Everything, anandari was the best villa i have stayed at in bali. I highly recommend staying here when in ubud. Absolutely awesome stay, the staff are extremely polite and the service is perfect. thankyou anadari for having us, we will be back 🙂

Absolutely perfect — easily one of the highlights of our stay in Bali! Anandari Villa is beautiful, exceptionally clean, thoughtfully designed, and incredibly peaceful. Everything feels well maintained and cared for. What truly makes the place special, though, is the staff. Everyone was incredibly friendly, welcoming, helpful, and reliable. They were always responsive and genuinely made us feel taken care of throughout our entire stay. The complimentary shuttle to and from Ubud is also a fantastic touch and makes exploring the area so much easier. We honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Beautiful villa, wonderful people, and outstanding hospitality. We would absolutely stay here again and recommend Anandari Villa without hesitation. 10/10! ❤️

L'esprit Cocon des villas, magnifique jardin et très belle chambre. La salle de bain extérieure donne beaucoup de charme au lieu. Le personnel est adorable, très souriant et aux petits soins.

Le petit déjeuner n'est pas qualitatif. Un lieu magique comme celui là mérite un petit déjeuner à la hauteur, au moins avec des produits frais (viennoiseries et pain rassis, jus de fruit industriel etc.). Également penser à prévenir les clients (ou rappeler si cela est écrit quelque part car honnêtement nous ne savions pas) que le dernier Pick up est à 22h. En plein diner d'anniversaire j'ai dû gérer les échanges avec l'hôtel qui m'informait qu'ils ne pourraient pas venir nous chercher car nous ne serions pas prêts à 22h. Cela est compréhensible mais il aurait été préférable de nous prévenir lorsque nous avons quitté l'hôtel pour aller diner. Les massages sont très moyens mais cela doit dépendre de la masseuse appelée.

Die Villa war sehr gut ausgestattet und das Frühstück besonders reichhaltig und abwechslungsreich. Die wunderschöne, naturnahe Außenanlage hat uns ebenfalls sehr gut gefallen. Dank des Mückennetzes konnten wir ruhig und erholsam schlafen. Das Personal war ausgesprochen freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Lage war angenehm ruhig, gleichzeitig waren die Reisterrassen in wenigen Gehminuten erreichbar. Dank des kostenlosen Shuttles war man zudem sehr gut mit Ubud verbunden.

Die offene Außenanlage und das Badezimmer im Freien bringen leider mit sich, dass man häufiger auf Insekten und andere kleine Tiere trifft. Auch im Innenbereich können durch die nicht vollständig dicht schließenden Türen gelegentlich Tiere hineingelangen.

Todo perfectísimo. Fueron nuestras 2 últimas noches del viaje por Indonesia y fue la mejor manera de terminar. Personal super agradable y atento. La villa es espectacular, su estructura es preciosa, similar a una cabaña de madera de techo alto, con su zona exterior, super tranquila y reservada. Piscina privada, con vistas a las palmeras y plataneros. La zona del baño nos gusto especialmente, poder ducharte en el exterior es un lujo, el lavamanos con espejo enorme y opcion a bañera tambien en el exterior. El desayuno super completo y buenisimo.

We spent the first 5 days of our honeymoon at Anandari Ubud Villa, and they were absolutely amazing. The villa made our honeymoon even more special, and several things contributed to such a wonderful experience: Beautiful and comfortable villa. The villa is very well maintained, and the bed is enormous and extremely comfortable. The shower, bathtub and toilet are located outdoors. While this might seem unusual or even a little concerning at first, it turned out to be a unique experience that we really enjoyed. Amazing jungle view. The view from the villa is incredible. Having breakfast or taking a swim in the pool while enjoying the jungle scenery was one of our favorite parts of the stay. It was also really fun watching the squirrels jumping from tree to tree! Extremely friendly and attentive staff. From the very first day, the staff made a great impression on us. Everyone was incredibly friendly and helpful, and whenever we needed something and contacted them via WhatsApp, they responded almost immediately. Lovely swimming pool with a jungle view. The pool is beautiful and offers an amazing view of the surrounding jungle. The water could perhaps be slightly warmer, but we still loved taking a dip and relaxing there. Very good breakfast. There was a great variety of breakfast options to choose from, and everything we tried was very good. We also had lunch and dinner at the villa, which were good as well, although we thought the breakfast was on another level. Great location. The villa is conveniently located close to several popular attractions, including the Tegallalang Rice Terraces, Alas Harum and the famous Tis Café. There are also several good warungs nearby, as well as a market where you can buy groceries and an ATM. The villa also provides a complimentary two-way transfer to Ubud town center, which was very convenient. Perfect atmosphere for a honeymoon. This was probably what we appreciated the most.

