Die Lage war toll, da das Hostel in einer sicheren Straße mit vielen Pubs liegt. Man kann alle vom Hostel angebotenen Aktivitäten mitmachen oder sein eigenes Ding machen. Niemand ist aufdringlich. Die Leute sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Ich bin gerne wiedergekommen.

Super sauberes Hostel mit tollen Betten, die einem mehr Privatsphäre als üblich geben. Gratis Kaffee und Saft in der Früh war ein tolles Extra. :)

Eher unpersönliches Gefühl. Nicht wirklich shared community spaces, sondern man fühlt sich etwas unerwünscht, wenn man in dem einen zugewiesenen Platz zwischen Rezeption und Restaurant selbst Mitgebrachtes zu sich nimmt.

Very easy in check in. The staff were very understanding of everything we asked and were very accommodating. The location is central so it’s perfect for after a night out!

Not my first time to stay here, and certainly won't be the last. I like the vibe and the overall quality.

So I upgraded my room after I arrived as my partner also wanted to sleep over. Instead of just charging me the difference between what I paid and the cost for the actual private room, I was charged the full amount. I obliged and paid it because we did not want to drive. The 2 gentleman that helped me with my upgrade were also very judgemental toward my partner when I made that upgrade... It felt as if they treated her like a prostitute. And she is far from that. Other than that we enjoyed our stay for the one night and I will be back again soon.

Everything, staff is the face of the property, The welcoming guys Rustine,Blessing,so humble kind, Ayanda yoga guy, but he is volunteering, fifi, volunteering, and Mbeki the cleaning staff, they were so kind to me , they make me to extend my staying , I go to Cape Town every year, but confotability and I felt at home, nice and clean, wooow really did enjoy next to everything 🙏🙏thank u guys may the lord protect u and bless u more

Everything about the place is perfect

The guy I shared a room with had some bad comments about My nationality ,by the way I'm Zulu and he was from JHB but I guess he is a TSWANA speaking person.so I was little bit uncomfortable the way he spoke to me..I know that has got nothing to do with hotel but that one didn't sit well with me.

Location was 3.2km from my race starting point

Far from race start the check-in at 14:00 was not good for after travelling by bus I wanted to rest early

La ubicación

Imposible dormir. Hay dos bares con la musica altísima toda la noche. Además laa habitaciones no están mada insonorizadas. Estuvimos 4 noches y ha sido un horror

Locatie is top, veel mogelijkheden in de buurt. Ook fijn dat ze excursies organiseren. Hoewel ik door slecht weer (heel veel regen) niet heb kunnen meedoen. Kamers waren ook mooi schoon.

Ik had inclusief ontbijt geboekt. Bij aankomst bleek ontbijt bij een externe locatie waar je naartoe moet lopen. Bij mooi weer is dit uiteraard geen probleem maar bij slecht weer en hele dag stortbuien is dit klote! Vooral omdat de café / restaurant aangrenzend nog beter ontbijt biedt dan waar zij mee samenwerken. Ook had ik een privé kamer en vond de indeling van de kamer heel irritant. Ondanks dat ik een extra lange kabel heb op mijn Dyson was de afstand tussen Stopcontact en spiegel te ver. De spiegel was vrij onhandig bevestigd waardoor ik niet in de spiegel kon kijken terwijl ik mijn haar aan het stylen was. Toen ik dit aangaf en vroeg om een verlengsnoer keken ze mij aan alsof ze water zagen branden. Ik vond ze niet bepaald behulpzaam, vriendelijk of pragmatisch. Voelde mij niet serieus genomen. Ze boden ook niet aan om van kamer te wisselen of een verlengsnoer te lenen. Er werd ‘quote letterlijk’ gezegd: koop er zelf een en help jezelf. 😬 voor zo’n hoog bedrag mag je vriendelijke service en een mate van serieuze houding verwachten. Ik heb een andere kamer gezien die er anders uitzag qua indeling. Dus de kamer waar ik in zat (tweede verdieping recht tegenover de trap) was gewoon niet logisch over nagedacht. De safe stond bovenop een kast dichtbij het hoge plafond. Het was onmogelijk om erbij te komen tenzij je een reus bent of elke keer de stoel moet slepen en op je tenen gaat staan. Het stond er letterlijk omdat ze het lijstje wilden afvinken dat ze er één hebben. En niet omdat het functioneel zou moeten zijn. Sommige personeelsleden waren bare minimum vriendelijk. Meer uit noodzakelijke protocol dan oprechtheid.

This is the best hostel money can book in Cape Town. If you just need to crash and privacy is not a top priority then you are better off coming here

Everything was above and beyond our expectations. Our private room had a nice view, the staff were absolutely AMAZING, friendly and helpful in every way.

The location on Kloof is great, the staff r always wonderful, and work hard keeping the hostel spotlessly clean. The beds r comfortable and shower facilities very good. The hostel is great value for money.

It was clean, well kept, comfortable. Room had night light, lockers, personal charging station. Kitchen was kept clean as well. Very social and many nice group activities to join. Chill vibes, not a party hostel. On a café and bar street. Would stay again if in cape town

It can be a little loud from the street at night if you are sound sensitive. It didn't worry me and didn't hear anyone else struggling with it. Beds could be softer

On the positive side, the 4-bed female dorm was good, and the bathroom was clean. The view from the shower was also a nice highlight.

Overall, this hostel felt overpriced for what it offers. There were cockroaches in the kitchen, and people were smoking at the dining tables, which made the common areas quite uncomfortable. The staff were not very proactive – you had to ask for everything, and even then the information was often incomplete. The metal beds were very noisy, which made it difficult to sleep. In the evenings, it could get quite loud, and there was a noticeable smell of marijuana coming from the bar in front of the hostel.

