La piscine un peu fraîche La vue sur les rizières qui n’étaient finalement que des étendues de boues (pas la saison?) Devoir descendre d’un étage pour aller à la salle de bain pas très pratique et assez sombre pour se préparer Le personnel au restaurant qui ne comprenait pas toujours bien nos demandes et le temps d’attente assez long même juste pour des desserts au bord de la piscine en pleine après midi

Pour le prix de +de 200€/nuit certains points sont vraiment à revoir : -La propreté n’était vraiment pas irréprochable (crottes de lézards ? Miroirs avec encore des traces de dentifrice, robinetterie non nettoyée, vitres très sales - la chambre est gigantesque mais le lit très petit (mon mari dépassait du lit alors qu’il fait 1,82m) si il ne voulait pas se cogner dans la tête de lit en bois) - c’est sensé être une sorte de villa individuelle mais au sous sol il semble y avoir des locaux utilisés par l’hôtel ce qui génère du bruit étant donné qu’il n’y a pas d’isolation particulière puisque tout est en bois (éternuements/ bruit de machine etc) - le personnel passe le balais etc très tôt près des chambre et cela nous a réveillé chaque matin - la vue sur la jungle magnifique mais du coup le bruit de la jungle est très fort et ce n’était pas très reposant

Everithing was just perfect

This hotel is just magical. Located on the outskirts of Ubud it had a quiet location inside the jungle and rice fields, while also being only 5 min away from the village center. The staff is super friendly and helpful and the rooms were very comfortable. We particularly liked lying in the hammock, looking into the jungle. The food was great, though not a huge selection. Everything we tried was tasty and beautifully presented. This is a definite place to come to if you’re looking for luxury, quiet, nature, but also close to Ubud.

Het buiten douchen was een verrassing, maar uiteindelijk ook wel een leuke ervaring.

Meravigliosa struttura immersa nella vegetazione. Camere rifinite con cura artigianale tipica Balinese, complete di tutti i confort. Personale molto presente e professionale. Fantastica la colazione servita alla carta con una grande varietà ed abbondanza. Noi abbiamo girato tutta la zona comodamente noleggiando delle biciclette elettriche che ci hanno presso di raggiungere in poco tempo templi e risaie meravigliose. L'albergo offre anche un servizio di navetta gratuita per il centro di Ubud. Consiglio a tutti sia coppie che famiglie con bambini.

The lights of next doors villa kept me awake on the last night

We stayed at Blue Karma for two nights and had a wonderful overall experience. The hotel is beautiful, with a very peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. We were very happy with the restaurant, spa, and yoga sessions. The staff were all incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Special thanks to Dian, Asih, and Komang for their kindness and great service.

Our only negative experience was that we did not have hot water in our room during our entire two-night stay. The water was only lukewarm, which made it difficult to take a shower, especially in the cooler evenings. We also noticed some stains on the toilet, which unfortunately did not give us a strong sense of cleanliness.

Amazing location!

I have booked vila with private swimming pool and view to rice terrace - which actually was a scam, since instead of rice terrace there was garbage dump closed with hanging blinds. Second thing was breakfast - all plates and mugs where not properly washed. So instead of spending one week, the very next day I have moved to different location

Struttura molto carina tra le risaie. Camera spaziosa e letto comodissimo!!! Il personale è super disponile e gentile,ci hanno aiutati per qualsiasi esigenza/ richiesta. Unica pecca forse un po’ la posizione,ma in fin dei conti lo sapevamo e con il motorino va bene lo stesso

Property was excellent. Cottages were pretty great, clean and comfortable. Location offers a perfect balance of quiet and just a 10-15 mins ride to the main market, Ubud palace. Staff is extremely helpful and courteous. Restaurant offers sufficient enough options to have all your meals there itself if one wants to just relax by the pool all day.

