Reviewed Sep 20, 2026I really liked the privacy of the bed, which felt much more private than I expected from a hostel. I was assigned an upper bunk facing the window, and it was very comfortable. There was also a power outlet at the bed, which was convenient. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the common areas had a lively and welcoming atmosphere.
The floor space around the beds was quite limited. Even with four small pieces of luggage, it felt a little cramped, so it may be something to consider if you have larger luggage. The lockers and kitchen also require an additional fee, even if you only want to use the microwave. The air conditioning also felt a bit weak from the bed area.

The room is extremely small! Even the bed is smaller. There is not even a space to open the suitcase. In the bathroom you have to open the shower door to sit on the toilet.

The bathroom inside the room doesn’t have a proper door so if you want to use it you’ll have to wake everyone up. The towel wasn’t clean and if your unlucky and get the lower bed you actually sleep face to face with the person opposite of you. Once you get a bed the hotel staff will not change it no matter what.

Reviewed Sep 19, 2026Cheap breakfast for Copenhagen - $NZD18 for buffet. Cereals, toasted sandwiches, fries, drinks. Cinema, gym, games area and plenty of lounge space. Close to tourist areas and train station.
Rooms very small but that was expected. Very little room in the double room for suitcases which had to remain closed. Room facilities were adequate although it could be difficult for the person on the double bed beside the wall to get out of the bed when two people were in it. Probably fine for younger people but not necessarily for older people.

Chambre un peu exiguëe pour notre âge (plus de 60ans), pas de rangement pour les vêtements, salle de bain un peu petite.

Reviewed Sep 18, 2026Cet Hostel à Copenhague vaut clairement sa réputation. En plus d'être un hostel avec des services tout à fait convenables pour son prix, c'est surtout un réel lieu de rencontre pour les voyageurs solo. Le concept est 100% réussi, je recommande clairement.

Las habitaciones son muy pequeñas para la cantidad de personas. Quizás el desayuno y la cena que ofrece el lugar podría ser más variado con más opciones de proteínas.

Reviewed Sep 17, 2026Skvělé ubytování v centru Kodaně, dá se dojít pěšky do přístavu, Tivoli Gardens i na vlakové nádraží. Před budovou zastávka autobusu, který jede na letiště. Snídaňový bufet dostačující, každý si vybere. Kousek jsou i obchody a restaurace.

The rooms are very cramped. There was hardly any space for storage. I shared a 4-person-bedroom with two other friends and we were glad there was no fourth person - don’t know how we would have managed. The capsules are rather narrow, like little coffins, and there is only a sliding door to the bathroom - so sound and smell will travel!

le petit déjeuner est très limité en variété Des frites sont proposées!? mais pas de fruits, yaourts ou brioches le jus de fruit est coupé à l'eau: triste de voir cela au regard du prix payé

Conveniently located near great restaurants/bars and the famous Tivoli Gardens, this is a great alternative to a true hotel if you travel light and are looking for more budget friendly accommodations. They also had fun hostel activities and amenities (e.g., gym, game spaces, canteen, etc.).
This wasn't a con for me, but some people might find the rooms too cramped. There's no desk, minimal sink space, and no room on the floor to lay out a larger luggage. Definitely for those with a carry-on or smaller bag who don't intend to spend much time in their rooms.

Reviewed Sep 17, 2026I had such a great time here! If you’re looking for a social hostel and want to meet new people, definitely stay at Next House. The atmosphere was so much fun and it was really easy to meet people, especially as a solo traveler. Honestly, it might be one of the best hostels in Copenhagen. I’d definitely stay here again!
The only downside was that the bed sheets weren’t changed during my stay. I would have appreciated having fresh sheets at least once.

The hostel EXCEEDED my expectations: it has a mini soccer area INSIDE! a gym, 2 or 3 areas to rest and eat your breakfast by yourself (like me), i didnt want the noise of all the people and kids so I found the quiet area for solo travelers. the coffee from the machine at reception is very good. althout abit expensive. The room is perfect to go sleep, shower, do your thing and go out for the day.My roomies were respectful and quiet so my stay was amazing. The rooms have a locker (no lock included) to put your stuff and your small luggage fits perfectly! I was very pleased. I was truly impressed. I would definitely go back with friends and book the whole 4 person room for us!
The coffee from the restaurant is not good. The coffee at reception bery good but expensive.

Reviewed Sep 16, 2026It was an absolute vibe to be honest when I got there on the night almost like a mini nightclub I'm a good way tho had plenty night life and I don't drink but there was a cool vibe to the place non the less it was cool definitely exceeded my expectations of a hostel
I stood and waited for like 25 minutes for my room key to generate and it never did then I went to one of the machines and the machines couldn't generate me a key either so I had to go get help from staff and they where lovely and helped me out straight away but It was 25 minutes less sleep that I didn't have and I was very very very hot and slept very restless which isn't your fault nothing you can change just that's another thing I didn't like

Huoneet olivat varsin pieniä niin monelle sängylle ja yläpedissä oli melko lämmin yöllä. Aamiaiselle olisin toivonut lisää kasviksia ja hedelmiä.

Reviewed Sep 16, 2026Zentrale Lage, die Betten im 4er Frauenschlafsaal waren so angeordnet, dass man ein wenig Sichtschutz hatte. Es gibt Schließfächer im Zimmer, das Bad ist gerade noch so ok. Trotz der Größe des Hostels ist es erstaunlich ruhig auf den Fluren. Es gibt Bettwäsche und ein Handtuch pro Person, Steckdose am Bett. Checkin freundlich und unkompliziert. Kostenloser Wasserspender im EG. Vegane Komponenten beim Frühstück!
Die Zimmer sind sehr beengt, es gibt es wenig Platz für Gepäck. Im Zimmer war es ziemlich warm (September). Es gibt keine Gemeinschaftsbäder auf den Fluren, falls man ausweichen muss, wenn das Bad im Zimmer besetzt ist. Lediglich im Keller des Hostels gibt es ein paar Gemeinschaftsduschen und Toiletten. Allerdings sind diese sehr weit entfernt, sodass man eine halbe Odyssee hinter sich bringen muss, um dorthin zu gelangen. Es hätte nicht geschadet; auf jedem Stockwerk ein Gemeinschaftsbad einzuplanen. Frühstück war gerade so ok. Es gibt nur Toast, 1 Sorte Käse und 1 Sorte Formschnken. Etwas Müsli.
