Room was very nice and breakfast was very good
Very friendly, beautiful decorations, within walking distance to main streets.
Larry and Esther were friendly and helpful. The property is beautiful. And the breakfast was great.
Casa Morales is such a beautiful quaint hotel. The decor is just amazing. Beds are super comfy & entire place is clean. Location is in the heart of Tlaquepaque. Staff makes you feel right at home. We will be back soon!
Just an amazing place. It felt like I was at home.
This is the place to stay in Tlaquepaque. Larry and Ester are excellent hosts and their home has large beautiful guest rooms. Each morning we had a delicious breakfast and it was easy to get to downtown Guadalajara or stay in town for dining and shopping from this location. We loved all the artwork displayed in the home. Our hosts even helped with dinner reservations and reserved a taxi for our return trip to the airport. Thank you for a wonderful stay!
Beautiful place to relax, enjoy good food & shopping just around the corner. Would definitely come back if I’m in Guadalajara again
This home is absolutely amazing! Larry was a very gracious host. Breakfast was phenomenal, and the staff were friendly on every interaction we had. The bedroom was spacious, ( we stayed in the Violeta bedroom) with luxe bed linens. Really enjoyed the gorgeous art all around the home. It was an easy walk to the must see places in town, and all the great restaurants and shopping. It was the perfect weekend getaway. We will definitely be back on our next trip!
Awesome boutique hotel. I can say it is the most well decorated hotel I have been. If Mexican art, folk art, creativity is your vibe, this is a place to stay. Additionally, the hospitality of the owners is superior. We will definitely come back!
This is my 2nd time here. Lovely couple, beautiful property, perfect location. A great stopover option!
I love this hotel! Home away from home. Amazing property owners and support staff. Fan for life.
The property is absolutely stunning. Cannot wait to come back.
What a wonderful place! I absolutely loved it all from the decor to the breakfast included and the owner Larry was very helpful in providing directions and giving recommendations for the town. Highly recommended!
We spent two nights at Casa Morales Hotel Boutique in Tlaquepaque Feb 14-16. We couldn’t have asked for more gracious hosts than Ester and Larry! We were warmly welcomed into their beautiful property adorned with some of the most precious Mexican works of art. The recommendations that Ester and Larry provided us for dining and sightseeing in the local area were extremely helpful. The breakfast was delicious and the staff was amazing. Ester kindly arranged for us to have an early breakfast prior to our early departure and arranged for a local cab driver to transport us to the airport in good time. We enthusiastically recommend Casa Morales and can’t wait to return.
Casa Morales is amazing! The hotel itself is beautiful, filled with wonderful furniture, sculptures and artwork. Our room was lovely, with comfortable beds and every amenity we needed. There’s a very relaxing courtyard, filled with beautiful plants and chirping birds. The owners and staff are all so kind and accommodating. We would highly recommend staying there.
WOW! Pictures do not justify the beauty of this place. The attention and information given to us was incredible out rated! Perfect location if you want to be near Tlaquepaque! Breakfast was delicious! Don’t think about it and BOOK this place! Can’t wait to go back!
A charming place in great location
Beautiful place to stay! Staff was very friendly!
Very charming building in a very charming area. The hosts were very attentive and the breakfast was amazing.
Beautiful surroundings. Comfortable beds and linens. Delicious breakfast. Lovely courtyard with great seating areas. Friendly hosts and staff. Very close to the centre of Tlaquepaque. Fantastic collection of artwork through the villa. Do not miss an opportunity to stay in this unique and amazing boutique hotel!
Absolutely stunning property with the most comfortable beds, awesome architecture, museum with art pieces and the warmth of home.
Very very beautiful. Excellent hosts.
There is absolutely nothing that needs to be changed in this welcoming idyllic property. It is truely a gem.
Beautiful place to stay and walking distance to restaurants and shops.
Stunningly beautiful hotel with top notch art collection to enjoy on premises. Owner Ester and her husband Larry are the perfect hosts. Both are bilingual. Staff are efficient. Pepe provided support and security, Myrna was a great cook for the breakfast that was included. Hotel was always kept clean. Bed was very comfortable. Located 1 block from Tlaquepaque's restaurant and night life. I will definitely stay at Casa Morales again!
Excellent!
The service from the owners and staff of Casa Morales was excellent. Breakfast was delicious and the accommodations beautiful.
The absolute best place to stay in Tlaquepaque. Owners generally on site and are wonderful hosts. Try the free breakfast ! You won’t be disappointed
One block from central pedestrian street with shops, restaurants, bars, nice crowds. Owners were very attentive and accomodating. Secure property and well decorated with lots of local indigenous art.
This is a lovely property. The included breakfast was outstanding. The owners' art collection made our stay even more memorable. Would definitely return!
Un hotel increíble! La arquitectura, el diseño y la decoración son de primera con una gran selección de artesanías mexicanas. Sin duda, regresaremos. Gracias!
It was delightful... the hotel is stunning. The art and decorating is art gallery / museum quality.
