Great location and free breakfast. Staff are super nice and very helpful. Overall a very relaxed stay with nice, clean rooms. There's a cot if you need an extra bed as well!

There is no freezer in the rooms unfortunately. It also felt a little pricey for the location, but I did book the same day so it's not a big deal.

This is meeting the expectations. The room was clean, bath in the bathroom which is very convenient when you have kids. The location is perfect when you do a road trip. The breakfast was included which is rare for a motel. And the price is very reasonable for what you get.

Nothing I didn't like. This is a motel with a fair price so decoration is a bit outdated and it's noisy but it is to be expected with a motel.

Bed was a little hard for my liking but that’s a just a personal preference.

Being next to a friendship center.

I was a little worried about safety. I seen the friendship center was tightly secured and had to buzz awhile before anyone opened it. I thought maybe the area might be shady.

The location is very central.There is a fridge, microwave, and coffee maker for convenience. The room was very clean, comfortable bed and very nice hosts.

Location was downtown and close to waterfront area.

Room smelled like mothballs. Smell was so strong that we had to leave after 10 minutes. Front desk would not issue a refund. There were no other rooms available. Regret ever booking here. Should not have travelled to Parry Sound. We were satisfied with our accommodations in Barrie, Elora, Toronto and Niagara Falls.

It was pleasant. The staff was very kind and messaged after check in to make sure all was well. The room was clean, and looked updated. Everything worked as it should.

I think it would benefit to either turn the heat on prior to guest checking in, or perhaps look into in floor heating. The heater is just a wall plugin heater and it was set to 68 when we arrived. It took several hours to warm the room up to a comfortable temperature at -25 outside.

The room was clean and tidy and had everything we needed. I would guess that they have been remodeled lately, since the bathroom tiles looked more modern. No complaints at all.

The lobby is kinda small and cramped feeling, but don't let that put you off. The rooms are quite satisfactory. I am not sure where the breakfast is, but I also didn't really go searching for it, as we had other breakfast plans.

Property was in a good location for what was needed. Right in town, easy to walk to/from everything. Little breakfast set up and coffee machine in the morning was really nice!

The property had a strong smell that seemed to be covered up with perfume/scented items. Once you were in the room and got used to the smell it wasn’t so bad, but the initial hit was very strong going in & out of the room.

No toiletries, although it says here that they are provided. Our power was out when I suddenly woke up at 5am, what? This stay has been a nightmare for me. Staff was kind enough (although I had a very hard time understanding what was being said to me when I called about the power.) I am currently sitting here, crying in the toiletry free bathroom waiting to get the heck out of here. The bed and pillows were awful, had a worse time trying to figure out how to cool the room last night when the heat got to be too much. If I were a person with a bigger mouth I would be asking for a partial refund. I've never stayed in a worse place, and $130 was way too much to stay here. My bad for not knowing Parry Sound had a place like this. I would never recommend, and would never ever stay here again. The title is misleading, pay a little more and stay ANYWHERE else.

Good location and very cozy clean rooms. Comfortable beds, enough pillows. There is everything you might need: fridge, microwave, coffeemaker in the room. For breakfast they provide cereal with milk, some bread for toast (a lot of condiments for toast like butter, peanut butter or jam), muffins and coffee.

The water in the shower was warm, not hot.

Things I don't like: It would have been nice to have some water bottles kept in the room.

Nichts! Auch nicht die Lage, welche andere Gäste loben, weil Parry Sound nicht viel zu bieten hat. Wenn man auf der Durchreise ist und eine Übernachtung benötigt, ganz nett. Aber extra hinfahren lohnt nicht. Auch wenn einge Reiseführer anderes behaupten.

