Nous avons dormi la fenêtre ouverte et la rue est bruyante : restaurant le soir et chantier tôt le matin

Dejligt lille hotel, en seng og et badeværelse plus en vifte, griner! Billigt og lige i centrum nær havnen. Skulle sejle videre og boede der to dage.

Jeg manglede et køleskab. Ellers var det perfekt!

The fan doesn't work, there is only one power outlet, and there is no internet signal; the room was full of ants. I chose this hotel to stay alone. They gave me room 401 on the top floor. There are so many ants in the room. When I reported this to reception, they told me there were no other rooms available, then called other hotels to check for vacancies. Afterward, they put their manager on the phone and asked me to speak with him. The manager told me there were no other rooms at the hotel or elsewhere; he said that if I wanted, they could refund the cost of the night so I could find a new room myself. If the hotel itself couldn't find another room, how am I supposed to find one on my own? Besides, it is 11 PM. If I were to book a room for tonight at this hour, I would have to pay far more than what I paid for this hotel. I am the one suffering the consequences because proper pest control wasn't carried out. What a disgrace. Furthermore, when I mentioned the fan wasn't working, they told me I could just open the window. Am I supposed to open the window and sleep with even more bugs and flies?

The room that we had was extremely small. We had even difficulties to find suitable place for our lugguages. We were changing clothes one by one.

Le logement correspondait à nos attentes. Son principal atout est sa localisation idéale, en plein cœur de Funchal, ce qui permet de profiter facilement de la ville à pied. L'accueil a été chaleureux et l'équipe s'est montrée disponible à toute heure, ce qui est particulièrement appréciable. De nombreux excellents restaurants se trouvent également au pied de l'établissement. La chambre est simple mais fonctionnelle, confortable et dispose d'un placard. Un très bon choix pour un séjour à Funchal à petit prix.

Il n'y a pas de parking donc compliqué lorsque l'on a une voiture. Nous nous sommes garés au parking du téléphérique (16€/jour).

Wifi doesn't quite reach room 401 - not really a problem if you're only staying 1 night like me but would be a problem if you're staying any longer.

Wszystko zależy od pokoju jaki dostaniesz. Ten pokój był bardzo ładny. Wygodne łóżko.

Lokalizacja w centrum ma ten minus, że czasem w nocy jest głośno.

Dobra lokalizacja, choć czasem może być głośno. Jest bardzo czysto.

W tym pokoju akurat wentylator ledwo działał, w pokoju nie było okna, tylko drzwi na takie ogrodzone ścianami patio na dachu, na który wychodzą wyciągi z restauracji poniżej, także śmierdzi rybą i jedzeniem, nie szło wytrzymać jak otwarte. Drugi pokój mieliśmy dużo lepszy.

401号室は独立していて、Wi-Fiも貸して貰えて問題なく、リモートワークが出来た。

シャンプー、トリートメントがなかった

De locatie is top: midden in het centrum. Daarnaast was het echt heel schoon. De kamer was ruim (we kregen een 4 persoons kamer met ons 2). We hadden een koelkastje op de kamer en de badkamer heeft zowel een bidet als een bad. Het personeel is heel vriendelijk. Fijne 24 uurs receptie.

Eigenlijk viel niets tegen. Ik vond het bed hard, maar dat is heel persoonlijk.

La struttura è ben posizionata, molto comodo se si vuole girare il centro a piedi. Pulizia delle camere giornaliera. Ottima qualità e prezzo!

L’unico problema l ho avuto con il check-in, è segnato che la reception è aperta h24. Io avendo avuto problemi con i miei voli, tra cancellazioni e ritardi avevo avvisato che sarei arrivata per mezzanotte circa, causa ulteriore ritardo del volo sono arrivata per le 2:00 di notte. Non mi sono posta il problema perché avevo controllato che fosse aperta h24, arrivata lì ho trovato un cartello con un numero di riferimento da chiamare, ho chiamato per un’ora e mezza senza alcuna risposta e di conseguenza sono rimasta lì fuori. Il giorno dopo al mattino, ho fatto presente quanto accaduto e che secondo me era corretto togliere dal prezzo quella notte in quanto io da turista mi sono ritrovata in piena notte sola , stanca dopo 17 ore di voli e senza alcuna risposta. Così non è stato quindi ho pagato il prezzo pieno, da cliente penso che era giusto fare una “coccola” per il disservizio che era accaduto, però alla fine di tutto posso dire che il soggiorno è stato piacevole e quindi ha compensato.

