I'm very glad we stayed here—the apartment was very cute, stylish (in an Ikea-way) and comfortable. I didn't know if we really "needed" a whole apartment for just two nights, but in the end, it was so worth it...a great place to relax, have a snack, and read a bit. We didn't really cook, but the kitchen is well-equipped to make meals, if you want to, and there is a very big supermarket just around the corner. (Just a note, there are no food provisions at all, like salt, oil or coffee/tea, so be prepared to buy everything you need in terms of groceries.) The loft is in the lower part of Quebec, and there are some nice bars and restaurants in walking distance right nearby. We also walked up to the Old City on the mountain several times—a pretty short distance, but a bit of an uphill hike! Having access to a laundry area was so helpful, and the little outside patio was nice. We enjoyed being there!

It was all really good, but we wished we had booked the apartment with the hot tub! (We thought it was available to everyone, but I think it is just accessible to one loft. After a day of walking, that would be nice...)

Des capsules de café et du thé auraient été un plus. Beaucoup de travaux dans le quartier. L entrée du logement se situe dans la même rue que la soupe populaire mais pas de désagrément.

The space.

The loft was soulless and we were left on our own for the duration of stay. No changing of towels or bedding. No cleaning. As a visitor we didn't like the area that the loft was located in.

The location is perfect, the place is perfect and spacious. The staff was very nice and I appreciate you have the space to save the luggage.

Clean, modern and comfortable, close to a supermarket and restaurants in what looks like a part of town that is being regenerated. A short walk from the railway station (for Montreal), and 10-15 minutes from the main tourist areas of Quebec.

Location is so so

Neighborhood is so so. Room not overly soundproof could hear the kid running around late at night and early in the morning. No where to hang towels in the bathroom, no soap dish in the shower.

La posizione è veramente molto brutta. Non tanto per la distanza dal centro quanto per la frequentazione della zona. Non da sentirsi a proprio agio per il bivacco davanti all’edificio. Noi eravamo con un bimbo piccolo e non lo consiglio assolutamente. Confermo poi come in altre recensioni che le tende praticamente sono inutili e che la luce del sole entra fortissima. Avevo scritto alla struttura per chiedere se ci fossero tende coprenti e se potessero mettermi ad un piano alto. Mi hanno detto che le tende fossero coprenti cosa non vera e mi hanno all’ultimo spostato dal quarto al secondo piano e alle mia mail di dissenso non ho più ricevuto risposta.

O apartamento é ótimo, duas suítes, sala ampla, cozinha muito boa, tudo muito limpo. Boa localização, fizemos todos os passeios a pé.

Location was great - many interesting shops and restaurants nearby as well as the train station and a grocery store. Everything was clean and new. Free luggage storage at another location of this company was a bonus.

It took a little while to learn to control the temperature as the air conditioner unit is only in one room and there are thermostats (for the heating) in every room

El living comedor estaba muy lindo y agradable, el departamento muy limpio.

La calidad de las camas, malos los colchones y las almohadas estaban realmente malas todas apelotonadas. No había closets en las piezas donde dejar la ropa. El equipamiento de la cocina muy básica, no había tetera eléctrica no cafetera con capsulas.

It was clean & had all of the basic necessities. The location was convenient to restaurants & shopping.

The shades on the windows are not sufficient. It was like trying to sleep in subdued light. Lights from the building under construction behind were shining in.

This was a very comfortable place to stay for our first trip to Quebec City. We needed 2 bed rooms and 2 bath. What to expect.It was very clean, plenty of towels. The kitchen was well stocked. There was salt and pepper , but no coffee or tea . The check in was super smooth . This is the Saint -Roch area or lower city , and it was a good location. You could walk to the old part of the City. Close to the train station. And there were a lots of very good restaurants, patisserie and shops, that were a short walk from the Lofts. Hono Izakay was one. Also a very good supermarket less than a 5 minute walk. There was a General store with practically anything you might need, Art supplies,office , kitchen gardening, water sports etc. This particular vacation rental's entrance was not on Rue Saint-Joseph E, but on a side street. Also Booking.com was very good about letting us know of construction that is going on right next to the building. Some of the road is blocked off so not much car traffic. There was not much noise during our stay. We enjoyed our stay, it was comfortable.

