The room was clean, with smart tv.

I think the airconditioning system was placed a little off in the corner of the room so it took hours before the room cooled comfortably. The dining area , although at the penthouse , was a little hot . They only turn on the aircon when there a lot of guests. Too sad. In our 3 day stay, there were only a few guests. The buffet breakfast table closed on our last day just because only 6 of us were eating.

The room was comfortable. The air purifier.

The view was of a fire escape in a corner. The breaker for the hot water was switched off. I had to do that myself. No soap to wash your hands. Very little space for toiletries.

Very comfortable beds and friendly staff. the free airport transfer is a nice bonus.

Could use better or extra curtains. It’s light in the room now when the sun comes up around 5am which is not great if you arrive with a jetlag.

The place was immaculate, nothing was a problem, we had hot water problems in our room but changed rooms immediately, was perfect,,, will visit again

Location - this is in the city center so very convenient if you booked tour activities. Instant hot shower, strong water pressure, comfortable beds, clean linens, towels, bathrooms. Complimentary breakfast (yummy!!!) and airport transfer.

The staff is what I'd like to comment on. The manager and Filipina at desk were two of the most wonderful people on this earth. Went way way beyond their duties to help me with an airline situation that saved me thousands. I cannot thank them enough, karma will be good to you both and I will not ever forget your kindness.

Honestly we almost always leave good reviews and we always close an eye for minor things but if there is one thing that I don’t tolerate, anywhere, is being lied to. On the night before our last day, before going to dinner we stopped at reception to ask informations about arranging our transfer from Puerto princesa to el nido as we weren’t sure if we wanted to leave one day earlier than we originally planned and wanted to discuss it over dinner having all the information. We were told that the price for shared transfer was 700 per person and the price for private transfer was 1700 per persons. After dinner we come back and decided to book a private transfer for the next day. At that point we are told that the price is 7000 (it is 2 of us). We go back and forth for a couple of minutes with me asking what changed and why she told us just one hour earlier that the price was 1700 per person, she swears she never said that and that I must have misunderstood, she then call a manager that confirmed that price for private transfer was always 7000. At that point my wife remembers that actually she already had that conversation a couple of weeks earlier, while booking the hotel on booking.com she also asked prices for excursions, transfers, airport pick-ups ecc.. so she pulls out the chat with the hotel and there, back on white there is their text saying that the prices for transfer to el nido are 700 per person for shared and 1700 per person for private. The manager reads the text, makes a couple of phone calls and then just told us that “there was a misunderstanding”, interesting that the “misunderstanding” was exactly the same number the receptionists told us just an hour earlier as well. Anyway he told us there is nothing he can do and price for private transfer is still 7000. Very poor experience overall, we are glad we left a day early.

We really liked this hotel. Only stayed for one night but the staff were so great, the room was comfortable and even provided us a fan as well as an AC unit. The breakfast options were so amazing. We ordered and it was prepared for us very quick and delicious. 10/10 would recommend this hotel to someone staying in the area. Great location and very central. They even offered free shuttle service to the airport for us. Love this hotel

Nice place

We enjoyed our stay with a complimentary buffet breakfast that had great quality food and was delicious. My only suggestion is to enhance the cleanliness of the floor, as I found it greasy and odorous.

I had a wonderful time staying at the hotel for five days, as it was accessible to everything. While the cleanliness was acceptable, I expected better for the price per night; dusting and mirror cleaning should be addressed.

It was a beautiful hotel only a few blocks away from the Porto princesa boardwalk walking. The only thing was everything in town was close for Good Friday catholic holiday.But it was fun walking in the boardwalk had lots of restaurants and the beach

Very nice property with all the necessities. The staff were very nice and friendly. Room was super clean and the bed was comfortable. It was walkable distance to restaurants, and they provide free airport shuttle.

Overall the place is nice. It’s clean and facilities are good. There’s plenty of transportation when you step outside so it’s not that hard to go places. The breakfast is good and the staffs are friendly.

Overall this property is above normal expectations while traveling. Only thing lacking would be to have a refrigerator (mini) in the rooms for how upscale this property is in comparison. Lower quality places have refrigerators and it helps with leftover food or having cold drinks besides water. Staff was truly amazing and polite.

Breakfast and airport shuttle was the draw for booking. Staff were helpful, and attentive. Beds were very comfortable. A/C was amazing.

Laminate flooring super slippery without shoes. Wifi unstable and slow.

Room was nice and clean and staff were attentive - they arranged airport transfers for us which was great. Breakfast options were quite limited and were left uncovered all morning which meant there were bugs all over the eggs nearer the end of breakfast. Location was good, not too far away from the airport and also close to the Puerto Princesa baywalk pier and restuarants.

Rooms facing the street can be a bit noisy. Our first room had an issue with hot water. The staff were quick to change our room and all was good. Staff are polite and helpful. Hotel is VERY clean and pretty new looking. Room was spotless. Breakfast was good with a number of options. For the money this hotel was a bargain. Highly recommended.

Nice hotel staff, but there was a mix up with our room bill when we checked in, which was resolved after we were already in our room. Good thing it was caught. Anyway, room was small, but it was ok for our stay. Room was clean. There’s a bar/restaurant next door, and if you didn’t bring headphones to drown out the noise, it was difficult to sleep. The breakfast buffet spread was great! Many food choices and all delicious. Hotel staff was polite and courteous. Thank you for your warm hospitality.

