Ci ha dato molti consigli e indicazioni su come rendere piacevole il nostro soggiorno. Da tornarci un posto. Lo consiglio vivamente.

La maison est superbe, décorée avec beaucoup de goût et de charme. Les chambres sont très bien aménagées, confortables et décorées avec soin. Le lieu est très calme, avec un beau jardin et une agréable piscine. Tout est également d’une grande propreté. Situé à quelques kilomètres d’Óbidos, cet hébergement mérite vraiment le détour. Nous le recommandons vivement pour un séjour au calme dans un cadre magnifique. Merci encore à João pour son accueil chaleureux et son hospitalité ! Stationnement facile devant la maison

Reviewed Aug 9, 2026Laranjeira is everything his owner João wants it to be: a gorgeous place where you can enjoy a relaxing evening after a day at the beach or visiting Obidos. The house is spotless (it smells great, like wood and flowers), very tastefully put together and you can truly feel the love and work that was put into it. Joäo was extremely welcoming and gave us a ton of helpful tips and recommendations. The location is perfect, giving quick access to the local attractions (special mention to the Dom Carlos I park in nearby Caldas da Rainha).
Nothing, really. I would just say a toaster would be a nice addition for breakfast, given that the stove and oven are not accessible.

Reviewed Jul 22, 2026The house is very hygienic and the rooms are big. The host is very welcoming and friendly. Most of the interior is handmade, this adds a lot of charm.
The pool is extremely small, I wouldn't call it a pool actually. In the rooms with 2 floors, the air-conditioning was only downstairs so it didn't cool down enough at the sleeping area. The house isn't near to anything (10min drive to Obidos)/ isn't in a charming area.

Reviewed Jul 17, 2026Zeer vriendelijke ontvangst in het familiehuis, er zijn vier tweepersoons kamers, de kamers zijn schoon, stil en in een zeer goede staat. Vanaf de locatie ben je met de auto in een kwartier in Obidos en in twintig minuten op het strand ‘Praia do Bom Sucesso’ waar je mooi kan wandelen en zwemmen. In dertig minuten ben je in Peniche.
Zonder auto is er in de directe nabijheid weinig te doen

Reviewed Jul 13, 2026El apartamento en sí está chulisimo. Está lleno de obras de arte. A todo se le ha dado una nueva vida y utilidad. Muy bonito, el detalle cuidado al máximo. Está perfectamente limpio. El dueño te da la bienvenida personalmente y tiene unos detalles contigo, te explica los servicios que tienes por la zona y las actividades que puedes hacer. Habla por los codos y es muy simpático.
No me gustaron los colchones. Sé que es algo muy personal pero me parecieron extremadamente duros para mi cuerpo al ser de muelle continuo. Para mi es muy importante dormir bien y dormí regular. Sé que hay gente que no le importa pero es una cuestión personal. He de decir que los colchones son nuevos pero es eso son de muelle continuo y para mí son insufribles, sé que son así. Como crítica constructiva cambiaría los colchones de muelles por unos de espuma y la gente quedará encantada porque el sitio está de lujo.

The rooms and common areas were super clean and very comfortable and cozy. We had everything we needed. We also loved the design and the hand-made details! You could see that it has all been prepared with love. The complementary water and delicious home made cookies were also very welcoming. I can highly recommend and would stay here again.

Desde a maravilhosa recepção do proprietário João ao conforto da casa, com muitos detalhes cheios de amor. O quarto é maravilhoso, cama muito confortável. O exterior da casa é lindo, com uma vista maravilhosa. Sem dúvida que iremos voltar. Recomendo a quem queira descansar e sentir-se em casa. A localização também é perfeita, desde restaurantes, praias. Tudo perfeito para aproveitar e descansar.

The house is so nice, very clean and well cared for, with beautiful details and a history that makes it special. We also appreciated all the local information he shared with us — it helped us make the most of the area. It’s ideal if you’re traveling by car, as it’s very close to Óbidos. We would definitely come back.

Es gibt eine tolle Gemeinschaftsküche und eine sehr netten Außenbereich. Unser Zimmer war in zwei Etagen aufgeteilt, unten das Bad mit einem kleinen Wohnbereich und oben ein sehr schönes Schlafzimmer mit einer großen Terrasse. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt- Danke 🙏 P.s. Die Kekse der Gastgeberin mit dem Kirschlikör sind Mega lecker 😋.

Besonders hervorheben möchten wir den sympathischen Gastgeber, der uns mit vielen hilfreichen Tipps versorgt hat und jederzeit ansprechbar war. Reviewed Apr 19, 2026João is a wonderfully welcoming host. Situated in a quiet quaint village, it's the ideal place to relax. Clearly a lot of time and work has gone into making the guesthouse feel so warm and inviting. This is a place with real character and full of cute little touches throughout. Flawlessly clean and tidy too. We hope to come back for a longer stay soon.

Reviewed Dec 21, 2025Het huis is enorm mooi, echt alles was aanwezig, het was super schoon en de ontvangst heel hartelijk. De bijzondere interieuritems waren door de host zelf gemaakt en hadden allen een verhaal. Heel leuk. Heerlijke locatie met veel tips en goede zorg.
Lag wat verder van stadje Obidos af dan we verwachtten waardoor we het niet fijn vonden daar 's avonds(december) naartoe te gaan.

Reviewed Dec 10, 2025Absolutely beautiful! Very cosy and the hosts are lovely people, super welcoming. They gave us also a lot of tips on what to do, which was great. It is very close to Obidos but also to the beach locations. The rooms are super nice and clean, and the common areas too. Lovely patio, very peaceful.

Reviewed Oct 30, 2025Ein ganz toller Ort. Sehr ruhig. Das Haus ist sehr liebevoll hergerichtet. Der Besitzer nimmt einen so nett in Empfang man merkt sofort wie viel Herz er in das Haus seiner Oma gesteckt hat. Es steht selbstgemachtes Gebäck und Likör bereit. Soooo gemütlich vom großen - Gemeinschaftsbereich mit tollem Garten bis zum toll gestalteten Zimmer. Ich wäre gerne länger geblieben und würde auf jeden Fall wieder kommen!

Reviewed Oct 21, 2025Our room and the entire house are so beautifully decorated. We loved all the unique antiques. Everything was SO clean! Our balcony room was quite spacious with two levels. We also appreciated the use of the common kitchen and living room as well as the outdoor/pool courtyard. This is a fantastic place to stay a short drive from charming Obidos.Highly recommend!!

Reviewed Oct 13, 2025Είχε πολύ ωραία διακόσμηση και ήταν πεντακάθαρο. Οι οικοδεσπότες μας κατατόπισαν απόλυτα, μας πρόσφεραν και χειροποίητα μπισκότα!
Ο χώρος είχε αρκετή υγρασία, το χωριό δεν είχε κάτι να κάνεις.
