The breakfast offering was ok but they constantly ran out of one thing or another and the fruit juice machine hardly worked while we were there.

1) the mini fridge made soo much noise 😫 didn't really slept well. 2) was not able to use the pool (which i was looking forward) for my bad luck🫤, when i got there there was like large group of men having the pool all to themselves like it was a private pool party. Iam guessing good 20 ish...it was packed and loud.

Sehr hellhörig zum Flur. Nächtliche Unterhaltungen auf dem Flur werden leider sehr deutlich wahrgenommen und führen zu unruhigen Nächten. Die ebenerdige Dusche hat kein ausreichendes Gefälle zum Abfluss, so dass nach dem Duschen das halbe Bandezimmer unter Wasser steht. Das Frühstück ist OK, biete aber wenig Abwechslung, wenn man mehr als einen Tag dort verweilt. Leider wird direkt nach Ende der Frühstückszeit mit Putzen begonnen, so dass es im Frühstücksraum stark nach Putzmitteln riecht, während man noch zu Ende isst. Ein Zimmerupgrade hätte leider - aufgrund der Buchung über booking.com - den vollen Zimmerpreis gekostet, anstatt nur einen Aufpreis. Die Bar war nie geöffnet; für getränke muss man in die gegenüberliegnde Tankstelle gehen.

Schönes, modernes Hotel, unser Zimmer hatte 2 Queensize Betten. Frühstück war ausreichend, es gibt eine Waffelmaschine, Müsli, Joghurt, deftig, Bagel, Toast, eine separate Kaffeemaschine die auch heiße Schokolade kann. Leider viel Müll der beim Frühstück entsteht (Wegwerfgeschirr, Mini-Marmeladen Plastikverpackung, Plastikbecher für Saft... das scheint aber leider in Kanada so Standard zu sein. Hier könnte das Hotel (alle Hotels) nachhaltiger werden!) In näherer Umgebung direkt ein Walmart und andere Fast Food Restaurants. Kostenloser Parkplatz direkt am Hotel. Es gibt eine Waschmaschine (3CAD) und Trockner (3CAD), aber man benötigt hierfür Münzen. Kostenloses WLAN. Kleiner Pool (recht kühl) und kleiner Fitnessraum.

Der Müll der beim Frühstück entsteht (keine Nachhaltigkeit!). Was spricht gegen normales Besteck, Teller und Gläser? Aber diese Erfahrung haben wir leider in allen Hotels gemacht in denen wir in kanada unterwegs waren.

Das Zimmer mit zwei Doppelbetten ist sehr großzügig und recht modern.

Volle Mülleimer mit Essensresten wurden vor die Zimmer auf den Flur gestellt, standen den ganzen Tag davor und wurden nicht geleert. Frühstück gab es auf Papptellern, Plastikbesteck und Becher dazu… von Umweltschutz hat man hier noch nichts gehört.

The location was great! Walking distance to WalMart, Dollarama, Domino's etc. The rooms were clean and well kept and the AC was blowing cold. Great experience with a small exception.

We were on a child friendly floor. One of the other guests knocked on our door and complained that our kids were too loud at 10am in the morning. Some of the kids we were traveling with had special needs. My recommendation is to be careful where you place people who are traveling without kids. Kids are loud, needs or not. If best Western doesn't want to accomodate new parents or parents with children who have needs, please put this in your reservation. The combatant guests told us that she reported us to management although we didn't hear anything from management. Our experience overall was great but this guest definitely made our happy ending, a little bitter.

Le personnel était très accueillant et serviable. La chambre était impeccable, propre et confortable. Le petit déjeûner varié et en quantités généreuses. L'hotel se trouve proche de tous les services et des autoroutes.

