Well i would not say didn’t like about the property Food was a mixed concern We ordered dinner which was delicious and had high hopes for breakfast which was a let down but i would not take anything away from the property as this is easily fixable

Your details are leaked to all the staff on the property, some of them look at you inappropriately and then stalk your socials. Scary!

One of the most picturesque locations in Kerala. The breakfast and dinner buffets were stunning. Absolutely hospitable staff. The highlight was meeting the most adorable Max, the Newfoundland. All in all, one of our most memorable stays.

Amazing rooms and staff

Beautiful location in the hills, loved the view from dining room. Staff was exceptional, very friendly and would do anything to please. Especially Shanku, Vishnu, and Subash. They even gave us a candlelight dinner with flower petals on our last evening. Activities were fun and well planned. We enjoyed the afternoon tea and the magic show/ hand puppet show.

The bathroom in the room was smelly, possibly because it was open to the outside via ventilation holes.

We absolutely loved our stay! Ude at the front office is truly one of the most humble and kind individuals we’ve come across—he went out of his way to ensure we were comfortable and well taken care of throughout. The rooms were warm and cozy, the staff was courteous and attentive, and every little detail added to a memorable experience. Overall, it was a wonderful stay that we’ll cherish.

We had a great stay at Great Trails Wayanad. The property is beautiful, peaceful, and very well maintained. The staff were courteous and helpful, rooms were clean and comfortable, and the food was excellent. Overall, a very relaxing and memorable experience. Would definitely recommend and visit again!

The resort is well maintained. The location is on a hill top in Wayanad. The staff is well trained. On the weekend, in the evening there was live music. The dinner was extremely good. Complimentary evening hi-tea was good. The view from the verandah was good for my room. The bathroom was as big as a master bathroom and the bathtub was the highlight. My 2 year old daughter was also excited about the large bathtub and bathroom. Exceptional service by Alan, Vishnu, Ashwant and others (sorry I couldn't recall all the names). All the staff were fantastic. Thank you so much for a delicious cake by the head chef and making our anniversary memorable. Thanks for the wonderful valet services.

I could see pets were allowed and one of the hotel representatives said that there are separate rooms for pets and non-pets but if there is too much demand and a busy season then sometimes they provide pet rooms!! That's a little concern especially with kids as linens will be changed but never the curtains or sofa. I had seen the sofa was dirty, now I don't know if the dirt was due to pets or humans. But in any case please don't mix pet friendly rooms, as everyone doesn't like it and I am one of them. We need to keep a distance and separation as these can be medically advised.

The bathroom was very humid and not tidy in the edges , with an unpleasant smell!, mostly due to humidity because of poor ventilation in the bathroom compartment!!..

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The staff were extremely courteous and helpful, the property was very clean, well-maintained, and beautiful, and the amenities were excellent. The food was delicious. I would definitely love to stay here again.

I would say The lack of international food options for breakfast and the smell of sewage coming from the bathroom. And i guess The price is excessive considering the resort also needs some maintenance.

Went with my family to celebrate my wife's birthday. The stay was excellent. Excellent hospitality from all the staff there, especially Mr. Faizan and Mr. Vipin. All our requests such as spa and pool access, birthday cake request, etc. were handled graciously by the staff. Special mention to Mr. Abraham, Mr. Lijo, and Mr. Ijaz. Thank you so much for the love and care during our visit. Definitely recommend!

THE AREA IS GREEN AND OPEN

The property is beautiful, has a very tranquil vibe. The pond at the reception, calm music that plays everywhere and the greenery were our favourite touches. The staff also went an extra mile to accommodate our special request to celebrate my parents’ anniversary, which was so so nice of them, we appreciate and thank them very much :)

Breakfast and quality of food overall requires improvement. We were served extremely oversalted fish on our first dinner, asked for a sugar lime soda and received a sugar AND SALT soda (which we couldn’t drink). Breakfast options were good but lacked flavour (no complaints about the live counter, everything from there was very good), juices felt super diluted.

Amazing !! No words to describe on how amazing and clean this place is. The fact that it’s sooo neat and so sharp. 8 don’t have words to describe. The place is soo peaceful. My special thanks to Mr Albin - he has been one of the most humble and amazing host, with his constant assistance and my endless needs , a very dedicated person to serve us the best. and also Mr Kartik to help keep patient with our endless inquiry.infact all the staffs are amazing. From the food service to guard they have been the most humble and always with the best smile on their faces. The rooms are spacious and neat. Love and the best experience. My first trip to India and I can say I ended it in the best way.

Brilliant location and property, very nice rooms, and super staff all around. F&B was very well managed - lots of options, also very accommodating. It was super being able to take the pet along, 5 star pet treatment as well.

Excellent food! The Traditional Kerala banana leaf meal overlooking the Wayanad hills was the highlight of the Stay. Special mention for Mr Vishnu in the Restaurant. The Magic show in the evening by Mr Jammu was a pleasant surprise for the Family

We (family of four) stayed at GRT from 25th to 27th December 2024. Probably our finest experience of a resort/hotel - and we have done quite a bit of traveling both in India and abroad. Everything was great - but what made our stay outstanding was the staff. Every staff member you came across anywhere, made you feel at home. They were super responsive any small thing you asked for and always with a smile. Earlier this month I had stayed in a much more expensive resort in Goa, and after that lackluster experience, this was a breath of fresh air. Of course, the property itself is fantastic and in a beautiful location. I would recommend this place wholeheartedly to anyone who wants to have a great time.

Gym can have more equipment. Spa can be bigger, found difficult to get an appointment.

The staff were amazing, very friendly and the Chefs especially Chef Arun went out of their way to cater to my Gluten Free diet. The food was excellent and the views were amazing from the reception and the room.