This is not a dislike , just what to expect if you have never stayed in this area before. Saint -Roch is described as gritty , with some areas gentrified.It was a historically a working class neighborhood. It is not touristy, but lively. There was quite a number of street people. You just need to be mindful, as in many cities. Loft, there is only one A/C unit .It's in the kitchen /living room .The windows are fixed. There was some sort of unit to exchange the air ,but we ended up getting 2 small fans for the bedrooms to help circulate the air.Both bedrooms got stuffy with heat.

The apartment was very spacious and modern. Having a supermarket close by and a full kitchen to use was excellent too.

The main door was very heavy and hard to use because of its quick close design.

Quel magnifique endroit! C'est un havre de paix dans la folie des vacances. Tout est propre, bien rangé et confortable. Nous y avons passé du temps de qualité. Le salon est très confortable et amène à la réunion et à la détente. Les lits sont moelleux et séparés pour préserver l'intimité bien qu'on soit dans un loft. Il y a tout ce qu'il faut dans la cuisine pour se préparer un bon repas et manger tranquillement comme à la maison. J'ai adoré mon séjour au Loft St-François. Je le recommande à 100%.

Il serait bien de prévoir un endroit où suspendre les serviettes de douche pour séchage.

L'esposizione dell'appartamento al sole durante tutta la giornata lo rendono particolarmente caldo con temperature non inferiori ai 27-28 gradi, nonostante l'aria condizionata che non sembra funzionare alla perfezione. Le tapparelle lasciano filtrare la luce anche di notte e alle 5 di mattina eravamo tutti svegli. La posizione dell'alloggio è distante dal centro storico e si trova in un quartiere molto malfamato con la presenza ad ogni ora di diverse persone parecchio disturbate in un contesto di forte degrado

La réception, la fille qui m’a réveillée 11h02 avec une brique et un fanal….en plus de nous espionner sur les camera a l’extérieur du bâtiment… nos faits et geste… à lhr que l’on se couche… nous soupçonnons que il y a des cameras A linterieur…..😡

The room was incredibly spacious, and the location was highly convenient, with easy access to a nearby supermarket and a variety of great restaurants. I also appreciated the access to communal laundry facilities.

While the location is well-connected, please be aware that nearby construction can make the building slightly harder to find upon arrival. Additionally, the interior bedroom has no window, so the room temperature tends to stay on the warmer side.

hotel is located near a charitable food distribution center, which unfortunately attracts a large number of homeless individuals to loiter in the surrounding area, which can be intimidating for guests.

Night time - there was lot of light coming in. The blinds did not darken the rooms. Black out curtains should be provided. Shelves - none are provided. Where is one expected to keep the clothes. Air conditioning: No instructions are provided on how to adjust. One of the bedrooms temperature could not be adjusted.

Tutto perfetto. Il loft e' carinissimo con tutto il necessario e una cucina ad isola bellissima. Letto comodo. Molto molto luminoso, anche durante la notte a causa dei neon della strada e le prime ore del mattino (consiglio dibportare con se una mascherina occhi se la luce da fastidio). Parcheggi vicini ed economici che ci hanno indicato i gestori, supermetcato e localini a due passi. A disposizione al secondo piano lavasciuga comune. Risposte rapide dello staff e gentilezza nell'accordarci il check in un'ora prima senza aggiuntivi costi. Veramente tutto perfetto.

Ruim appartement met alle voorzieningen.

De zetel had wel echt zijn beste tijd gehad, en het appartement is gelegen recht tegenover een voorziening waar verslaafde hun methadon halen. Dus die lopen daar heel de dag rond, maar vallen je verder niet lastig.

Great apartment close to station, supermarket and Old Town. Furnished well and clean. On 3rd floor and apartment very quiet apart from construction noise on 1 day.

Construction noise started at 5:30 am one day (was up so didn’t bother us but bring earplugs). Small amount of tea, coffee and milk would have been nice.

The apartment is located right in front of the ‘Soupe Populaire’, which resulted in noise in the morning (starting at 8am). Additionally the neighbourhood is swarmed by homeless people. Would not recommend solely because of the location

The blind in the bedroom wasn't very good at keeping the light out so it gets bright in there in the morning.