Un hôtel merveilleux un peu en dehors d’Ubud, accessible en navette gratuite avec l’hôtel. Accueil exceptionnel, hôtel très calme entre rizières et jungle dans des bungalows individuels luxueux autour d’une belle piscine à débordements. Un restaurant sur place, très pratique pour les petits-déjeuners très complets et délicieux. Je recommande +++

I had an amazing stay at Blue Karma Ubud. The room was beautiful and truly felt like sleeping in the middle of the jungle—you wake up and fall asleep to the sounds of nature, which made the experience so peaceful. The breakfast was one of the highlights of my stay. The set menu offers a great variety of delicious options, and the coffee was excellent. I’ll genuinely miss it! What really made the stay special was the warm hospitality. Everyone was incredibly kind and welcoming, especially Dian, Ari, Agus, and the rest of the team—they all made me feel at home. The hotel is peaceful, with a lovely rice terrace next to it, and it’s just a short walk from Pyramids of Chi, making it perfect if you’re planning to attend classes there. I also loved that the hotel offers wellness activities—I joined a yoga class with Dian, and it was fantastic. I would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat in Ubud.

The only thing to keep in mind is that you’re surrounded by nature. At night and early in the morning, you’ll hear geckos and other jungle sounds, and occasionally footsteps on the roof from animals. If you’re a light sleeper, this might wake you up—but it’s all part of the authentic jungle experience, and I actually came to enjoy it. Also more lighting in the room would have been better the light in the room is a bit dim in the night

My wife and I recently stayed at Blue Karma Ubud for our honeymoon, and it was an unforgettable experience. Our room was incredibly spacious, beautifully designed, and thoughtfully curated with great attention to detail. The staff were exceptionally friendly and went above and beyond to make our romantic stay even more special and comfortable. The hotel itself is stunning, with a beautiful garden, a lovely pool, and impressive architecture that perfectly complements the peaceful surroundings. The breakfast was excellent, and the restaurant deserves special mention—the chef creates truly outstanding dishes. Every aspect of our stay exceeded our expectations. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing and romantic getaway in Ubud.

L'atmosfera che si respira è esattamente ciò che si desidera.. la quiete, la bellezza, l'accoglienza. Tutto è curato nei dettagli ed i ragazzi della struttura sono tutti Super!! La colazione è superlativa.. super abbondante... L'insalata di frutta, il cestino del pane con cornetto e marmellata, il menù a la carte.. un sogno che diventa realtà. Se mai ritornerò non potrò che tornare in questo Paradiso.

Niente. Leggermente distante dal centro di Ubud, ma per chi fa escursioni di giorno e rientra nel pomeriggio per rilassarsi è un ottima scelta. Shuttle gratuito da e per il centro... Oppure si rientra in taxi a pochi euro.

I loved our room especially the hammock overlooking the greenery. The breakfast was impeccable. We also loved dinner.

The mattress can be improved

We had a wonderful stay at this charming hotel in Ubud. Surrounded by lush greenery and nature, the property offers a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere that perfectly captures the beauty of Ubud. The pool was a highlight of our stay—quiet, inviting, and surrounded by tropical scenery, making it the perfect place to relax after a day of exploring.

Some areas of the rooms could benefit from updates and maintenance. A few modern upgrades would greatly enhance the aesthetic while preserving the property’s rustic charm.

Das Frühstück war hervorragend, das Personal sehr freundlich,höflich und hilfsbereit. Auch das Essen im Restaurant war ausgezeichnet gut. Ein perfekter Ort um zur Ruhe zu kommen und sich verwöhnen zu lassen.

Everything about this hotel was excellent. It was like a small sanctuary in the jungle. Highly recommended. The staff was very well-trained, people were extremely polite, the services were excellent, very quick and high level. Yoga instructor amazing and Tari from the SPA was a dream!! One day in the middle of the night we heard a noise coming from the roof of our room. The night guard was there within a couple of minutes and dealt with it. They were extremely professional. In this hotel you could have whatever you needed!

The restaurant could use some improvement in terms of taste.