L'insonorisation n'est pas au top. On entend les bruits dans le corridor, les pas du voisin du dessus, les enfants courrir partout et crier dans la chambre à côté. Mais heureusement que les lits sont si confortables qu'on s'endort rapidement et profondément, on finit par ne rien entendre 😊

Location didn’t have great ambiance due to surroundings but some would see restaurants and retail outlets like Walmart as a convenience. Our room was good but a broken bed spring kept annoying us. A hand held shower needs to be added for the shower.

My experience at this hotel was quite poor due to significant hygiene issues. Housekeeping was inadequate, as the room was not cleaned properly during my entire stay. Furthermore, the pool was visibly dirty, which was very disappointing. I hope management takes these comments seriously to improve the guest experience

The hotel seems freshly and attractively decorated. Our room was comfortable and well appointed. The breakfast was splendid and the furnishings of the breakfast area offered a pleasant place to sit and enjoy the first meal of the day. The staff were friendly and helpful. There were many stores and restaurants within walking distance.

The bathroom was small and the door to it relatively large, which made it difficult to enter and exit. The traffic from the nearby Walmart parking lot was quite heavy, which meant there were times of day when it could be a bit challenging to enter or leave the hotel's own parking lot.

It was a nice spacious room, very clean with comfortable beds. Breakfast is exceptional. Hotel has a good swimming pool and fitness room.

We had a mini vacation in Parry Sound and stayed overnight at this hotel. Check in was fast and the clerk was friendly. The hotel is newer and very clean. We enjoyed a spacious room with coffee maker, mini fridge and microwave. It was a Sunday night and we had the pool to ourselves, it was awesome! Water temperature was perfect and towels were available for us. There's a Walmart right behind the hotel so we had a little shopping, very convenient! Beds were comfortable and the room was quiet. Breakfast buffet was very good with a wide variety of foods including omelets, sausages, waffles, muffins, yogurt etc. Plenty of seating areas and staff to assist us. Would definitely stay here again!

Hotel room floors felt gritty in bare feet and we to wipe off the bottom of our feet getting back into bed if we didn't want the grit in the bed. I'm guessing the grit was likely sand as sand looks to be used on roads and sidewalks in icy conditions.

Pillows are terrible, beds were ok. Could not get the room to a comfortable temp, was either too hot or too cold.

As we need to be in Parry Sound periodically, this facility is ideal for us. The breakfast is more than sufficient and we make use of both the work-out area and the pool which both meet our needs. We'll be back.

Won't stay at best western hotels anymore due to to many dogs and large dogs. I shouldn't have to contact front desk for barking dogs. Hotels are no place for large dogs.

Modern hotel, room was large and clean, bed very comfy including pillows, USB port available, shower was great, with good water flow, warm temperatures, and overall very quiet, breakfast was decent. Location is good, nearby grocery stores and restaurants, and 3 minutes drive to DT.

It can be noisy in the corridor, depending on the other parties spending a night.

Conveniently located a block from the airport this brand new hotel has everything you need except a hotel bar. The suite I was in, had a very large desk, which was wonderful for a working vacation, but would also double as a great table as it had access for chairs on both sides. I initially could not find the closet because the barn doors for the bathroom cover the closet when they are open, I was a little confused unpacking, but figured it out The fitness centre is well equipped, the front desk staff are amazing and the complementary breakfast in the morning was satisfactory. I would definitely stay at this hotel again unless I need to be downtown thunder Bay.

It is a great location just off the highway. Very convenient if you are driving.

Sehr schönes und modernes Hotel. Das Zimmer war sehr gross und komfortabel eingerichtet. Sehr freundliches Personal. Top Sauberkeit. Im Frühstücksraum hat eine sehr nette Dame, ihr Name ist GINA, immer grad den Tisch und die Stühle geputzt wenn jemand gegangen ist, so saubere Tische haben wir selten gesehen. Ein grosses Kompliment an Gina - Top!!! Sie war auch sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Die Kaffeemaschine 24/7 in der Lobby braucht eine Ewigkeit bis sie aufgewärmt ist.