Ich bin einfach nicht für ein Gruppenzimmer gemacht, aber wenn man damit kein Problem hat super Ort! Sonst kann man sich auch ein Einzelzimmer nehmen.

There is a bar downstairs that plays very loud music so if you stay in the rooms facing Kloof street good luck to sleep. My advice is do not stay on top of that bar.

The location on Kloof St., is great, the kitchen facilities r excellent and the dining area good. Staff r always friendly, easy going and working hard maintaining the premises. My room was comfortable and shower facility good. Never at Home on Kloof is great value for money.

I had problems in the dining area with smokers. There r no rules and smokers think it’s ok to light up next to someone eating!

Everything about the place is perfect,there is nothing that i can single out and say this one is better than the other because everything is excellent

Wow! I was very impressed with my experience at Never@Home and can't wait to stay at one of their spaces again. I have never stayed in a hostel before and was a female on my own. The experience was beyond what I expected. Never@Home provides you with all you need to meet new people and to 100% immerse you in the culture and activities of your location. I made 4 new friends from around the world and grew as a solo traveller. I would definitely recommend staying at Never@Home.

Na segunda parte doa dias que me hospedei estava um calor danado! Os quartos não tinham ar-condicionado. Era quase impossível dormir e ficar no quarto, tudo que encostava estava quente… tive que molhar a toalha e jogar por cima de mim para diminuir a temperatura do meu corpo.

Located right on top of a barand I didn't know, I booked on a weekend night so it wasn't the best of experiences. 2beds put together with separate bedding 🙄😒. Got a backpacker kinda feel to it. It's great if you're after weekend fun on kloof st I suppose

I liked the activities schedule and the drive of the team to put people together. I also liked the voice of the yoga instructor delivering the sessions in front of the window of my room. :P . I was drinking wine from the bottle, he was stretching everybody's limbs. Ha ha!

The location is excellent for the city and its surprising quiet considering its near a good bar. The views of Table Mountain are great. The breakfast I’d paid for (which is just a short walk up and across the road) at Arnold’s Cafe is excellent.p

The hostel and especially the dorm wasn’t to my liking, I’m used to Portugese hostel that are bright White, ultra modern, pristinely clean and excellent amazing facilities. The 4-bed female dorm was very small, dark, old metal bunk beds and felt a bit cell-like, very hot and stuffy even with the ceiling fan on full, night and day and the windows open. So I had no choice but to upgrade to a private room, which was far better, has a safe, decent size bathroom, amazingly comfy large bed however still hot and stuffy. They are in the process of doing upgrades and I believe this is well-needed as it’s very dark, dismal and tired looking. It’s more industrial warehouse decor. Having said that the staff were kind and friendly and especially Niqe she was extremely helpful. Great place for younger solo travellers to socialise. I carried on to ‘The Big’ at Greenpoint which in my opinion is more open, airy, clean looking, homely, which nice communal areas. And better value for money. It attracts a wider age range from young, old, families, groups and solos. The Big - Lovely hostel, lots of nice communal areas and relaxing areas. The 3 female dorm (more like a girls sleepover (no bunks), It was lovely, light, airy, lots of airflow, large lockers, clean and didn’t feel like a hostel - very homely with nice little decor.

Emplacement (situation idéale pour être dans le centre ville sans les inconvénients du centre tel que le bruit de la nightlife), quartier calme et safe, le cadre/équipement (les espaces communs sont bien pensés et aménagés (la terrasse à l’étage particulièrement paisible), Hostel organisé de sorte à privilégier les rencontres entre les guests (activités gratuites et payantes proposées, groupe whatsapp pour la communication des annonces etc, …), arrêt de bus à proximité, restos et supermarché à proximité, grande cuisine équipée, local de travail/réunion pour pouvoir travailler, amabilité, serviabilité et disponibilité du personnel d’accueil (dommage je n’ai pas retenu les noms pour remercier personnellement), intervention rapide du personnel une fois problème de réseau signalé, nettoyage quotidien des chambres, possibilité de dépôt de bagages avant checkin et après Check out dans un local, accueil h24, …

Internet ne fonctionnait pas dans chambre durant tt mon séjour (des mesures ont été prises rapidement après signalement), gros rats dans la terrasse/le jardin du rez de chaussée, pas de changement de drap quotidien, vol d’argent dans la chambre durant le séjour + ma valise a été ouverte dans le dépôt.

Fantastic location for foodies and people looking for buzzing nightlife. The staff are fantastic and it’s easy to feel at home here. The kitchen is great, with everything one needs to whip up something delicious. There are also tours and activities every day, so there’s no time for boredom. I loved the indoor workspace.

Заселялись от безысходности, оказалось какое-то тусовочное место. Перед входом и, наверняка, в половине номеров приходится танцевать вместо сна. Сам номер маленький, вода в кране еле текла. Очень долго оформляли проживание, заставляя подписывать всякие формальные бумажки.

Cuando llegué mi habitación estaba sucia, pedí que la limpien me respondieron que no limpiaban las habitaciones todos los días, solo lunes miércoles y viernes y después cuando lo limpiaron solo sacaron la basura, lo demás seguía sucio… y después de 3 días tuve que pedirlo de nuevo, la verdad que muy decepcionada

EI liked that it was easy and convenient to book and the staff was friendly and helpful.

The noise level was a bit much. But it was to be expected for the time of the year (new year's eve); the sheer volume of people in the area - but they provided earplugs 😊

Habitación funcional. En el checkout nos dejamos la documentación en la habitación y avisándoles por WhatsApp enseguida fueron a buscarla para guardarla en recepción.

La alcachofa de la ducha no se aguantaba en la pared. No hay ascensor.