Établissement à 10 min en Schuttle proposé par l’hôtel pour une distance de 4km. Possibilité d’aller à pieds à ubud hors trafic par risieres. Particulièrement apprécié l’option petit dej inclus car une découverte culinaire du restau botanique d’exception. Le calme environnant, sans chantier. À savoir que les constructions poussent ici comme des champignons, partout à Bali. Service 2x par jours dans les chambres, où ils préparent même les lits avant votre retour le soir. Petit restau indo et japonais à 5 min à pieds, repas soir pour deux pour 6 euros.

Booked this for first 3 nights of our honeymoon so this was a splurge, esp considering there are cheaper places in Ubud. The room was beautiful as was the downstairs bathroom. loved the centre bed. We had breakfast included and that was fresh & tasty. We were able to rent scooters from the property to explore the surrounding area, & a taxi pickup. I had a parcel delivered for a camera lens and they were super chill with that.

There were renovations in the property nxt door so some construction work, though that is probably over by now.

The staff were amazing from beginning to end, nothing was too big or small and the hospitality was consistently so good. The rooms, pool, food all exceptional. Green, peaceful and UBud is easily accessible via grab app or hotel shuttles.

I liked that the rooms have their own character, aesthetics and are also comfortable to live in. I am delighted with the work with the interior and exterior details and how stylish it looks, and at the same time comfortable. I also noted that the territory of the hotel, where all the houses are located, looks beautiful, green and creates privacy for each room. That is, you can walk around the territory and not disturb other guests in their rooms. Great solution, beautiful garden

the set up and design of the property. was not big and just right for couple. night swim with fireflies flying around was magical. love the design and how they support eco initiatives.

the AC position is right on top of our head with no cover. gave us headache. we tried many position, but it just didnt help.

Ich kann nur für unser Haus mit dem Namen „Bumi“ sprechen, welches das grösste ist und über eine eigene Hängematte mit Dschungelblick verfügt. Ich reise wirklich viel, aber dieses Haus ist das beste, was ich je hatte. Das wirklich gute Hotel drum herum runded das Erlebnis ab. Auch die Lage ist super. Nur 3km mit eigenem Shuttelservice nach Ubud oder nach ein paar Minutem mit dem Roller in die Reisfelder.

Der Poolausblick ist ok, aber im Verhältnis zum restlichen Erlebnis unterdurchschnittlich.

Staff was extremely kind and helpful to us: accommodating a request to change rooms and to add an additional room, recommending restaurants, welcoming us warmly each time we returned to the hotel. Food at hotel was very good. We enjoyed the dance performance. Atmosphere was comfortable and calm; guests were of all ages, but everyone was happy and seemed to be at Blue Karma to relax rather than to party. Vishnu looked after us very well.

You can't walk to town from this place. We were thankful for our hired car and driver. But we enjoyed the peace and quiet of Blue Karma. Really nothing to dislike. A lovely spot.

Construction work with grinder all day killed the vibe

The rooms/huts were just beautiful. It was peaceful, with beautiful views, and was constantly cleaned. The private pool in one of our rooms was very pleasant, but we used the main pool a lot! The staff had the sweetest smiles on their faces, and the spa treated us so well.

The overall environment was really good, very kind staff, delicious restaurant.

The construction sounds next door

Just a beautiful property; so peaceful and serene. Staff is amazing. Yummy breakfast and easy to walk to some of the rice fields. Far enough from the busy Ubud streets but close enough to get there in minutes. Would highly recommend. The cabins/vlas are beautiful and spacious. Feels very luxurious with how the staff treats you. Top notch service.

Our villa didn’t have a view of the nature in the edge of the property. Still a beautiful view and quiet.

The staffs are so helpful and welcoming, and the view is amazing everywhere, I spent time doing nothing but reading in the room, the best healing vacation ever. And the shower is very relaxing with stable hot water.

What a marvelous place: we loved it from the first minute. The hotel is take-fifty-photos-on the way to your-room beautiful, extremely comfortable but also quite small and intimate rather than a huge anonymous resort. The food is superb, and the staff and service are helpful and friendly. One of the best hotels we have ever stayed in: we wouldn’t hesitate an instant to book it again.

We had no problems at all. A blissful week.