Bardzo dobra lokalizacja w obrębie Starego Miasta. Śniadanie wystarczające, zgodnie z tutejszym standardem. Pokój wyposażony we wszystko co potrzebne. Personel miły i pomocny, szczególnie jedna Pani obsługująca recepcję (niestety nie znam jej imienia ale będę pamiętać rozmowy z nią).

La proximité des restaurants, des bars, de la mer,… le rapport qualité/prix. Meme si il y avait de l animation dans la rue, cela s est termine assez tot et donc bonne nuit de sommeil

🚨🚨 ESTÃO A TENTAR ENGANAR-ME / ESTOU A SER LESADO 🚨🚨 NÃO RECOMENDO ESTE ALOJAMENTO. EXPERIÊNCIA ABSURDA E COMPLETAMENTE INACEITÁVEL. Estou a ter um problema gravíssimo com este alojamento e, apesar de já ter enviado todas as provas, ninguém assume o erro nem me dá uma solução. A situação é a seguinte: Eu tinha uma estadia de 21 a 26 de junho, que PAGUEI ATRAVÉS DA BOOKING, no valor de 379,35 €. Tenho o comprovante da própria Booking, onde aparece claramente o pagamento, processado pela Booking, através do meu cartão. Posteriormente, tive outra estadia, de 26 a 29 de junho, que PAGUEI DIRETAMENTE NO HOTEL, no valor de 227,13 €. O problema é que o alojamento aparentemente MISTUROU OS MEUS PAGAMENTOS COM OS DE OUTRA RESERVA/PESSOA e efetuou um reembolso incorreto. Já expliquei isto várias vezes e já enviei os comprovantes. Mesmo assim, continuam sem resolver a situação. O MAIS ABSURDO É QUE, ALÉM DE NÃO ME DEVOLVEREM O DINHEIRO QUE ME DEVEM, AGORA APARECE NA BOOKING UMA COBRANÇA DE CANCELAMENTO. Ou seja: PAGUEI A RESERVA ATRAVÉS DA BOOKING → O DINHEIRO FOI COBRADO → O ALOJAMENTO CONFUNDE OS PAGAMENTOS → NÃO ME DEVOLVEM O DINHEIRO → E AGORA AINDA ME COBRAM UMA TAXA DE CANCELAMENTO. 🚨 ISTO É COMPLETAMENTE INACEITÁVEL. ESTÃO A LESAR-ME. 🚨 Tenho os comprovantes bancários, o comprovante da Booking e toda a documentação que demonstra os pagamentos efetuados. O mais grave é que já tentei resolver isto diretamente com o alojamento, mas não respondem aos meus e-mails nem assumem o erro. Por causa desta situação, vou também apresentar uma reclamação formal diretamente à Booking, porque considero inadmissível ficar sem o meu dinheiro por um erro que não foi cometido por mim. NUNCA TIVE UMA EXPERIÊNCIA TÃO FRUSTRANTE COM UM ALOJAMENTO.

