We loved the location which was close to restaurants,shops and everything else we needed.We also loved that the apartment was homely.The staff make the place feel like home.

There was a problem with entering the parking garage some days where you had to wait for someone inside the hotel to open.

I loved how secure it all was and the staff was very friendly, super cute place in its self and was perfect for what we needed.

The safe got stuck & there was no maintenance staff available, we had to wait till the next morning to get our valuables. Also the pool closed @ 10pm...I feel like an indoor pool & gym area should be open later.

Location excellent for our needs and close proximity to some restaurants outside of the Waterfront. Very secure process for accessing the building

Lovely central place to stay. Walking distance to Warefront and DHL Stadium. Will absolutely stay there again on our next visit.

We got robbed by the ladies cleaning the room. Very bad experience. We reported it and we were told to open a case. And I went to the police and was told only my parents could open a case. And my parents were out of the country at the time I went to the police. Nothing has been done about it. Im sure those thieves are still there. You can find out from the manager they all know about it

The staff were friendly and welcoming. The hotel is close to my office work as I was there for work purposes. I want to use the hotel everytime I come for work because it is convenient for me. There are shops close by should I need to buy something.

When I arrived in my hotel, there were a lot flies. I opened the sliding door but it didn't help. I called to ask for someone to come with a spray to get rid of the flies but it didn't help. I had to learn to live with them which was uncomfortable. Secondly the shower nob was not releasing correct water pressure. I struggled to fix it.

Great location, our Room was facing Table Mountain . Which was splendid. Comfy beds. Very clean.

Very secure convenient location, with secure underground parking and lift to apartment level. Facilities were perfect for what we needed. Comfortable bed.

The apartment was very nice and cleaned, wonderful views and great location.

Although most of the staff were very nice, some security guards harressed my son around the gym, constantly interrupting his activities to ask about the mandatory towel almost every day, even banging on one of the walls and showing discrimination in their treatment of other customers. One of the security guards even made jokes about this situation at front desk in my presence. This continued when we moved to a private apartment in the hotel building. I would advise the hotel management to better address customer complaints about their staff instead of encouraging this type of unprofessional and, in my opinion, xenophobic behavior.

Location, washing machine and dryer in the apartment (although you need to get your own detergent)

No window in the bedroom. I got a lower level room and the view from the living room and balcony wasn't very nice. The hot water system had some issues during my stay.

Very nice apartment in a well located building with everything you might need or want around you. The restaurants downstairs are both good and the nearby Cape Quarter centre has all the stores you may need incl groceries, pharmacy etc. The area is vibey and close to major attractions

Very good location, friendly staff.

The bathroom towel smelled very bad, had to remove it. Cupboard doors in bathroom missing, cupboard look rotten and bad. Fridge was not stable, bin was also broken.

Everything was exactly as described. The apartment was spacious, with a lovely view, and located in a pleasant and safe neighborhood. The building has 24/7 security, which we really appreciated. The staff was friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this accommodation.

The only small issue was that the door locking system was a bit confusing at first, but we quickly got used to it and had no further problems.

It was central, had a view of the mountains, the pool and gym.

The cupboards and various features in the apartment are slowly following apart, our room had a leaking toilet and dirty bath. We asked to change the room but the options we were given were just as bad, if not worse.

They charge u on arrival R1000 for a breakage fee, but the big surprise is that when u in the room and u start to test the stuff u will see Room 307 coffee machine don't work and and the DSTV don't work at all, best off it all is there is no battery's in the remotes. So why do you charger a breaking fee is your apartment equipment isn't working, for me this is falls advertisement To my understand or to make it clear is they charge u the amount, so when u leave the next day they will not pay your amount back as policy state 7 working days due to the tv don't work all off sudden and the coffee machine but if u don't report it they will keep u responsible for the equipment.

It was clean and neat on arrival. I loved the security, it made us ladies feel safe.