The windows don't open. When we came in there was a strong smell of bleach due to the cleaning process. but we couldn't ventilate it.

Location was good when traveling by train.

Kitchen was sparsely furnished. No oven mitts which made using the oven useless. No paper towels, mixing bowls or pitcher for putting water in the fridge.

La hora de ingreso es muy tarde (4pm) y la de salida es muy temprano (11am)

Het contactloze inchecken was uitstekend georganiseerd. We ontvingen ruim op tijd duidelijke instructies, waardoor alles soepel verliep. Het appartement bevindt zich op de derde verdieping en kijkt uit op een nabijgelegen gebouw in aanbouw. Dit was vooraf bekend en kwam overeen met de informatie bij de boeking. Het appartement was goed ingericht en van alle gemakken voorzien. Alleen enkele theezakjes hadden het welkom nog completer gemaakt. De bedden waren bijzonder comfortabel en dankzij de verschillende kussens was er voor iedereen een geschikte keuze. De airconditioning en verwarming werkten prima, soms zelfs iets te enthousiast, maar voor een kort verblijf van twee nachten was dat geen probleem. Alles was schoon bij aankomst, alle apparaten functioneerden naar behoren en het internet was snel en betrouwbaar. Een groot pluspunt van deze locatie is de uitstekende bereikbaarheid. Wij arriveerden met de trein vanuit Montreal en konden het appartement eenvoudig te voet bereiken, omdat het treinstation vlakbij ligt. Hierdoor was er geen taxi of Uber nodig. Ook bevindt zich in de directe omgeving een uitstekende supermarkt, Metro, waar je terecht kunt voor verse maaltijden, kant-en-klare gerechten en heerlijke soep. Daarnaast stopt de bus naar de prachtige Montmorency Falls vrijwel voor de deur. Deze watervallen zijn absoluut een bezoek waard en vormen een mooie uitstap tijdens je verblijf.

Het grootste minpunt van dit appartement is dat de ramen niet geopend kunnen worden. Dat was voor ons een flinke teleurstelling, omdat frisse lucht volledig ontbreekt en het appartement daardoor soms wat benauwd aanvoelt. De locatie wordt als centraal omschreven, maar dat hebben wij anders ervaren. Het appartement ligt in de benedenstad en om de belangrijkste bezienswaardigheden in de bovenstad te bereiken, moet je óf een flinke klim via steile trappen maken óf een omweg van ongeveer 1,5 kilometer lopen. Wij wandelen graag, maar voor een kort verblijf kost dit onnodig veel tijd en bij slecht weer is het zeker geen plezierige route. In de keuken ontbreekt een elektrische waterkoker; water koken moet met een pan op het fornuis. Daarnaast waren de bouwwerkzaamheden naast het gebouw wel aangekondigd, maar niet dat de bouwvakkers al rond 5 uur 's ochtends aanwezig zijn en hun werkdag luidruchtig beginnen. Omdat de nieuwbouw zich op zeer korte afstand bevindt, is het uitzicht bovendien beperkt en kun je nauwelijks zien wat het weer buiten doet. Tot slot zijn de toegangsdeuren van het gebouw opvallend zwaar. Tegenover de ingang bevindt zich een voedselbank. Dit heeft overigens geen overlast veroorzaakt; mensen wachtten rustig en respectvol in de rij.

The location was great. The apartment was modern and spacious. I recommend staying in this place.

There was a very foul smell coming from the dishwasher that lingered during our 2 night stay. The lights from the construction site nearby made it impossible to sleep.

Un peu bruyant le week-end. On entend la musique d’un bar. Par contre, ça semble être correct les autres jours. La porte fermait mal alors on entendait tous les bruits dans le couloir. Notez qu’il n’y a pas de consigne à bagages sur place.

The loft is very spacious, we enjoyed it immensely. Apart from the apartment temperature, everything was as advertised.

The ventilation system became problematic after the 1st night. The apartment was constantly heated up, up to 28 C. We had to turn on the AC to manage the heat. The radiators were cold, so it must have been some central ventilation problem.

