We liked everything. The place was spacious, really clean, well maintained and walking distance to many restaurants and shops. It had a great little balcony off the back and the washing machine was very convenient.

Exceptional accommodation providing everything to a 5 * level and far superior to the listed 3 and 4 star full service hotels I've stayed at previously in Nelson. The pre and post stay contact with the owners by phone, e-mail and text message was most helpful and very much appreciated.

1) If there had been space available in the on-site car park I would have ranked it as 6* but there was free roadside parking outside after 5pm with the Nelson's multi-storey car park less than 5 minutes walk away providing 24 hour parking for only $8, a bargain compared to the daytime use of parking meters 2) Not being able to thank the owners in person!

Immaculate unit, well appointed kitchen, and washer and dryer. Also within walking distance to shops and places to eat.

Lack of parking was a slight inconvenience but certainly not a deal breaker. There were lots of work -arounds to easily deal with this.

The place was spotless! Everything is new and very well done. It has everything one needs to enjoy your stay in comfort.

Parking can be a little challenging (we had a large vehicle).

Great kitchen, comfortable bed, bathroom clean. Perfect for walking to the town for shopping and eating. Stirling close to hiking, lake walks and beach relaxing. We will come back again!

Very clean, tastefully appointed, quiet, and spacious room. Check-in and Check-out was smooth. Manager was responsive and very congenial. We would stay here again.

This is one of the best hotels we have stayed in. Right downtown so walking to shops and restaurants as good as it gets. But the real gem is the hotel itself, it is extremely clean, the rooms are well appointed, the beds excellent, full kitchen with everything you need plus a washer/dryer in the room. This hotel is privately owned and every inch of the property shows pride of ownership, the attention to detail to make sure your stay is perfect is well appreciated. If you are looking for a different hotel experience that will put a smile on your face then stay here!

I will likely stay at this spot every time I come to Nelson. It was nice to be right downtown, and walkable distance to many amenities. Having a larger truck I was worried I would have a hard time with parking but the street parking

There wasn't really an outdoor seating area, just a chair facing the parking lot and it was very noisy outside because of the pub next door. The bed was very hard and uncomfortable. Price was expensive for a pretty basic unit.

The property seems like it’s brand new. It is located in the main downtown area. The wifi and air conditioning was good. The room is big and includes everything you need. It was decorated very nicely and the contactless entry was seamless. You can tell that thought and care is put into the hotel and making sure everything you need is available, including many nice little touches like beach towels. The one and only complaint is the parking. 5 stars would have been given if one parking spot is allotted to each room instead of precedence given to the suites.

The suite had a well equipped kitchen and even a French press to go with the local freshly ground coffee. We will definitely be going back.

Comfortable suite with many thoughtful amenities that made our stay really enjoyable and relaxing. Location can’t be beat, walking distance to many great restaurants, coffee, grocery store, and even hot yoga if that’s your thing.

The parking was meant to be provided for the class of room booked - a suite - but on attending we were told only a ‘one bedroom suite’ had parking and the ‘suite’ didn’t - even though the bookings.com advised parking was advised

There are only positives for this hotel…clear check in instructions, and from the moment you walk into the space, you will notice the attention to detail throughout. If you have not stayed here, you must! You will be treated to a most enjoyable stay.

If you are in Nelson, stay at the Stirling All Suites Hotel! I recently stayed in the Deluxe King Suite and I loved every minute of it. The suites are beautifully decorated. You can tell the owners put their heart into every detail of the décor. I felt at home and peaceful as soon as I entered the suite. The location is also perfect. You can easily explore and enjoy Nelson's lovely downtown on foot. Finally, the hosts/owners are just terrific. Don't think that the contactless entry means you are not thought of and looked after. The hosts give fabulous details about the hotel, parking, things to do and they are super responsive to any questions/requests you may have. It is obvious they care about their clients' experiences. One of the best accommodation experiences of my various travels. Highly, highly recommend! Book today!

