La ubicación.

- No me enviaron las instrucciones de entrada al alojamiento. Tras una llamada con la persona encargada, me indicó que me lo enviaría y nunca llegaron los mensajes. Suerte que una señora me dijo la clave de entrada al edificio y la tarjeta de la habitación la dejan en la puerta en un sobre. - La mampara de la ducha no cerraba bien, no tragaba bien el agua y tenía suciedad. - Escribí dos veces más al propietario y no recibí respuesta. Un desastre.

Great location and easy to communicate with everyone. Lovely to have coffee selection in the room and the tea. Wine and fruit was a lovely touch. Goid value for money.

The isolation was not 100% but since it’s an old building, we understand

Veru good location, close to everything, friendly staff. But after 21pm the noise go up, the clean the streets and pick up garbage for like 2 hours, and it’s really loud. Check in is at 15pm and it’s super late for no reason, but they did let us leave our bags, when they finally answer the door.

It’s not to clean, the towels were old and with stains. We didn’t have hand soap for the last 6 days.

הצוות לא היה יותר מדי זמין, אבל ברגע שפגשת את אחד מאנשי הצוות (המנקים בדרך כלל) אז היו מתקשרים לאיש הצוות שהיה צריך להגיע והיה מגיע תוך 5-10 דקות.

Die Kommunikation im Vorfeld war sehr gut und einfach. Das Einchecken hat auch am späten Abend super geklappt. Auch ist die Lage sehr gut.

Die Sauberkeit war eine absolute Katastrophe. Es hatte diverse Flecken und Haare auf dem Leintuch und im Bett. Auf dem Kissen einige Lippenstift-Spuren. Die Dusche schimmelt nach wie vor und wurde noch immer nicht behoben. Die Gastgeberin hat sich zwar entschuldigt, seitdem antwortet sie allerdings auf keine Nachricht mehr.

Ми пізно заселялись і не отримали інструкції по заселенню, ні код від двері, ні номер кімнати. Намагались звʼязатися з працівниками,з початку просто поклали трубку. Як би не таксист який вночі привіз нас з аеропорту ми б ночевали на вулиці. Він найшов телефон менеджера і ми йому зателефонували і він вже прислав інструкції по заселенню. Але розбиратися з цим о пів на третю вночі не дуже!

Wir benötigten wegen eines Flugausfalls ein Hotelzimmer über Nacht. Der Check-In war 23:00 Uhr noch geöffnet und das Zimmer sehr schön.

Der Preis war recht hoch und für eine Nacht ohne Frühstück 218€. Das war sehr hoch, aber wir brauchen ein Bett.

Für die Erkundung von Funchal war es top gelegen. Besonders hervorzuheben war der Madeira Wein, die Bananen und Schokolade zur Begrüßung. Wir kommen gern wieder.

Ohropax sind Pflicht, durch die Restaurants und Bars war es zu laut.

Wir waren hier als Zwischenstopp auf dem Weg zur Insel Porto Santo. Vom Check-In bis zum Check-Out war alles unkompliziert. Wir konnten sehr zeitig am Morgen auschecken, da wir die Fähre bekommen mussten. Die Gastgeberin war sehr freundlich. Das Zimmer großzügig, sauber, zentral gelegen. Das Haus im inneren war auch einwandfrei und schön modern gestaltet. Es gab auch eine kleine Küchenecke. Hier könnte man definitiv auch länger bleiben.

Staff were so helpful. Room was spotless clean. Comfortable bed and facilities for cooking and making coffee. Everything you could need. Minor issue with tourist tax. I had not noticed Booking.com had charged tourist tax but was also charged at the complex. The complex refunded the tourist tax once I informed them it had been charged twice and also €100 damages deposit was refund a day or so after checkout. Just to note location is excellent and you are in the heart of the city, there will be some slight outside noise but to be honest this was not loud or disturbing our stay and does not reflect on the quality of the apartment. Would recommend 100%.

Die Lage mitten im Zentrum. Das heißt aber auch, dass es mit Parken sehr schwierig bzw teuer wird. Als Willkommensgeschenk gab es Bananen, Madeira Wein und Pralinen.

Es war nicht sauber. Im Bad viele Haare am Boden und im Studio war der Teppich nicht gesaugt und es lagen Brösel, etc. drauf.

Clean comfortable apartment in ideal area.