Nos desaparecieron de la habitación 200$, de una carrera que estaba encima de una maleta. Comentando con el staff hablaron con el servicio de habitaciones quienes dijeron no haber sido ellos.Tienen un servicio en el que cada housekeeping graba lo que hace en la habitación, y lo revisaron. Sin embargo esa grabación se puede haber hecho después de haber sustraído el dinero y no confirma nada. No nos han ofrecido más explicaciones. Llevo usando hoteles y servicios de Booking mucho tiempo, nunca me habían robado dinero en ningún sitio.

Prompt response to challenges. My towel got mixed up with hotel lining and upon reporting it was located and returned immediately. Staff are also friendly and sign in and out systems are contact free.

It’s not disability friendly. Access into the property is with steps and there’s no ramp for wheelchair access or in the case with heavy luggage , ramp access to make it easier. There is however an elevator within the property. Sign in for one of my flatmates never worked and the team was not updated so depending on who was on duty, even on explaining , she had to go through registration all over only to find out it still wasn’t working.

It was confusing to figure out where the reception was as it’s combined with Rocafellas hotel I arrived at 1pm and was exhausted and the staff refused to let us check in, eventually I waited u til 2 pm and then waited for another 30 minutes to check in The process is ridiculously long The staff should be more accommodating

Appartamento ampio, ben arredato e fornito di tutto. Doppia camera da letto e doppio bagno. Ampio salotto e cucina. Pulizie quotidiane. Vicino al quartiere Waterfront e a pochi passi da Bo-Kaap. In mezz'ora di camminata massimo si raggiungono tutti i punti salienti della città. Parcheggio custodito nella struttura.

Very disappointing experience. We specifically chose this accommodation because of the swimming pool, especially for our children who were excited to swim during the holiday. Upon arrival, we discovered that the pool had already been closed for days. This information was never communicated before the booking, even though the property was clearly aware of the issue at that time. What makes this even worse is the way the situation was handled afterwards. We only received a response after involving Booking.com, and instead of taking responsibility, the hotel provided inaccurate statements and refused any form of compensation. The overall service was also very poor. Towels were not changed during our stay, and overall attention to guests and customer care was clearly lacking. This is not acceptable customer service and feels very dishonest. Important facilities advertised during booking should be available or at least transparently communicated in advance. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I cannot recommend this accommodation and would advise future guests to be careful when booking.

Location is superb - close to CBD, supermarkets and restaurants available in the same vicinity.

The blankets - were not warm blankets - I literally had to go and buy 2 more blankets for me to keep warm. Also the room do not have any heaters even the small portable ones for temporary warmth. It becomes uncomfortable during cold days like the ones we stayed.

Location was amazing and nice views

The apartment itself looked nice, but the overall experience was extremely disappointing due to the poor management and incompetent staff. The entry system operated with a key fob, which regularly failed to work. On one occasion, we were locked out for 4 hours waiting for someone to fix the issue. There was little communication or urgency from staff, who seemed completely clueless throughout our stay. When we arrived, the rooms were not properly prepared at all. Some beds were missing sheets, and unbelievably it took 2 full days for one of the beds to finally have bedding provided. Basic housekeeping standards were clearly not being met. The checkout process was equally frustrating. Reception insists on checking the room before you can leave, which can take 15–20 minutes, yet they fail to warn guests about this in advance. If you book a taxi for checkout time, expect problems because the delays are entirely on them. Overall, while the apartment itself had potential, the disorganised service, lack of professionalism, and completely unhelpful staff ruined the experience.

We had a fabulous stay! Close to the waterfront and shopping stores. Well located in a very nice and safe area.

Appartamento molto funzionale, comodo e pulito in un bel contesto. Ottima la possibilità di parcheggiare nel garage sottostante. Nel palazzo e nei dintorni ci sono una palestra, e alcuni caffè/ristoranti. Il centro si raggiunge a piedi in 15 minuti, così come il waterfront. Il quartiere di Bokap è molto vicino. La zona è tranquilla. Lo staff molto collaborativo.

