The location, service and rooftop patio are superb. Stunning views and ambiance. Breakfast was fine, the food was decent but nothing to write home about.

The food at breakfast was a bit bland and simple. Would also appreciate some umbrellas or sun covering on the rooftop patio so we could sit comfortably as there is no escape from it on the patio during the morning/daytime.

Amazing views, service and clean

Everything was really very good. Love the way they welcomed us with love and gratitude. The vibe is full of love, peace and happiness. Must go with your family or your spouse. Staff is also very good and polite and friendly.

The location and beautiful view that you get out of your window. Plus it is really close to old city markets and city palace.

The cleanliness is not up to the mark after paying so much money. The same amount of money is also charged by Taj Hotel and you wouldn't have a single thing to complain about and here even after paying the heft price not everything is up to the mark. The following things were disappointing:- 1. I don't understand the concept of charging 100% before arrival? Do any high end hotels like Taj charge 100%? Never. So why charging 100%? 2. Now even after charging 100% price upfront --> During check-in I was bombarded by all kinds of disclaimer such as if you break a glass this much will be charged. If you stain any bedsheet this much will be charged. If you lose a key to your door, this much will be charged. Comparing to Taj --> Only charged ₹1 before arrival and only collected money during checkout. In addition to that, no such disclaimer about accidental stuff. No guest does any of the above on purpose. I lost a key while staying at Taj. Not a single amount of money was charged. This is what you get as a freedom after paying such a price. In short, if you are already spending around 10-15K per night, please book your stay with bigger hotel brands like Taj for full worth of your money.

We stayed at this hotel in Udaipur recently and overall found it to be a mixed experience. The room itself was large and included the amenities listed, which was appreciated. However, the property felt a bit rough around the edges and didn’t quite meet expectations in terms of overall finish and upkeep. The hotel amenities were somewhat limited. The bar had a restricted selection of drinks and no alcohol was served, and the breakfast options were quite limited, which made the experience feel less complete compared to what we had expected. That said, the rooftop terrace was a real highlight. The views were absolutely amazing and provided a beautiful perspective of Udaipur. It felt like a space with great potential that could be utilised more to enhance the overall guest experience. Overall, the hotel has some strong positives, particularly the spacious rooms and the excellent rooftop views, but with improvements to the amenities, breakfast variety, and overall finishing touches, it could offer a much better stay.

Limited drink and food options.

First the good bits: Communication from the hotel was excellent. The staff were great. The place was clean, the bed was comfy and the shower powerful with plenty of hot water. Towels were fluffy and the shampoo etc provided was lovely. Tea and coffee making facilities in the room and plenty of bottled water were much appreciated. The view of the lake from the bedroom was stunning, as was sunset from the roof. The fit and finish of the interior was high. So lots to like. There are things that the hotel could change to make it better. Our room was really small - this should be made clearer when booking. The rooftop restaurant was very dark, so dark you could not see what you were eating. The food was good but it is worth noting that they only serve vegetarian food and no alcohol. (Which is fine but should really be mentioned in the hotel description) There are things that the hotel can’t do anything about. Access is difficult so anyone with mobility issues should not stay here. There is a steep slope leading to the hotel after quite a long walk up and down other slopes. There is no lift and the stairs are difficult. I have problems with one of my knees after an accident a couple of years ago and found this quite difficult. The hotel is at the end of a poorly lit alley and whilst I never felt unsafe it wasn’t a pleasant walk back to the hotel. I think if you understand the downsides and book yourself one of the larger rooms you might be very happy here.

Our experience at Moustache Udaipur Luxuria was extremely disappointing. On arrival we were asked to sign an inappropriate form about paying for stains or damage - an insulting way to welcome guests. After refusing, we entered a room with visible black stains on the floor and a filthy shower curtain. The cleanliness was unacceptable. We did not pack and immediately moved to another hotel. Although later the staff apologized and claimed the room was cleaned, and the curtain changed, we had already lost trust in the hygiene standards. Despite not staying even one night, we were fully charged for 3 nights and received no refund, no compensation was offered by the hotel. Completely unacceptable for a hotel presenting itself as 4 star. A. Ravivo

Amazing place, amazing hospitality, top notch staff and food and cleanliness.

The location is good, but slightly hard to get to. There are attractions close to the property. The rooms are clean, but the mattresses could be better, they are too bouncy and don’t offer enough support. Bathrooms are clean and have good water pressure which I really enjoyed.

We booked presidential suite and our entire experience at this property was really good. Staff was very friendly too.

The room was tiny. The location was a bit off the beaten track and the entrance to the hotel is down a big slope.

Staff were incredibly helpful during our stay. Did not hesitate with any of our requests i.e. sorting transport, dinner recommendations and any other requests. Made our stay that much more enjoyable. For us, taking the tuk tuk around Udaipur and to the accommodation was a lot of fun and added to our experience.