This a great place to come and discover Madeira. It is right in the middle of the city, riviera is right around the corner, restaurants, shops, market, street entertainment - everything is in walking distance. Place is neat and clean, with small compliment at arrival, very pleasant and helpful stuff. I would definitely recomend it and come back again. Thank you!

We booked a Suite, advertised as 2 single beds and a futon. We were given room 401, which had no futon. No kettle, either.. Someone (staff, I hope) let themselves into our room at 9.40am, then retreated. The balconies don’t really have views.

While the site does say CHECK IN is at 3 pm....it doesn't tell you that you can not even get into the building UNTIL 3 pm ... be aware of this. There is no one there until 3 pm.

While it says BREAKFAST ...it was never offered and never saw breakfast being served....

Tolle Lage, alles sehr sauber, freundlicher Empfang, gut organisiert.

Das Fenster sollte man nicht öffnen, da man danach Küchengeruch im Zimmer hat - aber da wir nur übernachten wollten war das nicht unbedingt nötig.

We arrived rather late and had not received any email or notification about late check-in instructions, so it was on us to contact someone in management by phone to figure out how to get in. A little strange, but once inside, everything was easy. The room was very comfortable, a complimentary bottle of Madeira was waiting, very nice. The property was very clean and in a great location, a block from the water, near restaurants and shops, very convenient.

Instructions for late arrival would have been nice.

La réception à l'étage, Nous n'avons pas vu de salle pour le petit déjeuner mais ce n'est pas un problème en soi, puisque la situation en plein centre ville avec des cafés situés à proximité. Le peu de personnel sur place est très sympathique, serviable et accueillant. Pas de local bagageries, les valises restent à la réception avec des fois personne sur place pour les surveiller.

La ubicación, cerca a todo, según nuestro itinerario, cerca al puerto de las embarcaciones turísticas, a media calle, la vista fenomenal.

Al ser una cama matrimonial, eran dos secilla unidas, la cabecera era de cama doble, pero las camas eran independientes unidas, para una pareja que le gusta dormir unidos. El confort de la cama estaba bien.

Die Zimmer waren dunkel und klein, das Bad war muffig und Roch schimmelig daher ein schlechtes Bewertungsergebnis

Ich musste auf Grund meines Urlaubes ein zweites Mal in diesem Hotel verbringen, da leider nichts anderes verfügbar war, dies war ein großer Fehler

Bei der geplanten Verlängerung wurde ein Preis vereinbart, der sich vor Ort einfach mal um 100€ erhöht hat, woraufhin ich nicht länger bleiben wollte. Netterweise wurde mir versucht ein anderes Hotel anzubieten, für 50€ mehr….einfach ein Witz! Ich war sehr enttäuscht und musste langer diskutieren…außerdem verlangen sie 100€ Kaution vor Ort….was soll das!? Das steht nirgends und in keinem Verhältnis….schrecklich, nie wieder!

Un peu de bruit deux soirs (à la tête du lit : cloison ou sol au dessus ?) mais très supportable.

Loved the location, close to the Cathedral and within easy walking distance of everything. The room looked out onto a leafy street. It was comfortable and we had everything we needed for one night. Loved the Madeira left in the room.

Hy husband’s key did not work to access the property when he returned at night and no one answered the telephone. Luckily, he was able to contact me and my key worked.

No breakfast. It's a bit noisy some times due to the central location. Clean towels have to be requested but reception is not reachable even the phone number on the board doesn't work.

The accommodation was very secure and required you to scan your door key to enter the building. Lovely decor in the accommodation and very clean. Very central location, lots of restaurants, bars and shops in the immediate vicinity. Very convenient for tour pick ups at the end of the street where a lot of the main bus stops were also located. There was a lovely little bottle of wine, 2 bananas and 2 chocolates in our room on arrival. Lovely decor in the accommodation and very clean. There was a small mini bar and Nespresso machine in the room.

We asked for 2 extra pillows shortly after arrival and were told if they had them they would deliver to our room, they didn't arrive and when we asked again the following day they said they had none. Our air conditioning did not work in our room, we called to reception twice and someone came to the room on the second occasion and checked the panel but didn't know what the issue, they said they would get back to us but they never did. There was no remote for air conditioning in the room. We had to leave one window open in our room each night which resulting in constantly waking to loads of noise from the street / bar below, on one occasion until 4.30 in the morning. The water was only ever very warm in the sink and shower, it was never hot, no matter what time of the day it was used.

Last minute booking as airline cancelled our flight. Excellent location in the heart of Funchal. Staff where exceptional as it it was a very late check with 20 minutes notice.
