Beautiful property on the river and the perfect escape. opportunity to take kayaks along the river. Very green and in nature , two great pools. Shuttle to town for free and takes approx 10-15 mins. A very friendly host at the Glow restaurant (Sortir?)

Opportunity for the different hotels along river to take turn to clear the side canals daily as some plastics. Possibly worse due to rain. Breakfast could be slightly improved, it’s quite scaled buffet.

Lovely river resort. Clean comfortable rooms on the river. Easy to get to / from Kampot with the free shuttle and/ grab return (4/5 USD). Good to be able to use the kayaks for free. We only used the pool by the restaurant and this is in a unique setting. Breakfast is very good and food in the restaurant was exceptional - some of the best we had. Staff super helpful.

Very quiet due to low season with some maintenance works but picked up on the weekends with local visits. Kayaking could be improved with less plastic pollution - but this is not the fault of the hotel. It’s good to visit the town, but we definitely preferred the river setting.

Lovely natural setting, staff were outstanding, food at the restaurant for lunch/dinner is delicious. We loved the remote setting out of the busy town. Easy to get complimentary car into town, Tuk Tuk home, even after dark!

Rooms and pool area is a little tired.

L’établissement est magnifique, le personnel a été aidant et parfait avec nous durant tout notre séjour. Nous remercions toute l’équipe de RiverTree pour notre séjour à Kampot. Ils sont venus nous chercher au port à notre arrivée, nous ont fait visiter pendant une journée les alentours de Kampot, on a pu bénéficier d’un service de navette jusqu’au centre ville. Les repas étaient excellents. Mention spéciale pour l’équipe des petits déjeuners très bons avec Sereysaophorn qui a été très serviable pendant notre séjour, nous avons beaucoup appréciés. Nous recommandons à 100% cet hôtel pendant un séjour à Kampot.

Die kleine Villa lag wunderschön an einem kleinem Fluss, an dessen Ufer man auf eigener Terrasse im Schatten die Ruhe und Natur genießen konnte. Schlafzimmer und Aufenthaltsbereiche sind voneinander getrennt. Am Pool lässt es sich unterm Sonnenschirm gut aushalten. Das Personal ist außerordentlich freundlich und zugewandt. Er bleiben keine Wünsche unerfüllt.

Der Kleiderschrank kann mal bei Gelegenheit überarbeitet werden.

We really enjoyed our stay at RiverTree. As usual the staff we amazing and couldn't do enough for us. This hotel was beautifully set out with two pools and overlooked the river near to the Green Cathedral 💚. We used the free kayaks to explore the beautiful water ways. Our room was also had direct access to the river. The Glow restaurant was great & we ate there on two nights. The standard was very good and we really enjoyed both local and western dishes. All in all a great stay with fantastic facilities. Nearly forgot the sunsets from the Glow 🍸 bar rooftop were something else. Many thanks for making our stay x

Beautiful setting and a lovely relaxed hotel with a unique design. Two pools and two restaurants makes it feel spacious and activities on the river are also available.

Our river view room was onto a tiny channel of water and not the main river- not a big problem would have just appreciated knowing that.

Bel hôtel avec chambre spacieuse. Possibilité de faire du canoë . Beau complexe avec plusieurs piscines.

Hôtel situé dans une belle végétation bien entretenue. La chambre était spacieuse et confortable. La piscine était correcte.. Le personnel était sympathique.

Le mobilier en bois de la piscine était usé. Mériterait un lifting, il manquait des matelas.

Traumhafte Anlage. Nochmal deutlich schöner als die bilder es eh schon vermuten lassen. Ich war einfach nur komomett geflasht und wäre am liebsten noch ewig geblieben. Wir wurden behandelt wie Könige ohne dass dabei eine unangenehme Situation entstand. Man fühlt sich hier als Gast wirklich als etwas Besonderes.

