View from the terrace was more or less nice obstructed by old buildings, staff is also very nice & helpful, complimentary tea

The photos are misleading and do not accurately represent the actual condition of the hotel. The bar on the terrace was dirty, the glass was broken, and the bar was not operating at all. The breakfast selection was very limited and disappointing. Also, unless you specifically choose a room with a Bosphorus view, the view is dark and faces another building, where people can easily see into your room.

Splendide, magnifique, incroyable... et pourtant aucun de ces mots ne rend vraiment justice à mon séjour ! La chambre, ou plutôt la suite que j'ai eu la chance de recevoir, était tout simplement inoubliable. La vue panoramique sur le Bosphore, proche des 360°, était spectaculaire. À certains moments, je ne savais plus si je devais visiter Istanbul ou simplement rester à admirer le paysage depuis mon lit ! La piscine a également été un véritable bonheur : rafraîchissante, relaxante, et indispensable après une longue journée à parcourir les merveilles d'Istanbul. Un vrai petit paradis pour recharger les batteries. Cerise sur le gâteau, c'est Booking qui m'a recommandé cet hôtel. Un immense merci pour cette découverte exceptionnelle. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Ontzettend vriendelijk personeel. Werden elke dag begroet met een praatje. Onze koffers werden alle trappen omhoog en omlaag getild met in- en uitchecken. Het ontbijt was niet mega uitgebreid maar genoeg lekkere dingen.

Met 9 dagen verblijf is het fijn dat er eens word schoongemaakt tussendoor. Bij aanvinken van het schoonmaken van de kamer werd het bed opnieuw opgemaakt (met dezelfde lakens). Wel schone handdoeken. Maar was fijn geweest als er ook even een dweil door de badkamer ging of door de kamer, maar dat vind ik.

It’s very tired and needs updating. Broken fixtures in the room, shower not working without help, broken furniture stacked up, lovely bar that has no one serving and no stock. A pool with some plastic old loungers. Quite noisy.

We were in Rm 205 and had paid for 2 rooms for 2nights - this hotel is not a 4*** - at best 3*** pls take note if you are booking - there was a hole in our ceiling / plug socket was hanging out/ bin was broken in the bathroom / lights not working in the bathroom / mould in shower / holder for shower head was broken - I highlighted these to the Manager but she said I should have said when I first went to my room and not later - but we went out straight away after checkin.The Manager offered me late check out till 3pm om our second room which I accepted and said all the broken fixtures would be fixed but after 1hr of us checking out of the room - the room had been given to someone else so doubt if anything was fixed very disappointing.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour au Loop Hotel Bosphorus à Istanbul et nous le recommandons vivement ! L’hôtel est très bien situé : les transports en commun sont accessibles à pied et permettent de rejoindre facilement une grande partie des principaux sites à visiter. Et si vous aimez marcher, c’est encore mieux : Taksim, la tour de Galata et plusieurs autres endroits sont accessibles à pied. Nous avons beaucoup marché pendant notre séjour, et c’était un vrai plaisir de découvrir Istanbul ainsi, entre promenades et visites. Il y a également beaucoup de choses à proximité de l’hôtel : restaurants, petits cafés, commerces pour faire quelques courses, de quoi manger ou boire un verre facilement. Et bien sûr, la proximité du Bosphore apporte un charme supplémentaire et permet de profiter pleinement de l’ambiance et de la vie du quartier. Le petit déjeuner est vraiment très correct et varié : fruits, œufs frais, légumes, plusieurs sortes de fromages, pain varié et chaque jour une petite douceur différente : pancakes, crêpes, gaufres ou gâteaux maison. Il y a également plusieurs sortes de jus, du thé, du café et de l’eau. De quoi bien commencer la journée ! Le service est excellent, avec une mention spéciale pour l’employé du soir que nous avons eu pendant notre séjour. Sa gentillesse, sa disponibilité et son aide nous ont vraiment facilité plusieurs choses. Un grand merci à lui! Nous reviendrons avec plaisir et recommandons cet hôtel sans hésitation ! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

L’hôtel est accessible par deux entrées, une par le bas et une par le haut, mais il y a pas mal d’escaliers pour accéder à l’établissement. Avec des valises, nous conseillons vraiment d’arriver par l’entrée du haut, afin de descendre les escaliers plutôt que de devoir les monter avec les bagages. Ce n’est pas toujours facile. Pour les personnes à mobilité réduite, l’accès peut donc être assez compliqué. À part cela, tout était top ! Un très bon emplacement, un personnel adorable, un petit déjeuner agréable et beaucoup de choses à découvrir à pied autour de l’hôtel.