1) Découvrir sur le message de confirmation que des travaux avaient lieu du lundi au samedi de 7H à 21H . L'immeuble en construction étant à 15 m des fenêtres 2) Aucun geste commercial pour compenser cette situation connue et non indiquée avant la réservation 3) une caution retenue sans information préalable à la réservation 4) Un appartement non conforme aux photos 5) la localisation : Entrée à 25 m de la soupe populaire pour les itinérants à Quebec 6) La mise à disposition du code d'entrée 4H après l'heure indiquée dans le message de confirmation et reçu après 2 mails de relance et aucune réponse au téléphone 7) Des équipements non fonctionnels (porte de douche, lampes de chevets, poignets de porte ) 8) Cerise sur la gâteau: Lofts St François ont proposé une alternative mais nécessitant un complément financier. Gonflé ! 9) Appartement totalement hermétique pas de possibilité d'ouvrir les fenêtre clim chaud /froid mais jamais à bonne température

Good location, well presented and good facilities

L’appartement est très propre et beau, conforme aux photos, bien sécurisé, accès facile.

Pour le prix ce n’est pas normal de ne pas avoir de rideaux ou de stores “black out” dans les chambres, et aucun rangements pour les vêtements et les affaires. Les salles de bains sont jolies mais vraiment pas pratiques on a aucune place pour laisser nos affaires. Sans parler des gens de la constructions qui ont une vue plongeante de bon matin sur tout l’appartement. Il faut des rideaux !!

Beautiful big modern apartment in a great location close to public transport, kitchen with enough utensils, very comfy bed, big shower, streaming services on tv, easy self check in, great view, staff were responsive, very clean, quiet area.

The property was spacious and well equipped. It was clean tidy and located near to small row of shops and a few minutes from a supermarket. 20 mins walk to old Quebec. Excellent showers and lovely open feel as the window were so large throughout the property.

Nous avions déjà loué le loft 500. Cette fois-ci le 501 est face à un immeubles vide pour l'instant, mais en construction. Quand cet immeuble sera pret et qu'il y aura des habitants il n'y aura plus d'intimité dans ce loft.

Some really disturbed/strange people hanging around by the entrance at times and at the property over the back of the bedrooms on Saturday night. Also … the second shower door in the smaller bedroom is problematical. It goes inwards and anyone who is a larger build/big shoulders/pregnant will have problems getting in and out comfortably/safely

La grosseur de l'hébergement la propreté et la tranquillité sonore.

La cuisinière était restée ouverte avec une bouilloire sur le rond lors de notre arrivée. Odeur de marijuana Présence policière lors de notre arrivée en soirée. Donc inquiétude à savoir si tout était sécuritaire. Il faisait très chaud malgré le fait que nous avions baissé les thermostats.

Il y a beaucoup d'espace, c'est très lumineux. La cuisine est bien aménagée, la salle de bain aussi. le lit est confortable, l'éclairage de la chambre bien trouvé. L'emplacement est bon si on est là pour le travail. un peu de marche pour le tourisme. Près de la gare. Bon wifi.

On a besoin de dosettes de café ou de thé. On n'arrive pas avec son paquet de café pour une nuit. Il y a un immeuble en construction juste à côté. Les travaux commencent tôt et les élévateurs donnent aux ouvriers une vue plongeante sur l'appartement. En revanche le soir, c'est très calme. Pas de réception sur place, j'avais compris le contraire à partir du site. Mais l'arrivée est facile, bien expliquée. C'est un rez-de-chaussée. Il ne serait pas possible d'ouvrir les fenêtres et de garder son intimité.

L’emplacement était parfait. Restaurants, parking payant à côté de l’établissement et bar où vous pouvez marcher sans prendre la voiture, pour une soirée animée. Deux chambres avec deux salles de bain parfaite pour deux couples qui veulent visiter la belle ville de Québec et passer du bon temps.

Musique un peu bruyante venant des bar près, mais qui est quand même tolérable.

Lits confortables, grands et tout est super propre.

Il n’y a que des stores sur les fenêtres mais la lumière de la rue éclaire tellement dans les chambres que l’on croirait que la lumière de la chambre est restée ouverte. Même avec un loup, ça peut être difficile de dormir si la lumière est quelque chose qui vous empêche de dormir. Une toile ou des rideaux opaques seraient de mise.