Nous avons passé 2 nuits dans cet hôtel très agréable. Le cadre est très beau, très calme Les chambres sont très belles, balcon super agréable. Beaucoup de végétation. 2 belles piscines. Le restaurant est très bon. Le prêt de kayak pour se promener dans la cathédrale verte est vraiment un plus . Le personnel est très aimable et accueillant. L'hôtel est un peu excentré de kampot mais on peut bénéficier d' un trajet offert par l'hôtel par jour. Je recommande vivement.

Hide from view areas where you are still working on improvements. Start new initiatives to jointly clean up plastic in river and along access road to resort. Convince them to stop burning plastic. Clean and upgrade canoe launch and storage area.

The property is perfect if you want lots of rest and relaxation! Most of the time, we had the pool to ourselves during the day because other guests went on tours. Having saunas on property was an added bonus! The staff were attentive and accommodating.

The wooden boardwalks and stairs could use some refurbishments. Also, bathrooms need updating. The hot tub water looked clear, but once the bubbles turned on, there were lots of black particles floating in the water.

RIvertree is an unbelievable experience. The rooms are perfect, the staff are all outstanding and the food superb. We loved everything about the resort. It is a little way out of Kampot but it is simply 5 star. I’m not sure the photos on booking.com do it justice ! Beds are very comfortable and the rooms are lovely and clean. Breakfast choice was great and the lunch and dinner menu good. We would highly recommend and I do hope we are lucky enough to return one day. Thank you.

The one and only downside for us was the wifi kept dropping out. Really not an issue.

Generally good - nice venue. Swimming pool was OK. Food was good with a decent menu & reasonably priced wine.

Not enough loungers, very difficult to move (into shade or sun) & they were a bit dirty. The restaurant service was very slow & erratic at times. Front desk organisational capabilities questionable. The Kampot area felt rundown, lacking in interesting shops & the ambience had a slight 'edge' - very different to Phnom Penh, Siem Reap & Battambang

Very comfortable hotel, well appointed room and well located for those that like to kayak on the Green Cathedral river loop.

Reataurant staff were.fabulous. Reception staff could do to speak more English or French. Twice our bookings for taxis / tuktuks were quite late -.once.by.35.minutes - due to either misunderstandings or.poor.service -.not quite sure which.

Villa a bit of a weird configuration not the best use of space.. why was there a big kitchen with just a sink and kettle …. cupboard doors with nothing behind and a dining table???

The views you get from the property are like a dream! An incredible experience staying in the river villa, overlooking the river. Kayaking on the river is available on-site, ensuring ease of access and convenience. The property itself is 15-min away from the main town, ensuring you're away from the hustle bustle of the city while being in arm's reach whenever needed. Shuttle services (one way from property to the town) can be arranged at fixed times. Highly recommend for a serene and peaceful stay in Kampot! Special shout-out to the staff, who were exceptionally responsive in ensuring an excellent stay.

La localisation, l hotel est immergé dans la végétation, la propreté de l hotel. En revanche, l hotel est un peu bruyant du fait du voisinage à proximité immédiate de l hotel et de certains clients peu éduqués qui parlent fort dès 5h30 du matin...!! le personnel est adorable mais vite débordé quand il y a du monde (surtout au PDJ) et certains ne parlent pas anglais (en reception et au restaurant) mais c'est un bon hotel avec un bon rapport qualité prix pour Kampot.

Propreté de l’ensemble des équipements. Literie très propre et très confortable. Belle piscine très propre. Bon restaurant dans le resort, bon rapport qualité/prix. Possibilité de louer un scooter disponible immédiatement. Nous devions rejoindre Chau Doc (Vietnam), le manager du resort s’est chargé de nous fournir des tickets de bus aux jour et heure choisis. Nous avons bénéficié d’une navette gratuite de l’hôtel au départ du bus.

Jolie salle pour le petit déjeuner, mais la qualité des produits n’est pas au rendez-vous

I had an amazing stay. The room was beautiful, very aesthetically pleasing. From the balcony you have view on the river, it’s very green around and the stuff take care of the garden every day. You can rent a kayak complimentary and enjoy the river. The location for kayaking is perfect. The communication between reception was smooth and easy. They arranged my pick up and drop off from the station for free which was convenient.