Almost everything was amazing, so there are very few things we can point out that could be improved: Some signs of wear and use. For example, we noticed some stains on the bed curtains. Nothing major, but this could be improved. A dead rat in the bathtub. This happened on our second day. While obviously unpleasant, we understand that the villa is surrounded by nature and these things can occasionally happen. The staff responded immediately, removed it and thoroughly sanitized the bathtub, so it did not affect our overall experience. Occasional ants in the bedroom. We occasionally found a few ants inside the bedroom, but considering how close the villa is to the jungle, this is understandable and difficult to completely avoid. It was never a significant issue for us.

The front desk receptionist was warm and gave us keys to our villa upon arrival, as well as an introduction to the property during our stay. The villa was gorgeous and exactly what you would expect Bali to be - blue pool, lots of green plants, colorful flowers and the villa was conveniently located to the rice terrace and walkable to restaurants including TiS dinner.

The outdoor bathroom was naturally beautiful but it was very uncomfortable to use. There were ants crawling on the toilet, inside the toilet and around the toilet the full 7-days we stayed there. Breakfast also wasn't that great.

Everything was perfect, we stayed over 5 nights. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the breakfast was very delicious, with various options, the location of the hotel is perfect, the room was very clean and very very private with a nice pool of your own. Está en las terrazas de Tegallalang, justo en frente y tanto las instalaciones como la villa están cuidadas. El personal es muy amable y hay un café en frente, Tis café, (bajando la cuesta) bonito para poder cenar.

Los alrededores son poco accesibles y no hay casi luz en la zona por lo que hay poco que hacer a partir de las 5 de la tarde y la piscina está muy fría pero recomendamos por completo el alojamiento.

Wir haben diese Unterkunft sooo geliebt. Das Personal war ausserordentlich freundlich und bemüht. Sehr zuverlässig. Dieses Hotel liegt direkt bei den Reisterassen und man fährt ca 20-30 Minuten nach Ubud Zentrum. Es wird ein toller Service angeboten welcher dich gratis in das Zentrum fährt und auch wieder abholt.

Es gibt nichts zu bemängeln außer, dass es Abends sehr dunkel im Zimmer wird und wir nicht ausreichend Licht hatten. Aber das ist nur eine Kleinigkeit.

設施老舊，房間門關不太緊閉且門把都已經脫落，最傻眼跟不被尊重的是第一天晚上洗澡突然沒熱水，跟飯店反應後居然直接開門解鎖闖進來說要處理查看，不就好在我們穿衣服穿得快，不然就全身裸體相見了！ 後來已經跟飯店反應下次請等我們去開門再進來，沒想到隔天要請飯店送水時，又發生一樣情形不等我們去開門，直接進入villa內。一天5000元的villa完全不值得！ 原先訂購住三晚，第二晚後直接退房，不想再把寶貴的出國時間浪費在這間飯店上！ The facilities are outdated. The bedroom door wouldn't close properly, and the door handle had already fallen off. The most shocking and disrespectful part was that, on the first night, the hot water suddenly stopped while we were showering. When we reported it to the hotel, they didn't wait for us to open the door—they unlocked it and barged straight in to "check it out." It’s a good thing we were able to get dressed quickly, otherwise, they would have seen us completely naked! We explicitly told the hotel afterward that, in the future, they must wait for us to open the door before entering. However, when we requested water the next day, the exact same thing happened—they didn't wait for us to open the door and just walked straight into the villa. A villa costing 5,000 TWD per night is absolutely not worth it! We originally booked a three-night stay, but we checked out after the second night. We didn't want to waste any more of our precious vacation time on this hotel.