Bei dem Preis war ich durchaus skeptisch, doch die relativ guten Bewertungen anderer Gäste veranlassten mich dann doch zu buchen. Letztlich war das Zimmer klein und ziemlich trostlos eingerichtet. Es haben wohl mal Renovierungen stattgefunden, diese sind aber ziemlich dilletantisch ausgeführt. Bis dahin würde das zum Preis passen. Was aber auch durch einen günstigen Preis nicht zu rechtfertigen ist, ist, dass unserer Nichtraucherzimmer nach Zigaretten gestunken hat als hätten sich die letzten 60 Jahre nur Kettenraucher darin aufgehalten und das Nichtraucher Schild wurde erst gestern angebracht. Ich hatte durchaus schon Zimmer in denen mal gequalmt wurde, was schon unangenehm war. Aber das hier ist nicht der Qualm von einer Nacht, da ist schon alles durch und durch geräuchert. Dabei hat es auch beim Check Inn an der Rezeption schon fürchterlich gestunken, wenngleich nicht nach Zigaretten. Auch das Frühstück sah so einladend aus, dass wir lieber darauf verzichteten.

Breakfast is terrible. First, it's only takeout. No place to eat in the serving area. No trays to help you take juice and toast and coffee and muffin to your room. And no lids for the cups... And what is offered is minimal and poor quality. The only good part is the coffee. Two awful cereals, white toast and butter, a sugary drink pretending to be juice and good coffee. No eggs, or cheese, or fruit, or yoghurt, or tea As for the room, it's pretty good. Everything is new and functioning. The only issue is that there is no storage space for clothes at all.

Good rooms for a good price. Everything was clean and comfortable and staff were very friendly and helpful. It’s not a Holiday Inn, e.g. breakfast, (they do have an espresso machine though :), outside entrance, but at least it’s clean and maintained. Would recommend if you’re looking for a clean place to sleep at an affordable rate.

Ok, but I don’t understand why they feel the need to use sand paper for towels.

Breakfast was rather poor. Muffins, toast, and “economy” coffee. If you want something to eat, you should go to a nearby restaurant or buy some food and prepare it yourself. Motel rooms - standard, clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. They helped us print our reservation for Algonquin Park. We also got an upgrade to two rooms next to each other.

Breakfast was pretty poor. At 4 a.m., the owner of a large pickup truck started his car and kept it running for over fifteen minutes... A HEMI engine can be quite noisy in the middle of the night :-) Other than that, everything was OK.

The motel has been fixed up and is fine for a no-nonsense trip. Noise from the second floor can easily be heard in the rooms on the first floor. Breakfast leaves a bit to be desired.

All was good. Nice clean room.

It is okay if you are just looking for somewhere to stay overnight without expectations. The rooms we stayed in had weird smell to them. Check out time should be 11 am instead of 1030 am. Breakfast should be offered till a later time.

It was just a place to sleep for one night. It was clean and quiet and easy to walk to restaurants.

You get what you pay for. Pictures look good but the reality is less impressive. A very basic no frills experience. Shower tap was close to falling off. Caution climbing the stairs to second level...they're not all 11/7. Trains go by almost on the hour using their horns but l was not bothered during sleeping hours. I arrived to a strong cleaning fluid smell in the room. They have small bath towels. 11 min walk to harbourfront. 5 min walk to downtown shops. Breakfast was to be at 7am but the person moved the partition at 7:35 am.... only to reveal day old bread, small plain muffins and cereal. Nothing hot at all. I left to get breakfast at Tims. Overall l was disappointed. I don't know how they get a high rating.

Clean room and friendly stafff

It’s a lovely, seemingly family owned, business. It’s clean and has everything you need for a stay. We love the proximity to the library and the staff was courteous and friendly. My daughter adored the king size bed.

Room was clean and staff was nice. The breakfast wasn’t really much of a breakfast but other than that it was a convenient place to get a good night sleep when out of town.

Mattress was excellent

Fridge made a high pitched noise all night . Room was upstairs , have a problem with knees ( our fault for not requesting) we were not told that a coffee/breakfast was available at reception and the coffee in room was terrible not drinkable .