The room was centrally located, spacious, clean, and bright. It was great having a kitchen and laundry right in the suite. The thing that made this hotel stand out were the thoughtful touches in the room: a cozy throw blanket, a deck of cards, a bag of high quality coffee grounds, a selection of tea, the ability to connect to streaming from the tv, and even a noise machine!

This is our second stay at Sterling Inn. We enjoyed it just as much as our first. The suits are well appointed, comfortable and include everything you need and more. Little extras like a drying rack you can use for delicates instead of the dryer and white noise machine in the bedroom. The beds are super comfortable, including the Murphy bed in the living room. Kitchen is well stoked, including ziplock bags, tinfoil and cellophane wrap. The location is perfect- short walk to the water front, a block from the Main Street with shops and restaurants. Limited parking is provided on site with a locked gate - easy to access and secure. Although there is no staff on site, the owners are very responsive and engaged. We will definitely stay here again on our next rip to Nelson. Thank you!

Not only was the room light and airy with attractive decor, but it also was incredibly quiet. We loved having a well outfitted kitchen to eat some meals in. This property was outstanding!

The only small issue was lack of space for parking in the lot and having to park on the street. On the other hand, parking spaces were easy find.

Beautiful renovations to a historic hotel building. The suite was beautifully decorated and equipped with everything you need. Full kitchen and gorgeous bathroom with an amazing shower. Balcony with chairs overlooking the lake. Perfect place to enjoy the Nelson area!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Our garden suite had everything we needed. It was within easy walking distance to all the great shopping and eating establishments in downtown area. You can tell that Marika & Elon take great pride in providing a high quality experience for their guests. Will definitely stay there again and will recommend it to our friends as well.

This was our second stay and it couldn’t have been better. The suite was huge and had a beautiful view of the water. It was spotless, bright, modern and the kitchen was thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed to cook a few meals. It’s easy to control the temperature and the A/C is very quiet. The bed was very comfortable and my teenager enjoyed the Murphy bed in the living room. Check in was easy and secure with a personalized door code, and Marika and Elon were always available to answer questions or provide tourist tips. Parking IS tight so don’t bring a monster truck but Nelson is so walkable we rarely took our car out once it was parked. Highly recommend and we can’t wait for our next stay!

Really pleased with our choice of Sirling suites. Well appointed, comfortable, convenient for town and really clean. Great kitchen area and laundry a bonus. We had mixed weather but loved having the balcony which made a nice spot for early coffee and late gin!

The room was fantastic and we enjoyed our stay! The local coffee in our room was very good. The kitchen was well equipped and we didn't miss a thing. The room was very clean and when we needed new towels/sheets, they were provided immediately. The location of the hotel was perfect for us. We would love to come back in the future.

We were on a ski road tour and spent a few days here. Lovely place to stay great location down town. Keyless, staff less but a modern vibe in an old style building

Walking distance to everything in Nelson. Well equipped kitchen and laundry. Bike and ski room storage (heated with boot/gear dryers) as a major plus. Sauna and cold plunge were the highlight!

We loved every minute of our stay here. Elon and Marika are the best hosts, and their property is so well cared for. Our suite was AMAZING- clean, well equipped, and perfectly set up for a magical stay. 10 stars, can't wait to go back!

Absolutely perfect. I cannot rate our Stirling apartment more highly. There was nothing lacking in the apartment...even down to the light switches being labelled. Best place we have stayed in for many years. Thank you Marika and Alon.

Friendly staff and clean well appointed rooms!

We loved our stay! The room set up with a pullout couch was perfect for three adults. Kitchen, in suite laundry, and safe parking made our stay worry free. The location is also great for access to shops, dining, museums, and a spa. It’s also close to a local rec center for gym and pool access.

We loved it all. It was super clean, comfortable, very well equipped with everything you need and decorated so well. The bed was so big and comfy and the location was perfect! We would absolutely be back in a heartbeat.

The only tiny point I would say is that this is more like an Airbnb than a hotel as there aren’t really staff on sight and no front desk. I think there could be a slight tweak in the naming as it isn’t really a hotel.

