This accomodation was fantastic. The owners were so friendly and helpful. The accomodation is so convenient to the castle. The decor is sympathetic to the environment and very comfortable. The owners suggestion for restaurants and the area didn’t disappoint. Local knowledge makes for an enjoyable stay. Thankyou

Erg vriendelijk ontvangt met uitgebreide uitleg over de stad. Je loopt zo het stadje binnen wat leuk is voor een avond. Verbleven er maar 1 nachtje dus muv de koffie machine verder geen gebruik van de keuken gemaakt. Aanrader om hier te verblijven.

La ubicación es ideal (también es cierto que el pueblo es pequeñito), el apartamento estaba super limpio y preparado; nos encantaron todas las recomendaciones de los anfitriones, su ayuda para que conociésemos el pueblo y todo lo que podíamos hacer allí :-)

Everything, the proximity of the property to the walls was great, it was clean comfortable and the hosts provided an excellent overview of Obidos which enabled us to maximise our sort time there.

Der Empfang durch Tiago war herzlich. Er hat uns alles erklärt und entspechende Infos abgegeben. Die Wohnung und Treasse sind zweckmässig eingerichtet, man fühlt sich sofort wohl. Das Städtchen ist bequem zu Fuss erreichbar. Es lohnt sich, eine Besichtigung gegen Abend vorzunehmen, wenn die Touristen weggefahren sind. Dora und Tiago sind perfekte Gastgeber und jederzeit erreichbar.

The property was in a fantastic location and Tiago went out of his way to make us feel comfortable and provide us with information about restaurants, travel arrangements and things to do, as well as providing us with some treats from the area. The apartment was great and had everything needed, however the bathroom was a little small and cramped but manageable. Overall everything was excellent and we had a great stay.

It is impossible to say anything negative about this property, it’s location and the host. A beautifully decorated and comfortable property with excellent amenities and located a short walk from two of the entrances to the walled town of Obidos. The host, Tiago, even met us at the bus station to help with our luggage. He spent time to take us through everything to see and do in Obidos including recommendations on shopping, dining and other attractions. The perfect host.

Great location, just outside the wall. Owners were wonderful and put a lot of effort out to improve our stay and give us local guides and suggestions. The apartment was decorated so cute with beach theme. I especially loved their tile in kitchen and bathroom, and the window boxes in bedroom and lighting. Nice to have the kitchen and 2 markets very close. Free parking by unit. Quite patio with garden. Easy assess off highway. If you stay here Don’t miss “Buddha Eden Garden of Peace” 35 acres of art, Asian and African. Unbelievable! Only 13km away

Very clean, comfortable apartment in a traditional Portuguese house. Great location just outside the walled town. The hosts were amazing. We stayed for 3 nights and used it as a base to explore Obidos and surrounding areas. We would definitely recommend this apartment.

Muito próximo do centro histórico de Óbidos, casa moderna e renovada, ideal para um casal. Anfitriões super disponíveis, simpáticos e preocupados com a qualidade da estadia.

A nível de conforto, podia ser melhor. O alojamento não tinha cadeiras para refeição, apenas bancos mas, após solicitar as mesmas aos anfitriões, foram-nos fornecidas 2 cadeiras, que ajudaram no conforto.

Dora nos atendió de forma excepcional. Nada más llegar, nos estaba esperando con una plaza de aparcamiento justo en la puerta del alojamiento, algo que se agradece muchísimo ya que Óbidos es un lugar complicado para aparcar. Además, disponen de una página web muy completa que te ayuda con toda la estancia en Óbidos y en un radio de 30 km, lo cual es realmente útil. También pudimos probar la ginginha y unas pastas típicas que nos dejaron en el alojamiento, un detalle muy especial. Nos ayudaron con la reserva en el restaurante y todo fue perfecto. Un 10 en todos los aspectos. Totalmente recomendado.

Puntos a mejorar: En la entrada se agradecería contar con un perchero para los abrigos y, en el cuarto de baño, un pequeño calefactor. Aun así, sin estos detalles, el alojamiento es de 10.

I was met by Tiago, the host, who helped me get settled with all the necessary information about the place and lots of tips on what to see, where to eat etc. The place is the perfect size for solo travellers or a couple. As it's walking distance (with free parking) from the walled city of Óbidos, it makes it a perfect spot to roam the city for a day or two. The bed is comfortable, the kitchen well equipped, the living room cozy for a night in.

Perfect size and location! Clean, quiet, comfortable….it had everything I needed for my 3 night stay.

My hosts, Tiago and Dora, have made the property even more fabulous than it already is. They’re willingness to share things to see and do and how to get there is such a great help.”My Nest” here has been absolutely wonderful with an amazing view of the castle, fully lit in the evening, and beyond. Magical. The Christmas holiday decorating is in full swing. It was very fun to watch as each little shop prides itself in making a sweet display. It is a short walking distance to the castle and it’s a nice walk to see all of the homes along the way. My camera got a very good workout the entire time. Everything that you could need to have a great time inside is here. A full kitchen with all cooking necessities, a comfy living room with big TV, dining area, table, and that fabulous view, a small bathroom with a great shower, and a cozy bedroom with wonderful bedding and again that view. There is both heating and air. Not easy to find. Parking is right outside of the door, literally. Also not easy to find. Yummy treats, a bottle of wine and his mom’s homemade ginjinha (the best I’ve ever had) were all ready for me when I arrived. This is my eighth Airbnb in Portugal and absolutely at the top of the list. 10+. So great, as a matter of fact, I extended my stay. I just don’t want to leave. You will love Mood Lodging. The owners are the absolute best and they are on site.

