Loved the location and the vibe. Blue room was perfect for me. Erica was so lovely when I arrived.

Location is fantastic and a short walk to the vibrant Ossington Ave area. Lots of dining options outside the front door, I loved the breakfast place directly across the street (Sunrise Grill?). Very clean, facilities were basic but good which is my preference, I don’t like junk lying around taking up space under the guise of “decor”. Plenty of spotless towels , toiletries are provided, nice little in-room coffee station, plenty of rack space if you needed to hang stuff up. If I was single I could live there!!

It was hot the few days I was there and I’d wake up pretty hot as the a/c fan wasn’t quite powerful enough.

Honestly, I don't even know where to begin, because it was amazing from start to finish. From a warm and friendly welcome (I asked for some cold beer on arrival and they stocked my fridge with super tasty and fun IPAs and more - very steezy move if i may say so. And then we have the absolutely stunning room, a beautiful, tastefully and playfully designed space that became perfect little sanctum for that warm and busy Toronto weekend.

I just wish we could have stayed for more days but we are so excited to come back.

Apesar de um pouco distante do centro, o Ode fica próximo de restaurantes, mercados, farmácias, padarias e comércio do bairro com preços, qualidade e atendimentos /excelentes.

Durante a madrugada o barulho dos Streetcar (bondes elétricos) passando chama um pouco a atenção. Nada que inviabilize a estadia. Inclusive já reservei o Ode novamente...

The ode was close to everything and all around a good stay. Clean and relaxing.

The only thing I had issue with was comfort. The bed was a bit firmer than what I’m use to but that’s simply personal preference.

The location, staff and owners

My spouse and I loved the look and decor of our room. However she did not like the small size. We are now cognizant about upsizing to a larger room during our next trip.

Die Lage ist sehr gut, direkt eine Trambahn-Haltestelle vor der Türe. Drei Querstraßen weiter (Ossington Av) gibt es viele Lokale. Das Zimmer war gut ausgestattet, wie ein kleines Appartement.

Der Badezimmerboden war immer eiskalt.

Great location a short tube or tram ride right into the centre of Toronto but in a really cool neighbourhood with loads of little cafes, wine bars and restaurants in easy walking distance. Really comfortable bed and great furnishings. Alex was really friendly and helpful explaining everything to us and pointing out how to get to the tube station.

Only thing was a little bit of noise one night about 1am from other guests returning from a night out, having a loud conversation right outside our door, not the hotel’s fault obviously.

Super Lage. Leicht vom Flughafen zu erreichen. Viele Restaurants und Kneipen fußläufig. Downtown leicht zu erreichen. Schön eingerichtetes Zimmer. Coole Dachterrasse. Sitzgelegenheit im Zimmer.

Das "Fenster" ist direkt vor der Mauer des Nachbarhauses. Quasi kein Tageslicht und das Gefühl, im Keller zu schlafen. Keine Rezeption, kein Ansprechpartner vor Ort. Kein Frühstücksangebot. Recht kleines Bett. Die Dusche hat keine Tür/ keinen Vorhang. Dafür viel zu teuer.

Hübsches Hotel in einem hippen Viertel von Toronto. Die Zimmer sind süß gemacht und sehr gut ausgestattet.

Die Straßenbahn fährt vor der Tür vorbei und war sehr laut im Zimmer zu hören (wir hatten ein Zimmer im Souterrain zur Straße hin). Insgesamt ist es hellhörig und man hört andere Gäste auf dem Gang und Klimaanlagen oder sonstiges Gerät relativ laut.

Das Personal war sehr freundlich und sehr gut erreichbar. Die Koffer konnte man kostenfrei und so lange man wollte am Abflugtag im Hotel lagern. Das Hotel ist sehr gut ausgestattet und komplett neu renoviert. Die Dachterrasse oben ist sehr einladend.

Es fühlte sich viel entspannter und gemütlicher an als in einem großen Hotel. Die Ausstattung war sehr praktisch, die Einrichtung stilvoll und alle Mitarbeitende sehr zuvorkommend.

Super nice place! Very friendly staff. Great decorations and super comfy room.

Location was awesome, it was very close to a lot of cafes, bars, dining, etc! Within walking distance to nightlife as well as a lot of food gems! First time in Toronto and felt very safe during our stay, surrounding neighbourhoods were beautiful and nice to stroll in to get to Ossington and other nice eats! Ode rooftop was amazing, perfect for morning coffee and/or nightcaps! We would stay here again and highly recommend!