On your official website, there says you offer luggage storage service but when i asked for it the lady at the reception said you guys do not offer such service. I actually showed her the website page but she claimed that the website is run by a third party and it was not updated. This caused me a big problem because I dont have a car. I tried to figure out a solution but there is no locker service nearby. I asked how would you guys deal with lost items? Somehow she misunderstood my question and said your hotel actually offer service to receive packages on behalf of guests. She said the hotel can do that because you are sure that the guest will come to pick up. When you think about there is actually no guarantee thus not a reasonable explanation to me. I assume that you do not throw away lost items of guests but store them somewhere for a reasonable time for the guest to contact and retrieve them. So technically this is a luggage storage service. I dont see why you cannot provide luggage storage if you deal with lost items. Additionally, you staff mentioned that you guys even take deliveries for guests, so that is an item storage service. Same thing just different names. Your staff is not helping when the mistake is on your hotel side. I even suggested that I can place my luggage behind the front desk and sign a paper saying that anything happens to my items will be on me and no fault of the property but your staff insisted that this is not an option. I have reminded your staff that the website should be updated, information is misleading and was not expected from a big brand like best western inn. On top of that this is not an acceptable excuse either since this is not the first day you opened. This ruined my whole experience unfortunately.

The floor in the bathroom we’re a little dirty. The air conditioning unit was very noisy. I did let them know on my way out.

I generally love this hotel. I’ve stayed a few times now and it’s beautiful and perfectly located and the staff is so kind and quick to help. However, this time I was on the ground level floor which is next to the lobby. It was extremely loud up until around 1-2am as the lobby is huge and an open concept, the noise echoed down the hall and it was insane. I did not sleep at all those 3 nights I stayed. Whoever designed the hotel should not have put any rooms next to be the lobby. Otherwise, love the hotel, just won’t stay on the ground level ever again.

Very accommodating. Travelling with elderly parents. Not able to get adjoining rooms, but we're given rooms beside each other. Breakfast was good. Full hot breakfast options plus cereals. Close to shopping.

We were only there long enough to sleep and shower. We had a full itinerary so we really couldn’t take advantage of all the amenities, but we slept well. 😊

It’s a nice place. Staff upon arrival friendly and polite. But in the morning, with the kids running in the hall, distributing our sleep- not so nice. Staff upon check out- could do better in customer service - meh.

The staff was lovely and helpful. They all seemed to enjoy their work. Everything is neat and clean. The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable. I slept for 9 hours which is very rare for me. Kudos to the manager for a very nice experience.

When we arrived we found staff ok. Went to our room and tv wasn’t working. Staff member came and couldn’t figure out why. Front desk said Bell was out. Online Bell had no issues in the area. Family we were visiting had no issues with same service. Finally back on our last night. Breakfast area was good!! Lady working was wonderful!

Perfect stay! Will definitely use Best Western Plus again. Relaxing space + everything you need + a great staff. Thanks so much!

Great beds. Included breakfast is good and attendant is friendly. Lost power twice-no generator Lost cable for 2 days Pool heater broken for our entire week and sign appeared old and tattered indicating a long-term issue. Non- functional receptacles despite breaker reset. Overall this new-ish property seemed poorly maintained and staff appeared disinterested.

Early on the second evening, the smoke detector in our room suddenly went off repeatedly with a deafening noise. Hotel staff made several unsuccessful attempts to turn it off. Finally, a portable smoke detector was installed for us. At 4:30 a.m., the alarm went off again. We jumped up with a start, grabbed our things, and ran to the reception with the smoke detector. The night was over for us. The receptionist apologized as we checked out and told us that only the hotel manager could address our sleepless night. He would contact us by email the same day. Despite my repeated attempts by email, the hotel management has not yet seen fit to respond. We cannot recommend the hotel under this management and are very disappointed with Bed & Western.

The location of the hotel was excellent. There were many shopping choices and dining options nearby. The hotel was clean. We were greeted as we came in. The breakfast was lovely. I would definitely stay here again.