Great location, close to everything. The room was nice and cool , good quiet AC unit . Took us a while to figure out the remote , as you need to get very close to the unit to operate it. Unit is high up by the ceiling. We were there during a heat wave so very much appreciated. Nice and big bed , but very firm. Cute and modern bathroom and nicely appointed kitchen. Full size appliances , if we were to cook.

The pillows were very uncomfortable, too big and firm, I felt like I was sitting up! They should have one firm and one soft pillow. Parking was an issue, as there is construction next door and no available parking next to property. We found it across the street, fairly close, but it’s not free Monday to Saturday. The hotel manager offered us a spot after one night in the back of hotel ( which we had no access to prior as it wasn’t for studio rooms).

Room door rattles every time a building door is opened and it sounds like someone is coming into the room Bathroom door can be hard to open from the inside even when unlocked; squeaky hinges; doesn't latch easily Dryer stopped after a couple of minutes (we made do with a few short cycles and air drying) - our timing did not allow us to pursue with the staff Listing says parking is available. There is no parking available on site - only metered street parking. Microwave above the fridge would be very difficult for anyone on the shorter side - it was borderline for us Communications have a "pull" model i.e., "ask us". There is a sauna, but you have to ask about where it is and how to get to it. There are sauna instructions, but they are only available at the sauna. There is off-site parking, but you have to ask where it is (and when I asked about parking the off-site options were only mentioned but not specified and I was told to ask again so I couldn't be bothered). There is an online-only hotel guide, but it isn't complete, and not available in print. All this information exists - just provide it. Despite my grumbling, it was overall a great stay and we would return.

The room was clean, spacious and we loved the kitchenette. There were small touches that we really appreciated like salt, pepper, tea and coffee being provided. There was a Brita water jug in the fridge which saved us from buying bottled water. There was a small black towel marked Makeup, which for a person that is always worried about getting white facecloths covered in makeup, was such a thoughtful idea. Communication both before and during our stay was excellent. Marika provided very clear instructions of how to enter our suite as check in was contactless. She responded very quickly if we had any questions and her and Elon were very friendly when we met them. The location is ideal and close to restaurants and the lake. We would definitely return to this hotel.

Although the bathroom was clean and had full amenities, the toilet area was a bit tight.

Location is right in the heart of the old downtown which was nice, walk to everything.Room was very high end, exceptional sums it up. Restaurants in old town Nelson are amazing! lots of good local breweries as well.

Very nice suites. Everything you need. Clean and new. Rooms are quiet. Located in walking distance to restaurants and shopping. There is secured gated parking for cars , suv, and smaller trucks. If you have larger truck, there is parking out front on the road.

My wife and I spent a couple of nights at this beautifully appointed boutique hotel situated in the heart of Nelson. The accommodations were immaculate with everything you need for a super stay. Our hosts were extremely pleasant and most informative. The check in and out process flawless. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Nelson.

This is first time I stayed in a contactless hotel. It’s really convenient. The owner is a couple, they take care of the hotel like their baby. They really care about the details and almost have everything you need. I really like the design of the hotel. The suite that I lived in with amazing views. I really enjoyed my vacation there.

My family, 2 teenage daughters my husband and myself had a great time in Nelson for the first time. Property is centrally located, newly renovated and was perfect for us. Quietly funtioning AC was a life saver, as it was really hot the first 2 days. It was really quiet, not sure if it was due to the hotel not being full or good sound proofing. Probably the latter,as there are 2 restaurants with patios and live music next door, but you could not really hear them from inside the suite. I am very noise sensitive. 3 minute walk to Baker Street shopping, coffee shops and restaurants. The suite was stocked with everything we needed. It is hilly around the hotel there is no elevator, so ask for a room on the second floor if you don't like stairs. Check-in and check out is contacless, but everything was easy and quick.Marika was always available when necessayr and replied to any requests very quickly. We had a great time and will be back. Thank you!
