Everything about our stay was outstanding. The staff consistently made sure everything with our stay was great. The hotel is very comfortable and has a great feel about it. We are currently on a 16 country trip around the world - and this is one of our favorite places so far.

Staff were lovely and Dolakh, the manager (owner?), was very helpful and fair with his prices (e.g., tours, hiring a driver, etc). His driver is also excellent – experienced and drives with much care. Location was peaceful and our room had a very green view, overlooking Swambhunath, which was the highlight. A very short walk to the epicentre of Thamel, but without the noise and chaos. The breakfast was simple but fine for the price. We couldn't try the spa because it was closed during low season.

Nothing negative to say. The only thing I'd mention is that it was great value for the price, but I got a huge discount due to low season. Had I been paying the listed price, I would have expected something more luxurious, more elaborate breakfast, etc. So, my rating is relative to the price I paid. The locations of hotel is in the city area. Room is nice and super clean. The price is reasonable. Driver pick up from the airport to hotel l and the car has enough space for luggage and the car is super clean. Driver and hotel staff are polite and helping with luggage. The food is amazing. I highly recommend this hotel.

Below average breakfast, quite silly options and felt they were skimping on costs overall. The operations manger in particular felt racist and judgemental, no warm hospitality and weird looks everytime we pass by the lobby. Overall id stay here only if proximity to thamel mattered but still in a quiet location. Hotel amenities are basic to poorly managed. Room with balcony was fairly clean but basic at most.

Cet hôtel est mon camp de base quand je suis sur Kathmandu plusieurs fois par mois. Le rapport qualité prix est excellent, douche vraiment chaude avec une vraie pression, lit très confortable et surtout, c'est calme ! Le petit déjeuner le matin est varié et délicieux. Le staff est toujours au petit soin et proactif. C'est toujours un excellent séjour avec eux ! Je recommande !

Very clean, quiet n peaceful, yet close to shopping and town. The terrace is superb, so is the the gym facilities. Staff is super helpful. Safe, yummy food too. The manager went out of his way to ensure my comfort; also gave me a free upgrade. Big Thanks to Mr Golak for his blessings so I successfully completed my high altitude treks too. Everest Boutique is highly recommendedfor any visit to Kathmandu.

Power outage on a couple of occasions. Was back in few minutes, and I guess that's not entirely within the control of hotel staff. It does not take away any of the privileges of my peaceful, comfortable stay.

The best hotel in Thamel. ever.

The hotel arranged an airport pickup for me, and even though my flight arrived much later than expected, the driver was still waiting for me, which I really appreciated after a long trip. The location is excellent- very close to the tourist center, but on a quiet and peaceful street. I had a cozy room with a balcony and an amazing view. The staff were incredibly kind and always helpful. Breakfasts were quite simple, but different every day, and there were always fresh fruits. I really enjoyed my stay here.

Mr Dowlath is an excellent , polite and accommodating manager responding to needs of guests...together with Anil ! ...very helpful in advising tourists . Very beautiful building..esp the superior heritage room with balcony..👍

The staff showed more affection and paid more attention to individuals and group of guests coming from Europe/UK/US. As a guest we felt a bit ignored and rudely talked to. Be it house keeping or the kitchen closing at 9:30 pm or housekeeping staff leaves at 4 pm were some of the excuses we got.

The Room was very Big and the bed was very comfortable. The Hotel is too beautiful and close to Thamel Market for a quick walk.

The food was a little bland for my taste. Also the hotel is located in a very narrow street so getting there by car was tricky.

The hotel was beautiful, really lovely details in the design. The staff were very helpful and organised an airport transfer for us. The location is not too far from the main food and shopping area, on a quiet street which is nice. The bed was also the most comfortable we had in Nepal!

Really lovely stay with modern amenities and friendly staff. Comfortable bed and very nice bathroom. Centrally located for easy access to lots of sights, but a quiet road too. Attentive staff at breakfast / in general was great. Lovely roof terrace!

The shower enclosure leaked so it could become a bit of a wet room!

This must be the best value for money hotel in Kathmandu. The location cannot be better - in Thamel but very private and peaceful. The hotel staff is the kindest and polite. The breakfast is great, whilst rooms are clean. Their rooftop space offers views to the entire Kathmandu. I cannot recommend this hotel enough.

Very nice hotel, the terrace is amazing, they have a small gym and the room was great. Free Taxi service from the airport was perfect. We had to leave early before breakfast and they prepare us a boxe.

Beautiful hotel, staff very professional and welcoming. Amazing view of the city from my room and rooftop dinning / lounge area.

Only negative was email said shuttle at airport. Apparently I had to make previous arrangements to get the shuttle, but after contacting hotel it arrived 30-40 minutes to pick me up.

We got a room with window with view to the eoofs of next building, so unfortunately very dark. Nearly no daylight.

The location was very good, while they also offer a pick up from the airiport which was very important to me as a solo traveller. Also, some difficulties were happily assisted and sorted by the manager of the property.

В этот отель влюбляешься с первого взгляда. Традиционная архитектура, гостеприимство персонала. В номерах есть все что может понадобиться путешественнику, а а если чего то не хватает, просто попросите и вам принесут. Крыша потрясающая и вечером с чашечкой чая сидеть на ней одно удовольствие. This is my second time staying with them. And will always book with them while I’m in Kathmandu. The hotel’s location is in close proximity to Thamel Bazaar if you’re interested in hiking.

The hotel is located in very good location, on the outskirts of Thamel, a few steps from good Yangling restaurant. The room was comfortable and there were some good options for breakfast. We stayed for 4 nights and during that time there was no room service, but when we asked, we received toilet paper, water and fresh towels. Free pick up from the airport is a great bonus.

Sehr gute Lage in Thamel, sehr angenehmes Zimmer, sehr ruhig, sehr freundliches Personal, super schöne Dachterrasse, sehr gutes, ausgiebiges, abwechslungsreiches Frühstück. Ich konnte meine Sachen während des Treks hier aufbewahren lassen. Ich habe mich sehr wohl gefühlt!

Good breakfast, location on a quiet street close to the busy Thamel. Superb shower with hot water. Very clean hotel. Service good and rooftop gave me a great picture of the sunset. Smiling and attentive staff.

My room did not have open window to the outside, the window went to the hallway. Other than that it was an excellent stay.

Сотрудники безупречно вежливы и готовы помочь.

Tolles Hotel in einer sehr guten Lage in einer Seitenstraße und sehr rhuig gelegen. Der Inhaber und das Personal waren immer freundlich und sehr hilfsbereit. Tolle Dachterasse und abwechslungsreiches Frühstück. Auch das Essen aus der Karte war imer sehr Gut. Alles Top, sollten wir wieder mal in Nepal sein, werden wir es au jedenfall wieder buchen.

The hotel was clean, the aesthetic felt just right and not tacky, and the facilities were quite modern. I was very happy with my stay. The staff were exceptionally helpful and were happy to meet any of my demands. Plenty of stuff to do around the hotel, the location is super. The view from the rooftop is great as well.

One of the finest properties better than 5 star hotels, exceptional customer service , they helped us in booking flight tickets for further journey, spacious rooms with all amenities, Good breakfast and terrace with good view.

I booked the room with the jacuzzi, and it was amazing! It was the perfect size, with a small balcony, a hot shower (which is not always the case everywhere in the city), very clean, and a super comfy and warm bed. The staff was extremely friendly and attentive, and the breakfast was good. Also loved the rooftop with amazing views of the city and the gym! I really appreciated that at checkout I could pay partly by card and partly in Nepalese rupees, which helped me use up my remaining cash.
