecar nesses detalhes pois a estrutura e o quarto são muito bons. Na chegada parece que não tinham quartos separados/pronto e nos deram outros (era uma reserva com 3 quartos). O café era bom, porém precisávamos retirar vouchers na recepção…e o café era preparado na hora (tem um lado bom mas o lado ruim é que atrasa muito.. com movimento terminávamos a comida e o café ainda não tinha chego).

Central location, well sized and laid out rooms.

The room (a non-smoking room) smelled of smoke from previous occupant and there were several cigarette butts outside the window that no-one had bothered to clean up. Attention to detail is starting to slide (eg some lamps can’t be plugged in as missing adapter plugs or wrong plug-socket combination)

O quarto é muito confortável, ótima localização, e a atendente da recepção foi muito gentil a todo momento. O café da manhã é simples mas tem boas opções de comida.

Não tem bebedouro disponível para reabastecer garrafas (ou não achamos) e o box do banheiro é bem apertado.

What I didn’t like is that the room 1004 is so close to the reception area and the noise from the guys downstairs especially in the morning definitely not my thing black brick 2 has much needed quietness and my tag kept on locking me out I constantly had to have it unlocked

Quando abri a porta do quarto, não acreditei: que incrível! Decoração estupenda, amplo espaço, sala integrada, sacada, uma cozinha ótima, banheiro amplo e moderno. Cama macia e confortável, qualidade da roupa de cama e banho maravilhosa. Gostei de absolutamente tudo neste hotel: o staff simpático, pude deixar as bagagens para pegar na volta do passeio, muito bem localizado, lindo por dentro e por fora. Nota 10!

Mesmo que eu tente, não consigo encontrar nada para falar mal deste hotel, minha experiência lá foi maravilhosa.

I am not sure why but it wasn't easy reaching your buildings entrance. My room's TV was in an odd place, kind of around a corner. I couldn't watch TV in bed.

Só havia uma toalha de banho no quarto e o aspecto era sujo; O boxe é minúsculo Café da manhã tinha uma barata no yogurte caminhando. Chamei os funcionários discretamente e sai do hotel , pois colocou uma dúvida em relação a higiene e manipulação da comida.

I had a great stay at BlackBrick Sandton One. The location is excellent, in the heart of Sandton and close to restaurants, cafés, supermarkets, and shopping malls. The room was modern, clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help. The check-in and check-out process was smooth, and the property offered great value for money. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Johannesburg.

The only minor issues were that there is no phone in the room to contact reception. Guests have to communicate via WhatsApp, and sometimes messages are not seen promptly, which meant I had to go down to reception for assistance. Also, on the second day of my stay, complimentary bottled water was not replenished in the room. These are small details, but improving them would make an already great stay even better.

Rooms.are clean and well equipped! The bed is huge and comfortable. The TV had Netflix which was great! The breakfast and coffee was delicious and the staff friendly. Would highly recommend it.

Fui muito bem atendida, em todas as dúvidas foram sanadas prontamente. Lugar seguro, pessoas educadas, simpáticas e atenciosas, limpeza e organização excelente, e um café da manhã muito bom.

The staff were extremely friendly and fun. They also went the extra mile to make my stay comfortable. The place looks beautiful, was clean and the room itself was lovely. Location made it easy to access business locations. Buffet breakfast each day of my stay was very generous, tasty. Could get a high protein breakfast.

No dish washing liquid in the room. No milk tetrapacks in the coffee station (however the staff went out of their way to get me milk. Really nice people!). Couldn't see a pot or pan i would use on the stove.

Great location, safe, clean and very comfortable room. Even the first floor rooms are very quite and is well equiped. Great for digital workers due to the co-working areas in different floors, library, rooftop.

The restaurant at the hotel was not the best experience. Room service phone was unresponsive and even by going to the restaurant is took about 2 hours to get the order (I think the food offer in the area is better.)

The aesthetic appeal.