🚨🚨 THEY ARE SCAMMING ME / I AM BEING RIPPED OFF 🚨🚨 I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS ACCOMMODATION. THIS HAS BEEN AN ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE EXPERIENCE. I am currently dealing with a serious payment and refund issue with this accommodation, and despite providing all the evidence, they refuse to acknowledge their mistake or provide a solution. Here is what happened: I had a stay from 21 to 26 June, which I PAID THROUGH BOOKING.COM, for a total of €379.35. I have the Booking.com payment confirmation clearly showing that the payment was processed by Booking.com using my card. I then had another stay from 26 to 29 June, which I PAID DIRECTLY TO THE HOTEL, for €227.13. The problem is that the accommodation apparently MIXED UP MY PAYMENTS WITH THOSE OF ANOTHER RESERVATION/PERSON and processed the wrong refund. I have explained this repeatedly and have provided the relevant payment receipts proving exactly what happened. They still refuse to resolve the situation. And now it gets even worse. NOT ONLY HAVE THEY FAILED TO REFUND THE MONEY THEY OWE ME, BUT BOOKING.COM IS NOW ALSO SHOWING A CANCELLATION CHARGE. So, to be absolutely clear: I PAID FOR THE RESERVATION THROUGH BOOKING.COM → THE PAYMENT WAS TAKEN → THE ACCOMMODATION MIXED UP THE PAYMENTS → I HAVE NOT RECEIVED THE CORRECT REFUND → AND NOW I AM ALSO BEING CHARGED A CANCELLATION FEE. 🚨 THIS IS COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE. I AM BEING RIPPED OFF. 🚨 I have the bank records, Booking.com payment confirmation and all the evidence proving the payments. I have tried repeatedly to resolve this directly with the accommodation, but they do not respond to my emails and refuse to take responsibility for their mistake. I will now be filing a formal complaint with Booking.com because it is completely unacceptable for me to lose money because of an error made by the accommodation. I have never experienced such a frustrating and unprofessional situation. ZERO PROFESSIONALISM. ZERO RESPONSIBILITY.

Lokalizacja super. W centrum, blisko oceanu. Pokój był ciekawie położony, na poddaszu, od drzwi dojście po schodkach do pokoju a potem po schodkach do łazienki. Łóżko wygodne. Łazienka ze skosami więc wysoka osoba by miała problem z prysznicem. Śniadanie średnie, ale to dodatkowo można wziąść. Recepcja całonocna i jest gdzie przechowac bagaż. Generalnie za tą cenę nocleg był ok.

The view from the window was just into a technical courtyard, nothing fancy. A bit of smell in the bathroom, but the personnel did its best the more to suppress it.

Great location. The room was simple, but comfortable and it was cleaned every day. I arrived at 2:00am and left at 4:00am and the reception staff were very helpful despite the late hours.

Brilliant location, very comfortable and clean. Nice kitchenette. Proper bath tub and also a bidet.Excellent restaurants within feet and the Cathedral a few yards away, Farmers Market, port and a very useful supermarket a couple of blocks away. Also I love artwork in hotel rooms!

Being short I found it hard to reach the sockets for the kettle and microwave, some of the cupboards and hangers, and the shower!

As close to the square so noises can travel easier, didn’t bothered me. No aircon required when I stayed, however not having aircon in the room can be hot in high degrees. Stayed there 3nights, no car park however paid car parks in 10min radius walk.

This place is the place to stay in Funchal, great location, price/quality ratio is amazing, comfortable beds and clean, big rooms, can be a bit noisy from the other travellers but nothing important. Kristina at the welcome desk was amazing and very friendly and helpful.

Gave 9 instead of 10 rating because of some other staff on the desk weren't kind, i mean staying 6 nights, and refusing to give another soap for hands? That's a shame.

I booked for airport transfer, they told me it cost 38 € but then the driver make it with taxi meter and it cost 47€ . It is scam, I message the hotel, but no explanation at all. I was really disappointed.

I like the location it was central and close to everything such as food places and the marina. also it was close to shopping

I didn’t like that there was no air and that the streets were noisy at night making it hard to sleep. Also other people staying there were very loud when they would come in at night.

Unterbringung im Nebengebäude, dort sehr anonym; Stockwerke jeweils ziemlich ringhörig; wenig Parkplätze in der Nähe; Einrichtung eher spartanisch (nur das allernötigste)

Very good central location. Easy check in and check out, reception was open at 5am to hand in the key just fine.

Top floor room had an awful smell. There was also a noisy extractor fan right on the balcony. Fridge was set to freezer settings, so when I put my water inside it froze instead.

Location, friendlyness staff and the feeling of safetey due to 24 H reception.

We did not realise ehen we booked the room there was only a bath and no seperate shower in the room. The quality of the breakfast matched the cheap price. So to be honest these are only to verry little issues and we would most certainly book again.