Le indicazioni GPS portano a un altro palazzo nei dintorni, dove abbiamo trovato alcune persone che millantavano che dovessimo usare la carta di credito per aprire una porta e fare il checkin. Per arrivare nel posto giusto bisogna impostare nel GPS The Rockwell. Le procedure d'ingresso sono piuttosto complicate, con procedura di registrazione facciale e di registrazione della targa dell'automobile, ma certamente si tratta di pratiche effettuate per ragioni di sicurezza, quindi va bene.

I like the fact that almost the entire apartment is at a standard of above average. They bed is very comfortable, as well as the pillows and the duvet is of good quality and the smell of the bed linen is lovely and fresh.

That most evening's it was quite noisy outside of the Xenia Apart building, especially near unit no 408 with a 24/7 express pick n pay and a Vasco de Gama Tavern right next to the Xenia building and the noise of cars with extremely loud engines. The cupboards in the kitchen could do with a makeover. The bathroom could of had holders for the toothbrush and toothpaste. The bathroom railings could've been longer or a second one installed.

Abbiamo chiesto alcune volte del supporto alla reception ma hanno dato seguito solo alcune volte. Non eravamo stati informati che la piscina non funzionava, e avevamo prenotato questo posto anche per la piscina al chiuso. Per due giorni di seguito non hanno messo la carta igienica nel bagno. E siamo dovuti andarla a chiedere. La porta dell'appartamento era molto o dura da spingere e tirare. La porta della doccia non si chiudeva bene. Una camera affaccia sul corridoio. Dunque per gli stessi soldi si possono trovare alloggi migliori

The cleanliness

The room service doesn’t include change of beddings and towels and the fridge was leaking

the location was brilliant, we were on the main road side of the hotel though and it was a bit noisy, but didn't bother us very clean and well kept which had everything we needed

pool was off limits which we weren't advised about, so the kids were a bit annoyed, staff were not friendly or welcoming

We loved everything about the place itself. From the prime location which is very accessible to amenities and the CBD. The apartment was also very beautiful and comfortable.

There a few a few things that were very distasteful and borderline very shady. The first thing was what when you pay for the booking you pay for the cleaning fee for all the days of stay however we were later told they do not clean on Sundays (why were we made to pay for it?). Secondly the apartment has all the big things you need like your pots, microwave and so forth but does not have the small things e.g extra blankets or throws. When we asked for extra throws it took asking people from 2 different shifts to actually get some. And boy when we got them we got these torn brown blankets that were honestly not appetizing to use ( I have attached a picture).Thirdly when we were leaving we were told that they would be taking R500 from the deposit money because of dirty towels. I don't understand how we are meant to shower and not get the towels dirty. This is also comes after they did not clean on the Sunday that they do not clean so of course towels that are used over 2 days are dirty. Which also begs the question of if they cleaned they would have changed our towels naturally so why are we getting charged for it now, it just seems like the deposit thing is a scam to me, we were never going to get that full deposit money back. Lastly and we believe the most important, the receptionist lady with the short hair is just plain unpleasant. We watched her scold another guest because the guest used the wrong lift. THEY ARE A GUEST, HOW WERE THEY SUPPOSED TO KNOW THAT ITS THE WRONG LIFT! Kindly letting him know which correct lift to use would have sufficed. Other that all this the actual place was beautiful.

From 7am loud music playing which woke me up. Felt like an ibiza pool party. When I phoned reception. they explained it was due to an exercise class next door. Would not have booked this if I knew this. Left the apartment early to get away from it that morning. I asked could I move room. Sadly never heard from them until 5pm. they did offer a room change. Sadly I missed this message as it was late on and I heard nothing I gave up and didnt think to check my message at that time until the following morning. But on my 2nd morning i had a flight to catch and needed to be up early so the loud music the next day helped me by being my alarm clock and made sure I woke up.