One group of guests that were loud, screaming and partying and wasn’t respectful to the other guests

Sehr schöne, grosse Zimmer mit viel Platz und Blick auf den Fluss. Zwei schöne Pools und gutes Essen. Besonders hervorzuheben ist das sehr freundliche und aufmerksame Personal.

La situation en proximité de la rivière et l'aménagement du site nous ont séduit !

- Het eten bij het restaurant op het resort was uitstekend, een geweldige kok!! - 2 zwembaden op het resort wat heerlijk was. - Het resort ligt heel mooi in de natuur, heerlijk om tot rust te komen en een goede uitvalsbasis voor uitstapjes (waarbij je wel even rekening moet houden dat je met een tuktuk naar het centrum moet).

Het ligt aan het doel waarvoor je het resort bezoekt. Als je uitstapjes wilt maken, dan ligt het iets afgelegen en de weg vanaf de hoofdweg naar het resort is onverhard en behoorlijk hobbelig maar op het resort kun je je ook heerlijk vermaken.

The slightly remote, back-water riverside location might not be for everyone, but was just perfect for me. I loved being able to go out kayaking whenever, or just relax around the facilities surrounded by greenery. The accommodation was spacious, and the bed was one of the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in, in Asia (for my admittedly western tastes where I often find Asian beds are too hard for me). The food at the restaurant was excellent, and staff were very helpful at arranging day trips, and shuttle into town. It’s very easy and cheap to get a tuktuk back from Kampot city centre.

Dans notre salle de bain le robinet au niveau du lavabo n’était pas bien fixé cela est dommage pour une hôtel 5 étoiles. Nous n’avons pas eu d’eau chaude pendant un soir.

A small group of drunk people partied and shouted at each other until midnight next to the pool -next to my room- when the pool hours were until 10pm and staff didn’t address it.

Het is wat afgelegen en de toegangsweg is echt zeer oncomfortabel.

Le cadre verdoyant et l’environnement du resort, le calme des lieux, les piscines, le confort de la chambre.

Le gros bémol est le petit déjeuner pour un établissement de ce standing ! En effet, absence de jus de fruits frais, boissons chaudes limitées à un café filtré ou un thé (tout le reste est en extra), pas de confitures maisons, la partie sucrée se limite à quelques viennoiseries industrielles… Il faut également avoir conscience que l’hôtel est éloigné du centre de KAMPOT, nécessitant de prendre un TUK TUK (route de terre cabossée sur 1km).

Un hôtel superbe, en pleine nature, on se croirait dans la jungle. Le staff est extrêmement sympathique et professionnel. La chambre Deluxe vue rivière est top, la literie est très bonne. Le restaurant est très bon, ainsi que le petit déjeuner. 2 piscines incroyables. Canoë à disposition pour explorer la mangrove.

Lovely property set in lush gardens. Upgraded to Private villa and I would highly recommend this room type if you are staying. Beautifully appointed rooms with excellent facilities. A special thanks to Mr Bunrong for all his assistance.

Beautiful setting but wouldn't stay there again.

Horrible road to the hotel. We tried to order food at 9:40pm and the waiter was very dissatisfied about us being there. He refused to serve us. Even though the restaurant was supposed to serve food until 10pm. Breakfast wasn't good as well.

We stayed here in September and really enjoyed it. The place was calm and peaceful, exactly what we were looking for. The room was great: big comfortable bed, good shower, a terrace, bathrobes, even umbrellas. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and always ready to assist. There are two pools with a nice view over the river, which was a big plus. The resort itself is nicely decorated with lots of plants and a river passing through the resort, which gives it a relaxed vibe. Breakfast and the restaurant food were really good, and the new restaurant on site is in a beautiful setting. They also offer free shuttle buses to the city center, which made things easy. If you’re coming to Kampot, this is definitely a place we’d recommend.
