Newly renovated property in Semporna. Good, clean facilities with a decent buffet breakfast included. Central location within walking distance of most restaurants and shops. Nice place for a stopover in Sampras

The shower was v good and the bathroom was modern . The bedroom was a good size .

The staff at the front desk were not v helpful . On arrival they asked us for a cash deposit of 100 ringgit which was an odd request which we refused to do. They said it was in case we damaged the room . But the kettle didn’t work and the toilet flush was a bit broken . So the room was already faulty ! The location is not where it shows it is on booking.com . It is about a ten minute walk from the pier area instead which means you need to walk through the streets either market stalls to get to the hotel .

Super hotel około 10-15 minut piechotą od portu, z którego wypływają wszystkie statki i wycieczki. Pokoje przestronne, czyste. Dobre śniadania. Polecam!

It's modern hotel that meets expectation of 3 star rating at Booking.com. The room is spacious, clean, with big TV and comfortable beds. Shower there is outstanding. It's in walking distance from the center and jetty. Hotel also offers free shuttle bus to the jetty which Is a nice bonus. There is a great restaurant with exceptional price/value ratio DOZO NANYANG KOPI HOUSE located in the hotel's building. Hotel gives a feeling of a more upscale accommodation that is later offset with few messed up things. I can highly recommend it for overnight stays before going to the neighbour islands.

Windows and especially room doors are having poor acoustic isolation, so you hear every word from the corridor as well as some noise from outside (we have got a room from the inner block, so it was reasonably Ok). Breakfast has many choices, but it's tasteless.

The free shuttle service went pretty much anywhere in Semporna more or less on demand. The staff were kind and helpful. There was a convenience store, pharmacy and noodle house on the same block. Close to recommend restaurants. Very reasonable prices, including shared van transport to Tawau airport.

Location was extremely noisy. No laundry services offered. Wifi only worked well in the lobby. Breakfast options were mostly local foods and serving spoons rested in water of unknown origin. Only low quality margarine was offered for the one sided toast. Housekeeping was a low point: I had to call to reception three times one evening when I was freezing and salty/crunchy from being in the water all day and came back to find zero towels in my room. The sheets were not changed during my 11 day stay and the bathroom mirror only got cleaned once.

Much better than expected after reading the other reviews. By standards of Semporna, this hotel is very good. My room was very spacious, comfortable and clean. The staff members were nice, but completely failed at the one thing people actually come to Semporna for - information about day trips to the nearby islands. It felt like I was the first person to ever ask them about going to Mabul or Mataking. To be fair all “sales” people in Semporna were like this so not just an issue in this hotel.

The rooms are spacious. The breakfast is delicious with wide variety of choices. They offer free bus shuttle to the jetty.

The noise from the road and the nearby mosque.

It is new and clean. The room has a balcony and it faces the front road. It offers free shuttle buses to and from the jetty which is awesome.

Around 9:30pm, dogs would bark for a while which is quite loud. Not sure where the dogs come from and why they start barking around this time only.

It has free shuttle to and from the jetty which is a bonus. Rooms are big and has a balcony. Breakfast is good with adequate varieties. The breakfast room is on the top floor and offers a good view of the city. The staff try their best to please us.

On our check out day, we had our breakfast at around 9am and it should end at 10:30am. There was no more eggs. We asked the staff and he asked the kitchen and said no more eggs. We didn't believe that they ran out of eggs so we asked if they could just cook two eggs for us and they said ok. After a while, we got our eggs. Then more guests came for breakfast, checked the chafing dish for eggs and saw it emptied. I think this is when the staff told the kitchen that they need to cook more eggs as there are more guests who wanted eggs. I wonder why they didn't cook more eggs as it was only around 9am.

Very safe and clean. Great location with a free shuttle and a very good on-site restaurant.

It is a bit loud outside, so ask for an interior facing room if sound bothers you.