Erica - the owner - is attentive and accommodating. She lives upstairs so is close by to assist with anything you may need - ice, more clean towels. Etc. We had the “black and yellow” room - the little apartment next to the rooftop deck - which we enjoyed sitting out there; it has many cushioned chairs and seating, and umbrella to sit under. The neighborhood is walkable and has restaurants in the area, and a drug store next door to Ode. We look forward to our next visit at Ode!

Wonderful and surprising place hidden behind a small facade in a lively and colourful area of Toronto. Cool room, good bed and shower. Friendly staff, who gave me some very useful tips for food and coffee. Good and friendly communication by text.

The light in the room is very bright, bordering on harsh. A few lamps with more subdued, warmer light would be a major improvement to this room. A few hooks near the bathroom to hang towels and clothing would also be a good idea. I did miss a table to sit and work at, though I can see that would come at the expense of the couch.

Ein kleines, familiengeführtes Hotel, die Zimmer sind super geschmackvoll eingerichtet, alles ist perfekt durchdacht, super sauber und gepflegt, wir haben jede Minute genossen, nicht zu vergessen die schöne Dachterrasse!!!

Primarily I chose it for location and it didn’t disappoint..all kinds of coffee shops, restaurants, bakeries etc.

I hope they fix check in that was the worst. Room size was misrepresented..they are smaller then appear in the photos( thanks to ultra wide lens) . Windows are tiny and facing walls of another building so no light.

For us, Ode's location is tough to beat, with their close proximity to numerous great cafes, bars and shops along Dundas. The amenities within the suite were very thoughtfully furnished. Loved the bath products and eye patches set out on the pillows! We stayed only two nights but would have been comfortable for at Ode for a much longer visit too. We would certainly book again.

Sehr saubere Unterkunft mit toller Ausstattung (hochwertiger Föhn, Klimaanlage, Bademäntel, Steamer, Kaffeemaschine,…) und super Lage (viele nette Restaurants, Kaffees und Shops fussläufig erreichbar) in Little Portugal. Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen und alle Wünsche wurden erfüllt. Die Dachterrasse lädt zum Entspannen ein.

Nichts zu bemängeln.

Absolutely outstanding stay here at Ode. Wonderful welcome as I walked in and was even taken to my room and shown around our the room. So many small touches that truly matter to someone like me. Family ran, maps for local shops/restaurants, refillable water bottle, eye masks, and even dishes were beautiful and likely bought from a local shop nearby. I wish I could’ve stayed here all week, heck I’d live here! Thanks so much to Erica and whoever helped make my stay so special and CLEAN!!

This accommodation was great! The location was close to great restaurants and shops. The room was so adorable with great art and character. The bed and pillows were so comfortable. Staff was also very friendly and helpful.

This was perfection for a weekend away! The location and rooftop were fabulous.

Property is very unique. Rooms are very comfortable. Location is fabulous. One of the best parts of Toronto. Many cafes and restaurants close by. Hotel has a very nice roof top deck.

Lived the Black and Gold room. It was a work of art in itself!

It’s very clean and central. Very helpful when checking in .

There is no parking you have to buy a permit and find street parking .

The staff were flexible and very accommodating. The location is exception being on the doorstep of one of our favourite parts of town.

I was very impressed with Ode. When I first arrived at the hotel, I was a bit concerned, as there was no check-in desk or lobby and I had to store my luggage before I could check in. However, Erica accommodated me by allowing me to leave my bag in a room that was being cleaned. I came back to check in later. My room was very, very nice - the size of a small studio apartment, with a kitchenette and a large sitting area, as well as the bed. The room was comfortable and clean and very nicely appointed. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was very clean and well-maintained. It was a wet room, but I did not mind. Erica also showed me the rooftop deck. I did not use it but appreciated its availability. Overall, a very positive experience. I was impressed with the service, the quality of the rooms. The hotel is also right on a streetcar line, which was very convenient.

Very comfy bed, appreciated the high-quality soap/lotion/shampoo and the complimentary eye patches. Extremely clean and great location.

I was a bit surprised by the basement room and the lack of light but I slept really well and was mostly there to sleep so it didn't really matter.

I highly recommend the Red Room! It was spacious, had amazingly well thought out amenities and use of space, and the comfiest bed. I read and worked on the beautiful rooftop patio. The area is amazing, as a single female I walked each day to and from the Automotive Building and there are plenty of bakery and coffee shops, and small local patios/restaurants. I walked through Trinity Park everyday and it was a beautiful place to sit and people watch. My new favourite place in Toronto. I also forgot some work essentials and there is Dufferin Mall in walking distance as well as a Rexall literally next door.

Location was excellent. Friendly, very responsive owners. They gave us a wall heater and dehumidifier.