Hotel located in middle of ascending stairs . It is difficult to go upstairs every time you are returning to the hotel or downstairs to get out . This is the only disadvantage I see TV was not working

Noi siamo stati benissimo in questo hotel 5 giorni. Se posso dare qualche consiglio…la colazione va decisamente migliorata! É molto basica per la qualità dell’hotel. Un altro vero peccato é che il bar della piscina sia chiuso. Su quella terrazza meravigliosa avremmo certamente fatto diversi aperitivi. I turisti vanno in cerca di rooftop dove fare aperitivo ed è un peccato non poter sfruttare l’hotel in cui sei per una cena o aperitivo

Very supportive staff, good location and generous breakfast, which is important when you travel with two teenagers. Comfortable bed, silent at night even though the location is quite central and in busy neighbourhood, many sightseeings are reachable by walk if you do not mind walking a bit. Be wary of steep staircase to reach hotel which is quite ok for healthy adults but can be a challenge for elderly people.

Staff were very good and helpful. Rooms were clean. The view from the room and hotel was exceptional.

Location- in order to get to hotel you have to cross a lot of stairs and for people with health problems it’s almost impossible. But staff always helps with luggage.

An amazing central location with a stunning view! The people working there were super nice, treating us like family rather than customers. The shower was great, utilities like a washing machine and dishwasher were great extras

basic expectations were simply lacking. The curtains couldn’t close all the way, there is no place for hanging your towel, WiFi is barely working, no way to indicate room service, the wall had rips, the table was broken. They presented a bar that was not in use and there was no quality coffee to drink

Het personeel was super vriendelijk en behulpzaam. De kamers zijn mooi ruim en van alle gemakken voorzien. Het zwembad is superfijn om in af te koelen na een lange dag door Istanbul sloffen.

Er lijkt weinig onderhoud te zijn gepleegd sinds de bouw van het hotel. Wat achterstallig onderhoud begint op te vallen.

Фотографии совсем не соответствуют состоянию. Очень старый ремонт. Много чего не работает. В нашем номере душ не работал. Мы отказались от отеля, но деньги нам не вернули. Не рискуйте, заманившись видом. Вид с террасы на крыши других старых зданий.

Cet hôtel est magnifique. La chambre spacieuse et vue sur le bosphore. Le personnel est à l'écoute et fait tout pour satisfaire le client. Proche des centres d'intérêts et du tramway. Expérience exceptionnelle si vous pouvez monter les escaliers. Petits déjeuner complet.

J'ai tout aimé. Le petit déjeuner pourrait peut être proposer des petits plats turcs différents chaque matin.

Nous avions choisi un studio avec vue sur le Bosphore. La vue était surtout sur les chaises de la terrasse. Et le studio… papiers peints décollés par l’humidité, porte qui ne fermait pas, toutes petites fenêtres. Bref, impossible. Après négociation nous avons passé une nuit dans la plus belle chambre de l’hôtel. Notre fille de 21 ans sur un lit de camp. Cela a été la seule nuit.

Die Lage ist sehr zentral und gut angebunden. Das Personal ist freundlich, hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend. Stets ist jemand ansprechbar gewesen. Unsere Anliegen wurde alle zur Kenntnis genommen, verstanden und es gab stets eine Lösung.

Die Betten waren weitestgehend, für mich, zu weich. Doch das ist bei weitem kein Thema was eine negative Rückmeldung darstellen soll. Viel mehr ist es ein reines subjektives empfinden. Der Schlaf war dennoch möglich, erholsam und in Ordnung

The facilities are very clean and the hotel is in a great location. The staff were excellent especially Kurban and Macid. I would definitely stay again next time I am in Istanbul :)

We loved everything about this place. If you want a real Turkish hill experience this is the perfect place and the view from the top is spectacular. The breakfast is lovely, the rooms are spacious and clean and cleaned regularly and well and all the staff are amazingly friendly and helpful

People will talk about the stairs to get to it but we actually really enjoyed the daily climb - it made for a great daily workout and made us feel like one of the locals. It would have been great if the restaurant served food throughout the day.

The hotel is in need of some maintenance issues, peeling paint on the outside, a bit more tidying up the outside. The room has a lovely view of the Bosphorus, but the photo's are deceiving of your view. Air conditioning was inadequate, we couldn't get the room down to a comfortable temperature. Shower door wasn't on the track right, hook fell off of the wall and had problems with the toilet flushing

Wir hatten die Suit, diese war sehr schön. Generell war das Personal sehr freundlich, das einzige was man kritisieren kann ist der allgemeine Zustand des Hotel, dies ist Kritik auf hohem Grad, es sind Kleinigkeiten wie unsaubere arbeiten des Malers. Wird den meisten wahrscheinlich aber nicht mal auffallen, und da die Preise auch nicht zu teuer sind, völlig oke.

