Reviewed Sep 8, 2026Breakfast was very basic but enough to hold us over to lunch. The food was fresh and plenty available. The coffee was a little weak to my liking but good flavor.
Thankfully we could find parking along the Main Street in front of the hotel and were not charged parking fees given the time we arrived and the long holiday weekend. If we were charged parking fees this would have been very disappointing as there were meters everywhere! There is also a "common space" area adjacent to the hotel and our room was very close to it and the noise level Saturday night was not acceptable....now we know why they put ear plugs in our room on the nightstands.

Our king size bed was good -- not the best we've ever had but absolutely did the trick. Our bathroom door needed some WD40 lol. Parking can be a challenge - had to move the car by 9am.

The property has no parking, it’s a bit of a pain as you must pay for parking on the street from 7am till 6pm. You can only stay for one hr on one side of the street, 2 hours on the opposite side of the street. This wasn’t explained to you until after processing your payment via text messages.

The rooms were too small for our family, and there were no desks, chairs, or refrigerator. Overall, the accommodation was very basic and had a noticeable musty smell. Parking was also a major challenge, especially on the weekend. The hotel does not have designated parking, so guests have to find parking themselves in the downtown area. At times, we had to park a block or two away from the hotel, which was inconvenient, especially with luggage and a family.

We just love our stay! ⭐️10/10 The staff are amazing!! They are accommodating, friendly, goes above and beyond their duty. I accidentally left some clothes in the room, Sam (receptionist) informed me and offered to ship the clothes to my home address (US). I am very grateful for her. ⭐️⭐️ 10/10

In case of a fire the fire escape window to the outside not sufficient. They have wire up to keep the pigeons out but no way for someone to get out of that area if needed. A suggestion maybe to have a ladder out there and a way to open up the wire to escape if case of emergency. Only had a rain shower head, not everyone wants to get there hair wet in a shower, adding a hand held shower head would have been great. Im sure the cleaning staff would love a hand held attachment as well for easier cleaning.

Sam from guest services was very responsive and set us up with a beautiful bouquet of flowers and bottle of champagne presented in a lovely stand. The room was exceptionally clean and modern with a big comfy bed an awesome shower with some of the best toiletries we've ever experienced. Complimentary loofahs were a really nice touch too. Overall one of the best hotel stays we've ever had. Highly recommend!
Parking can be an issue as there is no dedicated parking for the hotel so you have to find street parking. The staff were however very helpful to make sure we found parking nearby which was luckily free due to it being Canada Day. The continental breakfast offered is decent but tough for someone with sensitivities to sugar/gluten.