El hotel es una preciosidad y el servicio nos dejó alucinados. Está algo retirado del centro, pero te permite tener mayor tranquilidad y relax. El personal es excepcional. Consumimos todos los servicios, masajes, lavandería, desayuno… todos y cada uno de ellos espectaculares en tiempo y forma, y muy económico.

Es ist wirklich eine tolle Unterkunft. Es wird sehr viel Wert auf Privatsphäre gelegt, die kleinen eigenen Häuschen mit Pool sind einfach total schön auch mit der Aussicht. Das Personal ist super zuvorkommend und lieb, das hatten wir sonst bisher nirgendwo, so wie hier.

Το προσωπικό ήταν πολύ ευγενικό. Η βίλα ήταν ακριβώς όπως στις φωτογραφίες. Το κατάλυμα παρέχει τα πάντα από υπηρεσίες. Το πρωινό παραδίδεται στο δωμάτιο και είναι επίσης πάρα πολύ καλό. Συνολικά η εμπειρία ήταν 10/10. Η τοποθεσία ήταν καλή και δεν είχα πρόβλημα να γυρίσουμε όλο το Μπαλί από εκεί.

We spent part of our honeymoon at Anandari, and of the 5 hotels we stayed at, Anandari was the most relaxing, unique accommodation experience. The staff were incredibly kind, accommodating, punctual and happy. The villas are a picturesque piece of the jungle, you will feel immersed in nature. The outdoor bathroom is an amazing experience in itself, and the private pool and loungers made us feel like we had our own little tranquil oasis for a few days. Having all our meals on the veranda, brought by the most wonderful staff was just bliss. The lunch and dinner was excellent value, and very enjoyable. The massages in the room were fantastic and very reasonable, we had to have them twice as we enjoyed them so much. I miss it already and look forward to coming back one day!

We had a beautiful stay at Anandari. The location is amazing, in the jungle but so close to Ubud centre via a complimentary driver to and from once a day. The private pool is magical. It really felt like a little oasis. We loved the wildlife including squirrels, lizards and fireflies. The staff were amazing, anything we needed they were available and genuinely cared about our stay. The Tis cafe across the road is great. Just beware that it’s a pretty steep road to walk up and down to get to the street from the villa but down there you’ll find marts really close and some local shopping. We will definitely be back and I would recommend to others.

I loved how accommodating and pleasant the staff was. They were so sweet. There was a 24-hour receptionist, and they had a WhatsApp number for any requests, day or night. They went above and beyond to make sure my stay was as memorable as possible. They facilitated every single request without hesitation. I also loved the location in proximity to the Rice terraces, but also off the main road, so you had a sense of peace and tranquility.

They didn't have a dryer service, which was a little bit odd and necessary for anyone using the pool on the last day of their stay, but otherwise, that's just me, Nick. Picking overall, they were fantastic.

The view

Even animal lovers will regret this – unsafe, dirty, and completely misleading We came here for our honeymoon expecting a peaceful and clean stay surrounded by nature. We love animals and don’t mind seeing wildlife outdoors — that’s part of the experience. But what we experienced here is not “nature,” it’s pure neglect. From the moment we checked in, there was a wasp inside the room. Then we found ants and spiders not just around the room, but on the bed and on the towels. The towels themselves were dirty, with visible yellow stains, and clearly not properly cleaned. When we complained, the manager told us this is “normal” because the towels are old — which is completely unacceptable. It didn’t stop there. The doors don’t close properly and have large gaps, allowing insects and even animals to enter freely. We even found a frog inside the shower. This is not something anyone should experience, especially not on their honeymoon. This is not about disliking animals — it’s about basic hygiene and safety. No one should have to sleep in a bed with insects crawling on it or use dirty towels with ants on them. What made everything worse was how the situation was handled. The manager openly said it’s “normal” to have ants on towels and spiders on the bed, and admitted that they cannot mention these issues in the listing description. On top of that, he refused to give us any refund, despite the conditions being completely unacceptable and not as described. We were left with no choice but to leave early, disappointed and honestly heartbroken, as this was supposed to be part of our honeymoon. We checked other places in Ubud, and this is NOT normal. Other accommodations manage to be close to nature while still being clean, safe, and honest. If you love animals, you’ll appreciate them outside — not in your bed, your towels, and your shower. Avoid this place at all costs. It is not clean, not safe, misleading, and completely ruined a very special trip for us.