Je suis déçue. L'hotel ne mérite pas la note de 9 "fabuleux". Certes les chambres sont propres et on a vue sur le lac mais sinon c'est très moyen... La literie est mauvaise, le restaurant et roof top ne sont pas soignés. Rien de charmant. C'est correct mais loin d'etre fabuleux.

The stay was fantastic. The customer service is great and also they are ready to accommodate as per the need. The representatives are really helpful and ready to go an extra mile for their customers. This is the place I would like to come back. Especially, Nitesh & tofiq were more helpful and they were there for every need and requirements we needed. The lunch at the roof top restaurant was delicious and tasteful, they were ready to make customized food due to allergies and religious factor. To conclude, it is one of the best place to stay in Udaipur city & I loved the way we were treated.

Every thing was 10/10 thanks moustache luxuria, Udaipur for making this trip memorable.

Nothing, as I couldn't stay at the property as owners cancelled my booking although it is still showing as conformed on booking platform.

Staff is unreliable and not trust worthy at all. My booking amount for the room was 14,000 and they messaged me and asked to pay 46,000 and also share my credit card details.

They required 100% payment at point of booking, with forms to fill out, scan in and email back. I have to say it felt dodgy and at points I thought about changing the booking. Glad I didn’t cos the place and staff are amazing - but I’d say simplicity to the booking process would help.

Staff were very friendly, and there were a lot of complimentary elements that enhanced our stay, e.g. welcome coconut water, fruit basket, biscuits, sunset afternoon tea (sandwiches and tea/coffee), one set of mocktails if you ate in the restaurant, transfer to train station. View from rooftop terrace was lovely, great place for sunset. And you are right on the city palace walls. Food was tasty.

Property insisted on payment in advance, and this was via a WhatsApp link. Repeatedly asked for a payment link via booking.com (something their sister hotel we stayed in elsewhere was able to do), but they wouldn't send the link via booking.com and threatened that if we didn't pay our booking would be cancelled and we'd be charged (ironically via booking.com). Deluxe double was VERY small, no where to even put a suitcase so living off the floor. Rooftop terrace had now shade, which was a shame as would have been nice to spend time their during the day.

I really liked the ambience of the property and most importantly where it is located. Great food and friendly staff and fast service. Would love to come back here again.

Very good. The view from the bedroom window was truly beautiful, and the staff were very kind. If I visit Udaipur again, I will definitely stay at this place once more.

​We stayed in a lake view room and it was absolutely amazing! The views were simply stunning. ​The rooftop restaurant also offered a beautiful outlook, which made the dining experience extra special. The entire staff and the manager were consistently friendly and incredibly helpful throughout our stay. ​The breakfast was light and healthy, which we appreciated, but the dinner quality could use some improvement. ​Overall, it was a fantastic stay! I would highly recommend this hotel, especially for couples.

Difficulté et stress au départ pour un paiement demandé à distance qui ne fonctionne pas malgré la pré réservation bancaire booking. Pour le taxi de l aéroport un peu de confusion. Dans la chambre un petit problème de bruit la nuit avec le congélateur ou la climatisation de la salle de restauration au dessus.

I loved the hospitality the most. The space itself was super comfortable and modern, in the heart of the old city with fantastic views. The only thing to be careful of before booking is that the access which is by foot is steep and the steps inside are steep too. Gg

Amazing hotel- super friendly and helpful staff - especially the two managers- I didn’t get one name but Nitesh was fantastic:) They went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and comfortable. Beautiful building- great room with lovely touches- overlooking the lake- really peaceful spot with own restaurant and delicious breakfast. Cannot recommend this place highly enough- will be back loved it. Great place to relax after a hectic hot visit in other cities.

It was a welcoming experience by Amaan and Nitesh. Assisted us for whole of our journey, offered us early check ins. Facility for transportation was also offered by them. Also offered us some additional perks. Moreover, the room was clean and with a very good scenic lake view. In terms of location, the hotel was located within the walking distance range. The rooftop was very enriching, and a place to spend hours easily. Overall, it was a wonderful experience. Would highly recommend.

The view of Lake Pichola from our room on the third floor was spectacular. The room, although not very big, was comfortable. The hotel has only eight rooms which contributes to its coziness. Nithesh and his team provided impeccable service throughout our two-night stay. This lakeside hotel is indeed a somewat tucked away gem with incredible value for money. To watch the sunset bat run from the rooftop veranda with thousands of large fruit bats flying right over northbound will be a memory for a lifetime. Large selection of traditional Indian breakfast dishes well cooked was much appreciated.

Great location, beautiful surrounding atmosphere, great staff. Most friendly and helpful receptionist and staff ever, lovely and great first impression of hotel. Everything about the hotel was exceptional. It was clean, stylish, roomy with excellent service in where we had dinner. Food was good and great value for money and service was attentive and efficient. Room itself was well equipped and comfortable. I was very pleased with my stay. I hope to be back for a longer visit in the future.
