Comfortable in a quiet location but only 20 walk to V&A waterfront with lovely restaurants. Room and hotel clean.

No tea and coffee, said it was self-catering.

Per chi deve fare shopping in centro CT la posizione è centrale. 10 min a piedi x il centro e 20 min a piedi x il Water Front. La zona non è pericolosa e si cammina tranquillamente. l’appartamento forniva di una cucina ben attrezzata.

Essendo nel centro di CT lo svantaggio è che è molto rumoroso, anche di notte. Ho dormito con i tappi ma sentivo comunque il traffico notturno. L’appartamento non dispone di un armadio. Abbiamo dovuto lasciare i vestiti nelle valigie aperte per terra. Servirebbero almeno delle mensole, anche in bagno per appoggiare le cose per l’igiene personale.

Great location but overall not good experience. The unit was not very clean and I had to call them to clean. No hot water for showers at night and they dont wash dirty crockery, just take them away so you are left with no mugs. Wont stay there again.

Brilliant Location, on site parking has a lift that goes straight to your room floor , very friendly staff (Honey). Nice on site restaurant. Room is very clean, stylish and modern.

Morning staff team was not as friendly and professional. Parking is very tight and narrow.

De locatie is uitstekend, dichtbij de belangrijkste uitvalsweg en op loopafstand van The waterfront, stadion en winkels

Het balcon is te klein om te zitten, de deur sloot niet en het tochtte door de ramen. Het warm water is zeer beperkt waardoor warm douchen alleen kan als je heel vroeg opstaat. Grootste ergernis was toch de meer dan 100(!) berichten via mail, sms en whatsapp die ik ontving vanaf ca 10 dagen voor aankomst en tijdens het verblijf! De burocratie van dit aparthotel is verstikkend!

Location is great and extremely central. Check-in process was fantastic and access smooth.

Rooms aren’t as well maintained and my aircon was broken.

Confined parking

Location was what i expected as I stayed at the property on previous occasions. Centrally located and close to major attractions

The room i viewed and booked on Booking.com was not the same room I was allocated. It was half the size of what I viewed and paid for. The hosts told me it was allocated by Booking.com and they were powerless to change. I am very disappointed with Booking.com

Id suggest that in cold seasons make use of winter sheets, it was a bit unpleasant and cold to sleep in those sheets

The location is wonderful if you like access to all the amenities in the area. Walking distance from everything, Shops, restaurants, Waterfront etc. If you want to use it for the DHL Stadium it is perfect. Good size too! Very spacious and Comfortable.

The water pressure was not good. Showers were very neat and well designed but the water let it down. The Safe didn't work.

It’s convenient

The light bulbs were fused, towels were not replaced, the microwave and stove was broken but was later fixed, the shower water was NOT hot at all and leaking, whilst floor towels were not provided. The room was not cleaned on day one. Booking.com does not state which floor the apartments are on, so you never really get your moneys worth.

Only half of the bathroom window is tinted in room 101. While you're in the shower, your neighbors and the main road can see you.

We were received very well by friendly staff. The room was beautiful and clean. Had everything we needed for our stay.

It’s at a perfect location firstly - close to everything (malls, shopping, coffee, restaurants, clubs) and it is secure. There are helpful staff and different parking lots to accommodate the type of car you have.

The inside parking is steep - scratching a few bumpers and quite narrow for learner drivers.

The two bedside lamps didn’t work and the microwave didn’t work either.

Book elsewhere. I stayed at Point Break 402 for 10 nights in May 2026. There was no functioning hot water throughout. I have video footage of a staff member confirming this had been ongoing for months before my arrival. When I raised it during my stay, I was told in writing it had "only been brought to our attention a few days ago." Those two positions cannot both be true. Propr's own maintenance technician confirmed the issue was affecting the entire floor. That same afternoon, a senior staff member wrote to Booking.com stating repairs were "completed previously" and both systems "operational" — directly contradicting their own findings and the video I hold. We checked out a night early as the property could not provide hot water for my post-marathon recovery. Contradictions ran throughout: inconsistent written positions on availability, unit allocation, relocation, and what was told to Booking.com. When raised in writing, I was told matters were "reviewed internally" — none were answered. This is marketed as luxury. During our stay: one AC unit covering only the bedroom, blinds with holes unrepaired after six days, a damaged fridge, blocked sockets, a malfunctioning intercom, failing key cards, and an "outdoor pool" that is a plunge pool. Propr cannot confirm a current TGCSA grading. I booked and paid in GBP. Propr refunded in Rand and refused to confirm the GBP equivalent. The refund has not arrived after six weeks and no transaction reference has been provided. My passport was photographed at check-in despite prior upload. POPIA questions on lawful basis, device used, and storage remain unanswered after two months. I hold full correspondence, photographs, video footage and screenshots of public reviews reporting the same issues over an extended period — to which the property's own management has responded. These problems are documented, known, and ongoing. Book elsewhere.

