Very attentive staff. Key safe entry. Nice touch having organic refreshments in the room. Modern, functional en-suite.

Room smelt a little, but not unbearable. Maybe a quarter of the space was a walk-in wardrobe & its door blocked entry to the en-suite when open. Sympathise that hotels have to do what they can with the space they have available though.

The hotel was very clean, the beds comfortable and the breakfast good. Hotel staff friendly and approachable.

There was an issue with the flushing of the toilet but that was fixed as soon as reported

Location was perfect. Breakfast in the accommodation for a1. Staff were all nice and helpful.

Not a didn't like but possibly something that most accommodation doesn't have is a fridge in the rooms.

We received a very warm welcome even though we were a bit late arriving. Our room was perfect. The balcony with seating was perfect, especially in this weather. It was easy to find the hotel as it’s on the main road. Everywhere was decorated beautifully and the theme ran throughout the hotel. We didn’t bring our dog but it’s easy to see they are welcome.

Nothing. The main road can get noisy so if you’re not a fan of road noise it might not suit. There is also a funfair right outside at the moment. It didn’t bother us at all.

Comfortable clean and cozy. Breakfast was excellent . I chose the Vegetarian option and was not disappointed. Food arrived promptly , well cooked and good portion size . Staff were lovely

I got unlucky, apparently double booked so I got moved to a twin. A group came back to the room above me late and moved furniture around, chatted very loudly until 2.30am. My noise cancelling earphones didn't touch the noise. It was a Saturday night in August, I get people are on holiday but sadly this wrecked my chance of sleep. Like I said, guess I got unlucky.

Breakfast was excellent got to taste both of the chefs on change over 10/10 for both. The location was right opposite the sea front and shops a couple of minutes away

well run hotel, the room was very clean just the right size with tea and coffee and a fan provided. great breakfast with very good service from the lady in the breakfast room. right on the front close to the beach.

Nothing to put here. I was worried about parking but I got a space right outside the hotel.

The hotel has beautiful common areas and the design has clearly been well thought out and is beautifully presented. The staff were also very accommodating to the few requests that we made.

The room size was adequate for a short stay but for a week or more I think it would have been a little small. That being said we booked late, and if we were planning a longer stay I'd be looking when there is more room availability.

Thankyou to all the staff for such great care and attention that made my stay so wonderful. My room had a beautiful sea view. My balcony was huge! The cooked breakfast every morning was delicious with a huge variety on the morning buffet to choose from. The staff are so friendly and easy going. The garden was lovely with benches to relax on. Just such an all round lovely place to stay.

My Daughter has non stopped thanking me saying how much shes loved staying here. That's a win for me ! Staff really lovely and helpful. Couldn't have been any closer to the beach, have stayed in b&b's in Paignton over the years and this has been the best and great value !!

Very impersonal in that we only saw a member of staff on leaving when handed back the key. To be honest didn't go looking but all doors downstairs were shut so wasn't sure if supposed to go through them. But guy handed key back to seemed ok.

I had an excellent stay at this location. The room was extremely clean, spacious, and tastefully decorated. The bed was very comfortable, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep. The staff was friendly and attentive, and the overall atmosphere was very welcoming. I will definitely return!

Noise from the fair which could still be heard with windows shut. Would have been good to have been warned about this. No offer to change rooms and staff not very helpful. Dated decor in the rooms.

It was beautiful, the room was really clean, the balcony was a perfect little sun trap, we could see the sea and pier. The bed was really comfortable, we had a great night sleep. Will definitely be returning. The staff were really friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed. The hotel was soo close to everywhere we wanted to go.

I like where the hotel is situated. Train station 10mins from there. The pier is right opposite and the beach. Plenty of shops near and places for food.

Booked a room with balcony as we had a small dog. Gap between the railing and the floor was quite big. Dog could have gone through. Room was very dated. Wallpaper peeling off. Not many sockets. Bathroom was ok.

Firstly the colour theme. Nice big room and furniture. Great view and balcony space.

