Reviewed Aug 24, 2026We really enjoyed the view from our balcony. The hotel is also very well located, with a nearby port that makes it easy to reach different parts of the island by boat. The owner was very kind, explaining to us the different ways to access other areas of Crete, along with various tips for enjoying the place to the fullest.
Maybe towel changes might occur more often.

Reviewed Aug 20, 2026Beliggenheten helt i vannkanten med nydelig utsikt over Middelhavet, var magisk. Å sovne og våkne til bølgeskvulp gav ro i sjel og sinn. Svært hyggelig personale og god service. Vi ble fulgt opp etter alle kunstens regler, og kommer helt sikkert tilbake til samme hotell.
Fikk en liten invasjon av maur på gulvet, men fant maurenes inngangspunkt og fikk stoppet "angrepet".

Reviewed Aug 16, 2026Magnifique hôtel au cœur du village. Nous avons bénéficié d’une chambre avec balcon et vue sur mer. C’était parfait. L’hôtel nous a guidé pour le parking privé très utile car le village est vite saturé. Le petit déjeuner était délicieux et l’accueil chaleureux.

De plus nous avons été accueillis avec une grande gentillesse... Nous espérons très fort revenir pour plus longtemps une prochaine fois. Merci pour tout.

In the morning, you can go downstairs to have coffee and a beautiful Greek breakfast next to the sea. The rooms are extremely comfortable and clean. The staff is kind and helpful. We will return.

Everything was great—the room was super comfortable, the bed was amazing, the location is beautiful, and the view... wow. I could have stared at it all day. The best part, though, was the people. Everyone was so kind, helpful, and genuinely fun to chat with. You can really feel that they care about their guests. I was traveling solo, and I felt safe and looked after the entire time, which meant a lot to me. It's one of those places that's hard to leave, and I'd happily come back. Thanks for making my trip so special! ❤️

Reviewed Jun 15, 2026Schönes kleineres Hotel direkt am Meer gelegen. Die Zimmer sind zwar relativ klein, aber sehr schön renoviert. Jedes Zimmer aht einenn kleinen Balkon mit Blick auf die kleine Bucht.
Es kann abends von der Touristengasse unterhalb relativ laut sein. Auch der Fährverkehr der ab 07:00 Uhr morgens beginnt kann relativ laut sein, wenn das Fenster offen ist.

Matelas ( surmatelas en fait ). Archi bruyant la nuit, alors que tout ferme assez tôt, 23 heures, a 1h30 du matin on peut entendre beaucoup de monde dans le bar exterieur de l'hôtel. Un jour le café coute 1.80€, le lendemain 3€ pour le même café servi par la même personne.

Reviewed May 25, 2026The hotel is in a prime spot with lovely views. The staff were excellent and even held my bag for 2 days whilst hiking. They couldn't do enough for us ans even lent us beach towels. The rooms are very clean and the beds extremely comfy. It was the best 2 night's sleep we had all holiday as we were moving around a lot.

Reviewed May 18, 2026The room has a beautiful view. A small balcony adds to the feeling of being in a special place. you can take the ferry to other remote villages along the southern coast.
Tourism as a whole is like a two edged sword. Cretans need to create a sustainable living so they build out from small beginnings to bigger and touristy destinations. That's what Hora Sfakion has become. 300+ locals that host way too many people. There is no bad guy here. When a place becomes too crowded or claustrophobic, I feel like I am more of a customer than a visitor.

Reviewed May 11, 2026C'est un hotel rénové tout neuf et de très bon gout. Très moderne. Tout le confort. Très grands lits confortables, salle de bain et wc séparés. Vue mer avec balcon. Il y a un bon restaurant et de bos petits déjeuners• Les prix en mai sont très bas. Le personnel est trrès aimable et le directeur qui parle français a été au petit soin pour nous. C'est un hébergement idéal pour embarquer ensuite pour Loutro, un site vraiment exceptionnel.

Reviewed Apr 7, 2026This place was wonderful. First, the room was huge and bright and sunny-overlooking the sea! The young man who let us in the room was really nice and even brought his dog for a visit. The location was incredible- just a few steps from a small food market and a bakery and several restaurants. We were there before the season got busy and the locals were all friendly and really sweet. The area is a hiker’s paradise!! We stayed 3 nights and I wish we’d stayed longer. Every day we drove up into the mountains and explored and hiked. The area is incredibly beautiful and peaceful. Imbros Gorge and Aradena Gorge in particular. If you like the outdoors and hiking and stunning scenery, this is the place to go!

La douche (multi-jets) est séparée du WC et de l’évier. Bouteilles d’eau dans le frigo à notre arrivée. Nous avons pris un excellent déjeuner sur leur terrasse en bord de mer. Literie très confortable ! Parking.

Stylish, gemütlich eingerichtetes Zimmer, prima Dusche. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und wären gerne länger als zwei Nächte geblieben…
Eine Kleinigkeit: Toilette und Waschbecken sind sehr niedrig angebracht, was vor allem für längere Menschen etwas unbequem ist. Aber sonst alles bestens!