First of all the towels so small they were for chipmunks. They was a “crack”/ splitting in the bed. Instead of a double bed, it was two singles put together.

Stayed at the Black Brick Sandton One for one night while traveling for work. The studio apartments are modestly furnished yet still have all the basics. There’s some work spaces to use on each floor.

The gym is sparsely equipped and could do with at least two cardio machines. I also hoped for more variety of foods at breakfast.

The staff was extremely helpful; the studio, very spacious (though the couch could use some cleaning); the food, delicious; the music, great & the overall vibe, super friendly! PS: I was really glad to see that you repainted the place in white, as I initially hesitated to book at BlackBrick because your online photos (Booking.com) still show the old dark decor, which was too austere for my liking.

I was told breakfast was served from 6.30AM. On the day I was checking out to go to the airport, I could not have breakfast as the food was not ready until 6.45AM, when I left. I actually left the hotel later than planned, hoping to be able to get breakfast, but as they were late in preparing it, I could only have coffee & croissants. That was disappointing!

Great service from the staff. Had to request assistance and room changes fue to IT issues. The ladies handled all my requests professionally and with care.

Localização excelente, próximo à Nelson Mandela Square. O quarto é enorme, confortável, com varanda. Os funcionários foram solícitos. Ficamos apenas uma noite, mas com certeza nós hospedariamos por mais tempo, já que o quarto oferece todo o conforto necessário para uma estadia mais longa. Gostei bastante. O café da manhã é completo e muito gostoso.

No site do booking consta um valor de café da manhã diferente do que estão cobrando na recepção (250 rands). Questionei a funcionária sobre isso e mostrei o valor do booking e ela disse que "conseguiria fazer por 180 rands". Acabamos pagando mais do que consta aqui no site. Observem bem isso para não pagarem a mais do que deveriam.

The location was perfect. Easy walking distance to Mandela Square and Benmore Gardens. The rooms were adequate and the breakfast was good.

My room 1024 had a few issues. The safe did not work. The staff offered to change rooms but I had already unpacked, so declined the offer. The floor lamp was missing a prong on the plug (not working) and the TV was not functional. The toilet flushing system had a few issues as did the wobbly seat. I understand some card was required for the TV to function... a card I did not have. The bed was lumpy (2 single beds adjoined), no towel rail (only a hand towel rail) so the wet towels went on the floor. The shower head was fixed (for tall people), no hairdryer (I bought a South African one BUT needed a South African adaptor for it to function..... still confused on that) and the overwhelming black colour in the corridors and stairwells was a bit overpowering. Stubbed my toes a few times. I understand there is a revamp and work is in progress. Overall I cannot complain BUT I did expect a functional safe (passport / tickets) and the basic TV1-3 + e TV the SA standard for a TV licence.

Excelente atendimento e localização. Quartos amplos e limpos, equipados com geladeira, fogão e microondas. Destaque para o atendimento da Beauty, foi muito receptiva e disponível durante toda a hospedagem. O café da manhã era variado e bem servido. Também dispunha de estacionamento.

Poderia ter um secador de cabelo no banheiro sem ter que solicitar na recepção.

Very secure facility with key card access to the main area. The location is key, very central to Sandton and this was fantastic for the purpose of my visit. The laundry service was great and they attended to my request for express delivery seamlessly.

The Pizza section in the restaurant was on yet there was no chef and Pizza's were not available on the food menu. It is a bit wasteful to see all that gas being burnt without the possibility of having a pizza. The facility lacks some minor maintenance, which I believe would go a long way, the walls and doors have a lot of scuffs and scrapes, this does somehow make the property seem lacking in maintenance, especially due to the dark colour pallet which is in the property.

I loved the art and the aesthetics. It felt so luxurious and the staff was so friendly and welcoming. Thank you for your wonderful service and great experience.

I wanted to try out their pizza but they didn't have it at the time. Either way, I enjoyed their sandwiches and breakfast. I do want to ask that they please set aside blankets for the winter season or an electric blanket.