We loved everything about Loop Hotel, most of all the hospitality we were extended by the staff. Kurban (Chef Kurban), Umut ( The Batman) n Semir went out of their way to make our stay comfortable and we were even given a super duper early check in (like 8 am) and given a couple of breakfasts as well even tho we booked for 1 day. They were very knowledgeable on recommendations on activities and also the hotel is a 2 min walk from the tram station which makes Galata, Blue Mosque etc all super accessible. Cannot recommend this hotel enough ! 5 stars from my end !

Personalet var hjælpsomme og stemningen meget rolig som et lille lokalt hotel. Spørger man om en omelet til morgenmaden, så laver de en. Poolen er dejlig, selvom solen går ned på terrassen omkring kl 16 (i juli)

Hotellet er meget slidt og ikke vedligeholdt, det har nok set ud som billederne engang. Fugtskader i loftet over bruseren, løse brædder rundt omkring bygningen, gamle ødelagte/slidte møbler der ikke er i brug står opbevaret på terrassen. Det er ikke urent eller ulækkert, bare meget slidt. Wifi på værelset var ustabilt. “Garden view-room” er udsigt direkte ind i en slidt bygning overfor, ingen have i sigte.

I returned to Loop because the location, view and rooms are the best in Istanbul. But the best part is the staff - they make you feel at home and are always available to assist. Would always come back here.

People comment on the steps but we always had someone from the hotel help us with our bags and feel like unless you’re elderly or have mobility issues the steps really aren’t an issue.

Die Aussicht aus dem Zimmer-phantastisch! Am Pool und auf der Terrasse phänomenal!!! Besonders hervorzuheben, dass super nette aufmerksame Personal. Wir haben uns so wohl gefühlt! Die Frühstück Auswahl ist auch hervorragend und wurde immer neu aufgefüllt. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!

Heel veel trappen om tot aan het hotel te komen, maar het voordeel hierbij is dat je een prachtig uitzicht over de Bosporus en brug hebt! Ook is het hierdoor heel rustig, want er is geen lawaai van de auto's.

La posizione dell'hotel è ottima. La colazione buona ed abbondante. La piscina sul tetto e la possibilità di prendere il sole senza uscire dell'hotel sono la carta vincente. Unica pecca è la ripida scalinata da fare a piedi per raggiungere l'hotel, se si hanno bagagli è scomodo.

L'aria condizionata raffreddava poco ed il rubinetto del lavabo era rotto, anche se funzionante.

Notre chambre donnait directement sur la terrasse c’était top ! On avait une vue magnifique. La chambre est jolie et le salle de bain également. Tout était propre avec des articles de toilette à disposition dont des chaussons et des peignoirs. Le personnel était adorable et souriant, vraiment rien à redire là-dessus ! Le petit déjeuné était très bon. L’hôtel est proche du ferry et du tram, très bien placé. Nous avons vraiment passé un très bon séjour !

Le seul point négatif est les interminables escaliers pour accéder à l’hôtel. Je déconseille l’hôtel aux personnes en mauvaise santé ou qui ont des problèmes de respiration.

Property is not kept in good repair, peeling wall paper in our room (just one of many examples of neglect and disrepair). Nevertheless the room and bathroom were clean - thank you. The patio and pool area was old and deteriorated, the ‘sea side view’ was over grotty roof tops. Breakfast was not a good standard.

Das Frühstück war sehr gut. Es fehlt an nichts. Beste Omelette EVER! Fühlte mich von Anfang an wohl. Der Chef der Rezeption ist sehr zuvorkommend, wie alle anderen Mitarbeiter auch. Die Aussicht vom Restaurant/Bar ist herausragend. Das Zimmer mit der Schiebetüre zum Einzelbett war perfekt! Super sauber. Ich fühlte mich wie zu Hause.

Die Treppe vom Bosphorus hinauf zum Hotel war nach einem guten Essen inklusive Bier und Wein schon sehr anstrengend. Ich würde jedoch jederzeit wieder dieses Hotel buchen. Das Taxi fährt zum Glück oben zum Hotel. Das sind dann deutlich weniger Treppen. Das Personal hilft beim Tragen der Koffer. Super Service. Vom Hotel runter zum Bosphorus sind es knappe 2 Minuten - rauf etwas mehr ;-) !