Very dark and damp basement unit, towels were tough to dry. Not exactly what we thought we were getting based off the photos. Neighbours were quite loud (not the hotel's fault at all), it would be great if the unit had a stove. The street car shook the whole building.

Comfortable and spacious room, well-designed, clean with good amenities. Great location. Only issue is the room on the lower ground floor doesn’t get much natural light and you can hear the subway from the bedroom quite clearly.

Absolutely loved the apartment, the location and the decor. There are a number of great coffee spots on the same street and the street car stops almost right outside which was brilliant for exploring! We will definitely be back - thanks for a wonderful stay!

The room was cozy, unique, and exactly what I needed. So much better than a bustling chain hotel. And the location is amazing, with transit access and dozens of great food options at your doorstep. Would definitely recommend.

It was amazing staying in this room with my mother. Our weekend was all about spending quality time together, and this hotel made it even more special. The location was perfect- easy for us to find great places to eat and enjoy our time together: truly memorable stay. One important lesson for me was realizing the need to ask about accessibility in advance. With my mother in 80s, stairs are no longer suitable for her needs. It is something I will be more mindful of moving forward.

Good location, nice room, modern and clean amenities. Bathrobes and towers and slippers provided, which is a nice luxury to have!

Check in is a bit weird, there is no lobby and if you don’t have a phone connection or internet data is hard to make contact. We waited 20 minutes for someone to come get us from the front door. They could simply share the WiFi password and solve the communication problem. The hold deposit on the room is pretty expensive and I just don’t think it’s a nice thing to do.

Ode was comfy and cute and the perfect home base for a weekend in the west end!

The property is just amazing. Such cool vibes and so unique. Our room was great with everything we needed. The bed was so comfortable too. All the little touches were just so nice from the welcome pink popcorn to the eye patch masks on the pillows. The staff were so helpful and accommodating every step of the way. We had a later flight the day we checked out and they were kind enough to hold our luggage for us so we could do some shopping in the area which is another huge plus to the Ode, it's location. So many amazing bars, restaurants and shopping spots including some of the best vintage shops I have ever been too. The coffee shop two doors down, Hanks, was incredible too. I cannot say enough good things about this hotel and would absolutely come back and stay here again.

Our room in Ode was absolutely adorable and very cozy. My sister and I came for the Taylor Swift concert and it was the perfect place to stay for us. Check in and check out were both a breeze, and they were able to help us get a parking pass for the city printed out very last minute.

The hotel is a family owned and run (all female) business and they’ve done an amazing job! Erica (Mum) is so helpful and responsive. It’s in a great area of Toronto and easy to get downtown, either via walking or streetcar. So many little shops and restaurants are close by so you don’t even have to head downtown if you don’t want to! Would highly recommend and would come back in an instant when returning to Toronto.

This place was adorable! Staff was so nice! We had some issues with the lights but the room itself was clean and in good condition!

Awesome staff and communication. Great location.

The bathroom would have been awkward for a couple or people not very intimately acquainted. One could hear, see and smell everything someone was doing in there. Window didn't close all the way, so it was noisy, and if someone had wanted to peer in from the street, the blind wasn't opaque. Privacy was lacking. Blackout curtains and a window that closed would have made a big difference, especially for the price.

Ode Toronto is an absolute gem! From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed and cared for. The owner herself went above and beyond, showing such kindness and attentiveness to ensure my stay was perfect. When I mentioned I needed a bit of extra warmth, she immediately provided a Dyson room heater, which was such a thoughtful touch. The housekeeping staff also deserves a shout-out—they were incredibly efficient, keeping everything spotless and attended to with the utmost care. The room itself was a dream—modern, sleek, and incredibly well-appointed. Honestly, even top brands like Hyatt and Marriott could take notes from Ode Toronto on what a true luxury stay should feel like. It’s clear every detail has been thought through to create a memorable, high-end experience. This is a place I’ll happily return to and recommend to anyone visiting Toronto!

We love staying here at this really cozy and comfortable studio. Spacious and lovely. Great location to boot. The hosts were such gracious people. We loved the coffee shop next door called Larry’s. Great coffee and pastry for breakfast. The studio has a kitchen which is a plus. Highly recommended. Look no more and book this place!!

Room noisy

Location was perfect for me (I arrived by train, made a commute from Union Station and then a commute to Budweiser Stage). And I loved the personal touch of eye masks on the pillow and the style of the room was welcoming! Loved having the tv on the fireplace channel, too.

Nothing! Everything was perfect. I didn’t see any coffee/tea in the room but I didn’t ask either.