숙소에 도착시간을 알려주었더니 호스트인 티아고가 직접 마중을 나와 오비두스에 대하여 구글지도와 다양한 정보를 알려주었습니다. 웰컴 기프트로 다양한 선물들을 제공해주면서 감동을 더 했습니다. 숙소는 매우 넓고 테라스에서는 오비두스 성벽이 바라보이고 전망이 너무나도 아름다웠습니다. 나자레나 신트라로 이동하기 편하고(렌트카) 숙소에서 오비두스까지 가까워서 걸어서 이동해도 충분합니다. 오비두스를 거점으로 두고 이 숙소를 선택 후 3박을 한것은 최고의 선택이었습니다.

Very pleasant couple Tiago and Dora greeted us when we arrived. Was easy to find and park right outside our unit. Tiago sowed us our unit and gave an introduction to the city of Óbidos and provided references info in English to sights and restaurant options. They also left a little sample of the cherry liqueur. They obviously take great pride in providing a comfortable home away from home for their guests. Very pleasant stay.

What's not to love. Tiago gave us a helpful and informative greeting, Obidos historical centre was beautiful, onsite parking very convenient, and the spacious apartment met all our needs. I would definitely recommend this accommodation :)

מקום האירוח מאובזר היטב, חשיבה על כל הפרטים הקטנים. מרווח ונעים, נקי, מיקום מצוין ביחס לחומה ולשער המרכזי. טיאגו אירח אותנו בצורה מדהימה, ישב והסביר לנו על הסביבה ועזר לנו לדייק מסלול טיול שיהיה מיטבי עבורנו. היה סבלני וזמין לכל בקשה. מקום מומלץ מאוד !!

קודם נשבח את בעלי הדירה המדהימים!!! טיאגו קיבל את פנינו כשהגענו בערב, הסביר לנו על אובידוש והיכן כדאי לטייל והביא לנו הרבה המלצות שוות ומועילות. וכן הביאו לנו משקה ועוגיות טעימות. הדירה עצמה מעולה, מרווחת וגדולה מטבח מאובזר שכיף לבשל בו כמו בבית יש סלון עם נטפליקס ומרפסות וכן יש חנייה נגישה ממש ליד דלת הדירה באמת דירה מעולה מכל הבחינות הליכה של כ5 דקות לתוך העיירה עצמה הייתה לנו שהייה מדהימה בדירה ובאובידוש הקסומה ממליצים מאוד מאוד!!!!

We spent two lovely nights in Obidos at Mood Lodging. Dora and Tiago were the most gracious hosts. Their properties were super clean and user friendly with an easy walk through the main gate of the castle walls. They were super attentive to seeing that we were well-informed about Obidos. Great stay!

Proprietari super disponibili, ci hanno fornito una mini guida dettagliata con gli highlights del villaggio e i posti migliori dove mangiare. Wir wurden sehr herzlich von Dora und Tiago empfangen, bekamen jede Menge Tipps für unseren Aufenthalt und ein Willkommensgeschenk. Das Appartement ist liebevoll eingerichtet, hat sogar eine voll ausgestattete Küche. Die Lage zur Altstadt ist ausgezeichnet. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt. Gerne wieder.

Perfect location to walk into the walled village. Our hosts went out of their way to help make our stay memorable, with lots of information, and tasters of biscuits and gin gimbra! Very quiet, excellent car parking space and felt very comfortable.

The host reserved a parking spot and provided customized tips about what to do. He explained the town’s medieval festival, options for dining, etc. The property is very well arranged, clean, and quiet, with good views of the castle.

The place is in an excellent location, just a short walk from the heart of Óbidos. It’s quiet, with a stunning view from the balcony. There is parking, which is a big advantage in this area. The owner is wonderful, welcoming, passionate, and very engaging. The apartment is well equipped, everything is clean and new.

The only downside of the apartment is the bathroom—the shower, toilet, and sink area is very small and not comfortable to use.

We like everything and Tiago was very helpful in telling us tips about Obidos . Where to eat, stores to check out or anything you needed. The place was great ! Totally recommend it. Relaxed , confortable, clean and has everything you need in an apartment.

Great location a short walk to the old town. The apartment has been finished to a high standard and the host gave us great information and some welcome local products.

We chose an apartment with a terrace rather than one with a small balcony which is above the terrace apartment and overlooks it. The lack of privacy on the terrace and the sound of people walking above us a lot of the time was an issue for us. I would stay here again but in the upper apartments.

It was in an ideal position to explore Óbidos. The property was spotlessly clean and had everything needed to make it a home from home. The terrace was a lovely spot to relax in. Hosts were superb , lovely welcoming touches.

The personal welcome from Tiago and Dora was the most thoughtful we have ever received. A complete list of local site and establishments that seemed custom fitted to our interests. Plus, Jinga (sp) and local wine and cookies were a special touch.

The cobblestones all throughout Portugal are not my favorite walking surface. Wear heavy soled shoes.

The apartment was clean, well appointed, and convenient. The best part of our stay was the Dora and Tiago!! Wonderful owners who helped us with dining and sites! Amazing stay in a beautiful city.

We had an excellent experience staying at Mood Lodging! Great apartment- sweetly decorated, extremely clean, and well appointed. Located just outside the old town walls, offering easy walking access to town while also providing a quiet space to come back to after exploring. The views of the castle and town walls from the apartment are lovely and add to the charm of the place. Tiago met us at check-in….was so friendly and helpful, and gave us wonderful recommendations and suggestions. We were very happy with our choice to stay here. Having free parking for our car was also ideal.