The property was amazing, the location was perfect. There are great restaurants in walking distance. The rice fields and supermarkets are also in walking distance. The staff go above and beyond to ensure your stay is perfect. Highly recommend this villa.

Le concept de la chambre est fantastique. Le bungalow en bois entouré de végétation que personne ne puisse nous voir. La piscine à débordement donnant sur une jungle et la salle de bain en plein air.... très joliment décorée @ les petits déjeuners sont très bons et la literie est également très bonne, sans oublier le personnel qui est d’une gentillesse et d’une serviabilité sans borne

Malgré que nous trouvons dans un endroit hydilique tropical, le bruits incessant des motos, voitures, musique et chiens qui aboient continuellement est quelque peut dérangeant dans ce cadre mais cela vaut le coup de réserver...

Amazing experience under the supervision of the friendliest staff!

The only thing I could think of is the 50L water heater, which essentially makes it impossible to use the bath tub, but having a private swimming pool completely compensates for this minor downside.

Sehr schöne Villen mit absoluter Privatsphäre. Pool war im Mai noch etwas kalt, da würde ich mir das floating breakfast gut überlegen. Pool hat eine angenehme Größe und Tiefe, so dass man auch mal ein Paar Bahnen schwimmen kann. Der Außenbereich ist schön bepflanzt und schön anzusehen. Das offene Bad ist anfangs etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig, die Dusche hat etwas wenig Druck, aber alles im allem ein top Ort zum relaxen. Das Personal ist total freundlich und hilfsbereit. Frühstück wurde immer in die Villa serviert. Wir haben auch einmal Abendessen bestellt, war sehr lecker und günstig. Die Lage ist okay, die Reisterrassen sind zu Fuß erreichbar mit sämtlichen Shops und Restaurants. Hat man das gesehen, muss man dann schon weiter weg mit Taxi oder Roller. Aber wer tagsüber viel entspannen will ist dies ein schöner Ort. Für Aktive eher ungeeignet, aber für 2 Nächte völlig ok. Wir können die Unterkunft absolut weiterempfehlen.

In der Anlage ist es sehr ruhig, aber nachts kann es schon lauter werden. Es lief abends lange Musik von weiter weg und es bellen oft Hunde, so dass wir 2 von 3 Nächten nachts 4 Uhr wach waren. Das Gebell kann schon nervig sein. Ansonsten haben wir nix auszusetzen.

Although off the main road a bit, the traffic noise was loud a lot of the time which was such a shame as it didn’t match the outlook and gardens . Beware of the very slippery wooden floor . We were in villa 2 which didn’t have any soft place to sit except on the bed

It was like Garden of Eden- secluded private villa with a pool surrounded by tropical nature. One can lay on a sun-bed and watch wild birds and animals on the trees. The villa is simple but authentic teak wood style makes it classy. I would love to go back.

Bali is famous for good coffee but the one that was served for breakfast wasn't. The quality and the choice of the food could be improved. Everything else was great.

Tutto Fantastico! Se si ama la pace e la tranquillità immersi nella natura questo è il paradiso! La posizione è super ed è possibile noleggiare uno scooter direttamente in struttura decidendo giornalmente se tenerlo oppure no. Il personale è davvero gentilissimo ed ogni richiesta è stata esaudita! speriamo di tornare presto...grazie mille