This is a nice modern hotel

The floors were dirty. They needed to be mopped. There was mold in the shower just overall unclean. The sheets and towels were clean, which was OK

The balcony is the best part for a diver with their wet equipments, and it's the crucial reason why I chose here. It took a night and my equipment all dry. The free shuttle between the jety and the hotel is convenient, and the only thing I have to do is to make a single call telling where I am. Though the hallway is full of durian smell from other guests, the room still smell free from it. The room has sufficient international sockets, good.

The shower door is a little stupid, since it cannot completely be closed and may stuck with the restroom sink, though it doesn't affect the use of them.

Below average breakfast. Bad coffee.

Price is reasonable. Got free chauffuer sservice. Clean and coffee shop next door.

Some staffs just annoyed you when you chatted with them via social media. Cleaning crew frequently missed out certain items when they cleaned your room. Try not use their bath foam and shampoo if you have sensitive skin. Construction works during day time as the hotel is expanding. If you want to book snorkelling trip, try to book direct instead.

Good sized comfortable rooms. Air con unit was very noisy. However, that drowned out the noise from the road. Semporna is a busy town so everywhere is noisy.

Air con unit was noisy. No water fountain for re fills. Everywhere else we have stayed has at least that.

The breakfast was really nice. You can see the whole sea view from the restaurant.

We asked the receptionist to call a taxi for us tomorrow morning. But he totally forgot that made us not able to get to the diving shop in time. Finally, another receptionist sent us there by the hotel’s car for free.

Everything! The staff are all very helpful. The location is very good as it is near to restaurants, convenience store, laundry & even clinic! The breakfast is wonderful, full of varieties & tasty. The room is clean & comfortable too. I would definitely recommend the hotel to all my other friends. Extra point, they allow you to store your bag packs & luggage at the hotel prior check in before starting our island hopping trip, really grateful for that.

Although the place is new, wall and ceiling leaking problems should be solved to maintain a good reputation. Mosquitoes everywhere is also an issue.

The staff... the bed and the bathroom were amazing. Compared to other hotels and homestays in the area, the hotel was among the best.

There was no mini bar fridge in the room. Windows and walls have very poor acoustical insulation. The neighbour guests were very lound and noisy over 2 nights. The room is very clean but there was big cockroach in the hotel corridor. I cannot blame the property competely as the outdoor areas of the entire city have serious hygiene issues.

Es ist wohl ein neues Hotel, so viele Features sind aber schon verrostet oder aber auch nicht gereinigt, es hat den Charme einer Großbaustelle. Die Zimmer sind geräumig und haben oben eine schöne Aussicht. Das war das positive. Die Lobby ist besetzt von vielen jungen Menschen die keinerlei (!) Ahnung von Hotelerie haben. Genutzt und ausgelegt auf Chinesen, die sich laut und rücksichtslos verhalten, trotz Beschwerden kümmert sich niemand. Der Balkon wird ab Einbruch der Dunkelheit von einem Hotspot angestrahlt, wenn sie in dieser sehr unsicheren Gegend also gerne mal abends im Flutlicht sitzen wollen… die Vorhänge muesseosie auch schließen weil das Licht auch ihr Zimmer beleuchtet, und es ist die ganze Nacht an! Kaum eine Person kann Englisch, sie sind verloren dort wenn sie Fragen haben… es wird auf den Manager verwiesen.. der ist übrigens immer zum Essen, Tag und Nacht 😂 Der frühstücksraum ist ohne Worte.. total aufgeheizt, macht aber nichts denn lange bleibt man eh nicht , weil entweder mag man morgens um 7 h chinesisches Essen und kalte Vorgefertigte Eier oder trockenes Toastbrot, es wird dazu gereicht: Eine Packung Margarine und eine Konservendose Kaya, da kratzt sich dann jeder was raus. Die Margarine war ranzig.. Der Kaffe besteht aus den kaffesticks und creamer, die man auch auf dem Zimmer hat.. am dritten Tag war die Dose Kaya leer.. und da stand dann halt nur noch die ranzige Transport an den Flughafen hat ebenso nicht funktioniert, usw usw. Ich könnte noch