Pros: Shuttle van to and from Puerto Princesa Airport available for free during their designated service hours, after hours shuttle fee is 500 pesos for up to 4 persons; Bedrooms are new; bedrooms are very clean; strong WiFi connection; with smart TV; Security guard at the entrance 24/7; very quiet inside the room and did not hear any noise from outside; warm shower water; toothbrush and toothpaste provided; shampoo and shower gel provided; hair dyer provided; has safe deposit box; instant coffee, sugar, creamer provided; good lighting; free breakfast; respectful and helpful staff; walking distance to the Bay Walk with multiple restaurants and bay view. Cons: Bedrooms are small; no desk; no chair except for 1 plastic stool; no luggage rack or stand; limited hanging space and drawers; hand soap not provided; no restaurant in the hotel nor next door. Overall, I like this hotel because it is new, very clean, quiet and secure.

The Hotel is still new and very clean. However, it is a little bit far from shopping and good restaurant. Has a very nice view from the 7th floor of this Hotel overlooking the mountain and Ocean.

The staff was phenomenal! They were the kindest, most helpful group of people I have ever met….all of them! I can’t wait to stay here again…hopefully, next year.

Property was kept up very well period my room was very clean and the bathroom was spotless. The staff at the front desk was very helpful answering questions and providing Advice. I would definitely stay there again. Great value for the money

My husband had stained their twin fitted sheets and we were charged $25.68 (1500 pesos) had we known that it be this expensive I would have gone and bought brand new sheets to replace this stained one. They claimed that the stain won’t come off but when they brought it down it was still dry and haven’t tried washing it. I use bleach a lot and no stained could resist it. Or I could have brought it to a Laundromat beside the building and it will Not cost that much. The hotel and the service was good but this incident had left a sour note on our stay.

Out of 5 hotels we stayed on our trip to the Philippines, I have to say this was the best hotel. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms were very clean and nice, with door bells, thick walls. The breakfast was fresh and filling. I wanted to book a reservation for a restaurant a local recommend, but said we needed reservations and the front desk did that for us. When our transportation for our excursions arrived they called to our rooms or the dinning areas. I think this hotel is even better than most hotels in the states.

The staff at Alvea were very helpful and even accommodated our early departure by letting us come in 20 minutes prior to their opening breakfast time which we appreciated. The breakfast was average but we enjoyed our stay there very much.

We stayed here overnight in order to catch an early morning flight out of Puerto Princesa. The hotel offers complimentary airport shuttle. The room is simple and breakfast was fine. Nothing flashy, it served its purpose. The gym is small but dumbbells and a bench. It had a rowing machine which wasn’t working (?). The area around the hotel had a lot of shops and food options

Great comfy beds 10/10 and slept so well great central location.

Breakfast. Fresh milk and juice locked in fridge. Had to have creamer in tea. Horrible. Fruit salad was rubbish. Lots of nice local fruit but not given. Had a mouldy bit of Apple, some slices of orange and 2 grapes. Could have improved with yoghurt, granola and decent fruit. Also milk!

I recently stayed at Alvea Hotel in Puerto Princesa and had a wonderful experience. The room was very comfortable, with the air conditioning working perfectly to keep the room cool even during the warm days. The shower was also great, with strong water pressure that made for a refreshing experience. What truly stood out to me was the staff at Alvea Hotel. They were incredibly kind, helpful, and always ready to assist with any requests or questions I had. Their hospitality really made my stay memorable. I highly recommend Alvea Hotel for anyone visiting Puerto Princesa!

Staff from A to Z are very accomodating, respectful, professional, and friendly

The staff attitude was great. My flight was late by 8 hours and landed just before 00:00 but the hotel still managed to arrange free transportation for me from the airport. The hotel is close to the airport and walking distance from the baywalk. Room was on the small side but looked very new, bright lights, great bed and bathroom. Good wifi. Also very secure place.

A mini fridge and some water bottles in the room could be helpful. Also could be more 'western' options for breakfast (but it's similar to most hotel I visited on the Philippines)

This is a very well appointed boutique hotel very convinient to the city. It was an easy pick up point for our excursions.

Cleanliness was great!! Very comfortable and has what you need for a quick stop. I needed to stay one day, to do the underwater river tour and be close to the airport, and it full filled its purpose. Cleanliness was the most important for me.

Very comfortable stay for the night. I have stayed here once before and both times now it was a pleasant stay. Room is always clean, bathroom shower is always hot with good pressure, bed is comfortable..just a really nice little hotel. The lobby has a Cafe in it. Their customer service is excellent and the food is very good for a quick bite. They will bring you the food to your room too which was a nice plus. Thank you all for what you do!

I was going on a diving trip to Tuba Taha . This property is most convenient go to the pier. Also walkable to the whole array of restaurant located on the promenade. Staff is extremely helpful, wifi is strong and always available. The breakfast items are very scanty. For most westerners breakfast cereals with milk, eggs are a staple.In the protein segment the only option was an unfamiliar sausage,most prblematic was lack of fresh milk for coffee.

A nice place to stay for just 1 night with a great shower. Especially if you have to fly out the next day. Hotel offers airport shuttle. It's down town Puerto Princesa.

Wonder hotel and clean

The breakfast was quite nice and the little cafeteria they have in the ground floor has amazing food. The staff were helpful with organising tours and transport. There was drinking water outside of our room, the bed was super comfy and the aircon worked really well!

Nice, clean and quiet

The accommodation was clean and comfortable. We stayed here for one night ahead of our flight to Manila. The hotel had an excellent airport transfer service for feee to avail of. The room was well equipped and perfect for our needs.