Place was absolutely beautiful and the owners and staff were the best! It’s literally around the corner from all the shopping and restaurants and we were walking around till late at night and felt safe with the rest of the crowd. I tried to upload more pictures but it says it exceeds size.

Loved loved this property, its location and the owners were just amazing. Best place in Tlaquepaque.
Lovely hosts and a gorgeous boutique hotel. Would highly recommend.
It was soooo beautiful relaxing and peaceful.
By far one of the most beautiful properties I have ever stayed at. Everywhere you look there is something beautiful. Art, furniture, lighting, and more. The owner is a gem and speaks excellent English. The location is perfect for easy walk to wonderful restaurants, art galleries, and more. I would go back again and again if I could.
The host was extremely helpful and nice. Awesome breakfast. I felt very safe here and it was so close to all the shops and restaurants. The Hacienda is like an art gallery. The pieces are extraordinary.
This was by far one of the best properties we have experienced in Mexico, more like visiting friends. The small hotel is just what you might imagine a traditional hacienda. Lovely Mexican art fills the common areas. Terrific breakfast and the hosts go out of there way to make your Guadalajara stay just what you want. Can’t wait to return.
Loved gthe art, the people and the food. Could use parking
Very accommodating, original concern was safety. However, there was security on property, very quaint, and calm environment. Host was very nice and hospitable, and they really like to know there guests to provide the best service. Plenty of things to do around like restaurants and shopping.
It was a beautiful property, the staff was very accommodating. We felt like we were staying with family. Definitely would stay again.
Me encanto el desayuno y la hospitalidad de los dueños.

Great people and great place to stay
Eveything about this property was excellent. Everything.
One of the most beautiful boutique hotel’s I’ve stayed in. It’s like spending a night at a museum with great hospitality and comfort. Owners will share their passion in detail of decor throughout the hotel, lots of local and Mexican traditional art in the building and rooms.
Very nice small hotel that could pass for a museum inside. Gorgeous art works of various kinds. The owner/manager couple are very personable and wonderfully attentive to guests
Absolutely fabulous. I cannot say enough good things about this boutique hotel. Highly recommend it.
We stayed at Casa Morales twice, first for two days and then for one more the week following. In both instances we reserved a queen room. Our first visit we were upgraded to a king on the second floor. This room was excellent. On our return trip we were downgraded to a double. Not only was this not what we reserved, we were charged the same amount for what was a worse room. This room was on the main floor right by the entrance--almost all windows looked out into common spaces and you heard the noise of every guest coming and going. The quality of the room and the fact that it was less than we reserved was disappointing. The hotel owner handled the situation a bit awkwardly. Otherwise, the hotel is beautiful, especially the lovely and peaceful garden. And the breakfast was exceptional. If you reserve a king on the second floor (make sure they honor your reservation) you will have a great stay. I would avoid the double room listed.
Wonderful hotel in a great location. one block from the main pedestrian street with all the neat shops. Breakfast was delicious.
Was looking for relaxation and walking distance from Tlaquepaque’s Centro, and this location did not disappoint. The online pictures do not describe the beauty of this property. The staff is beyond friendly, always felt safe and comfortable. No doubt we will stay here in the near future!
Beautiful hotel, amazing hospitality, delicious breakfast served in the morning. Our room faced the street so it was very loud and found it hard to sleep well throughout the night. Aside from the street noise, it was a 10/10 stay. Would highly recommend this hotel. The grounds are gorgeous and the hotel owners are so helpful and kind. We loved our stay here very much.
What's not to like about this place? It is an art museum, filled with original Mexican art, and also quite a number of modern paintings. All very beautiful, also the little garden, which felt like an oasis, after walking around the streets. The hosts are very friendly and helpful, and always willing to accommodate any requests. The location is also great, as it is in a quiet small street, within walking distance of the center of Tlaquepaque, and many of the nearby restaurants and art galleries. I can only recommended staying in Casa Morales if anyone finds themselves in Tlaquepaque.
Great location. Breakfast was wonderful. Esther and Larry (owners) were very attentive and hospitable. Beautiful hotel. We had an excellent time!
Stunning property filled with museum quality artwork.....impeccable detail.... warm and welcoming hosts/owners and if that's not enough, a complete delicious make to order breakfast. Perfect location one block off the plaza and Tlaquepaque's main church🌟
Location was great, The property owners are on location and attend to your ever need The breakfast was the best.
My stay was amazing!! I got there and was impressed with the Hacienda looking hotel so beautiful and clean. The place is so nicely decorated and welcoming. It has such a beautiful patio...nice decorations I loved this place I went on Sunday and before my trip was over decided to go back for a few more days and canceled my other reservation.
I fell completely in love with this hotel. The pictures don't do this place any justice. The owners were so friendly and made us feel right at home. Would ABSOLUTELY stay here again.
What a beautiful hacienda! The hostess, Esther and her husband are amazing. So welcoming. Everywhere you look is absolutely amazing. The art, Esther curates, is incredible. There is a story for every single piece and it was wonderful to get a tour and have Esther talk about a lot of the pieces. The breakfast is delicious. I really felt like I was visiting family in their big home. What a treat!