I liked the room and the view

I had no warm water with good pressure. Nobody came to clean my room. I had to clean it myself even though I placed the tag outside. I got moved to a room to shower and that bathroom flooded. So my last day was very unpleasant

Výborná poloha hotela, výhľad na Stolovú horu a k moru, čisto v apartmáne.

Počas pobytu hluk na chodbách, vo vyšších poschodiach (8. a 9.) bol slabý tlak vody, v kuchyni chýbala vo vybavení napr. panvica, nože boli tupé a nedali sa použiť. Možnosť platiť v reštaurácii iba cash.

The property is clean it has all the facilities you need the are is peaceful it is not my first time being at the property it’s my fourth time meaning that i genuinely love the place and I would book it over and over again when going to Cape Town.

The water was luke warm and not hot that was the only problem.

The room was super clean and organised , it was aesthetic and elegant .It’s super safe and secured . The shower was absolutely stunning .

There was lot of noise , seemingly there was a renovation being done , early in the morning we were barely able to sleep because it was like someone was hitting our wall , couldn’t even attend any of my online meetings due to the unbearable noise . The checking out time was 10am as we were informed , but someone was already at the door before 10am to see if we have checked out , that was weird as if we are being kicked out .

The water from the shower was cold even though we waited for some amount of time after opening the shower 🚿. The water could not be heated .. they were just in body temperature and that was cold

Departamento lindo y moderno, muy bien equipado y en buena zona y con supermercados cerca, el personal amable y muy dispuesto.

La entrada es con escaleras y cuesta subirlas con maleta. En la ducha habían unos pomos muy bonitos de jabón y champú pero eran de vidrio, de casualidad agarre mal uno y se cayó y se rompió llenando la ducha de muchos pequeños vidrios. Recomiendo poner siempre envases de plástico o fijos a la pared.

The services were exceptional, perfect accommodation that made our stay in Capetown memorable. The views and it being close to almost everything makes it even more convenient! ❤️

Primeiro, foi o atendimento péssimo de uma das funcionárias. Segundo, o quarto onde fui acomodada tinha um cheiro insuportável. Pedi para trocar de quarto, a funcionária recusou. A condição era pagar um adicional de 1000 Rands para um quarto exactamente do mesmo padrão mas que eles consideravam upgrade. Achei injusto porque o meu pedido foi por causa do cheiro e não por mera vontade… Solicitei a Booking um upgrade sem custos visto que tenho a categoria de cliente Genius mas esta reencaminhou o pedido para a propriedade - nada feito. A dada altura não suportei e preferi fazer o check-out antecipado e perder dinheiro. Mudei de hotel.

The water in the unit was cold which made showering unpleasant. The matter was not resolved. The guest was left no option but to tolerate it for the entire stay. Unacceptable

Leider eine große Enttäuschung. Obwohl das Hotel unsere Ankunftszeit bereits für 10 Uhr erfragt hatte, mussten wir für den Bezug der Suite statt der üblichen 15 Uhr bis 16:30 Uhr warten. In dieser Zeit sollten wir auf einer kleinen Bank vor dem Empfang sitzen und warten. Besonders enttäuschend war, dass uns trotz der Wartezeit nicht einmal ein Getränk auf Kosten des Hauses angeboten wurde. Die Rezeptionistin war dabei leider äußerst unkooperativ und nicht bemüht, eine Lösung zu finden. Als Gast fühlt man sich ignoriert, es gibt absolut keinen angemessener Service. Wir würden dieses Apartmenthaus definitiv nicht weiterempfehlen.