Great hotel and an excellent location — most places are within walking distance, and the T1 tram makes getting around very easy. We really enjoyed our stay. We had a small issue with the air conditioning, but it did not affect our overall experience. Thank you to all the hotel staff for their hospitality, and a special thanks to Kurban for always being helpful, responsive, and positive. He did his best to solve the issue with air conditioner. Would definitely recommend this hotel!

Мы снимали двухкомнатный номер с подругой с видом на Босфор. Я всегда ценю атмосферу и здесь она прекрасная. Персонал доброжелательный, завтраки готовила очень приятная добрая женщина, всё свежее и качественное! По вечерам мы сидели на террасе и любовались городом, нам приносили пледы и заботились. Ванная и туалет чистые, в номере было два санузла, очень удобно. Воспользовались трансфером в аэропорт, поплавали и пообедали на корабле. Бронировали этот отель из-за расположения, приезжали на концерт А.Бочелли, действительно удобное( лестница как фитнес)), но чемоданы мы не носили, поэтому всё хорошо, прокачали мышцы). До Галатопорта 15 мин пешком.

То что не был наполнен бассейн и не было той красивой иллюминации как на фото.

La location dell’hotel era davvero comoda per visitare alcune aree vicino al Bosforo, molto vicino! Era carina la vista sul Bosforo dal patio con i tavolini. Il personale alla reception super gentile e cortese.

Non ho apprezzato molto le scale per raggiungere l’hotel e inoltre dovrebbero mettere un segnale per indicare la location dell’hotel.

1.Very unclean place not soundproof. Public area is not ready and far away from the pics showed on booking 2.Bad location, located at the mid of the hill, too much staircases and no any reminders about it before we checking in. It caused us overloaded strength training to bring two big luggage to the hotel 3. Bad service, even they don't have too many guests during our saty. 4.non-fresh breakfast

Das Hotel ist schon sehr in die Jahre gekommen und das sieht man auch. Für ein angebliches 5-Sterne-Hotel muss mehr auf Details geachtet werden.

The view from the hotel is nice, the bed was comfortable

The hotel is located in a lively party area, so when we stayed on a Saturday night it was quite noisy. Unfortunately, there was also mold above the shower in the bathroom. The room itself was fairly small, and the rooftop terrace/bar shown in the photos was not open during our stay. Also, the AC couldn’t be controlled from the room, we had to call reception so they could regulate it centrally. Overall, we felt the pictures did not accurately reflect the actual condition and atmosphere of the hotel. The price for our initial stay was reasonable, and we had originally planned to return for another two nights after our trip to Istanbul. However, after seeing the room and noticing that the rate had somehow doubled for the additional nights, we decided to cancel. In our opinion, the hotel was significantly overpriced for what it offered.

Staff was good

The pictures and the reality didn’t match. The room was molded and quite tired. Some lights didn’t work. Apart from that, the hotel located in the middle of quarter, to get there you have to take a lot of steps, not the best option if you have some baggage with you.

The location of this hotel is very inconvenient and misleading. It is not accessible by car, and this important detail is not mentioned anywhere in the description. To reach the hotel, you have to climb around 160 stairs every single time, which can be extremely difficult if you have luggage or mobility issues. The room was also very disappointing and looked nothing like the photos shown on Booking. The overall quality felt more like a 3-star hotel rather than what was advertised. There was dust in several areas of the room, and the wallpaper was peeling off in places, which made the room feel poorly maintained. The breakfast was very basic with very limited options and did not meet expectations at all. Overall, the hotel was definitely not worth the money, and the experience did not match what was advertised.

Well turned up having made my booking for 12 months to be told that my room for the second night was not available! Walked outside to bar area to be greeted to an empty swimming pool and dog poo on the terrace! Had to change the first room offered as waa only 2 beds Second day more dog poo outside of our room Eventually moved to jacuzzi room on day 3 which was in main block which was better. Managed to fill Jacuzzi over jets the first day but not the second If you struggle with steps DO NOT BOOK !!

Au prix de la nuit le standing de la chambre et la propreté sont nettement à améliorer. L'isolation des fenêtres est à revoir il est compliqué de dormir la nuit.

Excellent space, great views close to the Tram. Breakfast was excellent.

The stairs are a bit step to get to the entrance with luggage. The staff happily assisted us when leaving. Get the taxi to drop you off at the top of the stairs not the bottom like we did.

Es war eine perfekte Lage, mit direktem Blick auf dem Bosporus

Man muss wissen, dass Istanbul sehr hügelig ist und einige Treppen zum Hotel zu überwinden sind, was aber ok ist, wenn man sportlich fit ist😉