We arrived later than planned due to m5 traffic. An email had been sent to me with clear instructions on how to enter the property ect. Lots of car parks near by. Room was spacious, clean, had a fan which was an unexpected bonus in the heat. Really good quality tea/coffee/biscuits. Super friendly owners. Lovely large communal lounge,

Had a wonderful time at this hotel ,beautifully decorated and super clean. Location is brilliant as I went with my elderly mum and her dog and it was a very dog friendly place . Gary and James went out their way for us and kindly dropped us to the train station . All the staff are super friendly and help you with what ever you need. Thank you all for a really lovely stay ,they are all very hard working and helpful .

Breakfast was freshly cooked to order so very good, but served on a cold plate meant it was not hot enough. Our dog was warmly welcomed. Ideal place to stay with a dog as there is a huge grassy area opposite.

Our room was not made up but didn't mattter too much as we are tidy people! Traffic quite noisy as hotel is situated on a busy road but double glazing very effective as long as closed. We stayed during a heatwave so had to keep it open. Lovely big balcony and spacious room with plenty of places to unpack into.

The location was perfect. It was good value and cheaper than the Mercure and Ibis nearby and was more characterful. Like something in Key West in Florida! The room was lovely and even had a sea view. The staff were friendly and the breakfast was delicious. The coffee was really nice too. I would highly recommend. It also had a lovely garden and gazebo to sit in.

Located next to the wonderful Paignton Beach, the property offers clean, well-decorated rooms and very friendly staff. We were also offered a vegetarian option for the full English breakfast, which was delicious.

James and Gary were so lovely and we even got a room upgrade to a balcony with a partial sea view which was fantastic for enjoying the warm evenings The bed and pillows were comfy and the room was equipped with beverage facilities, towels and soaps. All the necessities for short stays. The breakfast was great value for money, a full breakfast with cereal and pastries!

The only qualms we had were the shower which was very difficult to get to a good medium temperature though it was very hot which my partner loved very much. Secondly was the lack of a toilet brush!

The property is tastefully designed and immaculate. It has a real comfortable feel about it. The hosts were extremely attentive and kind. I went on a works trip and it was the perfect location for a base. My room overlooked the sea and it was exceptionally clean. There’s an eerie peaceful feel about it. I was so happy I booked my next stay at checkout

Cheerful, pleasant, friendly and welcoming hotel. The manager, James, was very helpful and friendly. The hotel is well maintained and clean. Location is excellent, right on the sea front and close to all the main attractions. The room rate was good value and this was a nice alternative to larger chain hotels. I would stay again and can recommend this hotel.

Parking is limited. I was able to park for free just at the top of the road in an unrestricted spot.

The hotel is directly opposite the beach and a short walk from the main town and attractions but not so close that it’s noisy at night. It’s outstandingly clean and comfortable and the owners are friendly and welcoming. There is a lovely garden for guests to sit in. This is our second stay and I would highly recommend. It’s ideal for both couples and families and is very dog friendly (we had 3 small dogs with us).

Great location close to beach. Easy walk into town and train station. Definitely worth the upgrade for the balcony for sitting out with a coffee in the morning and to let the fresh air in through the door. Enjoyed the hot chocolate and the cookies too. Lovely little garden with benches and smoking area. Owners very friendly and helpful. Everyone there seemed happy and relaxed.

Welcoming friendly staff. The whole place was spotless, an environment obviously well cared for and beautifully presented. Given the extreme heat, very grateful for the fan in room.

The location was great, walking distance to town, beach and restaurants, fantastic views. It was also surprisingly quiet in the hotel, bearing in mind the location, which was great. A very comfortable stay, thank you.

The cooked breakfast portions were small, our breakfasts were served on side plates, it seemed that only the full breakfasts came out on dinner plates.

I loved everything about this place.My room was clean ,bright and very comfortable.It had great sea views and good coffee! Added bonus was a lovely balcony. Breakfast was very good. Hospitality was great. Will definitely be returning.

Super friendly welcome from the gentlemen at reception (owner?). Hotel... what a gem of a find. Super clean, decorated/coordinated beautifully. Room was comfy and clean. Lovely view of the pier. Lovely oudoor space in front of the hotel. 5 mins walk to tge beach front. I would recommend staying here 100%. I'll definitely return. 😀
