Reviewed Sep 1, 2026Whenever I fly out of Berlin, the Moxy is going to be my place from now on! After driving four hours from Poland, it was such a great place to arrive at. The front desk staff were so welcoming and informative. My room was clean and so inviting. Convenience is key here! I loved the separate room set up for ironing your clothes, the great restaurant within walking distance (Tony’s Pizzeria), and the airport shuttle service.
I do wish there had been better instructions on finding the shuttle upon my arrival to BER, but I’ll know for next time. I also was disappointed that no one was at the bar to serve me a glass of wine after a busy day! When I did find a worker headed for the kitchen, I asked her if I could get a glass of wine. She nicely told me she would get someone for me. I waited ten minutes and decided I didn’t need wine enough to wait any longer! The actual bar itself is beautiful. It’s a shame it was not staffed at 6 p.m.

Bathroom had fungus/mold and was unbearable to step in. I asked for room change but they had none available. Instead so one from staff came in to clean it which was only a temporary relief. Considering this was a room for people with accessibility needs, I would expect special attention to cleanliness since some would definitely be more prone to allergies and infection that rest. Everything was super costly but that was perhaps "proximity to airport" tax.

Clear instructions where is the shuttle bus stop, tell us that once we have bought a ticket in the hotel that we can use the shuttle all the time during our stay. This is important when deciding if we want to book a room there. Also - a classical cupboard in the room for putting the clothes in would be helpful.
